If only Cryptopia would list ESP...they have a ltc market  Any updates with that? Well I believe the last time we checked they denied us because of "huge premine".... Which we argued against but they want a petition and a written Essay about why the project should be added... Honestly really don't have time for that right now. Although when I do I'll personally send a petition. EDIT: Hopefully Cryptopia decides to whitelist the project, it's one of the better exchanges out there. It's really simply! lets vote ESP on c-cex or maybe the dev can send a request to yobit for now to list ESP coin, yobit could be a cool place to start with unlike other unknown exchanges ESP is already listed on yobit.net , but we need for the meantime a ESP/LTC pairing which is none on yobit, that is why we are pushing for c-cex this time |

If you have your BTC still on your wallet, you may try to withdraw them. What happened with us is they have been in "delayed" mode before the exchange went down, and now those withdrawals have been swiped clean or removed and no trace except those email confirmations you received when you need to confirm the withdrawal. |

I have one btc withdrawal which was put to Delayed and it did not came through. I checked the transaction a while ago and it was not there along with the other withdrawals. I have PM you regarding that as well. |

An vulnerability has opened up for a specific user give themselves an insane amount of Bitcoins. These has been used to trade in the markets, balances has been re-arranged.
All in all, BTC, DOGE and ESP balances cannot be trusted, the vulnerability caused the attacker insert a transaction within deposit systems. But did not think that Novaexchange is a young exchange that doesn't bank a lot of coins. The total volume of BTC in the most important wallet was 3.82 BTC before the attack, not a huge amount but that does not mean it is not painful for some.
The attacker themselves did not get away with anything - actually it is happy users that got traded in ESP market during the last few hours that became happy they sold for BTC and withdrew everything. Which caused the wallet to go empty.
All trades and such is logged and I could technically do a rollback of all trades even if it will take a lot of time to sort everything out. Which would you prefer?
I am concidering to close down the exchange permanently once you have withdrawn your coins, unless the community gives any reason for Novaexchange to stay around. I wanted the site to become a serious player in this business with a lot of alt-coins that other exchanges refuses to trade, that was the idea behind Novaexchange.

Someone begins to appreciate Espers and its value or nova exchange is closing down .  Guess we will just have to see if that was a giant investment or a scam. Hope it's the first thing as I personally have ESP from buying with ltc I'd rather be able to keep and transfer out it really hurts when a person gets caught in things like this!!! MtGox was NOT my first "OUCH" it was my second big OUCH!! cryptsy??? Nope i didnt do the triple play! if ever possible to get your values out of there it might be worth the idea to stay away from issues! i would rather see everyone put their coins in their wallet and empty all exchanges leaving them dry! i know im dreaming but if your gonna dream "Dream BIG" cuz you never know when it might come true! I was able to withdraw other coins there right now , but BTC is delayed. Now let us see what happens. The main owner or rep of novaexchange made a post on this thread days ago, maybe we should try contacting that account too. |
