15181  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Legit (cloud)mining sites? on: July 21, 2015, 05:31:27 PM
So I bought some GHS on Bit-X. Does that mean that it will start mining or how does it work?
In de user guide I don't really find much info about the mining part.

bit-x is primarily an exchange, so there is no dedicated UI for mining, but once the GHs are in your balance, mining begins immediately and you will be rewarded your shared daily. nothing else to do.
If i have gas in bit-x, i can sell or trade everytime i want like cexio. How daily income per 1 ghs

You can check here how much does a 1 ghs mining power could earn you in a day, though take into consideration that there are things like maintenance costs and fees that you need to pay before you get your actual earnings in a cloud mining service.

15182  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: July 21, 2015, 05:29:09 PM
If the demands stays the same and correlates with the decrease in the supply, I'd say there will be a price appreciation. But if the price didn't rise, then bitcoin has a lot of catching up to do.
15183  Economy / Economics / Re: Number of transactions on a specific exchange on: July 21, 2015, 05:23:52 PM
Most exchanges only view recent transactions for the past hour and most of them do not display all the transactions that occurred on the past 24 hours. Checking the volume of trades done in an exchange could, in some way, help you in determining the transactions that occurred in a certain exchange.
15184  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 21, 2015, 05:20:40 PM
The question is, what does rich mean to you? Some say, they are rich when they have $100k, other $1mln and others $1bln.
You need to clear that first in order to get an appropriate answer  Cool

I think you can be considered rich if you can afford to buy many things that aren't a necessity of yours, say buy 4 cars when you can only buy 1 and use 1. Spending power and net worth is really important in the definition of rich in this case.   Roll Eyes
15185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How To Make Money With Bitcoin? on: July 21, 2015, 05:18:22 PM
Signature campaigns are really good ways to earn you some bitcoins, but if you have some skills to offer to someone, go ahead and try posting it in the Services section. Since you stated that you aren't that familiar in day-trading, whatever bitcoins you get from whatever method you've done, I'll advise you to stay away from trading unless you are educated with it. Gambling is a no-no in earning bitcoins; in the long run you're more likely to lose.
15186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Jet for Big Game Commercial - Vote Now on: July 21, 2015, 05:13:30 PM
sorry for the 2 secs dothebeats  Wink

thanks guys!

if you have twitter, FB - share please.

Lol that's fine. Already shared to my social media accounts. Btw, is it restricted to 1 IP per vote or not?

I think you can vote once every 24 hours.

Everyone else should be sharing it, we have a chance of winning it! All the other things to vote for don't look very popular/appealing, and they don't look like they would have a big community to vote for it.

I see now, let me see if I can vote through my neighbors' pc.

EDIT: Just cast a vote on my neighbor's pc.
15187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brainwallet on: July 21, 2015, 05:05:40 PM
It is unadvised mainly because it lacks true randomness. It can easily be guessed by hackers if they want to, especially if it's a common phrase, a sentence, a quotation or any saying. Never ever store large amounts of bitcoins in a brainwallet because they are more prone to hacking compared to a traditional bitcoin wallet.
15188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most beautiful block explorer ever ? on: July 21, 2015, 04:58:42 PM
Those cute animations, Pretty good animations and really lovely to see, though I don't think that the design matters if the actual use of the block explorer isn't met. I still prefer blocktrail over other block explorers out there because of its functionalities and its API. Blockchain.info is also a good candidate though they are having some problems every now and then.

But if design and creativity is the criteria, I'd say that block explorer is pretty neat. 10/10 on the animations.  Smiley
15189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What BIG company will be next after BACKPAGE???? to support FULLY BITCOIN! on: July 21, 2015, 04:52:09 PM
As a gamer, I would like to purchase my games using bitcoins because of its ease and speed. If Steam would integrate this kind of payment in their system, I'd definitely spend a ton of bitcoins in buying games and in-game items, especially in Dota 2, given that The International 5 is nearing.
15190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] Are you using BitWage to get any of your paycheck paid in bitcoin? on: July 21, 2015, 04:48:28 PM
If I got a job, I'd be willing to accept my salary in bitcoins, though I don't think how BitWage is still necessary when I can just request my employer to just send it to me directly.
15191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is wealth boring? on: July 21, 2015, 04:46:11 PM
Honestly, I find being wealthy exciting (at least for me) because I can do all the things that I never did when I don't have the funds to support those. Also, given that I have the money to spend on different things, I would probably research on different things like finding a feasible energy sources apart from burning fossil fuels and whatnot--basically research on things that would help this planet and Mankind to exist for a longer period of time.
15192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Jet for Big Game Commercial - Vote Now on: July 21, 2015, 04:39:18 PM
come on guys, take 5 sec to support that! no registration required.

Liar! Only took me 3 secs to vote. Tongue Also shared this on my Facebook account to see whether I can get some support for it too. Btw, how many times can I vote for this one?
15193  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: July 21, 2015, 10:34:25 AM
I never quite understood threads such as this bragging about how many BTC you have.

I would change it to something like "How did you get your first bitcoin".  Then it is a interesting story not just yea I have X BTC.

I think people find it reassuring to know that the majority have modest amounts. The real swinging dicks are wise enough to keep their mouths shut.

laugh

yep the real "swinging dicks" would be chuckling at the discussion of putting 1 BTC in cold storage.  I hope one day it is worth that effort for just one bitclam

Agreed. I bet some of the responses here are just saying that 'no I don't have x amount' 'yes I have x amount of bitcoins,' but in reality they have loads of bitcoins in their stash. I wonder what's the purpose of knowing each other's balances?
15194  Economy / Economics / Re: Debit cards with a reasonable limit per year on: July 21, 2015, 10:09:39 AM
I was wondering if anyone knew a company or services which provides debit cards anonymously with a reasonable limit. For example, Bit-x provides debit cards, yet if ou want to use it anonymous you can only withdraw 250 dollars per year!! I'm looking for a service like Bit-x, only with a higher limit for anonymous users, anyone can point me in the right direction?

I'm not going to register, because then I can just use any service provider like Bitfinex or Bitonic, my motivation is that I wish to withdraw bitcoins anonymously.

Anyone know such a service provider?

Hmm in regards with Bit-x, I think they have some confirmation process on your identity for you to withdraw larger amounts. Most debit card providers do this to ensure their own safety so that in case a user did some foul move, they can at least contact the user and know their whereabouts. As for the anonymous user, idk how could that be achieved.
15195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TUTORIAL] How to Earn 1 Bitcoin in a Week on: July 21, 2015, 09:37:27 AM
This tutorial is a process of will, time and effort.  You need also charts out there tracking the highs and lows of Bitcoin vs Alt Coins against each other and against local currencies.

Making 0.005 bitcoins grow up to 1 btc in just a week is very, very improbable. If it's within 3 weeks or a month, then I'd say it is possible, but still a hard feat to achieve. If ever OP pull this off within a week, I'd say he's a very lucky dude. There are no definite strategies in trading altcoins afaik because the market is ever-changing.
15196  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: July 21, 2015, 09:12:42 AM
Worst? Trading bitcoins for a shitcoin during its pump phase. I was left holding the coin for weeks until the price went back to where it was before the pump. I suffered a freaking loss on that one, so I just stick to btc instead.
15197  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 21, 2015, 08:50:32 AM
If there is a time machine that is fully functional, I'd definitely invest on Google, Apple, Microsoft and bitcoin. But unfortunately, there isn't one available right now so I'll stick with the traditional method. I'll work day and night and keep some of it for my investments, diversify those investments and re-roll the profits until I see that I'm fine with what I have. Rinse and repeat. Of course it will be that long but hey! Most millionaires earned their millions by doing this thing. Smiley
15198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 within a month. on: July 21, 2015, 08:16:25 AM
this prediction is dying off, it will not happen, there is no more time, even the last 1200 peak took more than this time frame to be achieved

you have destroyed your history of good predictions with this

Maybe, but his analysis and predictions seemed to come out true most of the time. Crazy things happen around the market and you know that. But yeah, it must be very improbable at the current times, but I still believe that OP's predictions will come true (several threads and TA have I read that shares the similar or even greater outcome to OP's prediction, though those have nothing to do with the actual events on the market, still most of the people share the optimism OP has.)
15199  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Just need quick $25, can I exchange BTC for it to Paypal? on: July 21, 2015, 08:03:34 AM
Try the marketplace section and see whether you'll see a member who's willing to trade with you. Use escrow because you're a newbie, most people wouldn't trust newbies nowadays because there have been numerous number of newbies who scammed for a couple of bucks.
