1481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you most interested in learning about? on: November 29, 2018, 11:30:52 PM
Lets be honest. We want to learn how to earn Bitcoin. There are those who earn Bitcoins by accepting Bitcoins as payment for their services or being paid in Bitcoin for the items they sell online. If you don't have any of those you will most likely dive into trading but trading is not really for everyone. You need to learn how to read charts and those candles.
1482  Economy / Speculation / Re: This year is a total opposite of last year on: November 29, 2018, 11:25:39 PM
What people thinks is that history can repeat it self, I myself thinks that what happened last year may happen this year. it may came late this year. But looking at the reasons of the bull run last year, I don't think we are going to have it anytime soon. No positive news to trigger the market on a bull run and instead negative news are more out there.
1483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat or crypto betting in bear market? on: November 29, 2018, 11:10:08 PM
Want your opinion on this guys.

We are situated in a bear market for some time and with a huge crash happened the past 2 weeks.

Do you guys keep betting with crypto and stack your crypto profits or do you prefer to switch to fiat betting and convert fiat winnings in crypto?
Me personally I love to bet on sports, fiat as well as on crypto platforms. However during the crash I switched to betting on fiat bookies for 90% of my bets.
Profits i make at this moment with fiat bookies i use to buy crypto cause of the cheap prices. those converted profits i deposit on crypto bookies and try to make some profits in crypto as well.

Don't know you share the same strategy or rather stick to fiat and/or crypto bookie as you usually do.
I dont see any huge crash that happened in the past 2 weeks. You need to get used to the price of BTC to drop 20-30% and that's not a huge crash yet. It doesnt matter if its bear market or bull. Just play and don't mind with the exchange rate. If you keep on looking on the exchange rate you will not enjoy gambling because you are worried that the price might continue to go down. Focus on increasing your holdings not on the exchange rate.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What causes a person to become intensely addicted to gambling? on: November 29, 2018, 11:01:32 PM
A person starts to be addicted in gambling when he starts winning and gets used to it. As soon as he starts losing, he tries to recovers his losses. Still setting a target is a good idea in gambling, regardless if its target when you start losing or target when you start winning. You cant win all the time you have to keep that in mind so whenever you win, separate your profits from your capital so you will not go home with an empty pocket.
1485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you stomach the dips? on: November 29, 2018, 10:55:56 PM
Instead of looking at those dips negatively, look at it on a positive way. I remember reading somewhere that if see the price of Bitcoin dropped, buy more, if you the price of Bitcoin dropped some more, then buy more. Look at what happened last Monday and Tuesday, price of BTC dropped 16% but recovers after 48 hours. Think positive and don't panic.
1486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I daily earn 10% on: November 29, 2018, 10:50:53 PM
Earning 10% is possible but earning 10% daily and consistently thats going to hard. One way or the other you will find or face a day where finding a good coin to trade is hard. On weekends like Friday, Saturday and Sunday, its hard to trade since most are not active on those days so expect that you will not hit your target on those days.
1487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I fail in trading on: November 29, 2018, 10:45:18 PM
Aside from learning and reading, you need to apply what you read and learned. You need to make actual trades and there's nothing wrong if you commit any mistake. What I did when I was new is wrote everything in note book, whatever mistake I made so that I can read it again and avoid the same mistake. Learn how to read charts, its something that you cant get away if you plan to trade. You can't just rely on hunch or on what others are doing. Try to do your own research.
1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to trade during red market? on: November 29, 2018, 10:32:02 PM
If its bear market and almost all coins are in red, I will not even dare buy or sell any of my crypto assets but instead I will just hold on to whatever I have and wait till the market starts to recover. Those who are good with trading can survive and earn in what they call scalping but the risk is very high specially if you know that market is not doing well at that time.
1489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning to trade on: November 28, 2018, 11:59:22 PM
What you want want to do is learn to trade, not learn to read and comprehend. If you keep on reading without actuall trading, you cant apply anything that you learned from what you have just read. Don't be afraid to commit mistakes. You are on track with trading on small amounts, its like a hit and miss.
1490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trade Vs long trade on: November 28, 2018, 11:53:32 PM
There's are times when you day trade you have to shift to long trade specially if the price went down and you don't want to let go of your coins yet so what will happen is you will hold on a little longer price may go back to its previous price or maybe even higher just like what happened this week.
1491  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Bitcoin at this moment is right? on: November 28, 2018, 11:46:52 PM
Depends on how much risk you wan't to take. Lets say for instance last Tuesday price of Bitcoin is down at $3,600 if you Buy at that price that would give you a gain of 16% already by now since price of Bitcoin is up at $4,200 and that happened in just 48 hours but again it depends on how much risk you want to take. People think price will continue to slide till $3,000.
1492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Lose Hope Just Yet on: November 28, 2018, 11:41:49 PM
Don't be like someone I know who is kicking himself by know for selling his Bitcoins when price went to $3,600 last Tuesday and now 48 hours later price is back at $4,183. That's a loss of 16%. If he hold on a little longer and did not read to those "Bitcoin will Die" threads his money is still at same price.
1493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: November 28, 2018, 11:29:19 PM
It's not game over yet but actually the game is on. It's up to you and everyone who holds Bitcoin if they want to remain in the game or get out. I've seen Bitcoin price goes up and down like a roller coaster and price goes down up to 40% so whats happening today is nothing new. If your faint hearted, then Bitcoin is not for you.
1494  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: buy some, sell some, and hold some on: November 22, 2018, 11:56:59 PM
Sell some when the price goes down and buy another coin with potential to cut losses. Same when you hit your goal and you see price will continue to go up, Sell some so you lock in your profits and you still have more chances of getting profits if price continue to go up.
1495  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quit cryptocurrency trading its not for you! on: November 22, 2018, 11:52:23 PM
seriously Trading isn't meant for everyone and it entails patience, dedication and serious monitoring and should also do away with that ideology that you become  rich in 1-2weeks trading
My work mate trades stock and upon seeing my portfolio she says if she have that much money in her portfolio she would start selling and look for other ways to earn money. She saw a lot of red in my portfolio and I said its fine because I bought my coins way back when its still below $1,000 USD. Crypto trading is not for everyone, specially those who are not patient enough to HODL.
1496  Economy / Speculation / Re: New Exchanges Are Coming? But It is OK? on: November 22, 2018, 11:49:16 PM
New players in the crypto exchange business is good because this will force the existing exchangers to improve their services. They need to evolve and keep developing and improving their line of services. Just look at Nokia, they were number 1 before but they didnt evolve and improve where are they now. Before I am a loyal Poloniex user, but now I switch from Binance to Bittrex.
1497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night 141: Ngannou vs. Blaydes on: November 22, 2018, 11:45:04 PM
This fight will be all or nothing for Francis Ngannou, I reckon. A 3rd subsequent loss will put his status in the UFC to only an ok fighter and he might never have a chance to fight for a championship again.
Unfortunately, Francis Ngannou is the underdog on this fight. Nitrogensports shows odds of +205 for Francis Ngannou and -236 for Curtis Blaydes. Odds maybe against Francis Ngannou by now but I am placing my bet on him. His last 2 fight does not define what kind of fighter he is now, it depends on his will to win.
1498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What causes a person to become intensely addicted to gambling? on: November 22, 2018, 11:38:50 PM
Choosing the right spouse is not a gamble, because before you get married you get to know each other. You know already what you are going into. You are even given the last chance to back out when the priest ask if theres anyone who is against your marriage please stand up, in gambling there's none like that. Its not right to compare gambling and your decisions in life. gambling is gambling. If you want to have fun and entertain yourself, play and gamble, don't take it seriously and stop being greedy. Its that simple.
1499  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does holding really make us avoid losses? on: November 22, 2018, 11:32:53 PM
Holding helps to avoid loses if you are holding the right coin. if you are holding a coin that is soon to be delisted or progress of the project is stuck or slow then better let it go and consider it as a loss than holding to it thinking that price will still go up. I use to do this when I a day trading then suddenly price went down. I have no choice but to shift from day trading to holding instead of selling at a loss.
1500  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run next monday 26/11/2018 on: November 22, 2018, 11:26:47 PM
Maybe you are thinking that because of the events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this will trigger a sudden increase of the price of Cryptos and might continue until we call it a bull run. If you look at the price history of Bitcoin during and after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, price may have slightly move a little but not enough to trigger a bull run.
