You should check and prevent dipping if ad blocker is active, else your revenues will drop a lot.

Since the number of captcha solvers increased, the number of "try again" or "invalid account" replies from the faucet started to increase. I guess that an upgrade of some sort is needed.

Me too. I hope that very soon Joe will announce the new wallet. It would be great if it turns out to be released during the weekend. Besides that, I can't wait for POI IV to be announced real soon. I'm getting ready my XMG for this exciting event. I wonder when it would be... Wonderful news! I hope I will not miss this round of POI...

For the ones (still) using Chrome, just install the plugin called Ghostery. You'll be surprised of how many sites try to spy on you.

Google illegally spying on people on the internet
Actually you are spied by anyone that can spy on you. If you use Windows (especially Win10) it's Microsoft. If you browse the internet, then it's at least Google, but actually there are 100s of sites, some of them older than Google (Yahoo is one of them and that's one of the reasons it worth that much), but all the sites handling banners do spy on you. Then there's the antivirus/security solution you use. Then there's your phone. Then the TV tells forward what channel you prefer (some smart TVs were caught sending away even the discussions from your home "to improve voice commands" lol). So yeah, it's not only Google. They are only more visible.

I'll add one thought: In addition to losing your bitcoin to a thief, you need to be aware of the risk of losing bitcoins due to loss of a private key (or your password to access a private key). You need a strategy that copes with both risks. Having a single paper wallet printed from an offline machine with all the security precautions in the world won't save you if you subsequently lose the paper wallet in a house fire, for example.
From prior discussion here, it seems the best strategy for large amount of BTC may involve a multi-signature strategy (m of n keys required to spend) with multiple copies of each key carefully distributed in safe places. In this way the loss of one (or more) keys to a thief will not result in stolen bitcoin, and the loss of single password or private key will likewise not cut off your ability to access your own bitcoin.
This is an interesting idea. You can give out 2 of the private key to people you trust, for safe keeping, without telling them what is that. Of course, you have to trust them they will never actually know what you gave them and that if they team up they can get your money. And if it's about trust and not telling what is that, you can have normal wallets and hide (a copy of) the private keys inside a fake letter or anything and give to your parents for safe keeping. Or you can hide the private keys on USB sticks inside certain files only you know about. Really, there are plenty of options. The actual enemy of paper wallets is yourself. Because over time you start forgetting. And you have to keep in mind the actions you did for safe keeping. More sophisticated is the security, more you have to remember after some years.

From what I know, cash withdrawal is possible. But depending on the card you need and the privacy you want, the amounts to handle are limited. For example Coinsbank (former Bit-X), for anonymous card, allows only 250 EUR (300$) withdrawal. (see here: https://coinsbank.com/cards-details) Please take also into the account the various fees that come with these cards.

I know of people complaining that they've lost BTC - some had a browser extension that supposed to be a price ticker, but actually stole their money, some had (too) big amounts on exchanges that got "hacked". My BTC are safe .... until proven otherwise

Something's in the air. When it comes, it will come fast.
I so wish you're right... But I think that you are far too optimistic. If it goes to 500-600$ I'd be already happy it rose.

Are the payments delayed?

My stats were reset a couple of hours ago and now I just got the mail from Coinsbank that I received the payment. So... patience...

No offence but this seems really fishy. Why would someone just be giving away free copies of windows and bitdefender.
Since they are cracked versions and OP didn't pay a dime for them, I don't see why would this be fishy. Some people try to be nice if it doesn't cost them. I had cracked antivirus on my computer for years... well, that was before I started to have anything valuable (wallets, credit card payments, ...) done on my computer. Now.. I got more paranoic.

Complete discussion > you can discuss anything everything about bitcoin power !
You actually can discuss about everything, not only Bitcoin. Just see the Politics&Society and Offtopic areas and you'll see. It's a big community and the information flows nicely.

I wonder why are you giveaway the antivirus.
Anybody checked the files ?
I didn't check the files, but I can answer to this. Since I asked for a key for mobile security solution, I tried to see about the Eset keys he provided. Now... I will not install a security solution from a forum, however good are the intentions of the one who provides it. (Sorry OP) I tried, however, the keys on the stock Eset mobile security. And they did not work So I'd say that the provided installers may be slightly (?) changed to actually accept the key. Of course, I will not say anything else about them. They may be trojans, they may have whitelisted some malware, or they may be only changed for the key, I don't know. I am just too paranoic to try that out.
