1481  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price drop? on: October 18, 2017, 09:12:18 AM
Is there any reason why the btc price is dropping that much today? Are people scared by the hard fork or why is it dropping?
I don't think if Bitcoin is drop because scared of the hard fork. People are not afraid of it even they prefer to hold bitcoin to get Bitcoin gold later.
1482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use BTC as a digital currency for paying online ? on: October 18, 2017, 07:33:07 AM
It was one on the issue Satoshi saw the world needed it. But as far now it mainly use is trading for speculation by the newbie and holding by one who bought it years ago.

Of course it needs to be legalised FIRST somewhere. But after that a, will you buy something online and pay in BTC ?
Or it’s just a form of investment like gold was a decade ago ?

Besides being an investment I also often use bitcoin to buy something with online like buying google play gift card and credit phone. It helps me easier to buy it. But i do not see yet big online shop accepting Bitcoin as their payment It will be good if they are.
1483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: October 18, 2017, 02:42:31 AM
Since bitcoin is trending now world wide because you can easily earn this and it exchange in real cash. Is bitcoin the new value of currency in the internet? Is he the new money? Can we use it in buying foods and etc in the future?
Currently, there are many people who know about Bitcoin and I see there are a few companies or sellers that accept payment using this money vitual. No wonder Bitcoin later will be become one of the recommended to be the internet currency that can be used to buy something.
1484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: October 18, 2017, 01:45:55 AM
Doesnt seem to be safe. I even afraid, that it is another scam.
I don't think so sir. BTG is just like BCH which there is a previous fork. I think they are same and only have differences value.
1485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to get safe in myetherwallet (MEW) on: October 18, 2017, 01:14:44 AM
Most people who use this wallet are get hacking because they do not see the url details of the websites they visit. MEW site has many copies so be careful if you want to visit it. It could be your wallet data can be recorded.
1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: October 17, 2017, 03:17:22 PM
I don't think if there is any people save their Bitcoin just for fun. People are saving must have a purpose one of his purpose is to make a profit. In order for the finances to be managed later.
1487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or altcoin, which is better to invest into now? on: October 17, 2017, 01:47:37 PM
Although the current Bitcoin price soared but on another side altcoin prices dropped. From both the right investment to make a profit is investing in altcoin it depends on the coin you use. Recommended Altcoin which good to invest is coin with high volume and price movement is pretty good investment on altcoin also the price can be doubled or more.
1488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2017, 10:21:34 AM
As I said in the title. I was interested in putting my money into Bitcoin because of the ever-increasing price.
But I want to know what the biggest risk is to hold Bitcoin?
AFAIK there is no risk when holding Bitcoin because the price is always good on every time. Just maybe when holding bitcoins for long term It could not be safe that is why we must save the backup data or private key to secure it.
1489  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange Bittrex began to block accounts!!! on: October 17, 2017, 09:28:16 AM
Hello everybody!

1490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: October 17, 2017, 08:28:43 AM
I see a lot of optimism about bitcoin, which is understandable seeing the price recently.
But I have to admit I'm a little worried about the long term future of btc.
The major problems if the currency still haven't been dealt with. I see 2 major ones:

-Block size. Which makes the delay and fees of transaction rise very fast. Smaller transactions are more and more difficult to make.
-The centralization of the market. China got low cost electricity, which make them by far the most bitcoin mining capable.
-And maybe others that I'm not aware of.

Another thing: The Hard forks that are oddly getting much more frequent than before. (BCH, BTG, Segwitx2 etc...) It almost looks like "attacks" in order to divide us. Now called "airdrops" by the community. Even though they're supposed to solve some of the problems.

All in all, this makes me really worried about btc future. I've been a strong holder since 2014, and I made quite a lot of money with bitcoins, but I begin to doubt now, even though the price is crushing ATM. Please help me keeping faith. Or should I switch to another currency ? Really thinking about ETH recently.
If bitcoin does not survive I do not see any other currency taking bitcoin place, so if you want to get out of bitcoin I will suggest to get out of cryptocurrencies completely, and about the hard forks it is very obvious the forks are not being created to solve anything, it is just an attempt to make money with bitcoin’s name and at the same time to attack bitcoin and see if people fall and accept one of these awful coins as the new dominant coin.
If bitcoin does not exist then all altcoin or cryptcurrency will also vanish in my opinion. Because most altcoin is based on Bitcoin. Some cryptocurrency life is dependent on the survival of bitcoin.
1491  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: October 17, 2017, 07:21:41 AM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?
I think they are the bitcoin value will not be high if there is no investor who has a lot of money that is Investor billionare. Investors who invest in bitcoin may not want to expose themselves. No wonder they are investing quietly.
1492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: October 17, 2017, 04:24:49 AM
Dogecoin is my favorite old altcoin. After i know bitcoin then I learned about altcoin where the first altcoin I knew was Dogecoin. This coin I think has potential in the future. Although there are many coins and tokens but not possible Dogecoin will not create new hope to return to the surface. I'm sure this coin has a huge potential later.
1493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: October 17, 2017, 12:31:58 AM
I have all my coins in on an online trading site (paxful) (low volume)

I plan on making a large investment very soon, and want to safely store all of my coins
I.E I basically want to drop a couple thousand, and keep them in the safest possible way, where I can revisit them in 5-10 years or so and reap the benefits, or cry about the loss.

What is the best way to do this, and what's the best way of ensuring a backup?

How do you currently store your coins

thanks in advance for any inputs

I just store my coins in trusted online wallet like blockhain. I also have the private key just in case something happens to the site.
1494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth fork on: October 16, 2017, 01:46:38 AM
What is going after eth fork? Will eth grow up or not?
Do not know exactly but the Ethereum after fork will improve their developtment. If it has happened hopefully the network is better and there will be no hacking happening again. There is anyone know about when the Ethereum fork will be held?
1495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or BCC or BTG on: October 16, 2017, 12:21:31 AM
why we need three different version of bitcoin ??
BCC and BTG is just clone of Bitcoin who do not have any plan in the future. Not required actually that is just have one version there is BTC no others.
1496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC effect on altcoins on: October 14, 2017, 02:46:21 AM
At this time we can see Bitcoin is rise to excellent price and the rising effect was very influential on altcoin. No wonder if so because altcoin follows bitcoin so whenever bitcoin rises then altcoin will go down. Investors are more interested investing on coins that have value movements that tend to rise.
1497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins for 2-3 years holding! on: October 14, 2017, 01:43:59 AM
Hey guys, I wanna hold some alts for 2-3 years. Can you advise me some? I am thinking about Bitquance, XVG, OMG, NEO....anything else?
Holding coin for long term it's absolutetly profitable but it depend on coins you hold. If like Ethereum or Token based on Ehtereum token have bright future i think.
1498  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: October 14, 2017, 12:36:13 AM
It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.
It possibly happen but it will not destroy the fiat system. Bitcoin is being popular at this time maybe in 2022 will be more people are plan to use this currency. Bitcoin also have is own system who can be used like alternative payment.
1499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: October 11, 2017, 02:38:49 PM
I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.
Of course Altcoins will have a future because altcoins is the best place after bitcoin for investors to investing some money. I also though that ETH and Altcoins maybe have good future later. And there is so many altcoins will use them for real.
