1481  Other / Meta / Re: Merit questions on: March 13, 2023, 10:38:40 PM
I have been here since 2017 and have Total time logged in: 16 hours and 55 minutes.

How does this Merit thing work? I am defiantly not asking for free or just handouts but I don't understand it.

If I want to give someone a Merit can I not because I am a Newbie? Or do I need to upgrade membership first?
You've been here since 2017 and you can't even know your left from right? Aha? Is this a dream or in real life? How did you discover 'em passphrase after 51/2years? It's funny..
Well, you haven't gotten any merits and you can't equally merit anyone for that reason; you're not even gonna be shown an option whether or not to merit anyone....all you'll do is to try your possible best to make constructive Post; maybe, possibly the same thing you were tryna avoid in the years past, I'm afraid you have to go back and read the rules so you'd know them. Check out for a sticky notes on the B/H board.

Hi I'm a newbie here and would love to ask for advices on how to have a good background here?

Is merit important and should I interact more?

Can you guys suggest any advice thanks a lot!
It's important and you need to get them if you must rank up...
Try as much as possible to make quality post that will attract people's interest....how ?? Give positive or negative replies (depending on the concept, idea or area of discussion), make good references to the source quote of the idea in question ( just for proper confirmation)...and for the fact that some peeps are usually very inquisitive.
Lastly, I'd advice you to "be yourself" .. don't tryna force out something that's not already imbedded in you; learn and teach in a reciprocating measure, you'll have 'em coming in without stressing out.

Enticing promo banners but tncs that make these promos largely useless and these tncs aren't obvious from looking at banners. Upon click they redirect you to login/registration page whereas I feel click on to banner should redirect user to that particular promo's tnc.
Those promos ain't useless dude,... remember that's exactly the same reasons why they're being paid for; you won't expect them to organize a sort of - giveaways without earning from it.
Anything that'll be of good benefits to the masses , that's done to promote a casino must certainly have terms and conditions... which means they're not actually free, there are taskes to perform to get them.

Inter Milan are not really in their best at form at the moment but I expect them to win tonight, yes is no going to be an easy game like you have said because spezia has not been able to record a win against Inter Milan, but I think win is not going to be today, Inter Milan droped point in there last game so I don't expect them to drop another point today. Inter Milan will be going all out tonight to get all three points. Let's watch till the 90 minutes is over but to me is a win for Inter Milan
The game is just about to begin in the next 8 minutes away....
This is one of their worst forms since I began watching inter Milan play along, in the history of Seria A, not TOO bad, not totally good, just a kinda struggle to keep it together... MILAN's even worst than inter though....to the point that I'm wondering what's happening??
Well, they won against leece in their last match and here they are with spezia, and they have to win. They're still holding on to the second position for the fact that they' go with lead over Lazio with 2 points ahead of them... Things are really gonna look ugly if they lose this particular match as they'll have no other choice but to step below.

This happened to me once but on sports and with a little bit higher amount.

Instead of 0.01btc I bet 0.1btc. when the price was around 15000$ . Needless to say that the bet of course lost.

That time this was a good amount of my previous winnings and ever since I have only kept and played with small amounts in my account.

Expensive lesson!!
You must have had that much in your casino wallet to have wagered them, so why should you? Why should you prefer to HODL 'em coins of such worth on a centralized casino wallet, with the hope to bet on with them? I'm just happy you came to realized how costly your mistakes were, but the sad part Is that you learnt it the hard way.
I haven't made 'em mistakes on much funds anyways; but it actually happened twice when I was a cashier in a show-room casino...I wagered twice the initial amount for the game, so I had to pay for it from my pockets..... serious lessons to learn.

Even Harry Kane said that top four finish wouldn't be enough for a successful season for Tottenham.
Besides I wonder if they will manage to keep Kane in the team this summer. Because after another poor season I don't know if Kane would be motivated to stay.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1633916267739348993?s=20
Tottenham remains the team I had loved the most during my childhood days; I loved everything about them, their jersey and stripped socks gave a look of resilience, even though they were in Thier best forms then and, they had a couple of toughly-belt defenders and strikers.
Then Kane came in and it was all incomplete without him; I understand that as time fades, he's relented a bit and cannot push hard due to some life factor, his age. I still believe Kane that if Kane and other old players should call off the deal and the team possibly finds a good replacement for them, they could possibly be renaissance, only that it'll take a little more time... (But that doesn't mean that Tottenham's problems are the old players with them)

Juventus won 1-0 I expected them to score more goals.  Manchester United, on the other hand, played perfectly.  Real Betis disappeared in the match.  Liverpool seem to have just gotten over their defeat.  They continue their path in the European league in a devastating way.  Arsenal's draw really surprised me.  I was expecting an absolute win against Sporting Lisbon.
Man United really took Thier team business seriously this time around, since they realized that if they had dared to missed this particular match, against betis, they'd have lost their position definitely so they had to win; and not just a narrow win, but a win with a big goal difference.
I'm not even surprised that man Utd won against betis; cus Thier form is currently terrible and any team with a bit of coordination could get away easily with alot of goals, just as man United did. The performance has earned them 3 points to 6, making them stand firm below sociedad.

Napoli is comfortably leading the league table and if they can manage and beat Atalanta at home on Saturday, then the battle for who wins the scudetto wouldn't be that  fierce again. So I think their main worry right now is how to put up a great performance not just in their second leg match against Eintracht Frankfurt which I think they've won the tie already but also in the rest of the competition. I think they might be the dark horse of this season's Champions League campaign and I won't be surprised if they make it to the semi-finals or even final of the European cup this season.
It's getting to a time when the Italiano League 1 would be getting very interesting as one club isn't allowed to dominate the league....like when it happened in the days, when Juventus were often made the Titans of Italy and maybe, a couple of teams would compete below them for the rest of the slots left.
Napoli didn't do well in Thier match as they lost against Lazio,.. a win that looked very impossible to have, but was achieved.  Lazio is currently maintaining their 3rd position while Atalanta has been the 6th.

Real Madrid got draws in both of their last two games in the league. I think it is time for them to start winning again. Their next game is a home one against Espanyol. This is a very comfortable game for Real Madrid on paper. Benzema isn't expected to play due to ankle injury but I still expect them to be comfortable in this one. They need to start making up for their recent mistakes in the league.

Even if they struggle to get close to Barcelona from now on they should still try their best in the remaining games. Because Ancelotti would be criticized if they don't win either of the La Liga and Champions League titles.
I'm surprised to see real Madrid slag that much and on the other hand, it seems benzema haven't been endowed with so many good luck to rescue them, just as the way he does normally.
Even though the win for Barcelona against Madrid was a narrow one, I wasn't expecting something of such, mostly in a period where they had to win matches to get to the top....so appalling. Now they're gonna be made to face their worst nightmares, Liverpool...lol, in just hoping it doesn't count up to say -- 5 -nill??

I think with the recent change in performance for Chelsea, the possiblity of sacking Graham Potter will just be suspended for now. My Chelsea friends will be disappointed that Potter will be escaping the sack letter, but who knows, Potter could turn out to be the savior after all. Personally I would love to see that happen lol.
Definitely, anything is possible.... Graham could become the key manager in Chelsea , it all depends on the performances and improvements; AFAIK, it's not easy to evolve a dead team into the NEW LIFE, with the current form and strength of this whole premiership tournament, and the how competitive it looks,...
I'm actually seeing Chelsea getting into the limelight sonner, but that's not just gonna be a piece of cake yunno. I'm not saying this cus they won a match against brussia Dortmund, I'm convinced cus they once had the potentials and I believe that with the same strength, they could take back Thier place.

Hehe....is this supposed to be some kinda joke or what?? Could matches be bet by the masses even when they've been told that it's definitely conveyed upon a written script? Hmmm, well it depends on the informations they've got though; maybe if they've got someone in there that would possibly feed them with weekly predicted options. Bettors would definitely have a slimmer chances of winning without some good Nuggets.
I knew since a long time that matches under WWE are normally scripted and I'm not getting any surprised....with 'em fake punches, slides and stunts....it didn't even look real to me anyways.

Again, I can't emphasize this enough! The sight of such a remarkable accomplishment being accomplished by another person is inspiring. Remember that reaching your goals frequently requires stretching yourself beyond of your comfort zone. It's true that not everyone has the financial means to take such high-stakes risks, but we can all learn a lesson from this player's dogged perseverance and ability. It's a reminder that success isn't automatic, but that with dedication and tenacity, everything is possible.
This sort of accomplishment doesn't move me that much....in the sense that it's gonna come once in a long while.. (usually unexpected), so I totally disagree with the fact that being dedicated and tenacious could POSITIVELY fetch something good at the end of the day, without any RISK involved at all, or does it?? Cus that's atleast the way I see it. It only serves as some random trials, since you ain't even certain about having a winning over any game wagered... So it definitely cuts sometimes, for some set of Lucky peeps, Not everyone. It might get too hard for anyone else.

That's actually the best decisions you've made in your HODLing career, cus you can't afford to lose too much since you' just got started; if that happens, it'll alter the trust you have for the whole, BTC'S systematic measures, and you can't dare to trust the process even when you've been convinced otherwise.
Investing in Bitcoin isn't a wrong choice -- for the fact that I keep attesting everyday to that doesn't mean I made them myself to be too sure about them, but the resilience over the years have taught alot (myself included) how to trust this digital processes,(since it hasn't failed TOTALLY right from inception). You wouldn't Wanna fall a victim of the FTX bankruptcy right?? Rhetorical anyways...

You may think that Bitcoin is to grow your money but there are some situations where Bitcoin is to make your money smaller. As you may hage know that cryptocurrency price are not stable unless it is a stable coin that is pegged with USD like USDT. Well, investing in Bitcoin is all about making your money grow in whatever ways that you will use to make it grow. There are some benefits that we can enjoy unlike using banks for fiat currency.
Not particularly, whole idea about this is that it ain't a "get -rich-quick" syndrome, No!!! If you hope to have 'em coins appreciation several times in a year just to make alot of interest, then you'll automatically suffer the pain of your cash deteriorating massively.
But in as much as you have the idea about how the whole system is made to function, you won't get perturbed when 'em cash Capital crashes badly. This is most importantly the reasons why we should learn deeply about BTC first, before investing. I guess it's apparent why this great site was created, yeah.

Chelsea has now three opportunities to play against teams that are not in top shape in the Premier League. Perhaps this win against Dortmund now gives them a push and they can improve. If they started a winning streak now of three consecutive games, they would afterwards host the game against Liverpool and that could be their final chance to keep a realistic probability for the qualification for the international ranks in the table. I doubt that they can still make it 1-4, but if they win a lot of games the Europa League could still be achievable.
Chelsea doesn't even have that resilience to withstand Liverpool In a match as long as this tournament is concerned; they proved themselves Worthy of defeating any team since the very moment they got away with a cleansheet AGAINST Man U that ended in a 7:0 victory.
It's not particularly about the goals conceived by Man U, it's about how uncoordinated thier gameplay was....the kept struggling as the goals kept banging in. Meanwhile, Liverpool has been in their worst forms this season before this big defeat, so I don't think any team would easily win a game against them just yet,...most especially as they've been able to secure the 5th position.

We've got alot of peeps into this whole Bitcoin world, but they don't even know how best they could make their SAFETY, FREEDOM AND ACCESSIBILITY guaranteed. All they know is -- make enquires on how to buy and HODL 'em coins -- and when these set of peeps log on the net, they get scammed easily since they're really interested in getting them worth enlarged stupendously.
I'm gonna say that for everyone that knows the PROs and CONs of BTC as a currency, they'll always try as much as possible to preserve them seed phrase and keys... Protecting them depends on individual difference though.

Consistency is key as you said; but there are sometimes different views to that... it could be really unprofitable yeah? Cus what's the point of doing the same thing over and over again with the same results? (Which ain't even better off and, majorly the reasons why you keep trying is because you need a change?)? You see the point??
Sometimes, it's also advisable to be less sentimental on issues that ain't really ascertained; yeah,? As long as you're into something and all you've got is "hope" to continue, then you have to diversify several means to make it work,...one of them could be attaching a different perspective of understanding to what you're doing....

1500  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can old people use bitcoin? on: March 07, 2023, 10:37:24 PM
Bitcoin isn't meant for everyone to HODL or have in stock personally; cus even when it was cheaper to get, people had different reasons NOT to HODL 'em; some would've been saying that's a major SCAM, some would've been saying it's not gonna survive the next series, some would even think since it's free with some strenuous technical practices, they shouldn't be interested in something that'll end up engaging Thier whole time to understand just yet, talk more of earning from it.
So, in my opinion, I don't think they'll be a time that Bitcoin would be made too simple enough to meet the criterion of understanding for lower class grannies. They'll simply have to step up to learn if they wish to adapt to the modern world.
