Not gunna lie that would be the dope'st game on the planet! Tongue

Hmm.... a game like? can you explain more, because this year i project to create my own cannabis game, infact i'm just looking for some flash animations (and translation because i'm french) like plants, room, box, hps/mh/ect lights and more. I will work on the project all this year  Cool

I'm actually working on the concept.

Ah crap you mean this could be a reality wow am I dreamin ? That would be amazing.  I would love a game like this.  I want to grow in a game!  of course, you have to have DopeCoin for in-game  "growing credits" Wink

Ttt... If a core dev starts to use drug examples, it will be harder to explain that privacy is not just illegal stuff Smiley

stealth address + ring signature = the privacy part of CryptoNote. Cryptonote is more than privacy; it is also less constrained parameters which, for instance, render any Cryptonote immune to the 1 MB blocksize that affect Bitcoin. The CryptoNote protocol has "no hard limit" (whitepaper, sic), which helps scalability. Not counting the "chosen transparency that is the viewkey and later auditable addresses, like fluffy mentionned it on reddit

On top of this, Monero added some more features, like tail emission to mitigate the predicted loss of interest of miner for a crypto if all they have left is transaction fees, openalias (granted, it can be used with more than Monero, even Bitcoin), mnelmonic seed (AFAIK, only Bitcoin has it, whith Electrum).

I think it's going to be more an issue of dm operators migrating from TOR to I2P. DM operators will do what is in their best interest, not have consumers dictate the coin they should use to them; they're taking the brunt of the risk and they supply the product that the consumer wants--good luck telling them that they should use a coin because it has better marketing. When's the last time you saw a drug dealer with a cc reader? And before anyone jumps on me and says, "Oh, but Monero's so much more than the dark markets, ect,..." I've never said otherwise. What I am saying is that dm is the market that can make or break Monero. Do you think a CEO is going to entrust the secrecy of a project on a coin that failed publicly with dm? I wouldn't....

I talk about drugs all day long with DopeCoin as you said consumers don't dictate the coin they use for them, it is the DM operator who sets the tone for it so you are spot on. We got listed on SRR. We have no shame in saying so. Its about what the DM wants.

edit: keep in mind SRR actually eats up your coins so providing an extra layer of privacy as the alt-coin is converted over to Bitcoins.

I find it annoying that existing e-commerence shops can't accept cryptos easily without implementing some sort of plug in , or some other b.s system. So, I'm looking for someone who can scrape a sites products easily and present the ability to the end user to pay in the crypto coin of their choice in a small cart that floats. So from a merchant perspective there is a few lines of code they add to a page and walah it turns their page into a full-fledge crypto cart.

I'm sick of having to pay to get my way in, or get my coin voted in on something like coinpayments for example. It makes no sense . This shouldn't be that hard. Lets do this! PM me.

“It has all the same properties as gold, and even better,” he said. “What makes DopeCoin stick out is you can specifically buy products in a truly anonymous manner.” did you really say this?

Yes.

For you trendies out there: "Dope" as a word is going to be cool again.

Top google search result for "dope" today:

Apparently, the movie even has Bitcoin mentioned in it.  Too bad they didn't know about Dopecoin!

EDIT:  OMG it's a coming of age story, not a sequel to Trainspotting!

Wow, had no idea how 'hipster' DOPE is .  I mean look at that! there is "Dope" at the sundance film festival! all those crack heads! OMG!

Fair enough. I really don't care if you use the word dope.

Good Tongue

My original argument was that i find it doubtful that a dispensary would ever want to use it.

They don't even accept it for PotCoin. It isn't about a name really its just nobody has approached all this correctly.

But what do i know. I'll just go smoke some god's pussy and shut up.

SMOKE some god's pussy!  But, no need to shut up we accept anyone and everyone here!  Grin

I'm actually more put off by the Guy Fawkes mask than the name though.

Its more a symbol the gov't can get out of our business. You interpret it as hacking ? I mean mostly its associated with via wikipedia: " anti-government and anti-establishment" aka the war on drugs for example. But, I hear what you are saying constructive feedback is always necessary!

Do you have some special info as to why any user would trust the newest silk road? Is this one going to last longer then 1 year? Can you guarantee that it isn't a honeypot? The track record of these centralized dark market sites is poor at best.

With anything you take risks. I mean the same questions were asked of Agora , Evolution I'm sure.  I think it will last longer then a year because for one: it is on a new system i2p( granted it not as tested as much ) but I do think "switching it up" will let it go longer

Why would any intelligent dark market user not just use open bazaar or nxt free market? Or pay in something like monero?

Well at the moment there just isn't anything out for that yet. Hopefully, we can change that also.

Quote
Or maybe there is no such thing as intelligent dark market user.

Lol be nice  Cheesy

but names do have power, otherwise the silk road moniker would have been droped long ago.
Here's a suggestion, if its not already in use, greencoin.  Just rebrand your coin. You might be able to take those bags to the moon, who knows.

I guess that's just it.  Nobody can tell you what you can do with your coin so you might as well be honest about it and leave the name open for interpretation. I mean look at PotCoin they have had to tell people that they can't use PotCoin for illegal use i.e.,  on SRR for example.  I mean how ridiculous does that sound ?  Should they change their name to legalonlypotcoin . I mean if anything it causes controversy ( as it seems ) so people know about it more.

Good debate though!  Wink

tbh I'm interesting in purchasing some but the D-word is a hard selling point--it really makes it sound like it is for hard drugs (depending on what area of the world you're operating from).

Again my personal opinion, but I also think the amount of anonymous/guy fawkes masks on the website makes it look a little ridiculous too (feel free to disagree).

Hi ik_do,

I get where you and everyone is coming from , but the D-word can be interpreted in many ways and for a lot of people its just a cool slang word that is used.

An example at least on the American side is ,  it could be said this is a  dope-ass-coin  does that mean its hard drug coin ? lol ...just sayin....

Anon. Guy Fawks masks are generally there to give the feeing things are safe and nobody knows what you do with your DopeCoins. At least that is what I think the intentions are  Cheesy

A few years ago i tried explaining btc to various local dispensaries. Way way way over their head. Cash is still king.

Crypto will have to make itself stoner friendly. Not stoner name friendly.

Cash will rule the day for now I agree.  But, at the end of the day they will care less about the name and whether or not your spending imho.

By the way you'll be able to cannabis on SRR here is a screenshot:

Yes, a dispensary has trouble getting and keeping a bank account. That is why they will run from a coin such as dope.

Dispensaries will never take a coin with a derogatory name such as dope. Sorry, not going to happen. Dispensaries are selling medicine, not street drugs.

I personally guarantee that no dispensaries anywhere near me will ever accept "dope".

medication coin  XD

That is the last thing we need is another coin XD
