So, whats this.. =P
Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_Adaptive_Streaming_over_HTTP

Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH), also known as MPEG-DASH

we all love those acronyms...
1482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: April 09, 2015, 08:37:26 PM
************ Please Update To 11.2.22! ****************

- DS Speed Improvements : Darksend should be lightning fast now on mainnet. We're going to delay the implementation of masternode blinding because there's two separate mobile wallets that are in the process of implementing Darksend and the reference implementation needs to be super stable during this period of time. Once we have the mobile wallets done (which should have Darksend and InstantX support) we can move back to improving Darksend.
- DS Max Rounds is now 8, which is more than enough for anyone. If someone wants more security, they can use the parameter which goes up to 16.
- Fixed Chinese Translations
- Masternode voting should now work properly. Masternode operators can copy their masternode.conf to another computer and vote without having their wallets online now.

You will need to rollback to blocks before the exploit...

Developer Announcement -- BlockChain Issues/Shitstorm

All our sincere apologies for the delayed response we are currently in contact with a million people at once trying to sort the shitstorm out and have not had a chance yet to reply on bitcointalk. We are cyptography and cryptocurrency enthusiasts and were contacted by a developer to help create a coin, whom has duped everyone, we are very angered by this and will be doing a hardfork and changing everything over to our control, here is what's happened/going to happen.

  • We have changed all the credentials to github, etc.
  • We have been scambling to contact everyone including exchanges and reported the address of the person who did the exploit (he used 1 single address for everything).
  • There will be a hardfork announced where everything ALL ALERT KEYS, SYNC KEYS, etc. will be back under our control.
  • The roadmap will be posted as planned

Again our sincere apologies, the coin has a slightly larger supply now yes, but we have reported the address of the attacker to exchanges and the funds have been frozen, these coins are going to be removed from circulation and have not been dumped. We have not seen any evidence of any mass dumping, props to the exchanges for detecting and stopping the attack.

There will be many more updates to follow as the situation progresses please keep an eye on the OP and thread for more announcements.

I think the enforcement of payments should not be an exact date but rather we say for example it will be turned on within a month so every pool that has not updated or is currently cheating on masternode payments would get punished... So there would be incentive to update asap to the latest and stop cheating on payments..

We contacted developer(s) of this coin and they did not want to go through with verification.

Why is it listed then as #6? http://www.coinssource.com/rankings/

but not in
http://www.coinssource.com/trust-index/

Yes we all know that darkcoin is a good coin and developer has shown himself as a real person etc..
but it I think this shows something about the coins that don't want to go through the process.....

What is DoScoin?

It came as an idea. We suffer the problem of Denial of Service attacks everyday. I thought of a way we could help mitigate this: Crowd-Sourced mitigation.

An example of how it would work out. This covers a basic attack. We will implement other things to cover more advanced attacks.

Attacker sends DoS attack at imscrewed.com

imscrewed.com receives notice of false packets being sent. The dos node confirms a dos attack, activates proof of mitigation, and opens multiple faucets to saved.com, yourewelcome.net and ddosattackdown.com as well as many other websites. This lessens the load of ddos attack and possibly stopping it all.

The maximum attack a website will take in any attack would be 10 mbps

If we were to have a 1,000,000 websites with nodes, we would be able to mitigate 10 terabytes worth of Ddos.
There are over 250,000,000 websites registered today. Some people own multiples. At this time, if we were to have 10,000,000 websites signed up, we won't have to worry about a DDos attack for quite awhile.

All the websites involved get shares based on proof of mitigation and Holding the line

Proof of mitigation = total amount of nodes that have taken on the hit from the original source node.

It will be 250 coins per node. 5% of the cost of a node x total nodes = the share. It's like a pool, but with a fair share.

10,000 websites would generate 125,000 new coins. Each website would receive 12.5 coins not including the initial website.

The source website gets a reward generated called Holding the Line.

the initial source node gets 1 coin x 125 mhps attack.

Roadmap:

IPO this week
Hire developers.
Release Source, block explorer, and Wallet.
Removal of PoS. Move to PoM and HTL.
Many more implementations.

Free for any questions asked.

No this is not a ninja launch as you'll have a week's notice before it happens.

FIN will be removed from thread.

Thank you

How do you plan to do all of this, I know how to do this, but please tell me your solution before I yell SCAM!

Also, you could yell scam but I will remove it anyways.

It will take some time before everything is implemented. This is solely the distribution phase.

But please tell me on how do you plan to get into the packet path or the hosting webservers to distribute the load? You do have Some plan?

Well?
