1501  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [helping thread]Tanong mo sagot ko on: July 14, 2017, 04:59:06 AM
Why?

I really missed things. Siguro, dahil less than a year pa naman ako sa cryptoworld. Maybe the best thing we individuals can do is to start it with our friends.

I wonder kung kaya nateng gumawa ng successful ICO like other countries.. So I suggest creation of apps kase almost all of pinoys ay may phone na naman.
1502  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Let's talk about Alt Coins on: July 14, 2017, 04:51:47 AM
San tsaka pano kumikita ng Doge or Lite?

1503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sent non-ETH to EthereumWallet on: July 13, 2017, 10:15:41 PM
jhenfelipe, thx a lot!!!
It works, I can see my PLBT tokens and send them back.
Thank you so much!
I'm glad that it worked. Please lock this thread, you can also edit the title and put SOLVED. As you can see, even if you solved your problem, others are still posting without reading and that leads to spam. If you don't know where the lock topic button is, just scroll down to the bottom of this thread and you'll see this (see screenshot below)

This might be out of topic but maybe I can try.. Is this the same with bitcoin addresses? I am also required by an ICO to make a wallet that is ERC20 compatible for me to be able to receive my payments. And I use myetherwallet.com. What'll mostly happen if i accidentally gave the wrong address? lets say 1 character is missing something like that.
It's a different story, if you missed a character or mistyped it you will never received your coin.

Where does those coin goes now? Gone forever i read that theres no chargebacks in a decentralized system right?

Is the Filipino translations already reserved? It may be good if you provide some links in the top of the thread Cheesy
1505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for altcoins? on: July 13, 2017, 12:43:47 AM
I use myetherwallet for ethereum based tokens.. it is because most of the altcoins are based in ethereum. Well i suggest you use wallets created by the devs of the altcoin if its not based on ethereum. But If you dont want so many wallets you can try to use Coinomi.
1506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sent non-ETH to EthereumWallet on: July 13, 2017, 12:35:32 AM
Roll Eyes

They are not lost. PLBT is ERC20, you probably don't see them because you didn't add them.
You have to add token into MEW, ask here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1848751.0 for smart contract address and decimal.

This is right. myEtgerWallet.com supports PLBT token since it is ERC20 compliant. Please log on to your wallet and go to Send Ether & Tokens. In Token Balances, click Add Custom Token button and input these details:

Quote
Address: 0x0AfFa06e7Fbe5bC9a764C979aA66E8256A631f02
Token Symbol: PLBT
Decimals: 6

Please let us know here if it works then you can lock the thread Smiley

1508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest your money in Ico on: July 12, 2017, 05:33:15 AM
I think most of them are a scam but some coins are not. But still they give profits and that's what matters. As the problem with altcoins is its pump and dump, you can sell the altcoin quickly at pump if you feel the altcoin is not that good. You can also not invest.

1510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone suggest a good Etherium wallet for smartphones? on: July 11, 2017, 01:20:03 PM
Can anyone suggest a good Etherium wallet for smartphones? I need an Etherium wallet where I have the private keys and I can receive other accociated coins. Thanks.

You can use wallet from myetherwallet. Generate a wallet there save the Json file, the seed and private keys.. After that you can an app like Ether IO to watch the ETH address.
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adult project idea on: July 11, 2017, 01:09:36 PM
Hi everyone!

I have an idea for a project. However this project is going to be connected with adult content. There are working companies who do the same (and are very popular and earn a lot) but without block-chain technologies. After studying a lot about all the possibilities what block-chain can offer, I counted about 5 really important things that can be improved. Project needs to be a big platform where tokens will be used to pay for everything. The only thing I am concerned about is the adult category itself. So that is the reason why I created the poll to see what people think in general about it.

It depends greatly on the idea as some coins already exist and somehow became successfull. Are you going to create tokens based on a block chain here or use existing coin.

1513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: July 11, 2017, 02:57:31 AM
I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

Yes, I think it will have its future. Depending on the Alt coin, Its because each of the sectors has its own demand and alternatives are made to focus and have the specialization to that demand. Its more like in any cases, if one doesnt satisfy you'll find another.

Wow i am amazed with this! I left other campaign because what i have read haha! Im a fan of music actually and I use spotify alot specially in the office. Is this going to be like spotify? It would be nice if we'll be able to use it via web like spotify.

You can use our demo already - http://opus-foundation.org/demo.html
It is all based on Etherum and IPFS. For users, it will be exactly the same as Spotify and that is our goal. For artists, completely opposite. Instead of 20% of the revenue, they will get 100%

Wow thank you will try that later! How huge is the music library now.

It is just a demo library to prove that the product works Wink Around a dozen of songs.

Oh.. When do we expect the product to launch?
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM BLOCKCHAIN SIZE IS NOW 180GB SO 40% BIGGER THAN BITCOIN BLOCKCHAIN ! on: July 10, 2017, 10:22:36 PM
Ethereum should surely have a larger size as the supply is also more than that of bitcoin, there was surely a pre mined ico scam involved but you can't just give up on ethereum , if you do remember is was really close to beat bitcoin but just missed is because of various reasons. Syncing issues are surely there but you can use myetherwallet for that it is trusted and works perfectly

Good thing I change into my wallet into myetherwallet. It was first a requirement in regards compatibility in a campaign. So I have to change I think it is because of ERC20 i cant remember much.
