14722  Other / Meta / Re: + 2000 Activity & + 2000 Merit on: March 05, 2020, 02:33:50 AM
OP/LFC, did you start out (with the merit system) as a legendary?

Getting 1000 merit is quite the accomplishment, one that hasn’t been done by many people. I hope to have 2000 merit on QS soon so I can join the club.

I started as Legendary yes my friend so had the 1000 airdrop. I prefer to say I have 27xx though Smiley
Closing in on 3000 (but yeah, I know it’ll be 2000 earned & 1000 airdropped then).

It seems tougher to receive Merit atm than it used to be. Maybe I’ve become a shit poster Grin

There is no " become" about it.

Your first 1000's of posts are one liner speculative shit posts. Guessing on sports betting, bitcoin price and memes. Those would likely be case for a ban now.

I looked through your last 5 pages of posts and nothing but the same garbage shit posts?

Are we looking at the same account? this is one of the very worst uses of forum resources I have ever gone through.

Pure unadulterated garbage? shitpost on top of shitpost?

This is a serious challenge. Bring forth just 10 of your very best " original thought provoking posts"  that really had some impact and challenged  or created some significant change.
These back slapping circle jerkers and sycophants are nauseating. Either they are all retarded enough to believe you're a valuable poster or they are trolling you.

Let me be the voice of reason and truth that reveals you are pumping out pure shit and once you accept that your bag of cycled merits is not to be conflated with the notion of valuable poster or valuable member. Then I can get to work on sending you off on the correct path.

That may all sound like harsh criticism but I was holding back. A true friend must at times bring some semblance of reality when all around you are allowing you to humiliate yourself for their amusement.
Come my friend, I will help you bake the finest cake possible given the very limited ingredients you have. You will soon make posts worthy of merit, if only but once per year.

It is important that some members attempt to inject some truth into these threads. Most just want to smirk and add their fake congratulations and cheers. All along just wanting the odd merit morsel here and there, or to join the Meta merit club.

A true friend tells you how it really is.
2000 wasted merits.  Sad

damn this is well written which means I will now spend the next few days reading his posts to see how accurate you are.
14723  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S17pro vs S17+ vs T17 vs T17e (Temperature) on: March 05, 2020, 02:30:18 AM
mikeywith has a point so if you open the t17 to drop a board.

you could look for dirt or a bug 🐜 clogging a spot and overheating 🥵 the unit.

if it is all clean pull the board,  or use aftermarket firmware.

2 more shots at full hash

and 1 shot at 2/3 hash.
14724  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S17pro vs S17+ vs T17 vs T17e (Temperature) on: March 04, 2020, 04:06:17 PM
I have 2 units of T17 that won’t mine due to overheating on the hottest time of the day. I think both units has a bad chip that is running hotter than the rest which resulted the fans to spin at max rpm  just to cool down that particular chip. Even at night the fan is spinning close to 6000rpm whereas others are doing 3000-4000rpm.

You could disconnect the bad board and get 2 of 3  boards to work.
14725  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: ckpool.org ZERO FEE SPLNS no registration mining pool US/DE/CN on: March 04, 2020, 02:37:01 PM

14726  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: ckpool.org ZERO FEE SPLNS no registration mining pool US/DE/CN on: March 04, 2020, 01:46:12 PM

keeps crashing

I put up a t15 lets see if it works

philipma - I had a similar issue with a s15 where it would crash (die with 0 hashrate).. It was due to power requirements in my case
as setting it to their low power mode made it run perfectly fine..   I removed another miner off that line and its running fine.  You
may want to play around and see if that maybe is your issue also.

Not the case as it runs on other websites.

I have the T15 working fine.  I will add another piece of gear today.

I just added an s15  I will look in a bit to see if it works.

I am number 8

hash should move me to number 6

pool has crept past 1.76ph
14727  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 2020 Democrats on: March 04, 2020, 04:20:14 AM
I don't understand how people are willing to vote for Biden. Then again I struggle to see why Trump became president.

If everyone in the electorate saw this video I think Bernie would win:

Title:
'Super Creep' | Joe Biden Creepy Clips Compilation 2019 | Parody Song
Description:
Joe Biden being a creep
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKJYPBNB1Yk

I've seen better compilations than that too. If I had a daughter and Joe did that to her I'd probably punch him and go to jail.

Then there's the fact that his brain is melting:

Title:
Joe Biden - 17 Minutes Of Joe's Melting Brain
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADDrSvNyqEY

Then there's the fact that Obama didn't even endorse him.
Then there's all the lies and fake stories he constantly tells.

If Biden wins the nom, I think it will be even worse than 2016.

Hillary Clinton at least had the gimmick that she would be the first woman. One of the few things that made me almost stop supporting Bernie was when he endorsed Hillary. I lost a lot of respect for him, but I see his side too, Trump has been a disaster.

The only reason Biden has a chance of winning is the lies that are propagated through the media. A sea of lies. Lies everywhere. Even on the Internet. Politifact is part of that too. Their "fact checks" are wrong when it comes to Bernie vs Biden which is disturbing.

Edit: deleting unnecessary words

Hillary admitted to the email deletions pretty much why Trump won.

Biden bent rules to get his loser son a job. While stupid while wrong most likely it will be less harmful then Hillary deleting the emails.

Personally I liked Bernie and Andrew Yang.

Not going to be . Oh well.
14728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: what does my share need to be to find a LTC block? on: March 04, 2020, 04:06:14 AM
I am seeing that network diff is 6,404,536.6

and my best share on three of my L3+ are:

1,075,611,604 on 1st
5,916,014,328 on a 2nd
17,863,182,659 on a 3rd

all three are solo mining on ViaBTC but have "found" no blocks

I thought the share just needed to be higher than network diff - so, what am I missing?

not sure but does the 17,863,182,659 show 1 block made?
14729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: March 04, 2020, 01:37:48 AM

14730  Other / Meta / Re: Top helpers of this forum on: March 04, 2020, 01:34:48 AM
mikeywith posts endless help for miners with issues.

surprised he was left out.

I would mention myself but It would not be true for 2020 and 2019.

although I did a lot of help for people from 2013 to 2017.
14731  Other / Meta / Re: What if BitcoinTalk forum dissapears on: March 04, 2020, 01:30:31 AM
Okay I would move on to a new forum. It would suck but I would survive.

If all mining stopped and no more cryptocoins I would be really hurt.
Far more pain then this forum going away.
14732  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S17pro vs S17+ vs T17 vs T17e (Temperature) on: March 03, 2020, 10:45:38 PM
2 t17e were terrible   3330  and 3400.   So I said fuck it and did not buy any more of them

1 t17+ drops a  board over  and over again.

these were the worst 3 units bitmain sold to me  in 2019

say
 4 s9k's
 2  t17
 1  s17
14 s17pros maybe 15

and the 3 above.

I am not complaining or bitter  it is just that those 3 are the worst.

every other piece of gear mentioned above was good  or better then good.

21 good or better then good
2 17e  pull 6730 watts vs 6230

1 t17+ has a bad board.
14733  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S17pro vs S17+ vs T17 vs T17e (Temperature) on: March 03, 2020, 06:03:41 PM
My t17e's were far worse  3400

but my s17pro 50th
and my s17pro 53th

were close to an exact match.
14734  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mmpool.org - 1.5% fee DGM/PPS - tx fees/vardiff/merge mine/tor on: March 03, 2020, 02:48:53 PM

14735  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S17pro vs S17+ vs T17 vs T17e on: March 03, 2020, 02:44:47 PM
I do know why.  when i go back to clifton I will try to do it.
14736  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The US, Corona Virus, and 5G on: March 03, 2020, 02:37:46 PM

World affairs are really interesting at the moment.

One thing that has come out of the news about the Corona Virus is that the bulk of the pharmaceuticals used in the US are manufactured in China, or use Chinese components. This leaves the US population vulnerable to long term damage to their health. This may have already happened, as I understand that over 70% of the US population is unsuitable for military service due to health problems. This seems to be tolerated, and even encouraged. On the other hand the possible use of 5G equipment manufactured in China has created massive disruption to trade. This is despite the fact that Chinese microprocessors are being used in advanced military equipment such as fighter jets.

wtf are you talking about?

70% of the usa is too sick to be in the military.

first off the usa military in well under 9,000,000 people.  which is only 3% of the country’s population.

second   are you counting kids and older people?

or are you counting 17 to 30 age which is the age required to enlist.

I doubt that 70% of people in that group are too sick to join the military.
I will say 70% of the people in that group most likely are not in the military .

Since there is only 9 million or less people in the Military.

About 50,000,000 people are 17 to 30 in the usa.

9 million of that is 18%. leaving 41million or 82%  not in the military.

most likely your remark is a corrupted version of the numbers above.

I can honestly say BADecker made a rational reply to your post.

Since your numbers are so far off it could be more likely he is correct then you are correct.

70% too sick to join the military jeesh.  think man don’ t spout bs.

14737  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S17pro vs S17+ vs T17 vs T17e on: March 03, 2020, 02:25:16 PM
To add a bit of info would help.

I know the watts used per th on my s17 pros is around 36 or 37 a th.

and using  the same pro on normal it gets about 39-40 watts a th.

So watts used would be nice.
14738  Other / Meta / Re: Can you create a signature campaign for OP posts? on: March 03, 2020, 04:35:07 AM
http://
Yes you can.
No you shouldn't.

It's going to be fun though: if OP creates spam, the whole thread including all replies can be trashed at once.

Which would annoy the heck out of me as I sometimes spend an hour creating a post with lots of content and photos.

So rather then post to a trash able thread 🧵 I would skip it completely or do a lesser post.

I often do not do a truly all out solid post on a topic in mining ⛏ as I know that the thread is iffy or gray.

meaning i could be deleted along with  the whole thread.

It fact I wrote a longer more well thought out post here in meta spent maybe ten to fifteen minutes doing it only to find topic vanished.

This really gets annoying .
