14781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: April 24, 2018, 01:20:53 AM
yes, what is the reason why I do not believe in ICO? because I think ICO gives me a big profit.

You "think" that the ICOs gives you big profit. But there is no guarantee that it is always going to happen. A lot of con artists have jumped in to the ICO scene lately and the overall reputation has taken a hit. That doesn't mean that you need to stay away from the ICOs. All I am saying is that you need to be more careful while investing in them.
14782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple the currency of the future? on: April 24, 2018, 01:16:25 AM
Ripple is a heavily manipulated coin, which is supported by some of the major banks and financial heavy-weights. It may become the currency of the future, but there is no chance that it will become the future crypto-currency.
14783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future? on: April 24, 2018, 01:14:41 AM
The main skeleton is bitcoin and bitcoin cannot pass any altcoin

Don't be too sure about that. In 2015, Bitcoin had almost 90% of the crypto-market dominance. This figure has come down to 38% as of now and the trend is downwards. So there is a real chance of another coin overtaking Bitcoin in the future.
14784  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kill Syrians because Syrians are killing Syrians... on: April 23, 2018, 02:14:28 AM
Violence can never be a solution to any social problem. The Syrians need to wake up to the gravity of the situation bringing in suitable solutions.

The Syrians are completely helpless. Their nation is being invaded by foreign powers and they are forcibly being recruited in to the global Sunni vs Shiite war. It is no longer a "Syrian"problem. The UN needs to act, but as long as it remains a toothless organization controlled by the NATO, that is not going to help.
14785  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Theresa May says parliament approval isn't required to go to war on: April 23, 2018, 02:11:32 AM
Is England capable of waging a direct one-to-one war against Syria? I don't think so. The glory days of the British colonial empire are over and people like Theresa May hasn't realized this very important fact. The strength of the British Armed Forces have dipped below 100,000 and they are incapable of defeating even small nations such as Maldives and Cambodia.

Well, not at that point. They could defeat weak nations which have a week army, they could stands against Russia for 24 hours but they will not surrender that easy like their neighbour.
Nuclear weapons may make things more in their favours if it didn't already exposed before launch time.

Theoretically, they "could" defeat weak nations with their army. But the big question is whether May will take that risk of sending the major part of her army to invade these weak nations, while exposing the United Kingdom to attacks by the foreign powers such as Russia?
14786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: April 23, 2018, 02:08:48 AM
Of the 3 candidates you mentioned, I doubt France. I personally doubt the quality of France has long even in the Euro yesterday as well. If for Germany, they are the strongest candidates, player quality is evenly distributed in every position.

I agree with you. France has little chance of lifting the world cup this time. I have checked various betting sites and the favorites seems to be Brazil, followed by Germany. Some of the betting sites such as Skybet has given equal odds for both Brazil and Germany (9/2).
14787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 23, 2018, 02:06:27 AM
The ongoing IPL Armageddon has meant that the other tournaments going on around the world receive little attention. The ICC World T20 qualifiers for West Asia region is underway. Anyone interested? Right now, UAE is leading with 2 wins out of 2 matches.
14788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL( Indian Premier League) Prediction Thread, 2018. on: April 23, 2018, 02:03:58 AM
But however this idea works better. Today Raina batting is not up to the mark to speak. To say exactly he wasted the 7 overs and made 52 runs on the board for him. Then after he reached 40 runs he did not played for team at all.
He looks to safeguard him to make the half century.
I think sam billings came on the place of Raina. We may find the better score on the board. CSK won however now no need worry at all.

Raina just ruined his career with that pathetic display. IPL is not like ODI cricket. In ODI, you can waste 20-30 balls and still lead your team to victory. But IPL is different. If you waste 20 balls, then your team will lose the match.
14789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 223: Nurmagomedov vs ??? Info Prediction, MCGREGOR ATTACKS BUS LOL! on: April 23, 2018, 02:01:48 AM
If the fight is in Russia, then I am afraid that Conor McGregor will be going back to Dublin in an ambulance (either dead or alive). Nurmagomedov is invincible in home conditions and it will be fun if the fight actually happens in Grozny.
Edit: Just remembered that Nurmagomedov is an Avar from Dagestan. He won't be very keen to fight in Grozny.... What about Makhachkala as the venue?
I really cannot imagine the beating Khabib Nurmagomedov is going to give to McGregor, but the problem is i never expected him to win against Aldo but he smoked him in seconds and when he was challenging Rafael dos Anjos for the title i was certain that he will smoke McGregor but that fight failed to materialized and finally when it came to Eddie Alvarez i thought he will defeat McGregor but the opposite happened, now my only hope is Khabib and Tony. Cheesy
It would be the biggest fight in history if they fight in Russia, but with things are going it looks like they will face in Madison Square Garden by November, if McGregor really wanted to face Khabib.

Even if the fight is going to happen in Madison Square Garden, I expect Khabib to win. Right now he is in unbelievable form and no matter how talented McGregor is, he is going to have a tough time against the Russian anywhere in the world.
14790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I think this year 1 eth will peak at $ 2000 on: April 23, 2018, 01:57:58 AM
what do people think ??
Once a year reached a new peak, last year was $ 1,500, this year will be $ 2,000 "may"
$2000 is very possible because ethereum has already reached its new ATH $1400+ and of course there will be new ATH in the next months. This year would be the great rise of all digital currency because it is already recognized world wide

How you can say that a new ATH will be reached in the next few months, when the demand is at all time low? Crypto is going through a lean phase now, and I will not expect it to overtake the peaks reached in 2017 this year.
14791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethreum the new king of crypto? on: April 23, 2018, 01:56:05 AM
Hello Folk, is it the time for ethreum to lead from the front ? As bitcoin is going through rough ride along with other altcoins but ethreum is turning out to be more stable platform for investment and also new ICO's are based on ethreum. Do you think Ethreum will dethrone bitcoin from 1st rank of crypto this year?

Ethereum could have led cryptocurrency, because of the service and also the large number of communities, could be the reason for the more developed Ethereum
Ethereum also has the possibility to inspire developers to make changes to cryptocurrency

Ethereum had the chance to lead the crypto community. And it was Vitalik and the other developers who blow away the chance. Reversal of transactions will tarnish the reputation of the crypto forever, and you can't justify it saying that it was necessitated by the hacking of the coins.
14792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite stablecoin?? on: April 23, 2018, 01:53:49 AM
Been seeing a lot of talk about stablecoins lately like this article: https://www.forbes.com/sites/shermanlee/2018/03/12/explaining-stable-coins-the-holy-grail-of-crytpocurrency/#432e3ce84fc6

What do you guys think about them? My personal favorite would be Havven since they're not pegged to fiat or gold and is trustless.
Never used any of these stable-coins. When I need stable coin, I use USD.
I'm trying to stay away from USDT. After reading a lot about it, I can't trust them and I'm really sceptical about it.
Never heard about Havven? Which exchanges have it? I would like to see more information about, because I tried tosearch and didn't found anything.

Yup... I agree with you. Whenever I need to make sure that my investment doesn't go down in value, I just convert them to USD. Tether is going through a lot of problems now. I will not trust that currency until they publish their audit findings.
14793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your 3 most important factors when deciding what cryptocurrency to buy? on: April 23, 2018, 01:52:08 AM
For me, these are the three most important factors:

1. How advanced is the technology behind that particular altcoin
2. The rate of increase in user-base for the last 2-3 months
3. Number of major exchanges in which it is traded
14794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we need to diversify? on: April 23, 2018, 01:36:16 AM
Why do we need to diversify our holdings? why we just all in in one coin to have a one time bigtime profit.

If you invest in just one altcoin, what are the chances of getting a decent profit out of it? May be 5%, or 10% at the most? It sounds too risky for me, as I can't afford to lose my investment. If I am the one who is making the investment, then I'd go for at least 10 different coins.
14795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: April 23, 2018, 01:33:03 AM
I used to think the same when I heard about Ethereum for the first time in 2014. And I lost a good opportunity to multiply my investment by 1,000x due to it. Vitalik and the other ETH developers may be money minded, but the technology they have invented is one of the best out there in the crypto-world.
14796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you say to the younger generation? on: April 23, 2018, 01:30:43 AM
What would you say to the younger generation about how they can change the future world with crypto and blockchain?

We all know some of the benefits of blockchain and crypto.

So, I was wondering, what would you say to your kids or the younger generation about the ways that this tech can change the world for the better? E.g bank the unbanked etc

They (and us) have the power to create a brighter tomorrow.

Cryptos have already changed the world. What the younger generation needs to do is to make cryptos more popular, and make better cryptos backed up with the most advanced technology. If they are able to do that, then the exploitation of the common man by the banks and the government will come to an end.
14797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Buy or Sell now? on: April 23, 2018, 01:28:44 AM
Hold if you are still on losing point as the rally has just started. The price has just started going up and we are expecting the rally to hold on for sometime now. So hold till your profit turns up.

Too early to say whether the current spike will last for sometime or not. But the prices are looking quite attractive even now. If you are in for long-term investing, then you don't need to think twice about it.
14798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I think this year 1 eth will peak at $ 2000 on: April 23, 2018, 01:26:55 AM
This depends on adoption. I feel 3 dollars for a transfer is not going to help. I don't know, the last time I transferred a token it cost me 3 dollars.

I never paid more than $0.10 for transactions in ETH. Are you sure that you are talking about Ethereum? You can set your GWEI to somewhere between 5 and 10, instead of the default one. At the most, you may have to wait for 2-3 minutes extra.
14799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is very good for newbie on: April 23, 2018, 01:11:00 AM
If the noob is having a social media account (such as Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin or Telegram), then bounty programs can be very profitable for him. But even then, he need to chose the right campaign, as many of the campaigns now doesn't pay the participants any bounty.
14800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Crypto Currency? on: April 23, 2018, 01:09:08 AM
I just wanted to  know what are your plans on your cryptocurrency in the future?

Do you plan to keep on investing?
Do you plan to exchange your crypto in fiat and leave crypto?
Will crypto survive?

If you want to profit from your crypto-investments, then you need to convert at least a part of your holdings to fiat. There is no point in holding on to your coins for 3, 5 or 10 years. You need to sell them at one point or the another.
