15101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: SATOSHI FINALLY REVEALED! on: May 04, 2016, 10:03:15 AM
Which is strange since the real Satoshi would have quite a bunch of Bitcoin to spend for a wealthy life.

Making it even stranger, this guy seams to have a load of bankruptcies in his historic, including past-strong-bitcoin ones.

My thougths are:
* this guy is not Satoshi
* Satoshi either cannot access his funds (people often throw away/lose things they've used testing/toying around and it may be the case), either he's dead.

Thank you PD, received my 0.005. Played some, won some, lost some, cashed in some. Great promotion, as always!
15103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: SATOSHI FINALLY REVEALED! on: May 04, 2016, 09:55:14 AM
Why would we give credit to someone showing up with lame attempts?! More over, what is there to gain on pose as Satoshi? There's no prize, no bounty for it... At best he would get a huge and warm thanks from the community, including mine, but that's it.

Actually, as somebody else also talked about this on another thread, while we have an altcoin calling itself the right Bitcoin, some may hope that support from Satoshi would make their claim legit. And for this they need a Satoshi.

Then, Bitcoin is now something big. Only the television rights for this ... (I wanted to say farce, but maybe I'm wrong).. can fill nicely some pockets.

15104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright to move coins from an early (genesis?!) block? on: May 03, 2016, 03:45:12 PM
Essentially, something is going on where we wants people to believe he is Satoshi, a lot think its a solvency thing and Gavin is willing to back him up on his satoshi claim as having satoshi be a supporter of your fork is a huge thing.

This makes sense indeed. It's the best theory for now imho.

After watching how toxic this community has become... I wouldn't want to prove I was satoshi either.

If Satoshi would have wanted to come into light, he could have done it better and long ago.
But Satoshi is a smart person, he knows that he lost his private keys long ago and he has no chance to prove himself, so he just stays low.

Also, you are right. Bitcoin community is not very nice. It may be the hunger for money that makes the people worse.
15105  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Dowanload Games and Earn Bitcoins on: May 03, 2016, 03:37:33 PM
Hi Folks,

My name is raza.

i am a new comer here.

I do not know much about this forum, but will try to stay alive here to learn things.

I have made this post for the following reason:

One of my younger brother is Game developer and develops games in unity for iOS and Android.

To publicize his games i have developed a blog where i have given the links to his games. Whenever a unique user will download a game he will earn the respective bitcoin amount for the download he made, which i will transfer directly to his Bitcoin wallet from my wallet after completing game download. My aim is to promote the games of my brother so that he could earn from advertisements on his games.

The link to my blog is as follows:

https://bitcoinpakistan.wordpress.com/tag/earn-bitcoins/

I would also request you guys to suggest me about how can i improve the blog for better results.

Best Regards,

Raza

However interesting I find your idea of advertising, I see a couple of flaws in it.
1. People here are very skeptical about installing things from here, since the wrong app may steal from the wallet from their phone/tablet.
2. You are newbie, meaning that people don't know if you'll actually pay (you have nothing to lose if you don't).
3. You don't offer to pay much - if I calculated right, it's about 0.15$ total for all the Android games. A post in this forum, from a signature campaign, worth more (and it's safer from all points of view).

Good luck though.

15106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright to move coins from an early (genesis?!) block? on: May 03, 2016, 03:23:00 PM
It won't be the genesis block and I doubt it will be the address from block 9, if he moves anything it will be a low number block miner which he bought the keys for and paid a lot of money to do so.

So he just scams BBC and maybe other news stations to display the cheap show where he will prove nothing....
15107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright to move coins from an early (genesis?!) block? on: May 03, 2016, 03:19:05 PM
This is soooooo fishy..... Meaning, he can just move them in the safety of his home. We will all know it happened.
Does a person with so many Bitcoin really need the money BBC would give for this .. "show"?

On the other hand, yet another little storm around Bitcoin, which can only make it even more popular  Grin
15108  Other / MultiBit / Re: I need HELP with my MULTI BIT HD. PLEASE! on: May 03, 2016, 03:00:31 PM
Instead of using a friend's machine, you could do one of the 3:
1. On your current instance try "Reset block chain and transactions" then leave it sync.
2. Uninstall multibit HD, clean up its files from %appdata% then install again and recover.
3. Install a virtual machine (eg oracle virtualbox) and install there all you need.

~Long childish story.~

Sorry, the plot is rather weak, but it can go for a pretty Hollywood movie with the right actors.
Don't forget to put as visible as possible many screens with numbers scrolling on them!

15111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What payment for selling BTC is safe and irreversible? on: May 01, 2016, 04:00:00 AM
Bitcoin cards.
The fees are usually pretty high, but at the moment you bought goods with the card, nobody will 'revert'.

Fill cards with Bitcoin and spend for goods. It's the safest I can think about.

Also there are a few exchanges that are good, but getting the money into your bank account is not a safe thing again....
15112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why you enable 2FA. on: May 01, 2016, 03:51:38 AM
I will never enable 2FA. What happens if for some reason I lost my phone, it is stolen, or I lost my number by any reason?! I can imagine it can bring you many troubles.

You just need to follow simple security rules to keep your accounts safe. It is not rocket science.

Better safe than sorry!

The sites offering 2FA also offer a secret key. Open your eyes, save that and your 2FA is safe even if you lose your phone.

Of course, you can do it your way, which is good until proven otherwise.

15114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Clinton is now a Bitcoiner. on: April 29, 2016, 10:49:35 AM
So, how about Hitler's first Bitcoin? Charles Manson's first Bitcoin?

If you manage to rise Hitler from the dead and give him Bitcoin, it would be great: it will surely go into all kind of newspapers, "A bitcoiner woke the nazi from the dead", "The nazi became bitcoiner" and so on.

You should look better around yourself. News coverage means attention and money, however it that news coverage obtained.
Most start stars know that and exploit that. Would you really believe all of them are so stupid to do so many stupid things and so often by mistake? Really?

Now about the problems Clinton has. You need proof. Then he'll face trial. (*)
Without proof of guilt, people are considered innocent in most countries, however bad that makes us feel.

(*) Sorry, I am not well informed about all the sh*t going on in USA, but I can assure you, all politicians have their hands dirty (some with blood too), all over the world. I hope they'll all rot in prison, but that doesn't happen often enough.

Edit: spelling
15115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unconfirmed transaction & No inventory information available. on: April 29, 2016, 10:27:37 AM
the problem is that the transaction is 5825bytes in size which would require atleast 60k satoshi to have priority (10k satoshi per 1000kb). you can only do now is wait for the miners to include your transaction in a block and/or if your transaction get dropped from the memory pool just send it again with sufficient fees so it will be confirmed on the next block

Thank for your answer, its important for me. May I question you? How I can to know a transaction size to set correct fee? And I saw transactions that was created after my transaction and fees was the same but succefully included in a blocks.

The size of your transaction depends on in and out.
In = the number of transactions that filled that money in your wallet.
Out = the number of wallets you actually send money to.

Since out uses to be small for normal user, I think that the problem in your case is in. And this usually means that your money comes from faucets.
Basically if you use faucets too much, you can end up paying most of that income as tx fee, so be careful with that.
15116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Clinton is now a Bitcoiner. on: April 29, 2016, 10:14:45 AM
Whatever he did in the past, however bad he looks like (wow), he's still a public figure and if this goes to the news, it can be a great gain.

I'm curious about the news coverage for this and what will they actually say.
If they'll bring it to the news and tell about Bitcoin, then it's a gain.
Else it was useless. Because unlike a car he would use and people would see him in, Bitcoin is not that visible..

What features are contained in the latest version?

The latest wallet can "read" Rai, KRai and MRai.
