Oh look, another country coin, yet 99,99999999999% of the people in Greece haven't even heard about this coin, this is a scam. No coins will get distributed, the coin "devs" have no cooperation with any Greek institution in order to get personal IDs of Greek citizens, and they do not have the authority to ask for the personal ID themselves. Which thinking human being would every give his personal ID to some anonymous dev from the internet?

This has 50 percent more coins than aphroditecoin. Even at a very overinflated market valuation of $2 per coin, it would have a total market cap of over $64 million , putting it at 5th spot on coinmarketcap, right under aurora.
This will plummet just like all the other national coins. IMO, all these national coins are nothing but a joke. Just neckbeard devs in their basement with not a shit clue of how inconceivable a 'real world' airdrop actually is to any community larger than the friends list on their AIM messenger.
Investors and hypers of these coins could give a rats ass less about 'benefiting the country or its economy,' either. They just wanna make out like bandits praying for a 100x profit like aurora, then dump on the rest of the fools. Lol don't let them tell you otherwise.
This. Spot on. I'm from Greece and I can tell you 1. People don't know what cryptocurrencies are - there's no way for a dubious cryptocoin to get ANY traction whatsoever. I can't imagine a single merchang accepting ...greecoins. People don't even know what bitcoin is, or if they do, they are highly skeptical. 2. Greece is not a small island like iceland or cyprus. You can't just "airdrop" money. It has a vast surface compared to iceland or cyprus. What this means is that there can be no serious coin distribution in the form of paper. This is pump & dump. I know I'm spoiling it for those who are buying and saying "oh this could help them" etc etc, but the only thing it'll happen is for some people to lose money and some others to gain money from those who lost it. Initially we had a meme coin that got traction and then there was 100 meme-clones, animal-clones etc etc. Then we had a country coin that got traction and now there are 5-10 clones. WTF. This is true, In Spain youth is very techy and knows much about bitcoins etc.. still Spaincoin is a faillure, so in a country like Greece.. lol |

Stability fix for PI users. I was having a terrible time getting my rig to run long stretches in Scrypt mode with any real stability regardless if i was using cpuminer or dtbartle (cgminer 3.7.2). I picked up this tip from another thread were they were using Scripta. I applied only the stability fix portion from this thread to my PI witch is otherwise configured per this guide. Any hints for Windows using CGminer 3.7.2? Mine will run for about 6-8 hours, then they need to be unplugged (USB) and plugged back in. Is it better to run CPUMiner instead, or does that come with its own reboot issues as well? I have seen people using CPUMiner with 10 units and not needing to reboot them |

how long have you been mining there? look at how many confirmations the pool is on. I also had a similar doubt, I was mining 4 hours and not getting paid but it's just that it takes alot of bloc confirmations, now I'm getting the first ones in |

Difficulty is up for the first time in a week or so, network hash rate just about doubled.
Miners are starting to pay attention to Noble again.
I wish I had a bunch of bitcoin to pump it up to the price it should be with this difficulty  they are mining Noble right now so that they can buy Blackcoin in exchange, multipool system |

Well I sympathize with you brightlight, but I'm in for the long haul. I'm not going to purposely burn myself when I'm still mining it. Perhaps if through mining I can reach sort of a break even point I may consider it but I think I'll hold off until the airdrop apr15th. If the developers get their shit together and advertise like crazy and sell their idea to the techsavvy youth of Spain then this could take off like Aurora. If they keep fucking around and not advertising and making the mining mindnumbingly easy then it's a dead duck. For example I'm mining on one GTX660 right which only gets 250Kh/s and I'm getting like 3 or 4 coins a day. Thats crazy!!! The difficulty right now on my mining pool is 128!!!! Holy fuck batman! You could literally mine by pen and paper at that level. It needs to be 10 times higher like in the 1000 range to hold any of its value because people are just mining and dumping it for free cash, they aren't holding on to it. I can tell just by the sell orders.... 1.378899 5.65677788 .... shit like that. They are just dumping what they are mining instead of holding on to it which is fucking this coin and everyone who actually bought it. I fortunately only bought 28 and have mined about 10 in the last few days so I'm not getting burned really. But imagine the poor bastards who bought thousands when the price was $5! I imagine they can't sit down right now from the reeming they got over that one. Let's hope the Devs get their shit together before april 15th.
Thanks! I could not stand those price drops anymore. Especially when I lost so much investment and much potencial profit on BC. I was so big sheep, I just can't understand who the f*** moved my hand to get in this at it's hugest spike till now. So I wish good luck to everyone with SPA! Maybe my short term crypto world worker career is at it's end stage. Too much hours stolen from real life watching price swings, too much stress. Money earned with real work- intellectual or manual, is much more valuable than what comes from speculations. I know the greatest count of people will say, money is money, but for me it's like I said. Either way if we count money as energy, then this- cryptocurrency, energy is not the best you can get in your favour. It's like gambling, sometimes you win, sometimes you loose. Trading on exchanges alot of us are too novice to make our bread with that, me included. Also I consider this more on the level of sports betting and a hobby than an investment or money maker for me.. |
