I tried this out and I get error:

Checking CPU capatibility...
        Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU         920  @ 2.67GHz
   CPU arch supports AES-AVX1...NO.
   CPU arch supports SSE2.....YES.
   SW built for SSE2..........NO.
Incompatible SW build, rebuild with "-march=native"

Which exe did you use? Which algo?

Edit: I tried ccminer.exe on a skylake which has AES and AVX and the capabilities check said the SW was
built for AES. If you used the same file and it said it was not built for SSE2 then there is an inconsistency.
The same file was built for AES but not SSE2. When I compile with -march=native both are true.

It's becoming more clear that this check should be removed.

I used cpuminer.exe (I have Nehalem architecture), on cryptonight and on nist5. Same error on both.

+1.9 = NeuroticFish

Thank you

BTW, this is the most interesting lottery I've ever played on, even considering the ones I payed for.
And it's 100% fair.
Big thank you for the idea and for the prizes you pay from your own pocket.

At least this is a proper coin.
Much sad it stays low 😭
14986  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: May 31, 2016, 06:36:43 PM
once again bot is not resetting properly

It did reset on time. Any payments so far?

Not yet. I guess that Marco will have to start them one of these days by hand.
14987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] BeamCoin (Airdrop registration closes on 7 June) on: May 31, 2016, 11:01:00 AM
I like the way you though of the airdrop! It's an original and good way to keep the people close to this project.

@Equator, I want to join air drop

I think that you should PM him. I did (though no answer yet).
14988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Random payments? on: May 30, 2016, 05:38:57 PM
Guys... his address is in his profile. A simple check shows that the last transaction came from seconds trade, his signature campaign.
No mistery.
If you believe it's a mistake, you should see with the person in charge with the payments for seconds trade signature campaign.
14989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Random payments? on: May 30, 2016, 05:32:42 PM
Bitcoin addresses start with 1or 3. You will see mostly with 1.

Your address is 1YmMptSSj851BFjxqaGe2H3WxyeFhqFVS and you got that money from your signature campaign.

Nice graphics. However, I'm not the first one claiming that you just show the ads and when it's about claiming you get an error. Pretty convenient!
And since it's the only website it doesn't work... yeah..

I tried again, just in case I was wrong. It still doesn't work.
So instead of nice images and stats (which can be from anywhere), better fix your faucet if you want a good business.
And then other people can come and say I was wrong.
14991  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Undervalued By Over $200 on: May 30, 2016, 01:03:07 PM
Most of the honest coins are undervaluated for now.
Since Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies, it has the best chance to see better days.
Let's see if halving will help...

You are right. The bitcoin price is around $540 now. that is more than $100 than a few week's price.

Imho it's still far from its potential.
This may be for now the start of a halving related bubble, but it can also be a return to its correct value.
Bitcoin can still grow a lot, but the amount of speculation grows with that. Everybody wants to earn money and this is an unregulated market.

14993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 0 confirmations after several days - BTC gone? on: May 30, 2016, 10:42:03 AM
The transaction is not to be found. This means imho that it was already rejected. The money should be back in your wallet, or will be there soon.
14994  Economy / Speculation / Re: Going down again ? on: May 30, 2016, 10:16:21 AM
Global professional services firm Ernst & Young has announced it will auction off 24,518 BTC (worth $12.9m) originally confiscated by a user of defunct online dark market Silk Road. See article here : http://www.coindesk.com/ernst-young-sell-12-million-bitcoin-auction/

So do you think this is going to affect the huge price increase that we see at the moment ?

Not at all. It's not the first big BTC auction and after the other ones nothing happened.
People who buys BTC do that to earn money. And for that a big dump is not the way to do it.
14995  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Truly, is it all now just speculation and "what if"? Bitcoin? Ethereum? on: May 27, 2016, 08:07:28 PM
Most people don't understand the current dynamic with eth coin

look at the graph.  Decide if the coin will continue to drop or bounce back.

I will say this about a bounce back in price,

AMD
Nvidia
Intel
Gigabyte
Asus
MSI Evga
Biostar
Asrock

All stand to gain sales if the price goes up.  It is very simple for them to buy some eth coins to boost price as an advertisement expense .

No one knows if they will do this.  Time will tell.

Interesting idea. However, ETH is not the first GPU coin, neither the last. If ETH falls, people will mine something else with GPU. So why would those companies buy ETH and not another coin?
14996  Local / Altcoins (Monede Alternative) / Re: As avea nevoie de cat mai multe pareri on: May 27, 2016, 01:35:46 PM
"VirtaCoin is “owned” by everyone who holds the currency. It is up to the VirtaCoin community to collectively contribute and make VirtaCoin what you want it to be. How you contribute depends on your skills, abilities and available time."

14997  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Truly, is it all now just speculation and "what if"? Bitcoin? Ethereum? on: May 27, 2016, 01:28:15 PM
So give me one good reason why I'd want to buy Bitcoin?

Basically there is a good chance that if you buy Bitcoin these days, you'll be able to sell in a couple of years at 2x - 5x price. Which is not bad for a speculative investment.
If you have the appetite to speculate or if you are a tech dreamer, there are plenty of reasons to buy.

The main players I see out there now are Blockchain.info and Coinbase.com
Of course there are dozens of other players, but it looks mighty like those two are the top players in the Bitcoin field. I know I'll be corrected on this, but that's what it looks like to me.

There are many big players in the Bitcoin world. It's a huge lot of money to work with and there's still a lot of room for much more big players.
I'm not sure of the reasons behind putting together a website offering (basically free) services - mostly chain explorer and wallet - and an exchange (which by chance also offers wallet).
There are a lot of wallet providers, some even offering debit cards (Visa/Mastercard compatible), there are a lot of exchanges, but also a lot of other businesses in this world. Today's news is that even PayPal tries to get a slice of this pie (and all major financiar services will do the same, sooner or later).

The Other Player that seems to be gaining ever more traction is the Ethereum parties. The ethereum-wallet people, and so on.

You have to read more. I am not certain that Ethereum is a safer investment. I see it even more volatile/speculative than Bitcoin.

You were asking about mining. 2 weeks ago everybody would have told you to buy many GPUs and mine ETH. Yesterday and today its price dropped a lot. So it's not a safe bet anymore.
But that doesn't mean you cannot mine something. But this is the problem: you have to find that something. You need patience, since you may earn pennies every day, you even have to check if you don't pay more for electricity than your earnings. But the good news is that there are plenty of altcoins that can still be mined with GPU, which is a smaller investment than a Bitcoin miner and you can resell to gamers too.
However, this needs reading, calculating, and reading more.

If you already have a very good GPU (or you know what you want to buy), go to the support threads for various GPU mining software for that kind of GPU. People in there could help you from setup to where to check what's better to mine.
14998  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Got a Bittrex account - Please reccomend which coins to invest in! on: May 27, 2016, 01:04:34 PM
Got a new Bittrex account! I have 0.35 BTC invested into it; anyone have any recommendations on what crypto coins I should invest in?

**Please note if someone says Ethereum I'm going to kill myself.

Please be very careful with the advises. One of the rules of investments is to not ask random people what to invest into. You don't know the reason behind an answer, some want to help you, some want to help themselves.
Imho, watch the markets and watch the announcements. After a big fall, people may buy; after a big rise, a correction down will have to happen; if you find such moments you can easily profit.
14999  Local / Altcoins (Monede Alternative) / Re: As avea nevoie de cat mai multe pareri on: May 27, 2016, 12:46:12 PM

Adica nu-i tine la ciorap.
Bineinteles, exista si un risc: daca nu esti atent poti ajunge sa cumperi scump si sa vinzi ieftin (sau deloc).

Mult noroc!
15000  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How are wallets like XAPO earning money? on: May 27, 2016, 12:38:22 PM
Hi all,

recently I had a discussion with a friend where I tried to convice him on Bitcoin.

He asked the question. How are wallets (e.g. Xapo) actually earning money? I had no real answer...can you help?

Since people keep money there they can:

a. optimize the transactions
- the transactions xapo to xapo will be only changes in their database
- the transactions on blockchain can be sent out bulk.

b. use a chunk of the money for various investments, loaning, trading (basically what the banks do with your money when they keep it).

c. various services (eg vault) that cost money.
