1501  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to be contented on what you have? on: July 28, 2017, 02:47:15 AM
As I observed myself it looks like I never stop on planning to buy new things that I dont have yet.
I think the title of the thread is mistaken, the true question is how to be content with who you are, those that are content with themselves do not need anything more.
1502  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Venezuelan war against a dictator. on: July 28, 2017, 02:45:48 AM
Maduro was a huge disappointment. He has none of the capabilities that Hugo Chavez had. Hugo Chavez had rescued millions of Venezuelans from the poverty. But Maduro threw them back to that position once more.
While Maduro is no comparison to Chavez I do not see how Chavez would have counter a lower oil price, Venezuela was a house of cards and now is collapsing it was bound to  happen no matter what.
1503  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: July 25, 2017, 11:21:33 PM
Anyone tried or currently trading forex is it possible to make money on it?
You can make a lot of money but you need to remember that up to 95% of the traders lose every single cent in their first year are you willing to take the risk of losing your money with such a high chances because I know I wont.
1504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash (BCC) is an Alt-coin trying to profit off the Bitcoin Brand on: July 25, 2017, 11:20:04 PM
Of course it is, if their project was so good they could try to start one from scratch like many other coins have tried and that have become somewhat successful on their own, they are only using bitcoin fame to try to earn some bucks.
1505  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sexbots. Will you be indulging? on: July 25, 2017, 11:16:00 PM
Lots of people seem to moaning with increasing intensity about the rise of sexbots. Some are claiming there'll be moral dilemmas as I assume a proper one will need some type of sentience.

Personally I can't ever see myself going for it. If I'm not imagining some bored Foxconn slave testing out the muff I'm slobbering all over, I'll be trying to catch it out like early text only adventure games by throwing out surreal suggestions.

Are you already saving up or will you stick to donkeys and greased holes in the ground?
Personally I do not see how this is going to be different than the dildos and other sex toys people use already the only difference is that is going to be a more sophisticated version of the same thing.
1506  Other / Off-topic / Re: Criss Angel or David Blaine? on: July 20, 2017, 09:41:34 PM
Penn & Teller Wink
I like Penn & Teller way better but if I had to choose one I will go with David Blaine, Criss Angel uses too many stooges and I cannot ignore that.

13 Japanese Exchanges Agree to Suspend Bitcoin Service on August 1
Quote
The Japan Cryptocurrency Business Association has officially announced its plan on how to deal with the possibility of a Bitcoin protocol split on August 1. Thirteen of the group’s bitcoin exchange members, including Coincheck, Gmo-Z, Bitbank, and Bitpoint, will suspend bitcoin deposits and withdrawals on August 1 at 00:00 Japan time.

We decided to temporarily stop accepting bitcoin deposits and withdrawals at each exchange…We will stop only the services related to depositing and withdrawing bitcoins, but we will provide our other regular services for virtual currencies and legal currencies.

Which show to us that you should get your money out of exchanges as soon as possible, if you don’t your bitcoin will be frozen there and you may not do anything to change that.
1508  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: July 20, 2017, 09:37:05 PM
No one will win world war 3, we all be obliterated if something like that happened, and for the few that survive hell on earth follows next.
1509  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Africa should be nuked, all evil originated there on: July 18, 2017, 02:55:03 AM
All evil has originated in Africa, let's start cleaning up the planet.
Humans come from Africa, do this mean you want every single human eradicated, forget it, it is not going to happen.
1510  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the United States of America? on: July 18, 2017, 02:53:49 AM
I am a Filipino and I have some relatives living there. Since high school i have heard of rumors that America has a lot of secrets. I even read an article that says America will lead the 666, it said that the CIA manipulated some countries to make their dollar stable and strong, so on and so forth. I don't know if this is all true, what do you think?
It is useless to try to trust or not trust a whole nation, there are good people and bad people anywhere in the world. The history of the US is filled with great presidents and also with some presidents that should be forgotten by history.
1511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: July 10, 2017, 07:50:46 PM
The same thing was said about the internet and now people use the internet more for legal business than crime. All technology has a "dark" side. Telephones are used to harass and exploit people, but most telephone calls are legit. Do we throw away all telephones, because a small percentage of people use it for crime? NO... The good will triumph in the end.

Do not listen to the government shills, they have reason why they want Bitcoin to fail. ^grrrrr^
True as long as the pros of a technology are above the cons then we are good, that is a technology that benefits society more than the damage it does and as such that technology should not be forbidden.
1512  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: July 10, 2017, 07:48:31 PM
In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.

According to you, what can be the best punishment for these rapists so that no one else should think of raping a women. I like the punishment which is given in most of the Muslim countries - hanged to death in public. Do you think that this is fair or they should marry the victim???
I’m sure that most countries have already laws against rape, since it is considered a crime almost universally, the problem is prosecution and corruption, you need to catch the rapist and then prove in a court of law they are guilty.
1513  Other / Off-topic / Re: why everyone in this forum has only skype? on: July 10, 2017, 07:42:40 PM
I am confused. Don't you guys have facebook, whatsapp, instagram or viber?
Personally I don’t use any of that, you are giving information about you for free to people that only want to sell you something, that seems like a bad idea.
1514  Other / Off-topic / Re: Landlord Problems: I need advice URGENTLY on: July 01, 2017, 04:52:00 AM
I gave my landlord a 30 day notice on the 01 Jun that I will be leaving the house I'm sharing with 2other people. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, I'm no longer going to be able to leave. My rent is up to date and have never been late. However we didn't get along because I felt she was too intrusive, she would come to the house for instance early on a Saturday or Sunday morning and be opening curtains and windows. I text her a text message telling her I will wire her the rent money Friday afternoon. She sent me a message telling me she accepted my notice and I have to be out by Saturday, if I don't she will throw my things on the street. Now to make things worse is that I am out of town.

My question is can she legally force me out of the property? I have nowhere else to go. If she does, will I have a case if I sue?
There is not much we can do to help you in this forum, if you have a contract, read what does it says in your contract, however I think the best thing to do, is to use a human approach instead, if you were respectful to your landlord, did not damage the property and on time with your payments, then it is unlikely the landlord will want to kick you out if you ask for more time to live in their property.
1515  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your opinion on recreational drug use on: July 01, 2017, 04:49:11 AM
As you can see in the subject, what is your opinion on a recreational use of drugs? So far I've noticed that guys that do drugs like mdma, ecstasy, cocaine, weed(if you consider it a drug, I don't tho) are lowlifes that are in the setting of "Let's get wasted, party and then do some more drugs" and nothing else but they always look at themselves as something higher than the others.

What is your opinion on that and is it the same at your place?

Also...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7rXlbHtcqM
Personally I don’t use drugs and I never will, and while personal freedom is important, I think drugs is one of those issues where the well being of the society needs to be above individual freedom, so I’m against the consumption of drugs by anyone.
1516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs altcoins because ... on: June 25, 2017, 10:43:00 PM
Bitcoin does not need altcoins but we need altcoins, in case governments try to take over the network and supposing they are successful, we do not have to start all over again we will have many cryptos which we could move on instead.
1517  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: June 25, 2017, 10:38:31 PM
Even some months ago bitcoin'a price was 600$ but it started to rise and everyone sees how it become 1300$, than 1-2 month ago we had a little fall and lowest price was 890$ but than it returned to it's 1200-1300 and continued to rise and rise and we see what we get in result, bitcoin's price is 2750$ currently. This is very high rise and what do you think guys, will we see fall from 2700 to 1000 or even to 600$ ? Can we to forget worries of price fall?
We will never be able to forget about a big sump in the price, right now it seems things are getting hot when it comes to the way to scale bitcoin and I suppose with all the threats of people trying to split the network at some point the price is going to get lower.
1518  Other / Off-topic / Re: who else find mummification completely weird? on: June 25, 2017, 10:34:54 PM
I mean common,, preserving a body for some religious afterlife process. I find it so disgusting. who else find it gross?
You don’t have to worry it has not been practiced in thousands of years so nothing to worry about at the moment, but even then that process can happen to some people in nature that is why you can find people mummified by the elements.
1519  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anonymous says NASA is about to Announce Alien Invasion of Earth on: June 25, 2017, 10:30:05 PM
Reminds me of that old "joke": God is coming, and boy is she pissed.

But Popcorn1 is right with his oh, so "eloquent" rant. If they do come, chanaces are very good that we can't do anything about them coming here or about what they do when they are here. Good, bad or indifferent, they'll have our way with us, there wan't be anything we can do about it and there are a good many control freaks out there who can't STAND that thought.
Correct, even if an alien race came from the nearest planet, Venus or Mars we could probably do nothing to stop them, their technology will be more advanced than ours, they could destroy us with ease and there will be nothing that we could do.
