15041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: April 10, 2018, 01:48:23 AM
Till now I have read the white-paper of 2-3 altcoins, in addition to that of Bitcoin. Many of these whitepapers are hastily written, with no added information. Sometimes they deliberately use complex language, in order to hide their demerits.
15042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 69 ETH, What to do? on: April 10, 2018, 01:46:51 AM
My prediction is that ETH might reach a price level of around $2,000 sometime in 2019. In that case, you can sell 50% of your coins at that price, which will net you around $70,000 before taxes. You can decide to invest in some other asset using this money.
15043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am i late to buy bitcoin now ?? on: April 10, 2018, 01:18:06 AM
I wouldn't say it is late now, but you need to remember that you can't expect Bitcoin to give you 10x or 100x returns in a single year anymore. Also, you need to be prepared to face almost total loss. Keep these things in mind, before investing in the digital currency.
15044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: April 10, 2018, 01:15:56 AM
It is never too late to invest in Bitcoin. Even now the crypto-currency is having only around 100 million users. It has the potential to reach an user-base of up to 2.5 billion. So even now we are going through the early adopter phase.
15045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: April 10, 2018, 01:09:11 AM
Transaction fees are beneficial to those who send a lot of money, because it is calculated based on the size of the transaction. But for those who would like to send a little, the transaction fee seems expensive compared to the time when you have to wait until it is confirmed

Have you checked the fee lately? The last time I checked, it was around 1 Satoshi per Byte, which is equivalent to close to $0.02 per transaction. It can't get any lower than this. Unless you are sending less than $1 worth of coins, it is going to be fine.
15046  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War III ? on: April 09, 2018, 04:16:03 AM
Everyone is anticipating world war III and it will happen soon.

Why do you think so? I am 99.99% sure that the next world war is at least 20-30 years away. Now almost a dozen nations (including North Korea and Pakistan) are in the possession of nuclear weapons. That means that there is a very high chance of nukes being used in the next world war.
15047  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Still Love Democracy? on: April 09, 2018, 04:14:09 AM
Democracy is better than dictatorship any day.

I don't think so. I am living in India, which is regarded as the largest democracy in the world (in terms of population). The problem here is that the major voting blocs have successfully managed to oppress the voices of the smaller blocks.
15048  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to stop smoking? on: April 09, 2018, 04:11:57 AM
I am also a smoker lover. But after I realized that bieng a smoker is not good for the health. It give us burden because it can cause damages our organs to malfuction. That's is why I decided to quit smoking before its to late.

Great to hear that you have decided to quit smoking. That is the first step. And how you are managing to weed out your nicotine addiction? I will give you some help. If you are serious about it, then you need to keep distance from your friends who are avid smokers.
15049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins for 2-3 years holding! on: April 09, 2018, 03:53:09 AM
to hold altcoin holding in the long term, I suggest to HODL big coins, like ETH, NEO, WAVES etc.
because this coin already has trust and is very unlikely if the price will go down

There is no guarantee that the prices will not go down for these coins. But one thing can be sure. These coins will not become worthless even if the market crashes. They will be having some value. Apart from the coins which you had mentioned, I'd like to add XMR, BCH, Stellar, and LTC.
15050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% OF ALL AIRDROPS ARE SCAMS!!!!! on: April 09, 2018, 03:51:10 AM
I think its wasting time if you playing in airdrops, many of them are not paying, even when they pay the value are worthless. They didn't even have any price and listed in exchanges.

Yeah... you are right. I have also noticed this. Scammers have taken advantage of the sharp rise in interest in the crypto-currencies. Many of them are holding airdrops in which worthless alts or tokens are being given, and at the same time these people are compiling data regarding emails and ETH wallet addresses of the users.
15051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: April 09, 2018, 03:39:06 AM
I prefer joining bounty programs rather than those airdrops because on airdrops, it is not 100% sure if would have value and it's just like beggar in bitcoin. They just give you a small amount of tokens.

In that case, many of the bounties also refuse to pay you any tokens once the campaign is over. In other cases, they will credit your wallet with the tokens, but these tokens may be worthless and can't be exchanged for either Bitcoin or Ethereum.
15052  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people buy high and sell low on: April 09, 2018, 02:21:00 AM
More than 90% of those who are selling at a loss had purchased Bitcoins thinking that BTC will make them millionaires over-night. These guys don't have the patience and therefore they are dumping their coins. Good for Bitcoin, I'd say.
15053  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How do I avoid tax on crypto on: April 09, 2018, 02:19:15 AM
If I make money on crypto currencies. How do I avoid as much tax as possible?

If you want to avoid paying taxes on crypto, then there are both legal and illegal methods to do that. If you want to go the legal way, then I'd ask you to hire a good tax consultant. If you want to take the illegal way, then you can do that through pre-paid debit cards or cash on mail.
15054  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why did RBI ban cryptocurrency? on: April 09, 2018, 02:17:17 AM
As far as I know, the RBI hasn't banned crypto-currency as of yet. But they have been making crypto-currency trading more and more difficult. The latest news is that they have banned banks from dealing in crypto.
15055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: April 09, 2018, 02:15:43 AM
Well, we are already in 2018 and bitcoin is still number one and might continue to hold that position until you and i are no more. Ethereum is next after bitcoin, but i dont think it is seriously competing with bitcoin, i just think it is also superor to the other altcoins.

These sort of threads have appeared here ever since 2011. But even after all these years, no altcoin is capable of giving a tough competition to Bitcoin. I am not saying that it may not happen in the future. But at least for the next 2-3 years, we don't have to think about it.
15056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan plans to become the Bitcoin capital of the world. on: April 09, 2018, 02:13:46 AM
We have a bundle of good new appearing today.
This one is about Japan future leadership in Crypto world.
JAPAN plans to become the Bitcoin capital of the world

The Japanese law makers were quick to realize the potential of Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies, unlike the neighboring nations such as South Korea and China. The Russians also should learn something out of this. The hostile attitude of the Russian government forced a lot many of the Bitcoin business out of that country. Else Russia could have become the Bitcoin capital of the world.
15057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin going to be forever pump and dump? on: April 09, 2018, 01:21:32 AM
It is almost impossible to do pump and dump with Bitcoin now. It may be possible with some small altcoin with limited acceptability, but definitely not with Bitcoin. BTC is now traded in hundreds of exchange around the world and the daily trade volume is in billions of USD. It is not possible to manipulate the prices.
15058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most common uses of Bitcoin? on: April 09, 2018, 01:19:25 AM
Bitcoin will be the opportunity to reduce the unemployment rate. Employees can use their idle time to accumulate Bitcoin, thereby increasing their personal income. Bitcoin can change your personal life if you are smart and hard working. You have the ability, and you succeed in an ICO project, your life will be much better. In general, you do not need too much time, you can play an investment role to increase profits. This is not easy if you are in the real work environment.

This is a ridiculous argument. An asset with a market cap of around $120 billion can hardly create an impact in creating new jobs. If you are talking about bounty contests and signature campaigns, then please understand that they can't employ all the 7.5 billion people in the world.
15059  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is your take on homosexuality? on: April 08, 2018, 05:40:27 AM
What is there to say? means homosexuality is just a mental abnormality and for this jailing or beating is just a crime

Who jails homosexuals? Even if homosexuality is illegal in a particular country, I don't think that they will go to the extent in jailing these people. Well, in Arab nations such as Saudi Arabia and Sudan, the situation may be different.
15060  Other / Politics & Society / Re: the effects of drugs on people... on: April 08, 2018, 05:38:37 AM
basically a drug is made for treatment, but many users do negative things. thereby causing many dangers for every country where people use drugs. especially if already in use by school children in the country so that it can damage the nation's generation of children

Drugs such as Oxycodone and Hydromorphone were originally invented for medical usage, but in due course of time people found a way to abuse them. One of the reasons may be the availability of alternatives. This is one of the reasons why I support the legalization of marijuana. If weed is legalized, then the abuse of Opioid drugs can be reduced.
