14801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethreum the new king of crypto? on: April 23, 2018, 01:07:22 AM
Hello Folk, is it the time for ethreum to lead from the front ? As bitcoin is going through rough ride along with other altcoins but ethreum is turning out to be more stable platform for investment and also new ICO's are based on ethreum. Do you think Ethreum will dethrone bitcoin from 1st rank of crypto this year?

Ethereum had a chance to overtake Bitcoin sometime in 2017, when the difference in the market capitalization for the two coins was only about 25%. But the ETH community couldn't capitalize on it and the opportunity was lost. It is quite difficult to predict whether ETH will get another chance in the future to overtake Bitcoin.
14802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your altcoin on: April 23, 2018, 12:55:46 AM
What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?

If you own a large number of altcoins, then it is not always practical to install desktop wallets for all of them. So most probably you will be keeping them in the exchange wallets. So there is a limit to the security precautions which we can take. Just enable 2FA and email authentication, and keep away from exchanges with dubious record.
14803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: April 22, 2018, 12:28:11 PM
Bitcoin, despite its high growth rate, is slowly becoming technically deficient. I still believe in ETH.  Smiley

I agree with you. Bitcoin, despite its enormous popularity is getting technically deficient. So the million dollar question arises. Is ETH also technically deficient? I guess so, and this factor is behind the rise of some of its competitors such as Stellar Lumens and NEO.
14804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH worth buying now or wait? on: April 22, 2018, 12:22:34 PM
The ETH price is now hovering at around BTC0.07, which is a bit above my expected range. I would have liked it around BTC0.05. You can purchase ETH if you want, but for me it looks over-priced.
14805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: April 22, 2018, 12:21:03 PM
Right now the altcoin which looks the most attractive is NEO. It is rapidly adding to its user-base in the Asian nations such as China, South Korea and India. Another alt which is worth considering is Cardano (ADA).
14806  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you want to create your own state? on: April 22, 2018, 05:35:14 AM
Liberland is doing just that. A guy has found land near Serbia or somewhere there that is unclaimed for one reason or another. He is extremely pro crypto as well!

The big question is how viable is his idea of an independent state. The territory is disputed between Serbia and Croatia. Currently both the nations don't want to control this piece of land, but that doesn't mean that in future they may let it go.
14807  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Electric Cars - The future ? on: April 22, 2018, 05:32:30 AM
I am very looking forward to the presence of electric cars, because the longer I feel the earth gets hotter, especially with the increasing number of vehicles now, the air becomes less fresh.

hopefully electric car can solve that problem

The burning of the fossil fuels can't go on forever. We don't have much time to save this planet. But the problem is that the current technology for electric cars is not viable for mass production. Electric cars need huge amounts of Lithium and Cobalt, and these minerals are not present in the earth's crust in required quantities.
14808  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kill Syrians because Syrians are killing Syrians... on: April 22, 2018, 03:50:00 AM

The Americans are getting more and more arrogant by the day. Why they are not invading powerful nations such as Russia, DPRK, China or Iran? They are invading only the weaker nations such as Libya and Syria. Their dominance in the world will come to an end very soon, as Russia and China are cementing their strategic alliance.
14809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 22, 2018, 03:47:04 AM
I was thinking the same thing, I think they perform so well even at this age is because playing in the IPL there isn't as much pressure as playing for your country so they can go out there and play their natural game where as playing for their country they might not be able to do that. Back in the day, players were retiring at these ages of 37 to 40 but now times have changed and players are retiring a lot earlier. So even at these ages they are still in good form.

T20 is a very short format and that may be one of the reasons. A T20 match lasts just 3 hours, compared to 8 hours for an ODI or up to 40 hours for a test matches. So it is more suitable for those players above 35 years of age, like Watson and Gayle.
14810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: April 22, 2018, 03:44:32 AM
Big consolation for the Minnesota Timberwolves to get a win in the on going series. Their first win in 14 year drought. This is an uphill battle for them since the Rockets is very strong team now.

The game was decided in the second half (especially during the 3rd Qtr). This win will be a morale-booster for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and hopefully they can get another win in their next match (on 26th April, if I am not wrong).
14811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL( Indian Premier League) Prediction Thread, 2018. on: April 22, 2018, 03:41:37 AM
Not only this is applicable between these aussies. If you check all the matches from the starting day. All the old players and very new players only contributing to the team well. Other people does not make well in anything even in bowling too.
First Dhoni, Next Chris Gayle and Then Watson. Old says they are gold ever.
Today also Devillers kicked out the DD team from the focus dude.
When it comes to sports the old will not always be gold, if that is the case we should bring back Viv who i think is the best batsmen of all time when it comes to attacking cricket. Tongue Good to see them perform, actually Watson retired from international cricket to focus this career on these T20 leagues around the world and that is the case with many players as the payment is fancy and the work load is small.

I partially agree with you. But it seems like Rajastan Royals preferred Steve Smith over Shane Watson due to the age factor, which was plain wrong. The only thing that should be considered is the talent and the form.
14812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: April 22, 2018, 03:32:04 AM
It's the longest coin I've ever seen. Maybe it doesn't have a formal death, or it's just waiting for time to improve it, it's still the top 5 cryptocurrency.

Nope.... not among the top 5. The last time I checked, EOS has overtaken Litecoin in terms of market cap. So Litecoin is currently at the 6th position, with a market cap of $8.20 billion. It is still a great achievement after all these years of struggling.
14813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: April 22, 2018, 03:09:11 AM
Scam or not, all that matters for us is returns. I invested in Deep Onion a few months back (I was never part of the airdrop), and I got decent returns from my investment. So I am happy with the coin.
14814  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price < $3000 soon on: April 22, 2018, 03:04:48 AM
I made my first investment in crypto almost five years back. Since then, I have noticed one important thing. Whenever the prices go up, the users will come up with extremely optimistic predictions, such as $100,000 per coin or $500,000 per coin. Similarly, when the prices go down the users will come up with just the opposite. They will claim that the coins are about to lose 80% or 90% of the value.
14815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices, are you excited about the situation? on: April 22, 2018, 03:01:43 AM
Prices are low and it is presenting a good opportunity ... are you excited about the situation? how do you exploit the retracement to your advantage?
Some investors are worried, but many of us are doing great business and will continue to do so in the coming days.
Which of the purchases of these days made you happier? did you do it on new products (new to you) or did you recover something that you missed in the past?
What are you keeping an eye on and hope to take during the next days?

If the prices are low, then that doesn't mean that they can't fall any further. That is why I have always argued for waiting till the prices get stabilized. And as far as I can see, the stabilization is yet to occur in the crypto market.
14816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can a newbie benefits from crypto revolution on: April 22, 2018, 02:54:36 AM
Your rank doesn't matter as far as crypto-currency investment is concerned. If you have a good knowledge about the crypto technology and can make a decent prediction on the future potential, then you are good to go. So it doesn't matter whether you have zero experience or ten year experience here.
14817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best altcoin? on: April 22, 2018, 02:49:38 AM
It is quite difficult to chose 1 coin from around 5,500 altcoins which are being actively traded now. I guess, by "best" altcoin you mean the one which has the potential to give the maximum returns, and not the one which is backed up by the best technology? In that case, I'd go with NEO.
14818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best bounty campaign to join right now on: April 22, 2018, 02:43:36 AM
It is difficult to select a single bounty campaign, as we don't know whether the tokens will be paid out on time, or whether they will be traded above or below the ICO prices once the campaign is over. I have participated in a number of bounty campaigns and the tokens received from most of these campaigns are completely worthless.
14819  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kill Syrians because Syrians are killing Syrians... on: April 21, 2018, 07:16:44 AM
War is money. It's unfortunate that the involve countries don't find ways to really end the war. When one war ends a new one starts, it is a vicious cycle and "We" can only watch the the players toy with people's lives.

There are always some little known reasons behind the major wars. With regards to Syria, it lies along the proposed gas and oil pipelines from the GCC nations to Europe. Without the consent of the Syrian government, this pipeline can't be built.
14820  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what about alwaleed suing the bbc? and there are 2 saudis I would love to see di on: April 21, 2018, 07:15:03 AM
I think I've heard the first one before and found it ridiculous. The last one though, first time heard it. Equally disgusting. I bet they'd all just cite diplomatic immunity like they always do.

Well.. that is the reality. The Saudis have tons of $$$ and they can do whetever they want to do. There are rumors that some of the Saudi princes keep secret harems in the desert, where slave girls from all around the world are being kept and abused regularly. If they are doing all these outside their own country, then just imagine what they will be doing within their national borders.
