We rolled out a password reset to lock out the bad guys at midnight on 2nd November UK Time. We had Amazon's team online monitoring network traffic along with our guys.
At the stroke of 12 midnight a HUGE amount of automated traffic hit our servers from thousands of IP addresses.
Amazon got us to shut down the entire system whilst we analysed the network traffic.
Amazon have recommended a significant network infrastructure change which will help to protect the network. The network protection services that Amazon have recommended and are helping configure are currently being applied to the Electroneum services.
The entire team have worked an incredible 26.5 hour solid shift and are now going to be working on it in rotating shifts until it is ready. There are thousands of lines of code to modify or adapt and services that need to be re-written.
Please do not worry - we are taking these steps to ensure your accounts (and thus your ETN) is as secure as possible.
We WILL be delivering our mobile miner and wallet services, as promised. The mobile miner is still revolutionary - and will introduce hundreds of thousands or millions of new users.
We are very sorry for the continued delay, and understand your frustration, we are working as hard as is humanly possible to complete the works and get everyone live so we can get on with the next (exciting) stage of the evolution of Electroneum.
