14621  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: June 26, 2015, 10:42:51 AM
Buy into the SPX ICO on YoBit.

The coin supply is practically fixed with pure PoS and low interest. There is increased demand thanks to their hardware sales model so if you want to make BTCBTCBTC from an ICO there's your shot. Buy now, thank me in a week

Best way to earn Bitcoins   Kiss

Im not interesting to buy SPX
why i must buy coin with 100% premine and ICO ? some ico coin create just for dump and pump, no future in ICO coin

i agree buy the less shit scam coin out there, which are litecoin doge dash and monero, the rest is pure trash, at least those four are proven to be worth it in some way, and they will not die so easily after 1 pump...
14622  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Creating same priv. key two times on: June 26, 2015, 10:39:59 AM
it was already said multiple times that collision probability is so slim that it is more feasible for the universe to explode right now instead

anyway by splitting your balance among several addresses, you can prevent that you lose a big portion of it in the unlikely event that an unimaginable collision will come out...
14623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So we can get paid BTC for searching on Bing? on: June 26, 2015, 08:38:37 AM
How much satoshi would each search be worth? Can't be that much, else bots would rule the landscape..

it is better to go with faucets, or with system like 2captcha, they pay you to solve captcha, i think you might earn much more than using their crap browser

if they want to do this seriously, they should offer 10k satoshi hour for using their browser
14624  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitstamp stealing my ID and banking details ? on: June 26, 2015, 08:05:27 AM
This is rather strange.

I have tried to open an account there and because it's in a "company" name and there are 2 "directors" I had to go though another process.

Fair enough I thought, I will submit copies of passports etc etc.

Problem is .. I did it through the ticket system and now those tickets are not on the system and I am (after 30hours) still not getting ANY response from them.

I am not that worried about money or coins because I have not deposited any.

What I am worried about is now they have my ID and banking information and are NOT responding.

Kind of putting a bad taste in my mouth here. Huh

Bitstamp wont take your ID and sell it. LMAO.  Grin

but if an attack from hacker occur, then your id could be stole for malicious activity, this is why i can't trust exchange with id, and i'll never, send mine ever..

better to deal with exchange that ask your name and address only with limited deposit and withdrawals
14625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What projects are you most excited about? on: June 26, 2015, 08:00:27 AM
i need something like amazon for bitcoin, immediately so openbazar only for me, there should be an exchange counterpart, or they can integrate it in the open bazar project

i hope it will be big, and not only a niche market, like every other project for bitcoin...
14626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminals/thieves/hackers who have been tracked via the blockchain? on: June 26, 2015, 07:54:41 AM

i always wonder, if they were caught because of their negligence about using correctly a mixer, or if because you can track anyone in the end if you work hard enough

because they have still not caught the hacker from bitstamp, so two are the cases, they are not working hard or that hacker know how to hide himself 100%
14627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are key scramblers effective in beating keyloggers to protect our btc wallets? on: June 26, 2015, 07:51:34 AM
What about the hitman pro alert stuff? It basically protects your browser from any suspicious activity and is also supposed to block stuff coming from ads that are compromised. Sounds pretty good to have as a backup during browsing.

isn't this not free? how much is the cost, i don't want to pay for protecting my ass, when if i follow simple rules no hacker can hack anything

the best antivirus is still your brain
14628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: June 26, 2015, 07:48:10 AM
Still waiting for a good news so bitcoin price will raise up Cheesy. I think bitcoin will be still alive until 5 years later, so it's a wise choice to stay for 5 years

it will not died for sure between this halving, there is enough hype around it to make bitcoin survive until then

so everyone should at least stays until that date, bitcoin will prove itself there, if the price will not rise, expect another great despair phase, much greater than today...
14629  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: At what point do we stop kidding ourselves? Bye Bye mining farms. on: June 26, 2015, 07:45:01 AM
if the wattage will go down because of a better efficiency, then more miners will be added = the same result as today(with more hashpower, but same consumption), you can't escape from that equation

the only thing to reduce it would be that bitcoin will remain at current price(after the halving), therefore miners need to shut down 50% of the total hash, unless they manage to double their efficiency in 1 year

so there is a percentage of possibility that nothing will change with the reward(besides the difficulty), highly unlikely though

The total cost of mining is usually similar to the block rewards.

It is still cheaper than cost of maintaining today's banking system, many many folds.

then why governments are not adopting bitcoin, it would be a win win situation for them, if the cost are vastly cheaper, is only regualtion that prevent this? or there is something else...

i think they just don't like to not have the control over money
14630  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card!!! on: June 26, 2015, 07:41:51 AM
Bitcoin Debit Card!!!
BitPlastic offers the world's ONLY Bitcoin debit card,
enabling you to convert Bitcoin to CASH which you can
withdraw anonymously from ATMs around the world.
BitPlastic delivers your Bitcoins FAST, never asks for
documents or verification, has no volume limits,
provides a Bitcoin ATM card, enables you to Accept Bitcoin
payments and allows you to sell Bitcoin easily for CASH!

i bet my ass that their fee and overall cost are too prohibitive, it is always the case with those card that offer high anonimity, also many are a scam, they close their service after you fund enough money

you should provide something for trusting this service, because right now it look fishy
14631  Economy / Speculation / Re: How would it affect bitcoin price if the Nasdaq went full bitcoin on: June 26, 2015, 07:38:11 AM
I mean if they start using the blockchain to transfer assets which they are currently trialing now.  And I would assume the trial will be successful.

influencing the price of the market via hype is not that easy as you think, you need a killer app, and this isn 't the case

the other easy way is to buy directly on the market, there are not other available way to do it
14632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs survey on: June 26, 2015, 07:36:47 AM
Thirty-four percent of male respondents and 48% of female respondents said that they were “not too bothered” as long as their service isn’t directly affected.

this is the problem their are not incentivated enough to use it, they are like those that are still stuck with windows xp, and do not see any reason to switch to seven or windows 8.1

i think some of those don't even know how bitcoin work, or they could switch to it, because it will mean for them less time to wait for TX so less cost and more security, vs fiat circuit

14633  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any genuine cloud mining company on: June 26, 2015, 07:32:12 AM

still they are far away from being even remotely profitable, their fees is tremendous

genuine cloud i know are only bit-x and hashnest

about that.. I just saw hashnet and hashnets when on google.. are they the same company or what?

don't click on the ann thing on google when you search, there were cases of pishing website

the real one isn't the first, better  to bookmark their webpage

still they are far away from being even remotely profitable, their fees is tremendous

genuine cloud i know are only bit-x and hashnest

I've been using bit-x for a while now, they're good because you have a 0% trade fee ATM + you can invest small amounts... Their ROI is a bit on the high side, but they seem really trustworthy to me, so i use them anyways  Smiley

yeah their new promotion with zero fee until september is great, should encourage more users to join their train

i was planning to invest, but the roi is too long with the current diff
14634  Other / Off-topic / Re: The craziest shit you can buy with bitcoins right now? on: June 26, 2015, 07:30:33 AM
something that i would find hilarious would be, paying taxes with a untraceable payment, like bitcoin will be in the future, at least i hope so
14635  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 26, 2015, 07:28:25 AM
litecoin...can be hold for long term investments

litecoin for long-term? honestly, instead of BTC, there is no other crypto for long-term and I don't think, that there will be any..

i know that bitcoin is the king, but it is always nice to have a back up, and many alternatives, one never know

actually i like more dash than litecoin, at least it come with rig signature and it offer something besides being a pure clone..., and saying that it is a clone of monero is not even correct, because monero is a clone of bytecoin...
14636  Economy / Economics / Re: Making Bitcoin safer for the mainstream...could be catalyst for growth! on: June 26, 2015, 07:26:11 AM
we can find a compromise abount anonimity and regulation, it can be solved in some ways, via sidechain for example, who want to not be tracked will use the anonymous chain or via altcoin like dash(not the x11 version)

so you regulate bitcoin but who want to preserve his privacy will just go with the altcoin way

then they will probably want to regulate other chain too, but seeing how they are niche chain, i don't think they will bother, and anyway they can not do nothing to it
14637  Economy / Economics / Re: Cameroon Government Is Trying To Rip Off Citizens Via Centralized Altcoin? on: June 26, 2015, 07:20:37 AM
this will only strengthen the trust on bitcoin, so kudos to them, it is the best publicity that bitcoin can get

governments try to scam us via altcoin---> better to use bitcoin, many will think

What does it mean by run by "volunteers"? Miners do not get block reward for hashing? There will not be enough good-willed volunteers to secure the network. It will be easy to organise a 51% attack and citizen's money will be at risk! How can a government be so careless? They should have consultants who foresees this.

they do not have the money to cover the network security, so they will recruit volunteers, that will mine their scamcoin, which is worthless so no one will mine it, unless they offer them something

14638  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: June 26, 2015, 07:17:57 AM
I think there are 20% percent of Bitcoin lost forever.
there are 14.3 million bitcoin in circulation right now so 20% is equal to 2860000BTC
you are claiming that there are 686 million dollar worth of bitcoin lost?

care to explain why you think that?

i don't know it seems a bit random, but if you look at this http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2013/nov/27/hard-drive-bitcoin-landfill-site

he only lost 7500, and it was a big lost already, but still tiny in comparison to 20% of the toal coins

i'm guessing if someone lost more than that, he would have revealed it like this guy did(but there aren't any other major news of many coins being lost), so the overall estimate of coin lost, it is very overrated i believe...
14639  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Why are there no legitimate HYIPs? on: June 26, 2015, 07:08:47 AM
There is, called money printing, but only exclusively provided for the banking class. Or, if you are very close to your banker friend, you should also have some HYIP to invest in

there is a form of money printing in the cryptoworld, it is called make your own altcoin with your own blockchain and premine it, then repeat, it's probably not working anymore like in th eold way, but it was very akin to what banking do
14640  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any genuine cloud mining company on: June 26, 2015, 07:05:14 AM
try cex.io ...... I know it's the only genuine cloud mining company ...... others all are basically ponzi schemes  Huh

Cex.io stopped mining a few months ago, since prices are down. Did they start again, recently?

no they didn't.

to OP
no I don't think there's any genuine cloud mining company. but we'll never know that for sure until we get scammed.

still they are far away from being even remotely profitable, their fees is tremendous

genuine cloud i know are only bit-x and hashnest
