It is getting increasingly difficult to live in my country (India). Here only around 1% of the population pays income tax and these people are subsidizing the remaining 99%. The farmers don't have to pay any tax, and I see them showing off their wealth in the form of expensive jewelry and sports cars. I want to live in some country where the tax load is more uniform.

We need gun control to reduce the violence because eeven civilian person can carried guns now a days.for me police or military person can carry gun and they can protect civilians
Police and military may not be able to protect you every time, as in most of the nations there is less than 1 policeman for every 1,000 people. Also, you need to remember that strict background checks are in place for civilians who want to own guns and most of the gun violence result from illegal, rather than legal guns.

This has happened since the industrial revolution that builds energy sources derived from coal, petroleum and gases that dispose of gases in the atmosphere, such as carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O).
The industrial revolution started in the 18th century. But the climate change wasn't noticed until the 1970s or so. The gas emissions before that were not very significant. The issue worsened only during the 1970s, when the burning of fossil fuels reached a peak.

Some seismic stuff going on in the DMZ: http://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-asia-43903305For the first time ever, the North Korean leader crossed on to South Korea, to meet the RoK president. There are indications that Kim Jong Un may visit Seoul in future.

The problem with these small island nations is that they will be powerless against the super-powers such as the United States and Russia. If the US asks them to freeze the bank accounts or even to deport someone, then do you really think that these people will be having the balls to say no?

In my opinion Obama was a really good president of USA at least because he could withdraw most of the troops from Iraq
Anyone could have done that. But what Obama did was he withdrew the troops from Iraq, even before the job was complete. And as a result of this stupidity the ISIS captured 75% of the Iraqi territory within the next few years. And you are crediting Obama for this blunder?

This list was made more than five years ago. Since then, a large number of the alts disappeared without a trace and many new ones came to the picture. If I am not wrong, right now there are somewhere between 5,000 and 5,500 different coins and tokens which are traded on various exchanges. If you add the dead coins, then the number may cross 10,000.

I'd prefer Ethereum, at least for the next 1-2 years. There is no doubt that NEO is technologically more advanced when compared to Ethereum. But at the same time, NEO is no way near ETH as far as popularity is concerned. And in the crypto-world, nothing matters more than the popularity and acceptability.
|
|
|
Today the best investment coin for me is eth. Maybe still neo a good coin. It is better to hold these coins for a long term.
You can hold Bitcoins for long-term, but you need to be more careful with altcoins. If you are investing in alts , then I'd recommend only keeping a small part as long-term investment. These coins are really volatile and you never know for how long they are going to last.
|
|
|
I find this statement really weird. The last time I checked the altcoins (including Bitcoin forks such as Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold and Super-Bitcoin) accounted for 62% of all the crypto-market capitalization, with Bitcoin accounting for the remaining 38%. If they were dying, then this proportion would have been much lower.
|
|
|
As of now, I am holding most of my ETH as long-term investment. I am using small fractions as transaction fee, in order to sell some of the tokens which I received from bounty campaigns. Other than that, all the ETH coins are safe in my cold storage wallet.

Hi guys,
Let's say you have 100 000$ CAD to invest in cryptocurrency, would you invest in mining operations or buying coins? Medium-scale mining is some-what profitable now with currencies such as Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. But at the same time, you need to keep some of the important things in mind. The next block reward halving is supposed to occur in less than two years. If the exchange rates remain the same, then the profits may decline.

XRP has disgraced itself due to its association with mainstream banks. I would never consider XRP as a "true" crypto-currency. The concept of Ripple goes against the vision of Satoshi Nakamoto. So the obvious choice between Ripple and Ethereum is going to be the latter.

@Baofeng. Fedor did not make a lot of money I reckon. Most MMA fighters of his era were not paid as high as they are paid in the UFC these days.
I expect Conor's retirement after making another $100 million from fighting Khabib and Nate Diaz hehe.
$100 million is still quite small when you compare those to the earnings by professional boxers such as Floyd Mayweather and Gennady Golovkin. According to the latest stats, career earnings by Mayweather is well over $1 billion. And I really doubt whether Conor will get $100 million from two fights. My guess is much lower.

He stepped down as a captain today and announced that Delhi Daredevils Skipper, Shreyas Iyer will now lead the team in the tournament. That's quite a turn around for Delhi.
This was a very unwelcome step. Right now, I'd say that Gambhir's form as a batsman is not that great, but his captaincy is still very good. Now see what they are doing. They are making the inexperienced Sreyas Iyer the captain, which will add unwanted pressure on him.

You need to ignore the short-term swings and concentrate on the general trend. The trend as of now is overwhelmingly positive. During the past one week, the prices have increased from around $7,500 per coin to somewhere around $9,000 per coin. The altcoins are also showing a similar trend.

will be on the ban if bitcoin is often used for evil by people who are not responsible such as the corruptor, etc.
In that case, fiat currency should be also banned. Don't you think so? Physical cash is the currency of choice for the 99% of the criminals, including those who indulge in pedophilia, kidnappings and online bank robberies. A lot of evil people are using fiat currency. So let's ban the fiat currency first.

Ive read an article about Bill Gates saying that cryptocurrencies kills people. He explained that crypto provokes people to hide thier financial transactions from the government, and revolutionizing terrorism, financial crime etc. Some people use crypto to buy drugs, bombs, guns that are use for drug dealing and terrorism that kills people 'in a fairly direct way' I think Gates is somehow right about this. But i think it depends on the people who are using cryptocurrency, if they will use it in a good way or in a bad way. What do you think? Link: https://www.google.com.ph/search?source=hp&ei=MJaWWv70CoH-8QXDvLO4Bg&q=cryptocurrency#scso=uid_PpaWWoLdHISa0gTusbDYDg_9:117Seems like Bill Gates is butt-hurt that he missed the crypto train. And he is no saint either. When he was the chairman and CEO of Microsoft, he filed a lot of lawsuits against smaller companies for breach of patent. This in turn destroyed the livelihoods of a lot of people.

Already the altcoins are worth more than Bitcoin. Look at the market capitalization. Out of the $390 billion crypto market cap, Bitcoin accounts for only $150 billion (38.4%). The altcoins accounts for the remaining $240 billion or 61.6%. Of this, ETH accounts for $61 billion and XRP is at $31 billion.

In a few days, we will be reaching $15000 again. Those who sold dont know the game.
Yeah.. only you know the game. Bitcoin will not go up solely because of keyboard warriors like you. It needs a solid trigger and a significant increase in the demand, if the exchange rates are to cross the $10,000 per coin level. And there are chances that this may not happen until 2019 or even 2020.
