For this to be done, exchanges would have to implement a HUGE amount of trading pairs, which is probably quite irrelevant since those lower-ranked coins has a significantly lower percentage of people using them. People mostly use BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, and XRP; hence the reason why these coins are used in trading pairs.

First off, nothing is 100% secure and unhackable.
Some hardware wallets like the Ledger Nano S are open source(idk about Trezor), so people will know if they do some shady stuff. and no, they don't keep a backup of our seed on their servers. Hardware wallets aren't 100% secure, but it's one of the most secure options out there(along with paper wallets, but only if made in a secure manner).

Finally, after the end of the maintaince I got my dogecoin in my yobit wallet. Thanks to everyone for helping.
It'd probably best if next time you actually read and understand the warning message indicated on the website instead of panicking immediately. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Thanks for the good advices, I'd like to add to all newbies watching training videos about crypto trading and etc.. I wachtd some good in youtube ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I suggest that you don't go in to trading immediately. As you said you wouldn't want to have an initial investment, so how would you trade with no funds? Start by studying about crypto in general, then go in to bounties and airdrops to get your initial funds.

It says it's under maintenance. It doesn't say that the owners ran away to a far-away island to enjoy the coins and tokens they stole from their users.
Then again, does it ever say that? But in all honesty, even if YoBit doesn't run away with your money -- you should find another exchange. YoBit is filled with shitty scam coins and they are known for having a horrible support team. Go to an exchange that is reputable, such as Binance. The second sentence on my reply was obviously sarcasm. My point was just to tell OP that the reason why he/she doesn't have access to his/her coins is because the exchange is under maintenance maintenance, and that he/she will not lose his/her coins because you guessed it, IT'S UNDER MAINTENANCE.

7. The maximum reserves of crypto currency that have ever existed
7. The maximum reserves of crypto currency that have ever existed will ever exist. The grammatical error in that part changes the meaning entirely. Saying "that have ever existed" would probably imply that the 21 whole million already exists(even though we're only currently at 17 million[1]).

I don't think photoshopping his identification cards to match his name registered on his account is the best move. Probably try contacting Bittrex about this issue? They MIGHT be able to change your friend's name registered on his account.

Good guide here, i like realistic part of it. More people should create quality guides, that help others.
Hope you won't stop here in creating content.
The thing is, you don't even need to make quality guides. You could just make quality replies that could greatly contribute to the topic/conversation. Some newbies probably think that you could earn merits only through guides, hence you see some "guides" being posted that are quite generic and with broken english.

I never thought that we could still recover our account if in case it got stolen. Thanks for this. You can. It's just that it's probably going to take a few weeks before you get a reply, due to bitcointalk having so much members and the admins being probably really busy.

What I have is an old post that has my real name is, and my location. I can send proof of ID to get my account back.
Why would you post your real name and location in public though. ![Lips sealed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/lipsrsealed.gif) But anyway, on the bright side I guess you could send personal identification proof instead. Just send a PM to Cyrus: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=78147

I use shapeshift for several times, they're legit. But, sometime you will get some delay (about 1-3 hours in my case), not a big deal for me. I don't think they're expensive, since they're legit and reputable. On my coinomi wallet, there's another instant exchanger called Changelly, i personally never use it before. But, since its on coinomi, i think they're legit. Never heard about cryptoket. I also personally thought Changelly was like as reputable as Shapeshift. But then good thing I did a bit of research on their feedback: Was the reports legit? I don't know. But I'd personally play it safe and use good-ol shapeshift instead. High fees? I'm fine with that as I'm sure I'm going to actually receive my coins/tokens.

There is no "best exchange" for ICOs, as they're being listed on various exchanges. Exchange A might accept coin X and not coin Y and exchange B might accept coin Y and not coin X, and vice versa.
And like what AdolfinWolf said, why not buy the coins/tokens straight from their ICO site? Why would you need to use an exchange?

Yeah, that one cool-looking bitcoin wallet being advertised here on bitcointalk? Yeah, their web wallet sends your mnemonic phrase to their servers, as claimed by Daniel Staudigel. Not only do they send the mnemonic to the server, they store the mnemonic (or a hash of it, but I’m guessing not) on their servers. This is either stratospherically irresponsible or Lumi is a scam wallet aiming to steal everyone’s funds at some point in the future. I haven’t been able to look into how their mobile wallets work, as I don’t have the time to do it the right way (root a phone, blah blah blah) — though I did verify they are at least using strong SSL to send your money to their servers, so at least the guy sitting next to you in Starbucks can’t steal your money… but that’s a small consolation when you’ve just sent your crown jewels to be stored by some faceless web service with zero transparency (though they have lots of blog posts with nebulous claims of security!)
It’s only a matter of time before the CEO, a rogue employee, or a hacker sweeps through the database and collects every penny of every Lumi wallet user. Link to medium post: https://medium.com/@dandisagrees/a0cf1dd70fd0

This should answer your question: >A wallet is smaller than a purse and can fit inside a purse. >A wallet is a small flat case designed to hold cash, credit cards and identification documents such as driver’s licence, etc. a purse apart from holding currency also carries other paraphernalia such as a woman’s personal items, etc. >A purse is a fashion accessory that has been fashionably designed. A wallet is more practical and convenience based. source: https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-difference-between-a-wallet-and-a-purse-Are-they-gender-specific
