you need to post in alt coin forum not here I asked mods to move. this.

I have spent the last 4 years writing treads in alt coin section and in this section.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5144362.0

I have 9 threads there since 2016 that link is to the latest one.

good luck.

I remodeled my basement bedroom it has the main panel I did a 60 amp to the garage  the garage now has a sub panel with 2 30 amp breakers.
14903  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Whatsminer M20s - In stock and March pre-order BEST PRICE YOU WILL FIND on: February 16, 2020, 10:45:07 PM
Hi Philip! No, that  price does not include shipping. I'll shoot over a DM!

Okay got the message.

To anyone else looking to buy dj_wldwst  was good to us back in 2018  with m10 gear.

I am trying to vette him to be sure it is the same guy.   He was trustworthy back in 2018.

I would offer to escrow the other pieces of gear if I decide he is the same guy and I think I will buy the 60th model
14904  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Running S17 or T17 from the dryer plug in US on: February 16, 2020, 06:56:46 PM
they can last 20 years or 20 minutes.

but when and it they ever get pulled loose they are a live wire with no protection.  Which is why they are a  safety hazard.

If I recall the photo where I mentioned it was unsafe you had multiple racks 6 feet high with multiple connections like the one in the photo above.

Not to be off topic as this is on topic.  I clearly told op to be careful he is using lethal amounts of  voltages and amps.

I would not want to splice multiple units and do what you did.  I would have purchased this pdu

https://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-228481-002-EO4501-Modular-PDU-Power-Distribution-Control-Unit/372792150975?

and replaced the plug with the l14-30r  and plugged into the dryer plug.

op wanted 1 unit  an s17 or a t17  so I told him a way that I think is safe and cheap.
I told him I am not trained in the field and it is dangerous to do this work.

if he mods the pdu with the dryer plug and runs 2 units pulling   about 4.4kwatts he should be okay.
14905  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: It is 2020 time for a new diff thread. on: February 16, 2020, 04:57:05 PM
the two combined at 8 to 9 %  if they don't rise in price   they will create a 4.5% shift over night in btc or miners will lose money sticking with them.

If we are to believe corona-v has stopped shipping for all of feb we will be flat -2 to +1 this jump which means we are good until march 11

lets say -1 on feb 25 next jump is march 10  it may be -1 to +1

gear finally ships and we get the better jump march 24

but  bch and bsv  could do pre ½ ing price rise causing a 4 or 5 % drop in btc mining and no new gear in site.

Last week the   earning spread was 16 for 100 th btc and as high as 18 for 100 th bsv

if this grows to a big enough number  btc could stay flat longer.  even when gear ships.

look at these numbers

btc  15.31 100th
bch  14.21 100th
bsv   13.75 100th

that is a big shift

it was

btc   16.25 100th
bch   17.25 100th
bsv   18.03  100th

yeah they are 9% of all the hash

but if    btc is 91%

they can  shift btc 3% up or down  which is 6% difference.

This could be pretty cool to figure out.
14906  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Running S17 or T17 from the dryer plug in US on: February 16, 2020, 04:24:39 PM
yeah but last I looked on my panel  both common and ground connect to same bar.

so what's the difference?

if you take a l14-30 plug

put the green wire to the l prong

and the white and black to  the hots   won't this work?

The Procedure for Wiring a NEMA L14-30 Plug

The cable to which you attach a 30-amp twist lock plug has to be a minimum of 10 AWG, which is one size larger than standard 120-volt residential cable. You need three conductors plus a ground. Two of the conductors, which are red and black, are hot wires, and one – the white one – is neutral. The ground wire, which may be bare or coated with green insulation, is required but it isn't considered a conductor. All 240-volt, 30-amp appliance cords conform to these specifications...

the 2 hots form the c19-c20 cable  and the ground/common

In my home my breaker box has 2 120volt hots and a common/ground bar

when I wire 120 I do black to one hot 120 then both the  white and bare ground to the common/ground bar.

when I do 220

I do 1 to hot 120
I do 1 to other hot 120
I do 1 to common/ground bar

I don't do 4 wire 220 wiring

which would be

1  to hot 120 A
1 to hot   120 B
1 to common /ground bar
2 to common /ground bar.

since his gear will use a 3 prong receptacle and the c19 to c20 is 3 wire

you wire to the 4 prong

1 to the hot
1 to the other hot

1 to the L shape prong   which I called a ground.
0 to the 4th spot.

both the L shaped prong and the 4th spot will go to the common/ground bar.

so whether you call it a common or a ground in either case they lead to the same spot.

14909  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Does anyone in USA want to sell a s17pro? on: February 16, 2020, 12:41:26 PM

Yeah that seems like the best deal.  Not going to get it as it is too pricey.
14910  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Does anyone in USA want to sell a s17pro? on: February 16, 2020, 04:59:07 AM
well if no one is shipping i dont need new gear diff will drop.

which is happening. we are down 2%.

we have 2ph a 2% diff drop is like a free t17.

best case is a month of no shipping diff drops 2% and then next diff drops 4%.

coins go to 11k.

Thats as likely as anything  else.
14911  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Does anyone in USA want to sell a s17pro? on: February 16, 2020, 04:11:26 AM
no worries prices all too high.

sucks used to be more fun then it is now.

I have multiple partners and they are all bargin hunting.

I can buy direct from offord scot s17 pro

https://t.me/asicMinerChannel/2204

1989 s17 pro 1989 shipping included

I was really looking for a better deal then that.

I won't buy

any Inno gear

s17e
s17+
t17e
t17+
t17

only

s17
s17pro
m20s

My partners and I have 43 + 79 + 32 points on 3 different bitmain accounts maybe they will be good for something.
14912  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Running S17 or T17 from the dryer plug in US on: February 16, 2020, 04:02:18 AM
https://www.amazon.com/Miady-L14-30P-Generator-Industrial-Grounding/dp/B078BNBYXR

10 bucks

so {monoprice  2x 13 to  c20}  >>>> {mono price c19 to c20}  >>>>  {amazon plug}

you cut the c20 on the middle wire   and attach hot hot ground to the l 14- 30 plug

20 bucks maybe 30.

you need to find a diagram on how to wire a l 14- 30 plug  with hot hot  ground

Note legal disclaimer : It is mechanically sound plan.  But I do not know your code for your state.

using 240 volt 30 amp power circuits can kill you maim you or your loved ones.  so the work is on you not me.

I am self taught via years of practice so if you do what I suggest here it is on you to do it right.

run s17 or t17 or s17 pro

Second note
s17e
s17+
t17e
t17+

all pull a shit ton of power over 3000 watts they are borderline to use with the 2x c13 to c20 spilt cable.

I do run 1x t17+
I do run 2x t17e

all three run hotter then I like and I will not buy them any more.
14913  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Running S17 or T17 from the dryer plug in US on: February 16, 2020, 02:47:08 AM
The oven and dryer are the only sources of 240V for most in US (residential).
Were you able to hack it? If so, recommend the needed cords/plugs. Thanks.
I was able to find a solution, but the costs are about $160-170.
Maybe there is something better.

that is an easy hack   buy these two

https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=35118

note picked 6 ft  there are shorter and longer.

https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=35060

so 8-12 bucks

cut the end end of the c19 to c20

splice proper plug

since many plugs are around I won't link

anyone trying underclocks ?

i have a ryzen 9 3900x. set it to freq 3600. volts at 1.0

2 sticks of 8gb ram.

used 21 threads 🧵

using nicehash 2 ... 19

a evga 1660 doing phoinex eth.

rig pulls 217 watts. and earns 1.38 usd on nice hash.

217 watts is 5.1kwatts a day or 51 cents at ten cent power.

so 1.38-0.51= 87 cent daily profit.

i had a ryzen 7 1800x flashed my mobo to run the 3900x

i got the cpu for 430- 100 for the 1800x = 330 cost

roi will be a year. if it makes 87 cents a day

try a different pool

try

http://solo.ckpool.org/

solo.ckpool.org:3333
your btc address
x

solo.ckpool.org:443
your btc address
x

de.ckpool.org:3333
your btc address
x

make sure you control the btc address.

I noticed that your dropped eth freq   below 25000000 two or three times  you may have a bad cable or some packet loss connections .

try ck pool see if you connect

try a new eth cable

or it is the heat sensor issue which means you need to wait for an aftermarket firmware that works with the s9k

btw I get this issue on 1 of my 4 s9k's on some pools but not others.  not the heat sensor but the ETH cable freq

also fill all three pool choices.
14916  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Problem with innosillicon T2TH+ 37TH on: February 15, 2020, 11:19:22 PM
Shut it off   wait ten min do every mode from

Bal-
Bal
Bal+
Bal++

if none work all three boards

try one other pool if no go   board may be toast.

what did you used to run it at?
14917  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Problem with innosillicon T2TH+ 37TH on: February 15, 2020, 11:03:53 PM
those miners have a lot of speed settings.

eco             balance           factory     performance

and in between settings

eco

eco+
eco++
bal--
bal-

Bal

bal+
bal++
factory--
factory-

factory

factory+
factory++

proformance

what are you set to?

if you are on factory drop it to bal+

play with the settings  there are about 13-15 of them   you may get one or more setting to make all 3 boards work.

Today I drove from Howell, NJ to Clifton, NJ    and back about 65 miles each way.

I went to my farm and worked on gear.  I left at 6am and drove on an empty highway speed limit is 65 miles an hour I drove 75-80

My Kia Forte can do about 100 miles an hour on a slight down hill straight empty road.  I know I did it once for about 2-3 minutes.

Every time I get a new car I go to a spot where it is easy enough to get you car to max out.

My kia forte is not safe at 100 miles an hour I can feel it lose some grip in the 95-100
speed..

So I do what it can on an empty road 78-82 feels pretty good it ia my second kia forte I have owen them for about 8 years
I had a blow out on an empty highway at 75 and was able to safely spot the car.

See where I am going here.
Try to back your gear off  a few notches it may not like the speed you are doing with it.

I have 3 inno's

t2t24    likes bal bal+ or Bal++
t3t39    Like factory -
t23t50  likes factory +
14918  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 2020 U.S. Presidential Election on: February 15, 2020, 09:45:38 PM

I feel like Bernie has this thing tied up if he holds his momentum and my money's on him, what about you guys?

"Tied up?" Hell no. Do you think he'll get half the delegates in order to win on the first ballot? I don't. The *perceived* progressive wing as opposed to the *perceived* centrist wing has ceiling of 35-40% for months now.

Take a look at the Iowa and NH races. The "progressives" (Bernie and Warren) got in the 35-40 range and the "establishment" (Pete, Klobuchar, Biden) got the rest. And, on Super Tuesday, Bloomberg gets in the race.

Can Sanders win the nomination? Maybe. But I don't think so.

In the event there isn't a contested convention, I don't think any other democrat has the national support that Bernie has right now after Biden and Warren's collapse. I think Bloomberg will soak up Biden's base and by doing so, he's going to be taking away from Pete and Klobuchar's base as well. I think the progressive wing has the plurality over the moderate wing when Bloomberg jumps in because the moderate lane is way too contested.
Mind I would prefer Sanders or Yang.

But Yang is done and they won't ever give it to Sanders.

So basically Trump will run the table here and 4 more years are looking pretty much certain. Only thing stopping Trump would be a health event making him unfit to run.

I am in New Jersey. Willing to buy a s17pro maybe 2.

Since I am a leading escrow with a lot of trust

I want a USA located unit would pay with BTC or PayPal or LTC once it arrives and I test it.

Don't mind if they are used or new. Just USA location and willing to send gear up front.

I see some from sale here and there maybe someone wants to offload one.
