1481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: March 28, 2023, 07:33:45 PM
Turkey look so determined to put the ball behind the Croatian net and with the record they hold at the Timsah Arena (Bursa) stadium, it will be very difficult to break them down, but so far so good for them hope Croatia put their act together to win this fixture as many of us expect them to win today.

Edit: Turkey 0-1 Croatia

To be honest, I must admit that I am not particularly impressed with Croatia's performance up until this point. In spite of the current score, I believe that Turkey showed a higher level of play and had several very good opportunities. Even though Croatia's defense held up against Turkey's attacks, they were still prone to making mistakes and giving up possession. On the other hand, Turkey was able to maintain a consistent level of pressure and create several promising chances. On multiple occasions, Turkey was able to penetrate Croatia's defense and create scoring opportunities. It was only through some fortunate saves and defensive efforts by their goalkeeper, Livakovic, that Croatia was able to maintain their lead.

Edit: Turkey 0-2 Croatia  Smiley
1482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a casino ever run without the government's awareness? on: March 28, 2023, 09:58:04 AM
Is it possible to run a decentralized gambling platform?

It's definitely possible to create a decentralized gambling platform. The technology exists to make it happen, but the real question is whether it's feasible to do so in a way that's sustainable in the long term. I think the biggest challenge with a decentralized gambling platform is gaining the trust of users. People are naturally skeptical of online gambling, and with a decentralized platform, there's no central authority or regulators that users can turn to if something goes wrong. Trust is key when it comes to gambling, and it's hard to build trust in a decentralized platform.

Gambling sites have choice to accept a coin or not accept it, although CBDCs are not coins, they are fiat.

If and when a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) is established and declared as legal tender in a specific jurisdiction, online casinos will be obligated to accept it as a form of payment due to regulations imposed by law and governing bodies.
1483  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Need help with proof of concept cpu mining on: March 28, 2023, 07:09:14 AM
for this reason, I don’t want to play with FPGAs: I am not interested in this field of technical knowledge, and I am not so crazy (or too old) to learn it only for this dream.

But if you don't want to test your algorithm on FPGAs, how will you ever know if it is better (more optimal) than the current version of ASICs? It does not make sense. ASICs are designed specifically for a certain task and are hard to beat, so if you want to compete with them, you really need to test your algorithm on an FPGA.

Another option would be to collaborate with someone who has expertise in FPGAs and can help you with the testing process. That way, you don't have to learn everything from scratch, but still get the benefits of using an FPGA.

It is good that they have updated the main post and removed the "No KYC" part from there.
Thank you @OP for removing the misleading information from the title.

Yes, I agree. It's a relief to see that they have finally removed the misleading and potentially harmful "no KYC" claim from the title of this thread, even though it took them a month to do so. Well, I guess it's better late than never.

Winning at sports betting does not only depend entirely on luck but you are right where it also requires pretty good analysis too, because it is impossible for bettors to choose randomly and hope that there is a goddess of luck who will help the bet become a win especially for parlays because 1 match is enough for destroyed all the positive results in the chosen match, that's what I experienced some time ago quite sure that this would win and it didn't after one of the bets lost because one of the matches came out surprising, good analysis and luck will allow us to win parlay bets.

Sports betting is a combination of luck and careful analysis and research. While the latter plays a significant role, the former also has an impact. In my opinion, it is a mixture of both. Even if you have done your research, there are still unforeseeable events that can occur during a game, which could impact the outcome of your bet. However, the better your analysis and strategy, the higher your chances of success.

does anyone knows when the art contest will close?

I saw somewhere it was april 5th but some other people said it usually just lasts for the month, so I'm not sure

The manager has clearly stated that the deadline for submitting work is April 5th, and any additional comments made by others are irrelevant.

Deadline: April 5th, so a bit more than a month to go!
1487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: March 27, 2023, 04:49:58 PM

I would say that trading can be a good option if you are willing to take on some risk. However, it's important to conduct your research, educate yourself, and have a solid understanding of the markets. You need to be prepared for the risks involved before jumping in. You should consider starting with a small capital until you gain more experience and start by reading up on trading strategies and market analysis.

Investing, on the other hand, typically involves buying assets with the intention of holding them for the long term in the hope of generating returns through appreciation in their value. It often requires conducting thorough research to identify assets with strong fundamentals or those that are undervalued in relation to their potential.
1488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Evidence that I actually invested for my baby on: March 27, 2023, 09:19:14 AM
Few days a go, I made a thread on the topic "early bitcoin investment for my baby" I got some comments saying I should show evidence showing I actually invested the money.

I don't know who made that comment, but I don't think it's necessary to give such evidence in public. It's your personal investment, after all, and you shouldn't have to provide evidence to strangers on the internet. Ultimately, the decision is yours, and you should do what makes you feel comfortable. Whether you choose to share or not, please don't let anyone else's comments or skepticism diminish the excitement and pride you feel about investing in your child's future.

I believe that every parent should consider investing in their child's future, whether it's through Bitcoin or some other means. It's never too early to start thinking about financial planning. By the way, congratulations on the new addition to your family!

To each link on the site...

That way it would open links in a new tab
You can do it with your browser settings.

Like in Tor browser.
Settings > General > Tab > Choose "Open links in tabs instead of new windows"

I think this option is only applicable to links that already have the "target="_blank"" attribute set, which opens links in a new tab instead of a new window. However, the suggestion made by the OP is to have the target="_blank" attribute set for all links from the forum's side.

@theymos

That was years ago and nowadays any decent browser support <rel=noopener> for <target=_blank> links.

I agree. As far as I know, the security concern that theymos mentioned in the post is no longer relevant.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pastor Shuts Down His Church After Winning About $140,000 In Sports Betting.. on: March 25, 2023, 07:51:17 AM
Although winning a significant amount of money from gambling can be life-changing, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's the best decision to quit your current business or career. I think it's important to consider the long-term impact of such a decision. For instance, if I quit my business, I would lose the opportunity to grow it and create more employment opportunities.

On the other hand, if my business career involved being a pastor, I would undoubtedly resign and seek a new path in life.  Cheesy

It is true, but you have to be smart with the type of promotion, for example here in the forum there is the option of signature campaigns, and you can also promote if you have active social networks with many followers, because those who are in gambling and sports betting you are always looking for new opportunities to try and win, a casino is obviously seen as an opportunity, but advertising is an investment that will pay for itself over time , so there is nothing wrong with being able to make the effort, I know that every start is hard, but it is worth trying to have good benefits in the long term.

I agree that advertising is an investment that pays for itself over time. The key is to find a promotion that is effective and efficient. I think it is also important to track the results of the promotion to see how effective it is. It helps you to know what works and what doesn't work, and you can make adjustments and improve the promotion to get better results. Another thing to consider is the target audience. It's important to identify who your target audience is and tailor your promotion strategies to them. For example, if your target audience is young adults, you may want to focus on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, as these are popular among that demographic. On the other hand, if your target audience is older adults, you may want to focus on traditional advertising methods.

But, the most important thing to consider is the quality of service that the casino provides. No matter how much you promote the casino, if the service is not good, customers will not return. Therefore, it's important to provide excellent customer service and ensure that the casino offers a great gaming experience. Quality of service is key to retaining customers and attracting new ones. This can lead to positive word-of-mouth promotion and help to attract more customers.

Informacije za ovu kampanju su ti pogrešne u početnoj tablici. Vjerovatno je došlo do promjena u međuvremenu.

Ma da, nisam primijetio da su promijenili uvjete u kampanji. Hvala na napomeni, ispravljeno.
Uglavnom, Sinbad mixer kampanja sada izgleda sasvim OK. Neka samo potraje.
1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: March 24, 2023, 05:53:16 PM
Are there any sportsbooks that you know of that are currently offering bets on the 2024 US Presidential Election? If so, which ones and what kind of bets are they offering?

I think it's important to remember that the next elections are still quite a ways off, and a lot can happen between now and then. We may see new candidates emerge, or current candidates may drop out or face unexpected challenges. But I agree that it's fair to say that Biden will not win re-election. As the someone already mentioned, he is too old, and his health and cognitive abilities have been called into question countless times. Additionally, his approval ratings have been low, and there are concerns about his handling of certain issues, such as immigration and foreign policy.
1496  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io Steal money on: March 24, 2023, 05:36:37 PM
Where is evidence that  someone sold me any account? Or its just another excuses without  brief evidence.

When using a sportsbook or any online platform, it is important to follow the terms of use set forth by the provider. Using multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage, is often explicitly prohibited by these terms of use.

When you're caught multi-accounting, it is understandable that you may feel upset or regretful. However, crying or showing other forms of emotional distress does not change the fact that you violated the terms of use and engaged in unethical behavior. Moreover, the clear evidence against you in your post history makes it even harder for you to argue against the accusations.

1498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1$ per day crypto investment plan any good ? on: March 24, 2023, 02:29:46 PM
It really comes down to how comfortable you are with risk. If you're okay with potentially taking some big hits, then you might want to consider investing with a larger sum of money. But if you're not so keen on losing big, then starting small might be a better bet. Of course, this is just my two cents based on my own personal experiences. At the end of the day, everyone has their own unique perspective on investing, so it's important to do your own research and figure out what works best for you.

How many game can make profit if most of games are free to play.

I'm not sure if I understood your question correctly, but it seems to me that you are curious about the business model utilized by free-to-play games to generate revenue for developers.

Generally, a game can make a profit if it is able to attract and retain a large user base, monetize effectively, and provide a high-quality gaming experience. Some free-to-play games rely on in-app purchases to make money, while others may use advertising or sponsorships to generate revenue. It's also important to consider the level of competition in the market, as well as the target audience and their willingness to spend money on virtual goods or other in-game purchases. However, success is never guaranteed and many free-to-play games fail to generate significant profits despite being popular among users.
1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: March 24, 2023, 12:15:17 PM
I don't know how your friend makes a passive income through referral commission. If at present he has many referrers and earning some good amount then I can say that it will not last long for him because it is not a skill one can't  choose it as a profession. And if one takes it as a profession, he is on the wrong path. Because referral commission is just a small gift for promoting that site, it cannot be a professional job. So don't waste your precious time getting addicted to it

I've also heard of people using forums, online communities, and even blogs to promote their referral links. The key is to find a platform where your target audience is likely to hang out and then share your link in a way that's not spammy or pushy. I think the key to success with referral programs is to be consistent and persistent. You need to keep promoting your link and encouraging others to sign up. It may take some time to build up a good base of referrals, but it can definitely pay off. For some, at least.
