1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should Tether be delisted from exchanges? on: July 04, 2018, 11:53:52 AM
It is a possibility!
Tether won’t even be ranked on the top 500 a year from now!
Currency pairs are on the way!
Bitcoin will also suffer from currency pairs because it will become obsolete: Think about it!
Market dynamics will change!
I like this coin it secure our  funds when market is falling. I like the idea instead of tether used fiat, but to withdraw in fiat you need something like bank accounts and credit cards whatsoever. Tether made it easier and not all exchanges has fiat and I think Tether is much easier to integrate on exchanges.
But it all depends on bitfinex and Tether this currency is controversial.
1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I lost my coin. on: July 04, 2018, 10:15:15 AM
I have lost Hugh amount of bitcoin, and I believe some person's here too have gone through same. Can we please share our experience and lessons.

My story :My wallet was hacked, by God knows who. That was 2017 may. I logged in to my blockchain wallet to notice that 0.9  btc I have been accumulating Since 2016 has been taken. Leaving less than $5 worth of bitcoin for me.

My lesson :  don't trust anyone with your crypto, laptop or password. Because I believe someone close to me did that.
I think they are 2 scenario, as you said maybe someone close to you got access to your laptop or password and second your a victim of phishing.
Phishing is common on emails pretending to be your wallet but it comes from different email deceiving you, to avoid this install some phishing protection and always check the url of the site before entering important details.
1503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short term and long term investments on: July 04, 2018, 05:22:01 AM
This is informative thank you, I will try to look for a coin and I will base on this criteria. Does long term holding needs some luck too?
I saw some great projects and never got profit on holding it. Maybe I will hold it for another year and sell when the right time comes.
I think on long term investment we need to store it on a wallet not on exchanges.
1504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Low withdrawal fee on: July 04, 2018, 03:34:59 AM
Most of the exchanges now has low withdrawal fee but they are some with stable fee and never change. I have created a simple thread with some of exchanges fees https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2991183.msg30753851#msg30753851
1505  Other / Serious discussion / Re: ICO Auditing on: July 04, 2018, 01:22:00 AM
Ico auditing is good to minimized scam projects, Ico ratings site should implement deep auditing and checking, ico projects should pass their standard. I think its better that all ICO must pass SEC and fully verified by them to minimized this risk for investors sake.
1506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Platform vs NEO platform on: July 03, 2018, 11:18:16 PM
I want to ask
Between two Platform above
Where is very good to followed in airdrop
Everyone knows that ethereum is a good choice but I think you can save transaction FEE on NEO. Everytime I send my token there it looks like no fee and their blockchain is not too loaded.
NEO is a good choice too.

1508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with dividends? on: July 03, 2018, 09:17:12 AM
So I am interested in spreading out some of my $$ into altcoins that pay dividends I heard about coss and kucoin shares (don't like the idea of keeping it on the exchange) but is there any other coins that pay you dividends similar to how these two coins work?
I heard that spectre has dividends to its token holders. The receive dividends based on the traded volume in SPECTRE and not by a centralised management. This is a new project do your reseach first. I think Dividend is more like staking. There are many altcoins with staking feature ex: REBL
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: automation of trading on the cryptocurrency exchange on: July 03, 2018, 01:22:08 AM
I have encountered some bots on several exchanges and its quiet annoying. I think bot is risky maybe they earn and maybe they will loss too.
Its better to trade on your own. If you don't have time to trade just don't trade.
1510  Economy / Services / Re: ▄▀▄▀▄▀ ⚡️ [BOUNTY] Earn BTC for Reviewing ICOs - ICOVOZ ⚡️ ▀▄▀▄▀▄ on: July 02, 2018, 11:34:03 PM
Hi, OP what is the exact date for the first week? when it will end? so if this starts last june 25 the first week will end on june 31 or july 1 right?
can you make this clear? The payout is every week so the 0.01 btc amount in each person will be divided for 30 days most likely 0.0023 btc per week?
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: do you think Altcoin can last for next 5 years? on: July 02, 2018, 12:50:31 AM
Are you talking about the price drop or the whole project is completely gone and turned to scam, abandoned?
maybe some will not last especially those new ICO with scam motives and no real purpose. and some will survive Altcoins like, ETH, NEO and some of the Top 10 coins on coinmarketcap will last because they have earned their name and trust for the past years. Technology is growing this kind of tech will never last it will evolved much further.
1512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much is the highest amount you earned from holding your bounty reward token? on: July 01, 2018, 11:38:58 PM
The biggest amount I earn on a campaign I think around $2000 its for 1 campaign only it was last year in the month of oct, Nov, Dec.
For this past months I never earn that amount again I think the biggest is $100 some of my holding value is in the bottom right now but i'm still holding it.
1513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why this Transaction is pending over 6 hours on: July 01, 2018, 10:18:47 PM
Hi OP, Sometimes  https://etherscan.io/gastracker is more accurate than https://ethgasstation.info
before sending a transaction check the current gas safelow everytime it might change any moment it depends on Eth Network.
1514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for bounty is BS. on: July 01, 2018, 09:04:04 AM
I just want to say that KYC for bounty is BS.

Out.
I'll second that, and I'll add that it is especially BS when asked at the end of the campaign, which happens from time to time. It's fine though if they CLEARLY and OPENLY state that KYC is required at the beginning of the campaign. Than we can choose to opt out and no harm is done.
I Agree the purpose of kyc is good to avoid and prevent those cheaters but the purpose of bounty is to advertise their product/project to gain some exposure. But I think as long as you do your job in a campaign there is no reason to have a kyc. kyc is suited for investors. some kyc won't allow like US Citizen so if they didn't announce it from the beginning its a trap many bounty managers abuse this method.
1515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC-20 tokens ? on: July 01, 2018, 07:31:31 AM
Hello guys, I am new to this forum. I want to know what is ERC-20 token and what relation it has with Ethereum.
Thank you
Hi OP, I think your question has been answered a long time ago, and everyone is posting the same comment over and over again maybe you can lock this thread now.  Smiley
1516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WIll bitcoin be the point of reference for other cryptocurrencies for ever? on: June 30, 2018, 04:35:52 PM
Knowing that Bitcoin is the first successful cryptocurrency to emerge in the crypto world it has undoubtedly taken the spot as the "root" of all digital currencies and will always serve as a reference to any other after it. But knowing the unpredictable world of crypto that notion remains to be seen.
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can be done to cub fake ICOs? on: June 30, 2018, 09:08:12 AM
Nowadays there are different ICOs that have failed due to poor team or due to the fact that they just wnt to scam people. Coinopsy estimates that more than 1,000 cryptocurrency that have kicked the bucket. Thousands of people have fell victim either as an investor or as bounty hunter whereby their money is lost or their share was not paid as bounty hunter.

What do you think should be done to cub this evil act because I don't think it can really be cubbed.

As investor or bounty hunter I think we need to investigate first the project we are going to invest or join. Most of the scam ICO's has no image on Team members maybe some have pictures but it is stolen from other persons photo there are many aspects we consider to verify its legit but even well known bounty managers can be fool by this scammers. As individual we must do a deeper research. Are you familiar with SEC? they are currently identifying companies for allegedly conducting ICO exit scams. I hope all ICO must be approve by SEC first before it can launch to minimize the risk.
