Erik ten hag seems to know what kind of players he needs to complete the Red Devils squad and Choupo-Moting is one of the best options, he did very well at Bayern Munich and scored goals too. We hope that the negotiation process will run smoothly and that it is time for Manchester United to return to the championship track this season.
Manchester united head coach, Erik ten hag knows the kind of quality players he needs in his squad, the fans or the board can not dictate what he needs, he only go for players that their qualities will served good contribution to the team positively. Choupo-Moting is a good player with remarkable performance, he's top player in Bayern Munich and his country. United definitely going to bounce back to the race of qualifying for the top four, they need to start generating consistency in winning their league games, if they want to sealed their position in the UEFA next season.

A lot of people do not agree with this, but I believe Choupo Moting is actually a good player. And with proper training, I think he can actually become a better player compared to what he already is. I think it is going to be good for Manchester United if they can play him as the main striker. And obviously, his performance is good for Bayern Munich. I think he will be able to perform just like that for Manchester United as well. He will also get a good amount of playing time because he is going to be the main striker of Manchester United.

The only problem is he is already 33 years old. So he will not probably be able to give his service and give good service to Manchester United for a longer period of time.
1502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 07, 2023, 05:16:19 PM
It's good that Bayern Munich can use the wealth they have to build the formidable team we see today. Not all rich teams can do it well, but Bayern Munich can do it well. Indeed, a team that is not solid cannot be separated from the finances of a good team, it supports every move they make, especially if it has something to do with nominal money. They don't have problems with financial difficulties that we often hear about in a team.
That means that Bayern Munich is extraordinary in managing their finances in the team so that Bayern Munich does not appear to be having financial difficulties because every expense and income is always well managed. Apart from that, the players owned by Bayern Munich also have the ability to play very well in the Bundesliga and it is likely that this will also be seen in the Champions League this season.

Bayern Munich is always very careful about its financial situation. And they are also very careful about which players are on the team. Wage management is also a very big thing for Bayern Munich. And we all also know how much they prioritize trophies. Basically, they are the actual club that prefers success over money. They know that if they perform well, the money is going to come eventually. I really want the other teams in the Bundesliga to understand that as well. If they do, the Bundesliga is actually going to become a competitive league again.
1503  Economy / Economics / Re: How do cryptocurrencies affect Global Economy? on: January 07, 2023, 04:36:37 PM
Honestly crypto currencies are affecting Global Economy at tiny fraction as compared to what goes around the world. I mean we talking about the Global scale economy and compared to that crypto currencies are nothing!

In my view, cryptocurrencies or bitcoins do not have any effect on the global economy even the slightest. It is true that the market has been interested and has had significant changes recently, but that is not enough for it to affect the macro level. It's too early to talk about that.
I don't underestimate crypto but after all we are still in the infancy of the crypto industry so we can't over exaggerate it. But I believe with its potential, it will become an industry comparable to other industries in the future. One of those signs is that people are starting to see bitcoin as digital gold.
1504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you found others' keys? on: January 07, 2023, 04:17:38 PM
To be honest, I've never thought about this issue, so it's a bit difficult to answer the question, I'm not lying or being as noble as many people here. But suppose I found someone else's keys, my greed would surface, and I would definitely open them up immediately. If its value is so little and insignificant, I certainly won't need it because I'm not too poor to have to steal. But if it's a large amount of bitcoin worth millions of dollars, I don't think I'm in a hurry to return it to that person, but maybe I will take it because I think then greed will overwhelm reason.
1505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 07, 2023, 12:07:20 PM
India VS Srilanka

The third and final T20 match will be played today. The series is at level at the moment and today's match will decide who win the series. In the last match India struggled both with bat & ball. Hopefully they won't repeat it today. The Srilankan team was at its best in the last match and I am sure they would like to repeat their performance.

Harshdeep Singh might get dropped and Sanju Samson might replace Rahul Tripathi. I am skeptical about Shubham Gill as his performance has been pathetic in the previous games. I feel he might also get dropped today.

This is the final and deciding T20 match between India and Sri Lanka. Both teams are going to try their best to win this match. If we look at the last match, we will see that India had some problems with their bowling lineup. The bowlers have conceded a lot of runs. And it was basically impossible for India to chase down that target.

I think today India will bring some changes in the bowling lineup, especially. And I am also hoping that this match is going to be a little more competitive compared to what happened in the last match. But obviously, as you said, Sri Lanka will look forward to repeating the performance that they did in the last match.
1506  Economy / Economics / Re: If your passive income beats inflation rate, deposit might be a better choice. on: January 06, 2023, 03:08:18 PM

My previous post "Use your money wisely. Invest or deposit ?" is a very hot topic which receives over 3000 views and more than 240 replies. I read all of your replies and summarize to one common advice: invest in Bitcoin rather than deposit in banks.

It's a bitcoin related forum so what other advice you were expecting? Obviously people will tell you to invest in bitcoin.

I honestly do not think in a same way! Bitcoin is a super volatile asset class. If you are in your 20s and have some disposable fund in your hand, go ahead and take the risk. But with age, your risk appetite will decrease. Start balancing your investment among many other asset classes to make the most out of it. Bitcoin can make you a millionaire if you invest in right time but it can make you go bankrupt as well, if your timing is not correct. So proceed with caution.

From the security perspective, bank deposits are way more safer than bitcoin!

The fairest comment I have ever seen, people keep saying that it is better to invest in bitcoin instead of depositing, but no one here can say with 100% certainty that bitcoin will make a profit for them. Despite being 13 years old, bitcoin is still a super risky speculative asset, no one can predict what will happen to bitcoin in the future. All of our predictions are optimistic because we are investing in BTC, but that doesn't mean they will come true. I wonder, people who invest in bitcoin for $69k, how are they fighting inflation?

To be fair, depositing money or investing has its advantages and disadvantages, it just needs to be balanced most reasonably.
1507  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: January 06, 2023, 02:50:32 PM
Until now there are still many people who do not believe in the crypto world who can earn big money and can manage our economic needs well, Many people are still hesitant about investing in bitcoin or altcoins and they still judge negative things about the crypto world, and this is not only the case for the poor and some rich people also respond too badly about the crypto world without studying well, Then never force anyone to get to know the crypto world without their own desires because we will definitely listen to negative assumptions.
It is because of a lack of education about crypto. Their views will remain thinking negative until such time they will know deeply about Bitcoin. Because what I see is that the majority are just living up to assumptions thinking that Bitcoin is not real but a full of scam. Without proper education, surely it was hard to encourage people to take a look at the benefits of investing in Bitcoin.
We couldn't argue with them, the only thing we can do is to let them discover the importance of Bitcoin, especially during inflation.

Sometimes it's not because of a lack of education but because they don't like cryptocurrencies and don't like their volatility. We can't force everyone to invest in crypto, or crypto will always appeal to everyone.

Besides crypto, we have many other areas to invest in, and it's each person's choice, such as our dislike of investing in gold and stocks, and they'll say we don't know anything about gold or stocks. Don't impose your opinion on others, cryptocurrency is not the only market that makes profit, many people have become rich by investing in gold, stocks without crypto.
1508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At What Age You Got into Bitcoin and also Trading? on: January 05, 2023, 12:45:09 PM
According to me mostly people that came in crypto are mostly young aged people that range from 15 to 30 years.

Nah.  I was 75 years old when I got came into crypto.
hey grandpa, if you are that old, you are amazing to be in this forum, maybe the oldest bitcointalk user today.
I even got to know bitcoin and this forum when I was 19 years old, maybe relatively young when I graduated from high school. Took me 1 year to study this forum and bitcoin.
You probably already have lots of grandchildren who know about bitcoin and understand what their grandfathers did with this forum.
Maybe he and @Jetcash are probably the oldest members of the forum we know, I remember Jetcash just turned 80, I don't remember exactly, but it must be.

And I have seen fewer old people that first got into crypto.

Perhaps that's because you know a lot of young people, and you don't know a lot of old people?

OP really only knows a lot of young people and doesn't know a lot of parents who join this forum.
Should we be doing a poll to find out the ages of the bitcointalk forum users and how many boys and girls are here?
Or if there has been a poll about the age of users and the number of genders in this forum, let me know.

Not only this forum, but I believe that many parents and grandparents are also investing in this market. Bitcoin not only attracts young people, but it will appeal to anyone who loves the new, is willing to accept the new, and those who are passionate about investment cannot ignore bitcoin. Bitcoin does not discriminate between rich and poor, racist, young or old...bitcoin is for everyone, who is willing to accept it.
1509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The mistake I made some years ago on: January 05, 2023, 12:30:51 PM
I dare say that not only you but almost all of us here have made the same mistake as you, and this is normal, nothing to regret because then we were all newbies and didn't have any experience in the market. If you regret your bitcoin, I will regret it a thousand times more than you because I used to buy and sell a few dozen to a few hundred bitcoins in 2014 and 2015 when the bitcoin price was at a few hundred dollars.

No one knows the future and those experiences tell us that investing in bitcoin is never a bad decision and we should start over as soon as possible. Don't just regret, but let the opportunity pass again.
1510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 04, 2023, 06:00:37 PM
The GOAT is back to PSG and he was welcomed with a guard of honor and given an award. His absence have been greatly felt because PSG's performance was not impressive especially against Lens. Their midfield was in disaray maybe because of Messi's absence. Kylian Mbappé have been doing his best but it seems he needs the support from other key players of the team. With Neymar and Messi resuming, PSG would have to fight to solidify its grip on the first position. Len's top management have been one of the best in Europe. The have been patient with coach Franck Haise and its nice to see the club competing with PSG for the  Ligue 1 Uber Eats title. I am really bored of PSG winning the league every season, maybe Lens should have it.
True, Messi's return to PSG and all his colleagues smiled at him during the training session, but PSG gave the guard of honor award which we know is an extraordinary award. In the absence of Messi in the attacking line, of course, creativity on the field has decreased a little, and that seems to have been felt by Mbappe when he lost against Lens yesterday. But now that it's complete again, there are Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar, it seems that PSG will rise again. Speaking of Lens, of course it will be an interesting competition with PSG at the top of the standings, actually, I also feel bored when a league is only dominated by 1 club and maybe Lens can break PSG's series of Ligue 1 titles this season.
I feel the same way,  I feel there should be a different story when it comes to Ligue 1 title winners this season. Though with the current squad that PSG possesses it may be difficult for Lens. Some seasons ago, the PSG squad was not as good as it is now and yet it was difficult for other contenders to overthrow them, now that the club has been raised to a different height I'm having doubts that they could be a change in Ligue 1 writings. But as long as football is consent, I think Lenz would make a difference this time.

The return of Lionel Messi to PSG is obviously going to be very good for the team. Honestly, I think they wouldn’t have lost in the last match if Lionel Messi was with them.

Anyway, there is no point in talking about what has already happened in the past. I believe from now on Lionel Messi is going to be a very important player for the team. Especially after witnessing what happened in the last match without him.

Another thing is I believe if Mbappé is going to be friendly with Lionel Messi, it is going to be better for PSG. I know that they are eventually going to win the league title. At this point, I am only interested to see how Lionel Messi can perform, and if he can break any personal records.

Now waiting for the results of the match from Inter vs Napoli, Inter's victory in this game is very important to bring Milan close to Napoli.

Inter versus Napoli match is going to be very interesting because if Inter can win this match, they will be able to jump multiple spots up on the table. And if Napoli wins, they will be able to solidify their position in first place on the table.

For some reason I want Inter to win this match. Just imagine Inter winning against Napoli and Juventus winning their next match. That would be really interesting. That will also make the table very interesting. If that happens, Napoli will be under some pressure from the teams that are below them. And the competition at the top of the table is going to be insane.

here are more transfer rumors and completed deals...
Dejan Lovren returns to olympique lyon after almost ten years. the ligue 1 club announced on monday that the croatian world cup participant will receive a contract until summer 2025.
Cristiano Ronaldo's new club al-nassr has reportedly identified Sergio Ramos (psg) as its next big-name signing for 2023.
manchester united, arsenal london and fc chelsea have all been approached by João Félix's agent, Jorge Mendes, and are currently considering making a move for the atlético forward

I do not know if Sergio Ramos is going to go to Al Nassr right now.
Because he has a good thing going on in PSG right now.
But the thing is if they are offering a better amount compared to PSG, I think Sergio Ramos should consider that offer.

About Joao Felix, he has great talent. It will be great for any team to get him in the team right now.
I am sure that one of the teams which his agent approached, he’s going to get him.

By the way, is Neymar staying in PSG?  Roll Eyes
1513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 02, 2023, 03:16:44 PM
the Arsenal vs Newcastle match will be a crucial match for both of them.

this fight will take place tomorrow, early morning on my country time. for sure, this match will be tough for Newcastle because if they lose this match. Manchester United could overtake their ranking position in the Premier League standings. moreover, Newcastle did not get maximum results in the previous game when they hosted Leed United. Like it or not, Eddie Howe's troops had to go all out to win this battle.

Likewise for the home team, this match was not easy for Arteta's troops because Newcastle have a pretty solid defense and they have a pretty sharp front line. I hope that the Gunners' young squad will not underestimate their opponents even though they are playing at the Emirates Stadium, their own headquarters.
As a Gunners fan, I hope Arsenal will continue with their positive trend to widen the points gap from Manchester City.

There is no doubt that this is going to be a very consequential match for both Arsenal and Newcastle United. Arsenal are currently in the top position in the EPL table and Newcastle are currently in third place at the moment, and there are only nine points separating these two teams at the moment.

This type of game is referred to as a six-pointer game because whoever wins this type of game tends to gain six points from it. Additionally, I have been on an insanely hot run in the EPL this season, as has Newcastle United, and I am hoping this trend continues. We are likely to be able to see a high scoring game between these two teams next Wednesday.
1514  Other / Off-topic / Re: Get to know the Child Phase before teaching Bitcoin and Financial Management. on: January 02, 2023, 08:05:22 AM
Useless article, it's just a common sense.

Is there any parents doesn't let the child play in their early ages? No.
Is there any parents doesn't teach responsibility, discipline, get closer with his child, and teach to make a wise decision? No.

The most important part for parents to teach their kids is about "privacy and security"

Make sure they learn how to live in simple, don't buy a branded things and don't show his wealth. What if he don't learn that and you've teach Bitcoin to him? I will expect he will say to his friend "hey I have x Bitcoin in my wallet, I'm rich!", when his friend got jealous, he will grab a knife and force you to send your Bitcoin/ask your seed phrase.

Totally agree, I don't understand why it's so important to teach kids bitcoin when they have so much to learn besides bitcoin. I already have kids but I never thought would teach them bitcoin, there are more important things: teaching them how to be human and how to help others...there's a lot for them to learn before they even know about bitcoin.

I want to know who is teaching bitcoin to their children, and what is the real goal? Financial freedom? So are you financially free? What about people who are richer than us and they don't use bitcoin?
1515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you get a time machine now? on: January 02, 2023, 07:50:00 AM

People who enter the market because of altcoins wouldn't touch Bitcoin,
Not really, I entered the market for the first time and invested in altcoins instead of bitcoin, partly due to a lack of knowledge, and partly due to the temptation of profits that altcoins offer. But during the bear season in 2018, all my altcoins disappeared, and I almost lost everything then I started to realize bitcoin is the safest investment in this market. Many crypto market participants are tempted by altcoins, but after losing, they realize that only bitcoin is worth investing in.

this mean either there's an altcoins hype or not, Bitcoin market is still same.

The same is not true, if bitcoin really became independent and had no connection to altcoins, then when Luna or FTX collapsed, the bitcoin price wouldn't plummet as quickly. All are related to each other.
1516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 01, 2023, 06:54:13 PM
Dortmund have made a lot of profit from selling their players. that is why until now, Dortmund is unshakeable. they do not need a rich owner, like the billionaires who come from Arabia. Dortmund has done a very good business, and we can see that there are many Dortmund players who have become stars. in this winter transfer window season or next summer transfer window, Dortmund will reap huge profits if their two players namely Jude Bellingam and Youssoufa Moukoko are released in the next transfer window and they will replace them with talented newcomers.

This is the business that Dortmund's management runs, because of that they don't rely too much on sponsors and selling match tickets. most importantly, Dortmund remains at the top level of the Bundesliga and always exists in the Champions League.
Almost every season Dortmund have made hugr profits in the transfer market selling their star players, in the last 5 years Dortmund have been team that consistently sells their players every season for over 100 million euros. Dortmund have adopted with business in football with regulation youth orbit and include them in regular position from tow until three years before becoming star player and have higher values transfer.

Still have two left star player and potential with huge profit for Dortmund in next window transfer, I sure Jude Bellingam and Youssoufa Moukoko are released with highest price more than 100 million euro, actually Jude Bellingham have waiting by many favorite team in Primer League from Liverpool, Manchester City until Manchester United want to get his sign.

Apart from all the football clubs so I think Borussia Dortmund's revenue system is a bit different. As we are accustomed to, we see the clubs generate revenue through winning trophies are placing better in the league but I think Borussia Dortmund's revenue system is scouting out younger talented players and selling them for a hefty fee.

We have seen this case for players like Erling Haaland, Mario Gotze, Mats Hummels, and very recently Jude Bellingham. I think the board of Dortmund like the way they make money from selling younger players to bigger clubs for a huge sum.
1517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 01, 2023, 06:05:10 PM
If anyone is worried about the break in play, causing Napoli some problems, I want to say I am not sure that they will not face any problems. But at the same time I will say that even if they do perform badly from this point, they cannot blame it on the break in place. Because they have a good enough lead. This type of breathing space is hard to get. Especially with how competitive the Italian league has become. So, I don’t see them giving up the first position to any other team. Not with how they have been performing before the World Cup.
I understand why they think Napoli's performance has dropped after competition break that's because Napoli lost the last 2 friendly matches
In fact, the defeat cannot be used as the basis for their performance in the next match because friendly matches are not important matches so sometimes they don't use strategy and the main players.

It is something that I have said before, and I am going to say it again. There is no way to judge the recent performance of a team by watching friendly matches.
It is impossible to do that. It is therefore clear to me that they have lost in the friendly matches that they played.
Nevertheless, that does not mean anything in the long run. At least that's not the case for me.

Friendly games might not be mandatory to alot of people but they're quality and good assessment to how a team has been both in a good way and bad way. But if they have lost two of those they need to do better all because the Seria A comes to a quick start soon and I hope they don't drop my high hopes down, I'm down on my knees begging.

They should face Inter Milan, Inter Milan has been a good side before the FIFA World Cup as they won some games I felt they shouldn't have won. What I expect from the game against Napoli should at least be a draw.

Prior to the World Cup, Napoli was also regarded as one of the premier teams in the Italian League.
As a matter of fact, I do not think that this is going to change too much after the break either.
In my opinion, if they are able to win against Inter, it is going to be such a significant confidence booster for them.
Because they do not have a very successful record against Inter in recent times.
1518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and proof of stake on: January 01, 2023, 02:32:32 PM

It is true that no one can control bitcoin, even large countries cannot possibly control bitcoin.
While bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that does not have a holder behind it, so no one controls bitcoin itself, even the price of bitcoin cannot be regulated.
Unless someone is able to massively adopt bitcoins with at least more than 60% of the bitcoin supply he holds, however I think it is very unlikely anyone can adopt more than 60% of bitcoins.

No one can control bitcoin is true, but I doubt when you say bitcoin price is not regulated. Although bitcoin is decentralized but bitcoin price is being listed on centralized exchanges, so price correction is possible, as long as the government really wants to crack it down, then bitcoin price regulation will not be too difficult for them.

That's what I'm afraid, once the regulation is in place, the government will intervene in the market, in addition to controlling us, they can also adjust the bitcoin price to their will.
1519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My First Bitcoin on the New Year Day 2023. on: January 01, 2023, 02:21:50 PM
Congratulations on getting your first bitcoins and even more glad you picked the right time to buy bitcoins. I mean new year + new opportunity(bitcoin). Hopefully by the end of the year, I will hear your success story on this forum.

I do hope that you plan to move bitcoin to your own non-custodial wallet, so you have complete control over your money. My suggestion is Electrum for start and then eventually a hardware wallet.
The current withdrawal fee to bitcoin wallet from binance exchange is 0.0002 btc, so if the OP wants to withdraw it to non-custodial wallet then of course he will only receive around 0.00011254 bitcoin after deducting the withdrawal fee. I don't think the OP should be doing it now as his current bitcoin value is no more than $6, but if the OP has $60, $100, or higher then I would also suggest he do so.
I agree, I know this is OP's first bitcoin, it's as precious as our first bitcoin, but for that small amount, he should keep leaving them on binance instead of withdrawing to non-custodial wallet. Currently, Binance is also safe and has not had any problems, withdrawing bitcoin only makes him more frustrated because the transaction fees are too high.
1520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 01, 2023, 10:22:45 AM
I agreed with you this statement when you have end of the match in a draw then good or poor performance not matters but still I am feeling bad for the New Zealand because they have done historical performance in this match specially Williamson who was playing his first test match after leaving captaincy done amazing performance, and they were almost near the win this match but sadly their bowlers unable to take tail enders quickly which cost them this match in a draw and their all historical performance gone into vain, but surely they can be proud on their performance and can fight back in coming match which could be last of this series because right now Pakistani management and team both are giving the worst on and off the field things which are never been helpful for the development of this game.
A review of the match shows that New Zealand were ahead but some of the Pakistani batsmen were batting with conviction towards the end. If New Zealand were able to break the partnership between them, it would have been easy to win the match. After the seventh wicket, there was a lot of doubt in the match, that the match would probably go in New Zealand's favor. But the match ended in a draw as their effort was good till the end of the day.
Yes the New Zealand played really well in the last match and won the series but now we can't predict that the New Zealand will win. Because, may be Pakistan practice really well in these previous days and can play well in this match too. So let's wait who will play well. Performance will show everything.  Smiley

I’ve got New Zealand as the better team throughout this whole test match. Pakistan was nowhere near being the better team in this match. Pakistan was just able to defend well at certain moments in the match. And that is the only reason why they did not lose the match.

If New Zealand had even ten more overs, I am sure they would have won the test match. This is happening just because the Pakistan Cricket Board not trusting their own players,, lol. They could have made a track that is not so batting-friendly. But they chose the safe option which in the end almost cost them that match.
