Discarded shares are shares your miner did find after the pool already announced a new block. So the miner software doesn't even bother to submit it (because it would get rejected).

Hard to say, it could be from bad mining software as os2sam said, a slow and lossy network, mining on diff port with too high difficulty to name just a few.

Pools only pay for accepted shares, so yes, more accepted shares - more payout.

My own Gridseed G-Blades run at between 5.4 and 5.8MH/s.

It's important to have a good power supply, one that is able to supply the ~10A one G-Blade unit draws.

It's pretty annoying, I have a GEN deposit pending there since weeks and wrote several mails to yobit support but never got a reply.

Simply try "ping google.com" on your miner and see if it can resolve it to an IP. If you get "unknown host" or something like that you have no DNS server configured.

Make sure your miner can resolve domain names (i.e. check if it has DNS server configured that is valid and working).
