1481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO will be replaced by IEO on: March 14, 2019, 01:41:05 PM
And I thought it will be STO which will be next in line.

Is it really that profitable in creating this kind of services for them to copy anything they like?
I mean there is a bunch of ideas out there which needs funds but why this kind?!

What's next? IOU? Grin
Crap, they are filling the crypto world with bullshit. Then small investors will be the victim again.

STO seem not working due to the laws around it. We see some teams having a hard time already.

I am not aware about how the funds are going to be sent by the exchange to the team though, but would it be thru every milestone?
IEO should be the next big thing for exchanges, holding the funds for the team would be much trusting than giving it all to the team which can become scam one day.
1482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why do Banks ask for income source for bitcoin sold payment on: March 14, 2019, 01:27:08 PM

Its not the first that had happen actually I have read some post in here which was far worse. I myself was asked by a local bank to present some documents about my source of income, luckily I have an online job for which I do in upwork. ITs going to be necessary for them specially if you unload huge amount of money which they don't normally see happening with your account.
1483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you hate the most about your current exchange? on: March 14, 2019, 01:13:37 PM
If you complain about higher transaction fees, there are some which doesn't ask more.

There is not much to complain about exchanges after all if you don't like the current one, you can move on to another exchange. The only thing you might complain to is a coin without much volume in an exchange where its listed. Its going to be the fault of the team or to the community of the project.
1484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There will be many tokens that go to zero. on: March 14, 2019, 11:57:45 AM

When they say "most coins" I wonder whether they just mean shitcoins because up to now, there isn't anything stopping the trading. There ain't no news which token has turned zero. Coins that are listed on exchanges already may not really goes zero because even just with less than 100USD of volume, a trader can set a buy or sell order  for a higher price. Nothing so far has turned zero.

Current Status on the Platform Development

Dear community members,

We would like to summarise the results of the expiring year and inform all of you about the progress in the platform development.

Upon the completion of the ICO, the Bubbletone team had a test version of the blockchain-based platform. Since that moment, our development team has been working on a production version of the platform. The launch of the production version is planned for Q1 2019. For the launch to take place, we are going to deploy approximately 15 nodes.

PoC

We have also been conducting a proof of concept (PoC) with several mobile operators. PoC is a demonstration, the purpose of which is to verify that our concept has the potential for real-world application.

Implementation of PoC is a complex process accompanied by a number of technical difficulties. For the main use cases, which are the most claimed by operators, PoC can be described in the following simplified way:

Read the full story here:
 https://medium.com/bubbletone-blockchain-in-telecom/current-status-on-the-platform-development-e2d5749bf8a9

Q1 is over. Where is the launch of the production version? Moreover, what utility does UMT have in the product you are developing with the funds raised from the sale of umt? These tokens were sold on the notion that they could be staked for a share of the revenue.

Hello, sumthinknew. The development of the platform is in progress and a new version of the WhitePaper will be published at the end of Q1 or at the beginning of Q2. We are going to held AMA session with Bubbletone CEO and we would like to invite you to participate in it. The session will be held at the official Bubbletone Telegram channel on Wednesday, March 20, from 11 AM to till 1 PM London time. Also, we are going to publish information about the current status of platform development soon.

Good to see the team is still didn't abandoned the project unlike those team who suddenly quit blaming the bear market for their unfortune.  The team didn't enlist this token apart from hitbtc though, maybe this will change one day if there will be more partnership with more communication providers in the future. Perhaps it will also be listed on CMC one day.

1486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Too late too buy BNB?? on: March 13, 2019, 03:34:43 PM

Saves you big amount of fee when you invest on BNB after all there will be time when you will be trading there in binance.
BNB will always go up due to traders wanting to have discounts in trading fees. Its never too late, I only have few BNB with me but I kept it even with this bear market. The rise of BNB price indicates trading in crypto is getting more volume.
1487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: currency exchange on: March 13, 2019, 03:16:41 PM
I suggest you use some service like instaswap changelly easyrabbit coinswap etc...

They do not require kyc, are reliable (for small amounts) and are fast and cheap
Is this method safe. Do they take advantage of that?
How to exchange. How much is equal to eth vs bitcoin.

It's safe. I use it a lot. Changelly is good, but it's nice to compare different sites do get the best rate.

They take advantage as they charge a small % of your conversion. If the Volume is small, that's ok because withdrawal fees in exchanges are high but for high volume exchanges are usually better.

You usually receive the converted coin in less than 30mjnutes.
Thank you. I want to exchange a small amount.
Do you advise me to collect them until they become larger? Then I replace them.

I have never used changelly after being so long in crypto. There are tons of exchanges where you can exchange your ETH to BTC so long as the exchange is in the business for a long time, you can assure to get your BTC out of the ETH. Most of us prefer binance actually, its the most popular so far that we know today.

1488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF is finally here? on: March 11, 2019, 03:54:41 PM

There is not much excitements going on after is being announced today. No one seem to be panic buying. I think the idea that people can just buy certification about owning BTC isn't quite helping the market.  It doesn't mean a bid in the market but just a paper. Its no wonder we lose the excitement. Countries like Russia are already making some regulations about crypto which is more exciting.
1489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did you the sudden rise? on: March 11, 2019, 03:24:38 PM

The news about ENJ is all over, people buy through the updates its not wonder the price spikes.  The rest of us must have been waiting for its price to drop but it continues to rise. Wish good luck to the holders. Samsung is really one hell of a company who is advancing their way through crypto.

1491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John Mcafee on: March 10, 2019, 06:50:15 AM

He's good but just don't take all that he said seriously specially his predictions, for all we know he might be dead before he sees BTC price go more than $25K. He contributed to make price spikes thru his paidtweets, he may have contributed a lot to make crypto reknown but also made a lot of investors unhappy with the results.
1492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Public sale or pre ICO? can't decide on: March 07, 2019, 03:27:06 PM

Only few survives holding altcoins so chances of you getting much profit after investing an ICO is to sell the coins the first change you get when its listed to an exchange and then hold BTC tight before buying back granting the project is solid. FAIREUM isn't somewhat I've heard before so I tried looking into the project and saw the team is big as a crowded room and has lots of partner which which is good. If its for gambling then this isn't the first project you know about gambling. Think before investing.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem Added to Huobi, Price Shoots Up! on: March 07, 2019, 09:09:33 AM
So, Steem recently got added to the Huobi exchange and the effects of that are reflected in the current price.
I'm personally very pleased with this, since I'm now earning about 20% more on my posts.

https://steemit.com/steem/@steemitblog/steem-now-on-huobi-exchange

I'm just hoping the price keeps increasing to $1 again.

it's funny because just few days ago i've read a thread, here, in this forum, about how steem was a dead coin.

That's why i love crypto Cheesy

Most of the time those who started those kind of topic are the ones eyeing to buy when it dips due to the thread he started. Some may dump because of the idea that if its dead, the price of the coin will dip further. But Steemit is a solid project of Dan Larimer, he even leave the project to the community which makes it even better. Its just a matter of time before the price shoots up again.
1494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recognize a good time to sell a coin? on: March 06, 2019, 05:36:59 PM

When price is right it should be a good time to sell.
Most of the time coins that will be listed for the first time will soon be dumped so if you are looking for profit, you could sell your coins the moment its listed. But be prepared because some of the coins also, though may happen very rarely, can go up right when they are opened to the market.
1495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trader Brutally Tortured on: March 06, 2019, 04:36:29 PM

Looks like I have been inviting robbers too as I have been wearing bitcoin king shirt for sometime in the school of my kid. What is more worrisome is that I don't have much BTC myself to give to my robbers. If a bitcoiner have luxurious car then he also invites robbers, its an advantageous for robbers to only victimize cryptousers as the coins are hard to take back.
1496  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-3-2]Cryptopia Crypto Exchange Lost 9.4% of its Holdings to Hackers on: March 05, 2019, 05:03:49 PM
The loss of around ten percent is minor compared with the damage that has been done to their reputation. Investors are going to flee with their funds to other exchanges. Topia won't survive for long

Or it could be the other way around. Since it already happened to them, they must know now how the culprits got in so they are now aware and are more careful for their security. I'd prefer to stay with them still if they manage to have my balance to be as is.

They can still regain reputation so long as they can still operate and have a volume. It all needs just marketing.
1497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Couple Uses Bitcoin Wealth to Build World’s First Seastead on: March 05, 2019, 04:34:55 PM

For anyone who is already used to working online can stay anywhere so long as they have internet access. You can try that kind of lifestyle living in a floating house but then if you have kids, it would be a different story.

The sea stead could expand into a grouping of sea steads and a small community of like minded folk will start the worlds first village on boats in international waters

I tried googling seastead, it seem like a small island which is going to be a costly for anyone unless you can reclaim one. Still a costly investment, I don't even think the government will consider a domicile.
1498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income from cryptocurrencies in 2019 on: March 04, 2019, 03:33:06 PM

Its been happening now since the NEO was created but there are several projects that was also doing great such as EOSBET that is also distributing dividends. Interestingly, EOSBET is distributing dividends everyday. On the other hand there are also projects that promises dividends back 2 years ago and now are gone like ETHbits  and TAAS which I think are not distributing dividends nowadays.
1499  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-3-2]Cryptopia Crypto Exchange Lost 9.4% of its Holdings to Hackers on: March 02, 2019, 04:45:37 PM

They should mention which coins and tokens are lost from the users, I still have my ADA and NEM on the orders before they close the exchange, so I wouldn't assume they are all gone too if they just declare which cryptocurrencies are affected. I'd be looking forward to seeing my funds when they get back online.
1500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steve Wozniak former Apple ceo is asked about his view on bitcoin on: February 28, 2019, 02:29:20 PM
But he says he sees it as the worlds single currency one day.

If he had said this before then I guess he took it back now. I wonder if its true that he sold out all the bitcoin he had and never get into it again. Its possible because after all he has more things to do than put all his strength into crypto. If Wozniak had once tried trading cryptocurrency then he must feel the thrill of this market, I doubt if he can resist the thrill.  Grin
