What is definition of"Discarded"?
Discarded shares are shares your miner did find after the pool already announced a new block. So the miner software doesn't even bother to submit it (because it would get rejected). What do I need to do to improve hash rates and reduce discards?
Hard to say, it could be from bad mining software as os2sam said, a slow and lossy network, mining on diff port with too high difficulty to name just a few. Any impact to my profitability and hash rates, when "Discarded" value is high (currently x2 or x3 of Accepted value)?
Pools only pay for accepted shares, so yes, more accepted shares - more payout. HTH

Everyone, the bonuses have been distributed to all claimed addresses on the richlist. I will do this again next month so please claim if you haven't already. Thank you.
Thank you very much HORT! And thanks even more for all your greatly appreciated efforts and hard work to make GEN a real gem ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

Hello
Need some help to get my coin out of gentip-bot I still new at freenode.
What is the command I type in
I tried
!withdraw < gaDkHS2k3FCJmWdvMwPhrBKY7rZxjQBtbb > [232] it did work
kprell40
Try: /msg GenTip-Bot withdraw GENSTAKE-ADDRESS AMOUNT Replace GENSTAKE-ADDRESS with your genstake-address, the above is not a valid one. Replace AMOUNT with the desired amount to withdraw from the Tip-Bot. HTH

No volume anywhere.
No buy orders.
I attribute this mostly to the craziness in btc price lately. Network is still strong, like nugget! Absolutely, the coin has a very nice hashrate since weeks: { "blocks" : 180775, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 3.12230215, "errors" : "", "genproclimit" : -1, "networkhashps" : 258256917, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false, "generate" : false, "hashespersec" : 0 } And the next halving is only ~13 days away if my maths are correct.

Nice work! I am interested in 3 units for a start if the price is reasonable.

I might make this a monthly thing so if you haven't gotten around to getting your wallet functional, now is a good time. IF you want to try and scam the system by having multiple wallets with claimed addresses, then good luck.
It was not my intention to have multiple entries to get more boni from you, really. Whenever I do a transfer from an exchange to my wallet I let it create a new address (at least most of the time) and so there are a few of mine on the richlist. To make things clear: Please exclude psycodad from any boni! I just claimed them for fun as I have met this rich list feature for the first time. And to make that publicly known too: All GEN HORT tips in IRC go to my public GEN node for staking and will be given back to (this) community some time in the future (most probably as rain in IRC or as bounty for something useful for GEN).

People with multiple accounts on a single forums are psychos.
Maybe, but then again not all psyc(h)os have multiple accounts. I for example have only one ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Hi, If power costs really don't matter, you could check your expected return from mining here: https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=5.5&speedunit=MH%2FsMy own Gridseed G-Blades run at between 5.4 and 5.8MH/s. It's important to have a good power supply, one that is able to supply the ~10A one G-Blade unit draws. HTH

I am sure you would get a very elaborate explanation on why he doesn't if you could give us some examples of your achievements in open source software.

To get more people interested in sjwcoin I will rain 2 Mio SJW in the next 24 hrs in #sjwcoin IRC channel on Freenode network. If there will be more than 20 nicks in the channel for a longer time (currently 12), I'll double that amount and will rain 4 Mio in total. SJW-showers will happen within that timeframe completely randomly.

Ironhorse and pyscodad I will look into Yobit and get back to you.
Thank you HORT, your support and care of GEN are greatly appreciated!

Anyone know why Yobit wallet takes several weeks for maintenance?. It is normal?.
Thank you guys.
It's pretty annoying, I have a GEN deposit pending there since weeks and wrote several mails to yobit support but never got a reply.

Make sure your miner can resolve domain names (i.e. check if it has DNS server configured that is valid and working).
HTH
Thanks for your quick response! But howto check that? And do so have a link or info howto setup configure, when it's not available in my server? Simply try "ping google.com" on your miner and see if it can resolve it to an IP. If you get "unknown host" or something like that you have no DNS server configured.
