Last few rounds, looks like it makes sense now just wish there was a line for my score thats all. and my hash is under 50 just dont want to admit how little it really is cause you would die laughing but like I said running this as a model and not as income generation yet.

Plenty of miners have a hashrate of ~ 35 Mhps (like you).

Which reminds me organofcorti - you said you may find time for an updated blog entry - have I missed it or have you been too busy (watching day time tv - jeremy springer Smiley )

I think I've done that, ok he may be a troll but not currently, been an admin understand the head ache but at least he answered me. I think i've been short and to the point. Very happy with slush's pool just want to understand (as best as I am able) what i'm doing and how to monitor what i'm doing. I'm ok if my final answer is "i have no freeking idea what is happening, I basically trust slush, and I'm making some extra money so all is ok." but I follow the adage to never invest in something you dont understand or at least understand how to find answers. I've read the posts and I was impressed how the last hacking incident was solved and I hope to be able to help others later on.
You know why I'm a troll? Because I came out and say there are currently problems with the pool and there is no Slush to fix them. I also helped some others users that were having problems to figure out that it is not them but pool. Now that the Slush is back he confirmed all of the problems that I was talking about. But that makes me a troll. Nobody is allowed to say there is a problem or you are a troll or an idiot according to digital and nottm28. Now I'm just waiting for Slush to confirm that stratum problem is solved so I can move miners back to the pool.
Ok I'll stay out of that I'm new here and unless you treat me like a troll I dont really care. but does it sound to you guys (all above) like I have some clue or do I sound like a babbling iddiot.  as far as not getting a reward here are the numbers when I got none for reward

Looks about right for the hardware you are using - yes, sounds like you are well capable of understanding - mining is a minefield when you first start. I don't blame you for starting slow while you wait for new GPU hardware so you can get the lay of the land. The thing is though, CPU's mine so slow compared to the other hardware (GPU's and now a massive uptake of ASIC's) that you will only be submitting a few shares per round. This means your earnings will fluctuate wildly. When your new kit arrives you will see more of a constant kind of earnings - but you have to keep in mind luck plays a part too - so you may see double earnings one week, half the next etc.

Read those links I posted - they helped me understand loads.

Actually he is being a lot of help to me understanding what is going on. He might be a real pain in the rear sometimes but he is being more help than some others and at least he didn't ignore the nub trying to understand what the heck is going on instead of just blindly jumping in with my mark 10 fancy mining rig and wining that i'm not making serious bank like I thought I was going to because I didn't bother to learn about what I was doing in the first place. I understand markets and bullion and hardware math and such not so much.

Hey sg - nothing against you but thus lucko guy is just a troller - he doesn't even mine here - I'm glad you got some help from him but sorry I just don't like the character - click on his name and read his posts and you may see what I mean.

As far as help for newbies goes - this is the best pool of all. My tips to you when asking for help are:

1) Keep post short and to the point - people switch off with big newbie posts asking for help - if you keep them short and sweet then you'll get loads of help.
2) Search the forum for key words first - such as - NMC mining - if you are interested in that etc.
3) Be polite - this is a good community but coming in with big opinions usually doesn't go down very well...

Welcome to the pool - if you have a specific problem then please post short description - I'm sure you'll get help...

Cool - there's a guy on here who has done some of the most serious analysis I have seen

Nice to hear there's an ASIC in the pool somewhere! Cheesy How's the blade treating you?

It's great now that I have it up and running smoothly.  I had some wifi networking issues I had to resolve that were interfering with the device.  I primarily mined litecoin before this and never had an issue.  Stratum was hard for me to understand at first being that I have four rigs to keep track of, but I think I have a handle on things now.

The first few days I didn't trust the blade.  I slept with a fire extinguisher next to my bed lol... there have been some people with hot/melted wires but so far only the chips themselves are hot to the touch, which is by design I believe.  I have a box fan aimed at it and two 120mm case fans.  It's pretty impressive, actually, how well it performs now.

Go on then post a pic - you know you want to - we want to see Smiley

Sorry - scam - think?

Scam? How? My sites are no scam please.

Looks like a scam to me please

It is not. Well, i am not scared when people use this word, Since i have a clean record. I am looking forward to seeing people posting their payment proofs soon.

In addition, i  have been paying people via, paypal, payza, libety reserve and Amazon gift cards. I just introduced Bitcoin to my payment gateways and decided to let people know.

Clean record - yeah for months, years - oh - days

Please stop. I have been into this online business for years. The payment proofs people will post soon will be my witness.

ok i'll stop
1491  Economy / Services / Re: SEO your website. on: May 20, 2013, 11:17:35 PM
hmmm yeah ok
The key thing you need to realize is that this is not some sort of scam.

Just because my post count is below 100, doesnt mean im a scammer.

Also, the btc is not paid directly to me. It is paid through an escrow service. I wont be paid until the job is complete. Simple.

I'm interested - what does "I'll SEO your website" mean to you?

That's what I was thinking.. sounds like you've got different definitons of SEO..

You know I think I've been harsh on this guy thinking he meant online payments - put my hands up and removed my deflamatory posts - sorry pal - feel free to have a go...

[EDIT] I'll leave this post here to remind me of my bad... Apologies

Wow this is still going on...lol So guys when do you call a spade a spade? I'm glad i have my money in my pocket ;-)

will you still be 'lolling' when people are posting 'I have my asic' and you refunded and spent your cash on crap?

[EDIT] I decided to 'gamble' on a BFL asic - I still think it's a decent gamble and I should be able to gamble my own money if I want to - I can't stand all the posters complaining - you shouldn't have 'gambled' if you couldn't afford to lose the money. If you can't afford the 'gamble' - then request a refund - afaik - nobody has been refused a refund.

and this

http://www.itproportal.com/2013/04/17/amd-thrashes-nvidia-at-bitcoin-mining--will-the-gap-ever-be-closed/

Basically - a cpu (or nvidia) is very fast at saying "if this then do that" - whereas an amd is very fast at saying "let's all do this"

The guy doesn't even mine here. Just trolls.

I wont do it again...

Rate of invalid blocks is getting ridiculous,
18120    2013-05-20 15:38:18    0:04:08    Processing...    237069    25.16931001    99 confirmations left
Is not even found in blockchain.info

Hmm, Bitminter have had 2 invalids in last 12 days - we have had 9... I think there is something wrong now...
Good morning  Wink

Lucko, just because I think there may be a latency issue with bitcoind - doesn't mean I agree anything you say - and doesn't mean I still don't think you are a bit of an idiot. I'll stay mining here come what may and will not be slagging off the pool every five minutes.

But doesnt the fact that Slush hasnt even poked his head up to say hes aware make you somewhat concerned?

Like I said before - the bitching levels after his hack went to new highs - I don't blame him for not coming on here to deal with the constant moaning from people who constantly fail to read even the very post before them sometimes. The pattern usually goes like this:

Hey whats up with block xxx - I mined for 6 hours and it's saying nil points...
And then
Ah's it seems to have corrected itself...
And then
Yeah but there's still something wrong...
And then
Where is Slush
And then
BFL get slagged or something like that, then - what's up with block xxx

It's a pain because true issues are being buried in the barrage of posters like Lucko - you can't see the wood for the trees.
