I'm not sure if all escrows are the same but sounds like if there is a case for a refund we got to sign a message? Or alternatively send some extra Satoshis to represent our user id?

Sounds a bit odd because if I send coins to the escrow address it surely is me, who else would send coins to the address?
Yes someone could claim it is their address by looking at the blockchain but if claims for refund are done via PM or even publicly on the thread only from the user that actually reserved the coins it should be pretty fail proof. The rules look like more geared toward ICOs.

However I never used escrow so this may be a standard? And how much is the escrow fee if any?

Another question, where are the coins shipping from? Which country? So to check what the international shipping fees could be like.

What happens if coins come up with scuffs, marks, are not perfect?
It is not unusual there is a bad batch or a few coins in a batch with issues.
Will OP mention any defect before shipping or give option for refund straight away before sending coins?
If yes all you need is to tell escrow user X wants a refund.

Now sounds like this is the first time the OP is commissioning coins, it does feel rushed and could be a recipe for disaster.
I know there is an escrow which could be used but sounds like you may not get yer money back if you can't prove it is your address.

I'm not trying to jinx it, hope it all goes well, but it the most unusual coin sale I've seen during the time I've been around.
Any clarification appreciated.  Smiley

1488  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INTEREST CHECK] - Autographs for the Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins on: July 22, 2016, 07:06:13 PM
Just to confirm, are the holo and signatures collected only going to be part of the 20 signature edition books?

I'm reposting this from an earlier post...

There will be 50 sets in total (containing both signatures and holos).  Approximately 15 gifted to the first coin makers that prefer them that are signing.  Then another 20 allocated to Elianite to make the Hardcover Autograph Edition.  3 allocated to Minerjones for resales of the softcovers with the sets installed, and then the remaining 10 or so loose sets to be sold by me as auction or sales.

Ok thanks. Thought they were exclusive to Elianite's book hence why the increase in price for it (the 20 signature editions).
So that doesn't make the book so exclusive if people can get these elsewhere unless, of course, there will be other extras just for the book.

Any info on why this coin is special apart from being number 1?

Looks like the Casascius aluminum coin but was loaded and had a hologram/privkey added?

I wasn't around when these were sold and how many of them there are?

Thanks

What do you mean with Offset?

What is the issue and where?
1493  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Introducing Supreme BTC " Signature Series" In honor of bitcointalk/Halving on: July 21, 2016, 02:39:37 AM
I will have sets #14 and #15 for all flavours Smiley

They are yours!

Please Pm or post Tx Id: & names for the coins  Smiley

Gimme a couple of days to think about the name and payment Wink

And where is the chosen signature going to be located on the coin?

Also dunno about others but it's not like I can get holos just like that, for the price no chance to include numbered holos on the coins?
Or if the coins are numbered (engraved) just some simple ones to go with them?

One more thing, maybe others here know you, but payment before actual pics of the coins is a bit unusual.
I'd give up the custom name (as that's probably the reason for early payment) and wait for the coins to be in hand as other manufacturers do.
Feels like crowdfunding for the coins to be made.

What do others think?

Has there been any announcement on the official release date of Spells of Genesis?

Not yet, it is expected around September with a soft launch sometime in August according to the roadmap.
However the beta can be played right now, I'm sure you are aware otherwise:

Maybe once you get the coins if there are any still available you could make a list of the available spots.

Also you may want to post on this thread that if users want to reserve an available spot they should PM you so everyone is aware.

Yes I think auction is the way to go. Put one up with some good pictures, and you will get a feel of what the others could go at.
I'd be interested too.
