1501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Government Owned Online Casinos What Do You Think Of Its Potential on: July 07, 2022, 11:10:43 AM
People don't trust the government anymore. Isn't that why bitcoin was created in the first place? With everything going on in the world they'd prefer to visit a casino not owned by the government. I think the role of the government here should simply be that of regulating the gambling industry. Just like the Netherlands, Australia and the UK are already doing.
I can't even imagine using a government owned casinos to get things done because the government can suddenly freeze your fund and you will have nothing to do about it. The government are not to be trusted because anything can happen anytime. Private owned casino is much better looking at reputation and other criteria. It is very hard to see a government owned casino because if gamblers noticed that, they can decided to limit their use of such site because of sanctions and other possible events.

Good point, if the government's own casino suspected your account doing something suspicious

if they freeze your account, the next thing you will see is a case against you, while with private own casinos when they freeze your
account, there's a chance that you can contest your case.

There's a pro and con always with two side stories in terms of playing with government own gambling platforms..
1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy some low cap coins on: July 07, 2022, 11:02:04 AM
The time we have been waiting for has arrived, the price of the top Altcoins is very cheap, all we do is simple, only buy and save it in the wallet and wait for the miracle, if we can hold at least a year then we have a great chance of profit 100% even more, crypto the community is growing.
its good deal for current cryptocurrency price. Alot major cap coins now in dip , even some of them below monthly support.for investors that have long term purpose , this is best time to buy and accumulate. I am believe less than a year our investment will growth more than 2x , bigger than yield from bank saving.

If the market trend will bounce back, then it's true that the profits might be more than how bank can provide.

Though we needed also to consider the kind of risk that you might experience if the market will not
favor your investment.

A waiting game that needed to overcome, it's up to your good judgement in how you'll be compensated with
the risk that you take when buying a low cap coins and wait till it pumps high.
1503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: July 06, 2022, 01:56:56 PM
If the price of Bitcoin goes down, gamblers will get less money from their gambling than specified bets? The answer is no because they get btc according to their betting odds. However, if a gambler hold his deposited money or collected money in the form of BTC for betting in his wallet, then some of his money will be reduce for the price volatility of BTC. But if not, there is no possibility of any kind of effect on gamblers.
When I want to do gambling I think it will be lighter when using altcoins than bitcoin because the selling value is still low so it will make you a little calm when you lose, while so far I keep assets in the form of bitcoins in the nominal gambling place that I have still and no change even though holding assets in gambling is very dangerous because they can collapse instantly without your knowledge. when I have made a lot of profit from gambling, I think immediately to make a withdrawal and secure the profits that have been obtained.

Better to keep your earnings into stable asset if you are well-satisfied with the amount.

It will allow you to feel comfortable, though there are some gamblers who are not comfortable with how the market
changes, but for more experienced gamblers, they are good and willing to take whatever the market is, bringing them
inside this crypto gambling industry.
1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: July 06, 2022, 12:52:33 PM
Dip price is comfortably for altcoins investors but when btc price going to down then not good dip for altcoins. Because altcoins market totally depending on btc price so a dip opportunity can working only top altcoins. I think maximum new investors not know about dip so that's why they are crazy for lossing money.
Not that they don't know, but those new investors are always in a hurry with profits so they forget the losses that can come to altcoins when Bitcoin starts to fall, so their frustration and regret are always greater than their enthusiasm in terms of surviving with current conditions. Because only experienced investors can survive the current dip.

Common mistake is believing in that enticing promise that always lingers when in terms of crypto investment.

There are many newcomers who think that this venue is the freeway to get a huge amount
of profits without knowing the real consequences after, quickly believe with that belief.

Once the market turned to bear this money will be suck and newcomers disappointment
will turn them away from this industry. Reality wise, always do your own DYOR before
taking any actions.
1505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 is the time to buy or sell? on: July 06, 2022, 11:35:45 AM
Hello,
2022 is the time to buy or sell? If it is time to buy, then which coins or tokens?
Now whole market in dip and all coins dropped 60-80% from ATH.  Now coins can be bought. Because it gives an indication of profit. So in my opinion now is the time to buy and hold. However, cryptocurrency is very risky.  So do your own research before investing. Don't rush to invest in someone else's advice. If you think you should invest, then you can.

If that's how you see the opportunities buying is good as long as you can wait and hold,

there are many speculations and many opininons about how the market will behave, but it's about how you percept and position
your investment.

It's your judgement that will allow you to place your money into investment of your choice, alts are still down and chosing
the right coin is the best thing to do now.
1506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 05, 2022, 06:49:15 AM
Quote
- Would you blame an individual who becomes addicted to gambling because it is wired to his DNA?

-Can their gambling problem be put in check by regular methods?

-Will the addiction be worse than someone who picked up the habit?

Playing the "blame game" isn't a constructive approach that would help in solving the problem. Trying to help a person is better than blaming him/her or his/her possible DNA inheritance.
I don't think that gambling addiction is genetically inherited. What gets genetically inherited is the ability to fall into different kinds of addictions, because the brain is craving different hormones like dopamine. Those hormones have lower production in some people, who have a particular genetic code.
What do you mean by "regular methods"? We should ask a psychic doctor, who is an expert in dealing with gambling addictions.
This topic requires expertise that we don't have.

The value of helping a person instead of blaming that genes, if that is possible, is more important.

If it's for real that the DNA of the gambler can be genetically transfer the only thing that can be done is to help the person and
not to let him feel that it's a fault that he falls into this addiction.

Like what you said, it's something that expert doctors can treat and with them guiding the person, it's more possible
to treat and save a person's future.
1507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Government Owned Online Casinos What Do You Think Of Its Potential on: July 05, 2022, 06:35:04 AM
I'm against it. The state should not be engaged in business. All public services are always worse than private ones and are always breeding grounds for corruption and theft of people's money. Do not forget that in theory what sounds like "the state will deal with it" in practice always turns into "an official deals with it."

Yes, as you said and if the state takes over gambling, with the argument that it is managed by a state institution, it is undeniable that the actor behind it is an official who controls it for personal or group interests.
but I agree if in my country to make a certain area a gambling arena intended for the purpose of sponsoring sports funds this has happened in my country before the gambling law became illegal.

We can't deny the fact that there are personalities who really pushing things to be more legal,

People behind who will benefit a lot hiding from some good deed that might be foreseen by the government, but
as long as the right process will be done, the benefits still consider being manageable by the government bodies who will
Facilitate the said gambling business. It's up to the judgement of high authority to accept or to legalize the actions.
1508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: July 04, 2022, 11:40:16 AM
It can be said that matic is a coin with great potential to be equivalent to even passing BNB or ETH, network speed and very cheap costs make many Devs. Moving to Matic, although now there is a big correction but I do not hesitate to continue to buy matic.
If that was the only reason, the Matic should have been very expensive long ago or since the bull run, but why couldn't the Matic be at $20 at that point? does everyone not know the transaction fees from the matic network are so cheap and fast? ETH and BNB are two very good coins and also always compete in today's market with a very large community, but Matic is always not in the top ten to compete with others, so Matic will not be on par with BNB or ETH.

Well said, Matic still doesn't have that kind of support where both ETH and BNB are enjoying now.

Developers and investors continue to choose projects that being run inside both ETH and BNB most of the time, they see
establish network and interest from traders that are the main target of creating a project.

Matic still has a big room to grow and compete, but without a huge support from end users the value will remain the same.
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything stop on: July 04, 2022, 11:22:11 AM

I am very optimistic about my decision to avoid investing in LUNA and have no doubts at all. Because I do my own research and analysis,
which I think can be trusted compared to other people's opinions. As long as there are other coin options that we think are better,
why have to force to hear other people's opinions that are not necessarily true, and also risk making us lose our money. It is very important
that we learn from our own mistakes, because successful investors will not repeat their mistakes. I remind again that investing in crypto has
a high risk, so being careful in making decisions is very important. Always believe in ourselves, because only we know what is best for us.
Don't let influencers influence our decisions, because most influencers only think about profit for themselves.

Good point. Repeating the same mistakes only means that you are not learning from your participation.

Either you earn or you learn, though, much better that you keep both if possible. There are times that you might
choose the wrong assets, but moving forward, you will be able to understand the concepts and you will establish
good strategy in each investment type that you will going to choose while inside the market, indeed a risky venue
but once you completely understand the concept, you will be able to compensate yourself and enjoy the luxury.
1510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects? on: July 04, 2022, 11:05:42 AM
its done for Luna and time to move on at potential project in market. Alot altcoin price cheap now and dev team building in this bearish trend. Trust from investor totally gone no matter Do Kwon doing. Reserce protocol maybe have potency to pump in near future due their development peogress.
But for how long the backup protocol can develop and can have a pumping effect on the products built by Do Kwon is also difficult to know, so investors prefer to take a simpler and more realistic path by staying away from Luna and continuing their investment with other products and also with more convincing cryptocurrency products for the future.

Yes, investors realize that there are more potential assets that they can use instead of waiting with how the team will

develop Luna and convince other investors to support the project, instead of risking their money
they move away and invest with different one as a good alternative.

We don't know what will be the future but being realistic is more better than thinking of something
that you are unsure.
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where should I invest money? on: July 03, 2022, 09:16:51 PM

What happened to LUNA teaches us that we must remain vigilant and careful when investing in top coins. Because investing in top coins does not
guarantee safety, therefore never invest in only one coin, we must diversify investments. So this is to minimize risk when investing, so that when
one of the top coins we have has a problem, we can still get profit from other top coins. But don't invest too many coins either, later we will have
difficulty monitoring it and also the profit generated is not very effective. Maybe an investment of about 3-5 coins is enough in my opinion,
then the percentage of capital we use to buy Bitcoin must be greater, because we know Bitcoin is the safest investment choice.

You have your own options in terms of maximizing your opportunities investing in this business.

There are many kinds of strategies that you can use. What happened to a certain coin will be a glimpse of possibilities that it can happen
to another project, you need to make sure that you are aware of certain changes that may happen and you are willing to take the
risk holding and investing in your chosen coins.
1512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB price on: July 03, 2022, 06:24:48 PM
It depends on the bull market, impossible to say in the bear market.1000 $ much more than the bull market and the bear market, so can't be said for sure.We can expect BNB to pump in a very short time.So I keep some BNB on hold.I have now chosen BNB as a way to make more money.BNB is my favorite coin, I think BNB is much less risky than other coins. So I think BNB investment is quite comfortable. The demand of BNB investors is increasing day by day, so many top projects using Bnb chain.
It's one of the top in the market and that's why many would like to keep it. Despite that it was really cheap a few years ago, only a few got in at that time.
And when the pump has happened, it's now where everyone is interested of owning it. We will see in the future if the price pumps more, we'll see more people again interested on it.
I just don't understand that when the price is cheaper, only a few talks about it and just comes back whenever it has a well established price again.

The nature of many investors is riding with the pump, they mostly talk about the project when hypes are ongoing,

but like what you just said when the market is down they are less talk about the project but experienced traders are into this coin,
knowing that any time this coin will manage to bounce back, especially when the market inside the whole market start to spark up
and the bull runs back and pumps the market.
1513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: July 03, 2022, 05:56:38 PM
Receiving such a huge amount of money which is unexpected is too alarming. He should double-check it in the first place or question it but it's his fault for using it to gamble intentionally.
He really meant to spend it and he might actually have an idea that it was sent to him by mistake so he gambled it right away.
Mistakes like that happen all the time, it is very common to see stories of people receiving millions of dollars into their accounts out of nowhere, and most of the time what you see is that the people inform of the error and then it is corrected quickly by the bank without any issue, the difference is that this person saw that amount of money in his account and did not asked any questions and immediately assumed that money to be his, and now he is paying the consequences of such a dumb mistake.
He got attracted with huge amount and with a gambling problem he took that money to fund his vices,

Even he knows that he can't escape with the enforcer law inside his country, he's now being arrested and charge with his
criminal liabilities, he takes that consequences even he knows what is waiting for him after losing that huge amount of
money with his gambling activities.
1514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 03, 2022, 05:41:26 AM
...., but what made me laugh was the news that Zion Williamson even without having played games he will sign a renewal contract and the contract value is 221 million euros, but you have some conditions: he will have to get into one of the All - Nba teams or be defender of the year next season, if he doesn't make it meet these requirements then the amount he will receive until 2028 will be 185 million euros, the contract extension only comes into effect in 2023.
The man may have some poor work ethics but he has an undeniable potential. He is yet to reach his peak and Pelicans management is probably thinking he could overcome his injuries. I thought they did well last season without his service so keeping him could make them a serious contender in a couple of years. Ingram + McCollum + Williamson on the court looks scary.
It's not a poor work ethics, he is just unlucky that he got injured every season, if he can pass at least one season and get in the playoffs, I think he will show his true potential. Looking at his stats,  you can really tell that he belong to the list of NBA active superstars, especially for the big man.

The only problem with this young superstar, his injuries still pulling him back.

But yes, once he overcomes this and starts playing a whole season, the value of his contract might be paid enough,
with CJ being added to their lineup, his impact will be more being felt, especially if Zion is playing alongside with the
whole roster of NP. They've got a good run last season and expect more good quality games when they have Zion
playing with them.
1515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 03, 2022, 04:55:43 AM

That was the time when Spence has not added a belt and he was already asking for a 60/40 price, how much more that he had more belts than in the past 2 years, so it will not change his mind, he think he deserve a bigger share.

Agree to that and he will continue to demand that as he believes that he is more worthy than Crawford.

It will be a talk between two camps and if they both agree, then there's nothing to think of any reason, only the fitted schedule
for this upcoming fight. Spence added more belts since he beats Ugas and claims another title, which supposedly a belt fight
between him and the legendary Manny Pacquiao.
1516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbie invest on: July 03, 2022, 04:41:54 AM
The most correct choice is to do some kind of staking and liquid pools so as not to miscalculate, you can use some kind of staking aggregators like AnalytEx, there are many projects on which you can stake and you can immediately see APY. So, as an option, doing it in such a market will be better than investing in unfamiliar projects.
There are several platforms where you can stake. Aside from what you've mentioned, depending on the choice of altcoin you want to stake. And it's true that there so much projects just like in mycointainer.com. It has a lot of coins and tokens in support and they're showing how much the reward fee they have and as well as the APY that you'll be receiving upon staking your coin there. For the other options you want, there are more on: www.stakingrewards.com.

The more you understand the project, the more you can stake your money for the future.

There are many venues that you can choose and by means of doing your research, you will be able to take advantage of
each avenue that you can use, always do your diligence to investigate and follow the project once you decide to use certain
coin for your investment, it helps to allow you to keep holding to whatever market movements are ongoing around the market.
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: July 03, 2022, 04:32:29 AM
I think when the price of Bitcoin goes to 1 lakh, the price of Matic can go to 20 dollars. Because this coin is used for swapping tokens. At one time the price of BNB Ether was much lower. For example, Ether was 30$, BNB was 3-4$. They cost a lot more now. So I think the price of matic can go up to 20$. It is possible.
it's very hard to expect too much from Matic to make it to $20, it should be remembered that when bitcoin reached its last ATH and Matic was only able to make ATH $2.92.
It must also be remembered that Matic has been used so far because ethereum is expensive and if eth2.0 can be realized, it is likely that many will not use Matic.
so even if it will go up the possibility is not as big as you think and it's too high.

This is another possibility in regard to Matic value, if ETH established much cheaper transaction fees.

the chance of matic not being used by the most developers and investors will impact to how the value will turn after some time,
matic needs to attract more end users to create more potential holders and developers to establish good value.

It's more on how the team will bring new money around and let believer to enjoy and continue to support this coin.
1518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: July 02, 2022, 08:38:22 AM
I choose both investments, I believe I can save eth and bnb coins in the long term, these two coins in my opinion are very valuable assets, so I plan to save eth coins and bnb coins for my assets in my old age.

It is better to pick both and don't think about which one is the best, because I think that will take quite a bit of time. In actuality, these are the two best altcoins, their potential is almost identical.

Of course if you don't have too much capital you can invest one of the two, but if you have a lot you should choose both. This diversifies your investment portfolio and increases your odds of making big profits in the future, as both altcoins are bound to rise, although which one will rise stronger is still unclear.

If you have enough funds, choosing both are really good pick, though if you don't have that

such funds knowing that ETH is already expensive, you can either buy small portions of both coins or just buy BNB
if you also believe that the coin still has a lot of room to improve in terms of value.

But like you, first priority is having both assets, especially if you are aiming for long-term investment.
both are very possible to rise high along with BTC.
1519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 02, 2022, 08:07:55 AM
So now the Jazz has twin towers? Rudy Gobert and KAT? not sure if this is a good combination and what will Rudy bring to them? I think this is a bad trade for the Wolves, except for his defense, I don't think Rudy offers something that will change the course of their team. On the contrary he might be liable again when small teams going to take advantage of Rudy in pick and roll and then simply get past by him in iso play outside.

We don't know what potential Rudy might bring to the Wolves and what's the reason behind this trade,

KAT and Gobert combination inside if they will play together, the defense inside might be tighter, but like what you just said
Gobert can be a liability once the opponents go small and attack outside. They can use their quickness to kill the defense,
the best example to that is the GSW, where everyone can shoot outside when duty calls them to take the shots.
1520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any changes experienced within body - Gambling??? on: July 01, 2022, 05:48:38 PM
I also think the same.  The body reacts due to some mental disturbances caused by possibly too much disappointment or too much excitement.  After all, gambling does affect our mental states such as stress and happiness.  Possibly it is associated with losses since stress comes in when we are disappointed or depressed.
It will affect losses and wins because we will react based on what we get. But as long as we can use gambling to release tension in our busy times and not chase winnings, maybe we will not be so affected by the results we get because we know that gambling only has two outcomes, namely winning and losing. People who know the final result of gambling will prepare themselves for whatever the outcome is and react normally so that there is no excessive feeling as a result of the gambling results.

People know the very definitions of that two words are capable of not being affected that much.

If you are not really engage that much and you are just using this venue for having fun or killing your extra time, you
are free of any changes to your mind or in your physical body.

But if you take this venue seriously, there are lots of changes that may affect you, not just your personal, but also
your mental conditions.
