My wallet is not syncing, it says:

Im using 1.1 and im using the conf file, its still Out of sync.

So can you clarify if it's going to be as impossible to get a coin? Is the reward going up but the speed is as stupid slow? Because if so whats the point of being an early miner unless you have a super CPU anyway.
exactly 2 hours now with 2,7 hpm and 0 blocks taking a bath now ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Yeah this seems like a legit waste of time unless you have a NASA CPU. So much for early miners. Everyone was warned, so everyone gets a fair start. It sucks, but this is actually better for everyone. How is it any fairer than other coins? The speed at which you found blocks will not be faster after 48h, afaik it's the block reward that will be higher. So in any case, the people with the most powerful CPU will still dominate.
Whats the point of being an early miner if you still need a super CPU to be able to find some coins? It's like the 1% inside the 1%.
This is a waste of time. I'll be back when someone sets up a pool or something.

Mining from "settings" didn't work for me. Why -1? -1 is the command for "USE ALL AVAILABLE FUCKING CORES" ... *edit: sorry I'm cranky, I havent slept and this piece of shit wont sync so I can go to sleep. Well, I get half the speed if I use -1 compared to using 4.

Ok I give up. When will it be profitable to mine again, in 24h? I cant afford to burn my laptop for hours to find out i still have 0.00 MMC.
Mining + laptop != profitable. Why would you think it would be? Because any early BTC miner would have a shit ton of coins by now mining at my rate, but I have 0.00 MMC. It's not like an i5 2.7ghz CPU is useless. I mined a hundred Quark in 3 days a couple weeks ago.

I think at this rate mining Dogecoin is more profitable.

Here is how you get the memorycoin.conf file to work in the correct directory on Windows 7...
Go to C:\Users\<YourUsernameHere>\AppData\Roaming\MemoryCoin\ (**do not include < > in your username folder) ###NINJA EDIT- The folder "AppData" is a hidden folder. If you do not see this folder perform the following from Windows 7... Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization - > Folder Options (The little show hidden files link - This pops a window open, Click the check box for "Show Hidden files, folders and drives"
-This is the location that is where the memorycoin.conf file should be saved (keep in mind we are not saving this as a memorycoin.conf.txt - you will need to open in text editor/notepad and save as then choose "all files" in the drop down and save it as "memorycoin.conf")
Right-click -> New Text Document -> Save as memorycoin.conf
Edit this file and paste the following:
rpcuser=username rpcpassword=password rpcport=1968 rpcallow=127.0.0.1 server=1 addnode=180.183.156.250:1968 addnode=76.24.94.154:1968 addnode=62.43.2.239:1968 addnode=82.52.177.81:1968 addnode=84.249.109.128:1968 addnode=78.239.107.25:49568 addnode=90.231.187.171:50251 addnode=70.112.30.253:26959 addnode=74.88.177.35:16511 addnode=54.200.207.220:49260 addnode=193.92.140.209:51570 addnode=95.89.105.134:1968 addnode=79.3.168.143:1968 addnode=91.157.155.98:1968 addnode=78.239.107.25:1968 addnode=87.49.126.92:1968 addnode=94.122.229.201:1968 addnode=94.3.149.107:1968 gen=1
Relaunch your memorycoin-qt client. Mine is currently connecting from the computer I am typing on but on my second pc it is still stuck with bouncing 1 and 0 network connections. (I am going to try the config file there as well to confirm)

Confirming that this works! It doesnt for me. Memorycoin-qt gives me an error if I have the memorycoin.conf file on there. What the fucking fucks is going on?

There's no particular harm, the block rewards are set low in this period, ramping up to a full block reward in 48hrs.
So its just useless and waste of power to mine in that 48 hours? why should i mine now for getting 1,3xx MMC when i can find 280 MMC in 2 days very confusing for me, i don't understand it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) because right now difficulty is so low, it cancels the effect of low reward After almost 2 hours only one single person has reported here to have found two blocks, and that was a guy with 16 hpm. It seems with my 2.3 hpm my chances are really low anyway, so I don't care whether the block I won't find would give me 1 MMC or 280 MMC. I wonder where the other 50 blocks went. This. I feel like im wasting my CPU on nothing.
It worked, it's downloading the block. What about the .conf file? Why it isn't included by default? What should I put inside the memorycoin.conf file that I have to create anyway?
Also, how do I set that the mined coins go to a certain address? I dont want to be mining and find out they aren't getting into my address
I have the exact same question please ! Actually I've never used a .conf file Mined rewards will go to your main wallet address. Then why im not having seeing any coins? { "blocks" : 44, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.00000099, "errors" : "", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : 4, "hashespermin" : 0.44342621, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false } How do I see if im mined something or not? Is that allright or something is wrong? why is generate set to false? please help ugh... When you mine a coin, on the home page "overview" it will show your balance at the top left. Coins must be confirmed before they enter your Balance. When you mine a block it will appear under the "recent transactions" on the right with the time amount and address. Why does my "generate" say false but everyone else says true? what does this mean. Also, why is this so slow if we are mining right at the begining? No one has a single MMC yet not even unconfirmed if you looked. There have been people that have mined. Like the post above yours...just has a loooooong time to find a block. That still doesnt answer what generate is and why mine says false? Did you do Settings -> Mine _ Processes yet? It will be at 0.000000 hashespermin for a couple minutes then it should update. Yes, im mining already, look at the hash rate { "blocks" : 46, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.00000154, "errors" : "", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : 4, "hashespermin" : 0.44859478, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false } But generate says false for some reason, I dont know what that means but everyone else has "true" on it Not sure what it really means either. Do manually added nodes with the debugging console stay when you relaunch the client ?
no So how do you permanently add them?
