Block halving coming up shortly! Im stacking ZET like mad
1482  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: September 01, 2013, 07:22:06 PM
Apparently no-one is paying attention to the short squeeze happening as i type this. Who knows if it will last but there will be a MAJOR squeeze coming when we hear from Ken.

crumbs, i will buy the fuck out of 0025. We are all forgetting that ACTM has promised to pay back 0025 per share before they start taking profits...its a no brainer.

Labcoin is a joke...good luck with the 130nm chip
1483  Economy / Securities / Re: ActiveMining Overview and Speculation Thread on: September 01, 2013, 07:15:39 PM
The orderbook is getting stacked up right now...There has been a big dump of Labcoin in the past few hours as the stocks have switched places.

I was hoping for a better bottom to add to my position, we shall see.

Big dump? Switched places? What are you talking about? It basically the same as it was.

Labcoin price is now above ACTM, aka "switched places"

Where the Labcoin trolls at? Major dumping happening right now.

As for Activemining, keep up the negative sentiment please. I would like another shot at 0025
1486  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: September 01, 2013, 04:18:42 PM
I honestly hope this dumping keeps going on for a couple weeks.
I have some BTC tied up in some other investments and if they do well I would love to go all-in ACTM asap

The long-term (1 year) potential of Activemining is through the roof, any long term shareholders that didn't expect a lull period are kidding themselves, please keep the dump coming boys and girls
1487  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: August 31, 2013, 12:48:51 AM
I'm a total noob to this sort of thing, so let me make sure:

1.There's an exchange with terms explicitly stating "for entertainment purposes only" & that nothing on the site has any bearing on reality or any links to the aforementioned.
This is stated explicitly.  Explicitly.  No mincing words.  Burnside comes right out and sez it.

2.On this exchange, a company virtual identity with a London mailing address and Belize registration decides to hold a hootenanny   IPO.
To get the party going, a thread is started in this subforum, where kslaughter publishes a prospectus types up a few paragraph's worth of stuff --
none of which cames to pass.  All verifiable projections fall through.

3.IPO floats, proving that dumb greed is a many-splendored thing.

4.An advisory board is formed, the function of which is, at least in part, chanting "we are not a part of the company, all we can do is advise" and
"Ken would love to tell you, but you know -- NDA."

5.I would go on with this list, but i have just peed myself laughing.

BRB, pants.

Edit:  What, exactly, do most of the kids here expect to happen next?  (btw, just changed my pants -- hold off on answering for a bit, k?)

lol this blatant trolling is ridiculous. The board just got elected and we just started making our own chip. Smart long-term shareholders would expect delays but you trolls are either impatient or need to get a girlfriend and/or a job. I know if I wasn't interested in something I wouldnt spend everyday checking the threads and responding to my FUD religiously. You guys really need to find something to do in life. Jerking off 10 times a day apparently isnt cutting it
1488  Economy / Securities / Re: ActiveMining Overview and Speculation Thread on: August 30, 2013, 12:55:46 PM
The best thing about all this is that we will see the benefits of the new chip right away. Any testing that will be done will be mined right to our farm and chips will run off the line and start hashing for us before customers see them (Although I hope we can prove to be one of the fastest companies in terms of delivery).
1489  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: August 29, 2013, 07:09:55 PM
Using the refund money for dividends would be bad idea in my view for a couple reasons

1. It might artificially inflate the price of ACTM for the time being, which would make it unfair for unsuspecting investors

and

2. the 1500 BTC reinvested into chip fab or whatever it might be would be the better long term decision.

Im sure alot of people realize this and it will be important for Ken to notify us on this matter when he can.
1490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 coin - Pools up - Quick confirmations on: August 28, 2013, 07:05:54 PM
We see a bubble collapse on a really sped-up scale. It'll bounce up when ASIC-mined sell-offs dry up. Smiley

Exactly, rising ZET difficulty along with block halving occuring every month won't leave this coin sitting at 1000 Satoshis each for too long

1491  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: August 28, 2013, 03:07:04 PM
I'm sure this will be very interesting to all the people with brown pants to wash today-

My manual calculations show that since this recent sell off started approx:
30k shares total were sold on BF
65k total were sold on btc.co

So with 10Mill shares owned by investors, that means only around 100th of the stock was sold (1%) - which is in all reality utterly insignificant.

Why did price plunge on such a minor sell-off? The reason exchanges price dropped (on average about 20%ish) is that there were no buyers supporting the market.

Why were there no buyers? A few reasons, the main I would say being everyone who is interested knows where the company is in terms of development/being pre-news release and is at this point already invested as far as they can/want to go. With little buying pressure any stock is vulnerable to a price dip like this when sellers enter the market (wishing to realise some FIAT most likely).

So if you now understand the reason for it and you see 99% of shares were held tight today I'm sure you can safely put on a clean pair, settle down, and get ready for the ride.

Comments?

You're right about that. The BTC up for bid on btct was just over 100...Although we're down a couple points the bids are now up to 300BTC. Very good sign. Im still holding, still in profit mode and not selling anytime soon

Emmanuel,

Do you think you could let us know a little bit more about how the revenue reinvestment program works?  Are we going to be able to see how much we've paid into that program?  How often will you be using those funds to invest in new equipment?  I know it may not be an exact science as new hardware comes out, hashrates change and so on but I'm sure a lot of people would like to know your initial strategy on this.

Thanks!

Yes, I would also like to know more about this..

yup me too. also, i think it might be a good idea to use the revenue investment program for research in making better asics. maybe you can work side by side with your asic supplier?

I would not stand behind that idea....let the experts handle the chips while Cloudhashing hosts our farm.

Plus im sure Knc wont need Cloudhashing's pocket change at that stage of the game
1494  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Value Hits $133 for the first time since May 26th on: August 28, 2013, 04:38:47 AM
I really am unsure of where the price is headed short term.

A buy volume chart of all exchanges would be a key indicator, but this info seems hard to find. I cant wait for BTC's future and proper trading platforms/tools
1495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 coin - Pools up - Quick confirmations on: August 27, 2013, 01:49:00 AM
What am I doing wrong here???
Im finding this impossible to mine and its getting frustrating...

my bat file looks like this using coinex pool

"bfgminer.exe -S opencl:noauto -o stratum+tcp:zet.mining.coinex.pw:17333 -u -p -G -S erupter:all"
1496  Economy / Securities / Re: ActiveMining Overview and Speculation Thread on: August 26, 2013, 11:16:06 PM
Since this is the speculation thread, and things have been very boring as of late I would like to speculate on the share price of ACTIVEMINING if all goes well with eASIC and the avalon chips.

Lets set the date for Dec 31, 2013.

my realistic guesstimation on the price of one share of ACTM is .027

Feel free to chime in, Im curious to hear what numbers other (possibly smarter) investors have in their heads!
1497  Economy / Securities / Re: Cloudhashing ASIC mining contracts, UK LTD company - Now Mining & Paying Bitcoin on: August 26, 2013, 08:34:53 PM
I hope these September contracts actually begin in September... I have 4GH waiting (and have been waiting since July for 1GH).

Buyer beware, promises were made and have not been kept. Although I trust in cloudhashing am pleased with how they have dealt with the delays, everything in the BTC mining world these days is going to take ALOT longer than any company is telling you.
1498  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: August 26, 2013, 06:19:22 PM
Im just as anxious for news here but these threads are getting clogged with FUD because eASIC isnt making and shipping our chips by the end of the month. The risk/reward ratio on this stock is INSANE, and we know ACTM is under NDA with eASIC. Obviously progress is happening but not as fast as some of the people trying to make a quick buck would like, i don't have a problem with that.

im a major fan of this stock for a very good reason

Completely understand and largely agree.

My remark was to your statement that even if the eASIC deal "went down the shitter" we'd still have chips coming/hashing. I'm simply saying if eASIC goes away, so should you.

Fair enough, maybe I need to think a little more before I post. Because you're right, if all we had left was the avalon chips I would be forced to run for the door. This eASIC deal is the glue holding this together for the time being and the day we hear something substantial from eASIC or Ken on this will be my Christmas this year.

Its always darkest before dawn
