Anyone watched the Ind vs Ban one day Asia Cup U19 today ?
India just pulled a match and cup out of the hands of the Bangladesh. Bangladesh bowled really well to restrict India at 106 But unfortunately they could not bat well and they fail to chase this small title.
Yeah.. in India the match was live on Star Sports 1 and I watched the second innings. It was a very exciting match, and could have been good for the game if Bangladesh could win the trophy. They just needed 107 to win, but fell short by 5 runs. This is the problem with these inexperienced teams. Even if they have very good chance of winning, they throw away their chances. Well both of the teams had their chances and India bowlers really bowled well to get Bangladesh all out at 101. Seeing India U19 cricket team bowling performance and commitment, you can say that Indian future of cricket is very bright. |

My bet is on a draw or an English win if they score over 200 in the 2nd innings.
I am still for Australia. Even if they have a target of 350+ runs to chase still I believe that Australia can manage it even though their betting lineup is performing the worse. My calculation based on Smiths performance by the way. He is a character and he will not give away his wickets until he take the ship to the port. You mean if Aussie get a target of 350, smith will make 250 of those runs ? Anything under 400 is chase able provide all the Aussie batsmen come in the form in the last innings of the Ashes. Also i still do not think it will be as straight forward as everyone is expecting. Like in the previous 2 tests we might see more twists in this test match too. |

Back to the England vs Australia test. English team should socre 300+ runs and they will need Smiths wicket if they want to win this match and tie the series. There is a very thin line between Smith and entire English team. This thin line is going to decide if we will have a tie series or Australia to win the series. Either way they are retaining the Ashes though.
I have slight doubt that England will touch 300 since they are 8 wickets down now. Yeah Smith has been a crucial part in every match. Still I expect someone else to score. It's getting quite boring watching same guy scoring everytime. Again smith alone is taking his team close to the England total of 294. Smith is batting on 75 and is single handed helping his team to a reasonable position against England. England will be hoping to get smith out quickly and get a lead of 100 runs at least. Also Remember if this match ended in a draw, the Aussie will win the Series 2-1. |

Yeah, that's a long time hope everything is fine with Pffrt and noticed that Royse is not active for some time (week or so, He might be busy with work, i guess)

Afghanistan has won this test match and it is an historic win for them in Chattogram. This was the only test in the series and they managed to win it by big margin of 224 runs. Rashid Khan was the difference between the two teams and is declared man of the match. |

Australia is winning this so easily. Because Stokes failed miserably in both innings. Nobody from England can match upto Smith and he just missed one match and England managed to win it. It means Aus mainly depends on one player who plays tremendously well for them. Still England have managed to bring down the number of runs from 380+ to 211. 7th wicket gone now.
Comfortably Oz will win this test match as now they just require to pick 2 more wickets of England batsman and England still require 200 runs to win this test match . OZ would be happy with their team effort and Steve Smith again played a crucial knock. Are you sure Aussies will win this test match easily ? Only 21 overs are left in the day and they have to take these two wickets. Every over which is survived by England, make the task more tense for the Aussies. |

I would like to slightly modify your post. In my opinion, this is the current status of the match: Steve Smith VS (England + Umpires+ rain)Steve Smith is like one man army. None of the Australian batsmen are able to give him any sort of support. Even his better partnerships came while batting with the lower order and tail end batsmen. Warner, Paine.etc have been in horrible form. Lol...England 7th out and the third umpire this time helps to avoid this wicket. England back to 6 wickets down. Its seems every effort will be made to avoid an Australia win.  That one seemed like to result in a draw but seems like England are really in a difficult position to hold against Aussies bowlers. Still 4 wickets to go and 2-1 series lead for Australia. It's not far they still have 1 session more to go. Despite having a good batting lineup it is really shocking to see them 6 wickets down before 200. Buttler is still out there which is the only hope for them now. I have seen this kind of strategy that has been discussed here many times already and many have tried to use this strategy already. I have also used this kind of strategy too and the result is the same with most gamblers who used this kind of strategy too. Losses everywhere . I do wish one day anyone discover a gambling strategy which truly make us win and changes all the gamblers fortunes. These Martingale and parlay strategies do not work anymore and are just waste of time and money. |

England now have to survive two sessions and they are 4 wickets down. The weather is also shiny and good and i feel it is very difficult for the England to survive the last two sessions of the match. I am pretty much confident the Aussie will wind up the match in this 2nd session.
Cummins is on a roll at the moment and is decimating the English team slowly and steadily. Denly is the only one hanging on and I doubt Bairstow and the remaining tail enders can offer much support here. England will try to defend every ball while the Australians are aiming for wickets. Unless there is rainfall, I don't see how England can survive this onslaught. Is there any chances of rain at Manchester, UK today ? I just searched google and found it is Partly Cloudy today. Fortunately there is no chances of rain today. Its just a matter of getting two more England wickets , Denly in particular and their tail will be exposed. |

It's true that some chinese citizens don't follow the rules and regulations of the Philippine Country and in result the government of china will think that they are considered as slave or getting hurt in working or doing business in Philippines. I think the reason they violate the rule is because some are lazy enough to get the papers needed to have business in Philippine country.
How come Chinese do not follow the rule of Philippines or any other country ? They are going to Philippines on their own will and Chinese government do not want this to happen. If they are so concerned about it, why not Chinese government offer better employment opportunity in their own country. |

Another poor decision by the umpires in favor of England. Marnus Labuschagne given out LBW despite hawkeye showing that the ball is just touching the bails. Australia in some trouble at 24/3, but Steve Smith is still out there. They are leading by 220 and I guess another 130 runs would be enough to get a 2-1 lead in favor of Australia. On the other hand, if England could get Australia out for 100 or below, then they may be having a real chance.
I think umpires will not be able to save England this time around. We have full fifth day left and England have only 8 wickets in hand. If Aussies can take 2 or more wickets in the first session of the last day, they can easily seal this match in their favor. |

The England summer this year has been terrible with the rain stopping play not only in the Ashes but it also played a big part in the World Cup where we could of seen a different result. Anyway I thought Australia have batted well to get to 170 runs off just 44 overs and only losing 3 wickets and the danger man Smith is still at the crease so if he can get going on day 2 then Australia can make 400+ runs.
I doubt they will even reach 350. Once Smith departs, the English bowlers will focus on the tail enders and they will continue chipping away until there is no one left to bat. Smith did not depart which made Aussie is a better position. I think if Aussie play well from here onwards, they can make 500+ runs and then look to create pressure and try to get a follow on. If the rain does not disturb, we can see one more tight test contest here. |

They already lost 3.5 hours on the first day. Rain ran go away, come again another day... :-P
Since both Smith and Marnus are playing, who has been dropped from this match? I don't blame Warner now as he suddenly outperforms and then goes back to scoring in single digits or gets out for 0. They'll need to give him rest till he gets in form again.
Edit: Labuschagne out. With Smith, 350 looks like a good target but if he gets out soon, 250 looks like all they can get.
Finally it's tea break. I have been watching this match closely all day long. Australia is playing good and scoring at a good rate. Do you know only 4 overs are bowled maiden by the English bowlers in the two sessions. This shows how well the Aussies are batting today. |

I was also expecting good battle battle between Smith and Archer but at the end Rain won and these both have to wait for next round of this battle which is going to be very exciting. The rain did stop and we had a few overs but now again it is raining heavily at Manchester. The weather does not look good here. I think they should have an early lunch and tea break and hope for the weather to clear. |

As in the last two test matches, Manchester test is also rain affected. The Series is currently tied at 1-1 and this match is also very important as the winner of this match cannot lose the Ashes and will go in the next and final test with a lot more confidence. Lets hope rain goes away soon and we have remaining full day of play. |

New Zealand looks to be in lots of trouble now. They have lost 3 wickets and still need more than 100 runs in 14 overs. The good news for NZ is that Akila Dananjaya has only one over left (he had taken all the three wickets fallen so far). Tom Bruce and de Grandhomme are trying to build a partnership, but they need to be a bit cautious now.
As i told before, Srilanka lost again a match which they should have one in the first place. They had the match in hand in the 2nd innings but later in the match they are unable to hold the grip on this match. |

Srilanka is playing really good today and reach 100 runs with only 2 wickets down. I think they are set for a big total today, maybe near 200 to make themselves comfortable.
Yes, Sri Lanka has been playing good. The early partnership was quite good, but further the third wicket has fallen. The match has got close to the end of over fourteen. After 100 the score isn't increasing much, I find the score to reach around 180. New Zealand were strong at the moment, and expect the winning to be on the side of New Zealand. The moment i said that Sirlanka is playing well, all of sudden they lost two wickets. They have wasted a review as well. Are we going to see the replay of the 1st T20, where Srilanka started well and then start losing the way as the games progressed. Edit: 5 out now |
