You have the same problem I had on CoinAd with the 'remember me' thing.

www.coinurl.com != coinurl.com

The browser detects www. as a different website, so cookies created in coinurl.com are not available at www.coinurl.com.
You need to redirect users from www.coinurl.com to coinurl.com or vice-versa (you can either do that on your server settings or with php header).

I think the same thing happens with $_SESSIONS.
Enabled auto redirect to non-www domain. Please report if you see some errors.

Can you add a undo button, so I can go back in time an undo what I did a few minutes ago?)
No, and likely never be possible! The business model of Daily Bitcoins requires motivating users to stay on the page as much time as it possible before taking prize, but UNDO button will reduce average time spent.

I have received a suggestion and implemented search capability for the shortened links.

E.g a service tax for servers on all incoming funds. I know it would annoy users but ultimately it keeps the service stable.
Charging fees from incoming payments (i.e. deposits made by advertisers) is very bad idea. Advertisers, not publishers create income stream for the CoinURL and if they feel any inconvenience, it could have negative impact on the revenue.
Currently I am trying to get enough income by forcing publishers, who withdraw funds, to donate some share to the service.

Realistically you should be able to make an easy 100USD a month and just put the site onto a cloud VPS? Saves a lot of hassle.
Right now CoinURL is located on the virtual server with dynamic resources (total 16 CPU cores and 12 GB RAM) for about $20/month. If there is little load on the hosting's server from other customers, CoinURL shows excellent performance. But in some days (absolutely randomly, occurs about 1 time per few weeks) overall load on the server becomes extremely high and hosting's administrator imposes temporarily limits for me (he told that other hosting's customers complain for the poor performance and they have no other choice that limit resources for me, because CoinURL is the most resource-consuming site they host). In this case you see this annoying "max_user_connections" error.

I tried to measure performance on the dedicated XEN VPS with single core 2.4 GHz and 1 GB RAM. Result: very far from enough!

If I would start accepting non-Bitcoin users, I expect growth for tens of times in short time, server resource consumption most likely will rise so dramatically that $10-20k mainframe will be required.

Right now profit margin is VERY FAR from be enough to hire employees.

My closest goal is to raise enough fund to purchase physical server and I am trying to save as much Bitcoins as I can.
1486  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [CoinURL] All ways to monetize your content! on: October 24, 2012, 01:58:12 PM
Hire.
What do you mean?
1487  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [CoinURL] All ways to monetize your content! on: October 24, 2012, 01:22:12 PM
this was more likely a suggestion for the future, or do you wanna stay 100% BTC related?
I don't impose restrictions on the sites advertised, non-Bitcoin advertisers also welcome!

When I will start accepting other deposit options apart Bitcoin, there will be much more different advertisers. But this is not easy from many points: technology (most likely number of publishers will increase so high that only physical dedicated server will be able to handle load), legal and personal (I have little free time for next few months).

Inexpensive ad slots available on Daily Bitcoins Payments page!

Does this apply if I load/refresh the prizes page or some other page in another tab, or just the main page which shows the prize?
Quote becomes invalid when you refresh or open main page in another tab (http://dailybitcoins.org/index.php).
Prize is attached to the session, so if you open main page in the different browser previous quote will not be invalidated.

Another reason why some users have received prizes with the value different to displayed on the image:

If you have opened new tab or browser instance with dailybitcoins.org URL after seen an image with prize and before clicked "Send" button, this prize will be invalidated. The prize in new tab becomes valid.
1492  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [CoinURL] All ways to monetize your content! on: October 23, 2012, 07:16:32 PM
another question: is it possible that only aurumxchange has some ads running with you? i only get this one.
You see only this concrete ad because advertiser have chosen some keywords present on your site or selected your site to advertise exclusively. Don't worry, CPC of targeted ads guaranteedly will be higher than network-wide.

and a suggestion, i would love to use ur site once there is enough non BTC ADs for non BTC related sites, care to make ad filter section for this too?
While CoinURL don't have any non-Bitcoin advertisers, this filter is useless.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare dbbannerconnect() (previously declared in /home7/bitlatsl/public_html/coinurl.com/data/dbconnect.php:4) in /home7/bitlatsl/public_html/coinurl.com/data/dbconnect.php on line 14
On which page it happened?

seems like a double include, use require_once or include_once Wink
I know. But too many use of include_once can cause some performance penalty.
1494  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Where do I get free Bitcoins? on: October 22, 2012, 09:17:57 PM
I keep hearing that the transaction fees will be higher than the amount we get in from these sites.
Fee is being charged by Bitcoin network if you spent small prizes too soon. If you wait few days or bundle many transactions (on Daily Bitcoins it is possible now) you will not have to pay any fees.
1495  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Dailybitcoins.org] Bitcoin faucet, sponsored by ads on: October 22, 2012, 06:15:59 PM
A mutex have been implemented in the prize displaying script. Now you guaranteedly will receive the same prize that was displayed on the image.

Feel free to report if problem still persist.
1496  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [CoinURL] All ways to monetize your content! on: October 22, 2012, 02:41:46 PM
Then implement it, i mean there was enough ppls asking for it Wink For a good product u have to meet the wishes of ur clients.
It is already implemented. Just sent me an e-mail and your account will be deleted.
1497  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [CoinURL] All ways to monetize your content! on: October 22, 2012, 01:56:59 PM
Unfortunately problem with hosting still persists...
1498  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [CoinURL] All ways to monetize your content! on: October 22, 2012, 01:56:22 PM
how about NULL'ing the fields instead of DELETE?
When I need to lock some cheater account I do exactly as you said - set NULL password, which makes impossible to ever use this account.

i ment in in relation to deleting your account, therefore ppl can "delete" their accounts.
It is also possible.
1499  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [CoinURL] All ways to monetize your content! on: October 22, 2012, 01:44:21 PM
We are experiencing temporary problems with the server. Don't worry!

UPD: Seems issue solved now!
