15181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: July 14, 2018, 09:17:45 AM

bah you can say that it's a money used for "marketing".
it's a nice domain but I don't know if it will help anything maybe they are sure of their release for buying this domain

$1.5 million to buy the crypto.com domain is a huge mistake because they paid from the ICO funds but the ICO funds were not to be spent on buying domain names.

Monaco Card will sink nothing will save it, the investors will lose their $26 million but since there is no accountability on part of the Monaco team to explain how and where the funds are being spent I am sure they will not be out of pocket when Monaco Card collapses

Therefore, in general, the crypto currency market will completely collapse, when bitcoin will again discount.

Why do you say that?
15183  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Roger Ver to be sued for defrauding bitcoin newbies. on: July 14, 2018, 09:12:12 AM
The way he advertises BCT is disgusting. When no one owns the Bitcoin brand and there are thousands of discs created using the Bitcoin brand

What is BCT?
15184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Lost Coins: Approximate Number That Cannot Be Retrieved on: July 14, 2018, 09:11:51 AM

Well this could be hardly traced because all of the transactions being done and people involving on it could not be identify if that bitcoin is lost even if it is being hold for a long time it does not mean that bitcoin is loss already. However, I think it could be recorded if there are individuals to report about their lost on bitcoin holdings.

Yes lost coins could not be traced but we are talking about estimates.
15185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the "NEW" Ethereum Arrive? on: July 14, 2018, 09:10:24 AM
Next big coin should have a blockchain which will solve scalability issue. I believe it's ethereum. Because this problems is already solved on the paper. We know it as sharing and plasma. So, i guess now only thing left to do Is just implementing that technology but this in turn requires long-term development.

Long term development is the key to success in any feature. I hope it happens soon in a new coin and becomes successful.
15186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the "NEW" Ethereum Arrive? on: July 14, 2018, 12:19:03 AM
When Ethereum was released with its contracts and tokens, it revolutionised cryptos.

What sort of new additions would you like to see in the next big coin that benefit the community and bring forward crypto innovation?

I don;t want to see any ethereum successor anymore, Ethereum can't handle mass adoption with it's current transaction per seconds speed.
Scalability is the main concern and Vitalik still in the process of solving this, I still hope that ethereum can overcome with this problem. There are already a few candidate of the "NEW ETHEREUM" in-the-making with higher than 1000TPS-400,000TPS. Some of this are Solana, Holochain and Quarkchain.

Thank you for the interesting post. I was not asking about Ethereum and its issues, instead I was asking about blockchain innovation. Before Ethereum there were no contracts so the team innovated and created a great product and function so what functionality will the next big coin have?
15187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Lost Coins: Approximate Number That Cannot Be Retrieved on: July 14, 2018, 12:16:35 AM
No one knows the certainty of bitcoin loss due to paswod loss or forget paswod, but I think a lot of bitcoin is missing and I think it's almost 1 million bitcoin.

If that is true then represents 1 out of 17 Bitcoins, I would have though the figure much higher

15190  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $20,000 ? on: July 13, 2018, 11:06:01 PM
When do you think Bitcoin will go back to the $20,000 mark and what factors do you think could contribute to making it happen sooner rather than later?

One year or more.
We need the hype to go down. Everyone needs to realize this is not a game but a market. Too many come to bitcoin just for quick money. We need good long term holders that appreciate the value of bitcoiin.

I think this year will be a bad year for crypto all round because the value has fallen so much

I dont know untill which level the development of these project now, and i dont know their product is already live for public or not yet. And now iam interesting to see other similar project that allow to pay good and service easyly by cryptocurrency, and this project already has live product and used in some cafe and restaurant, this project is Pundi x.

Monaco seems a failed project because its team is useless. About other card does anyone have any information?
15193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monaco Visa Card ICO Updated - Q&A with CEO Kris Marszalek on: July 13, 2018, 11:02:50 PM

Hi Everyone,

I'm the founder of Monaco.

I would like to invite you all to our slack channel at slack.mona.co - most of the issues you have raised were addressed there already.

We've got a high-caliber team and advisory board working on this project. Our co-founder and CFO is ex-Mastercard, we've got ex-Visa folks on the advisory board, alongside executives from AWS, Adyen, Emarsys. The team worked hard for almost a year to build a great product and bring it to the market and I think given the response we have received so far from the community (1500+ contributions), it was time & capital well spent.

Cryptocurrencies are no longer a niche market. Top 3 exceed $60b in market cap cumulatively. What the market needs is a company that is serious about KYC, risk, compliance to come up with a product that bridges the gap between crypto & mass market. That's Monaco. That's who we are, that's our raison d'ętre.

For all the people who are still sceptical about the project, please follow our progress over the next couple of months, slack.mona.co is the best place to do it. We're keen listeners and are very serious about building a product that the community will love. We have hit our ICO goals already, we do not need your contribution, but we do want you as a user of our product to start, and eventually as a fervent advocate, once you have a Monaco card sitting in your wallet.

Kris

PS. Thank you for the suggestion to update my LinkedIn profile. We are in the process of unifying our entire online presence under Monaco brand and phasing out the Foris name. It should look real good next week.

So when it comes to begging for investment you make yourself available and known but as soon as you get the cash you stop posting here.

Shame on you
15194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: July 13, 2018, 09:40:34 PM
I never understand why they did not search if the name have a copyright before using it. I ask them but i never had an answer...

The Monaco team is incompetent, they are bunch of fortunate fools who hit it big beyond their aspirations when they raised $26 million in the ICO and did not know what do with it.

The fools decided to spend $1.5 million on buying the domain name "crypto.com" even though the money raised from the ICO was not intended to buy domain names or anything else. The money raised was intended for the development of the Monaco Card.
15195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: July 13, 2018, 08:57:12 PM

Hello,

Simple in fact have you seen the logo Monaco on cards have dissapear now is just MCO. Look the cards at the beginning the Monaco name was on it. The reason i think is Monaco city open a case in december 2017 again MCO because there is copyright on the name Monaco and Monaco MCO use it without
authorization. I never understand why they did not solve the problem before they run the business (check if the name you want use it for your business have a copyright) !! I suppose the cards has been never  sending because of this and certainly other things we didn't know. Now it seem's ok. The cards have just mco on it.  It will be ok.

Monaco seems a failure to me because when ICOs raise $26 million and have no product over a year after the Team received the cash, then it is a BIG problem. Time to worry for investors.

Is this coin dead or alive? Why do devs create coins then run off after making a quick buck without providing proper support or developing it up to date.

They cannot even be bothered to login here to address concerns
15199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monaco, the controversial ICO gaining traction on: July 13, 2018, 08:50:11 PM
Monaco ICO Update
Monaco began its ICO on May 18th, 2017.  Their platform is a visa card that will automatically be funded in real time by your cryptocurrency wallet with best in industry exchange rates.
They passed their minimum funding goal of 5,000 ETH easily and have now passed their secondary goal of 30,000 ETH with a total of approximately 32,500 ETH raised.

SCAM

Monaco card seems to be a huge scam, raising all the money from the ICO and then not doing anything apart from making a glossy website and spend $1.5 million of the ICO funds to aquire the crypto.com domain
and i think the recent news that said about that has been creating a partnership with visa is a joke. The only project that makes you able to spend your altcoin is only tenx pay but due to the visa crest and investors can't do it again and they must waiting for a new card that will be distributed at the end of this year

Monaco team have not handled this properly. They must have seen the $26 million raised in the ICO and got a shock at how successful it was then they took their eye off the ball.

They oversold the VISA approval before it even happened then ran into difficulty as there were delays before it was granted. No accountability has been presented to the investors about how, why and where the money has been spent and how much is left.

Monaco Visa Card might not be a joke (time will tell) but the Monaco team definitely are a joke. I do not trust the Monaco team at all.
15200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: July 13, 2018, 03:22:26 PM
MONACO is the leader project of the currency payment card. The technology of the project team is in the first class level, so we can patiently hold this coin.

Where is the proof? What is the evidence you have to conclude they are "first class level"?

The Monaco team looked a bit untrustworthy to plenty of people from the word go. As for "patiently holding this coin" what else are investors supposed to do? The Monaco team took $26 million from the ICO over a year ago and have not even launched the cards even though they have been saying for over a year the cards will be issued "soon"
