Okay so i have 2 Radeon 5770 and a 5850 running on my 800w psu and it works fine but when i try to add a another 5850 it crashes is there any way to run the other card without buying another psu

You could try undervolting.  Or use two PSU's.

I am running on I7-4770 win 8 64bit system.

About 50% of the shares are rejected by the server, is it normal?

Rejections are a decent amount.  Ive had like 400 out of 1100 rejected.  Nice to have a pool.  Its only going to get better.
14745  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official TerraHash refund request thread on: July 18, 2013, 12:28:08 AM
well, I finally got my refund today via paypal, terrahash didnt even bother replying to the claim.

glta

They never responded to mine either, just threatened me in email to close it.

Luckily started mine a while back so have my refund as well.  I jumped ship when they never provided video they promised in a day.   Will be going with a different company or group to get it for sure.

Thanks BBK for all your hard work and making this were multiple ways to get!
14746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XPM] Primecoin GPU Miner on: July 17, 2013, 11:10:00 AM
if there is a gpu mining program, it will kill primecoin. any primecoin fans will lose.

gpu miners didn't kill litecoin, I doubt they will kill primecoin.

Agree totally, it will perhaps smash the price to the floor temporarily, just like how it happened when michaelh released the optimised client, but very soon the price will go back to its deserving level, which I think is in the 0.005-7 ball mark, unless this thing gets released on BTC-e.com, then crazy things can happen, perhaps up to 0.02?

Then again, it's the botnet that wins the most, not CPU miner atm, unless GPU mining comes out.

So in general GPU mining actually means more adoption, since the Botnet operators won't be able to cheaply sell their stash of XPM, which means in general it's more profitable for everyone else' to mine this thing.
Why is it everyone assumes a bot-net couldn't run off a GPU?, its only software and there are plenty of bot-nets out there that have update facilities and remote management.

All computer that are part of a botnet have a CPU, not all computers that are part of a botnet have a decent graphics card.  I doubt a GPU botnet is very feasible.
14747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XPM] [FASTER!] Mining PrimeCoin using DigitalOcean (VPS) on: July 17, 2013, 10:25:21 AM
Try with :
cd ~/mikaelh2-primecoin/src.

Someone else is having difficulty with their VPS on Digital OCean?
All my SSH connections dropped.
Maybe a Hardware failure, or a DDOS.

Check your DO account on website sounds like they want u to be verified.
14748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM]unofficial jhPrimeminer thread on: July 17, 2013, 10:18:47 AM

My VPM miners are going down Sad.  You are welcome as well.

No blocks = No fun

Anybody know what god to pray to in order to mine a block? I'm thinking I've got the wrong one

Time to start doing pooled mining. yPool had a bit of a drought when I first started yesterday, but is now finding lots of blocks.

Hey Salfter. Could you post a screenshot from the v.0.2.1 miner?

Screenshot? What about the src Smiley

Anyone tried ypool?  It seems to function.  Just wondering if anyone has withdrew from it yet?

I canceled my paypal dispute. I'm now commited for this purchase.

I would take a look at your order page on TH's site.  Once u open a dispute it automatically goes to refunded on thier system.....

14752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XPM] Primecoin GPU Miner on: July 16, 2013, 02:31:28 PM
I also would be willing to make a deal for my rigs with 7970's and 7950's (normally work great with scrypt).  You get majority shares for using my rigs during it being private.
14753  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike 1 Avalon Asic chip Mini USB miner on: July 16, 2013, 09:57:28 AM
What speed can u get it up to on overclocking?
14754  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Power supply for 1x7950 + i7 4770k on: July 16, 2013, 08:54:19 AM
200 W for GPU + 84 W for CPU, adding up mobo, RAMs, fans i guess a quality 500 W PSU will be sufficient to run this rig. Am i right?

Yes can go pretty low on amazon as low as 22ish. Logisys Corp. 550W
14755  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TerraHash Avalon Assembly (US based) (Reserve your spot with 5%) on: July 16, 2013, 06:25:56 AM
READ TH's other and see how hard it is to get a refund from them.  Be careful with your investments, and chips.
14756  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hubs for Block Erupter USB AsicMiner on: July 16, 2013, 05:33:31 AM
Do you have any pictures to give us a idea of what it looks like?  Is it very similar to Anker hub?

14760  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Any interest in a 20-port USB hub for K1 / Erupters? on: July 16, 2013, 12:59:02 AM
Hmm, why don't just use all things you have around in the house?
I have an Netbook lying around doing nothing = 3 ports
PC (24/7 on): 15 slots
PC (24/7 on): 7 slots

And if you use such things, you dont even need to spend 50$ on a Pi + 100$ on USB Hubs, you have to think economical, not what looks best.
If i'd had 20 Erupters, I'd jst use up all the USB ports I currently have, and not spend 100$ on hubs.. (It saves alot of ROI)

Low power usage is one of the big things with these.  If every computer is on kills lower power, and profit.
