Post your address friend and I will send you 5 CGB from the pre-mine promotion so you have some.
Regarding selling them, I have a personal stash that I have purchased for holding and trading when CGB hits Cryptsy. Hard to put a pre-exchange price but I will sell at 100 CGB = .3 BTC or 10 LTC.
Good luck!

yeah... bitjohn.... add cgb to crypsy..... elambert need some money.... with a 30% premined i think he is the only one who have some bullions.... so, bitjohn add cgb to crypsy now
Not sure where you get your information. Less than 1% was pre-mined for promotion, support and maintenance. This is all public knowledge. I believe CGB is the only crypto-currency that keeps a public ledger documenting how the pre-mine is being spent. You should check your facts before you make claims or accusations, otherwise you risk coming off as ignorant. For the record, I do not support any ddos activity targeted to force Cryptsy to add CGB! Please stop or suffer the consequences!!!

I will donate Cryptsy 50 CGB if I see the coin in till Monday! There is also a 100 CGB bounty for the first exchange so that would also apply!

Dear BigVern, Can you please add CGB to Cryptsy? What is CGB?- CGB is CryptogenicBullion
- CGB is a PoW/PoS hybrid
- CGB is scrypt
- CGB has a cap of 1 million bullion so it is extremely rare
- CGB has 60 second block time
- CGB starting subsidy is 10 CGB per block for the first 50k blocks - 500,000 CGB
- CGB subsidy halves after every 50k blocks for eternity
- CGB has had ~ 30k blocks mined in its first ~ 3 weeks in existence (~300,000 CGB)
- CGB has a linear difficulty retarget every 2 blocks
- CGB has targeted Cryptsy as the exchange of choice because that is where the CGB team trades, chats and lives
Where can I learn more about CGB?Link to official launch:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=245086.0Link to reloaded launch - announcement of enhancements and new developer:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255561.0Thank you in advance for your consideration! ~ Team CGB

Mining has been steadily increasing. The difficulty peaks higher each day and holds for about 12 hours and then bottoms out (also higher each day) for the other 12 hours. Interest is growing! Just over 17k blocks until the subsidy halves to 5 CGB per block! I have had a lot of trouble finding sellers on the market. Everyone is holding because they see it is a matter of when, not if this will hit Cryptsy! Keep mining!!!
Also, a reminder, I have donated 100 CGB to the lotto drawing this Sunday (see OP).

5puoxxMb6ApiFSNGieTJP8E669B8VWdSWp Ooh another coin that thinks it can force itself to be rare! Its just going to waste electricity it seems, IMO Not force itself. It was designed to be rare from the inception of the concept. Regarding your labeling CGB as a waste of electricity, I suppose that is a judgement call that each individual should be free to determine - whether they mine CGB, BTC or any other currency for that matter. I think you may find yourself to be more of an outlier than the norm in this group if you find crypto-currencies to be a waste of electricity. Thank you for your contribution though.

The problem is 80 percent of the coins will be mined within 3 months, I doubt the price will keep up as the reward diminishes very quickly for the miners.
I appreciate your opinion, however, I disagree. I am confident that the subsidy halving repeatedly each time half the remaining bullion are mined to be the perfect algorithm for a currency targeted towards the long term investor - the goal from the start. Half the cap will be mined in the first couple of months, 500k bullion, to spark trading and interest. Then the subsidy halves for the next 50k blocks (another couple of months) reducing the influx of CGB to the market causing scarcity to begin to kick in and the price to start to climb. The price increase at this point is what keeps the miners interested. After a couple of more months, another 50k blocks (125k CGB) will be mined, creating another rise in price, increased scarcity and encouraged hoarding. This steady growth in value every couple of months in conjunction with the shrinking subsidy delta, will keep the price growing and miners mining. Throw in the cap of 1 million and the interest of the long term investors, and you have the perfect currency for locking away your crypto investment for the long haul.

Yes, Cryptsy keeps a list of potential candidates to be added. From my understanding, this list is compiled by BitJohn and he does the research. Then Vern makes the decision which ones get added and when they get added. CGB has been on the list for sometime now, pretty much all of July. Hopefully we will see it added soon! Keep mining!!!

I think the issue with CGB to cryptsy is that the invest class cryptos are thinly traded. As such, they really don't make that much money for the exchange. I think that CGB is the best of the bunch, but they trade at a high price point. truth is that many people on the exchange would rather have .75 of a billion IFC over 100 or less CGB. that means that IFC will necessarily be more of a pull early on than CGB. Your profile states that CGB is to be locked away frozen for investment purposes. This is exactly to the ire of what cryptsy wants. That being said, they are the exchange in alt coins and they want to remain that way and the requires services, which is why CGB will be added. When, that is up in the air, but I would imagine it will be in the next two weeks. Cryptsy ultimately has a lot on their plate, so adding currencies is probably not at the top of the list during the week. they have 10% a day user growth and they have to monitor the system to make sure that the load is not to great for expected traffic. in addition there is the USD direct issue, which will be a huge boon for their business, but that has so much along with it. I think that new batch of currencies will be added this weekend. that seems to be the pattern based on the limited data we have Cryptsy, after all, is only 3 weeks out of beta. I would think within two weeks, possible Friday Saturday or Sunday for an add. Happy hashing all! Excellent points my friend, thank you for the insight/contribution. I can see the point clearly that you make regarding the trading volume with the currencies designed for holding, however, I would point out to Cryptsy and others that in the 3 weeks of existence for CGB, 300k have been mined. Due to this, I feel the volume is there and trading would be plentiful. At least until the subsidy starts halving, at which point price should skyrocket and hoarding will occur. Even when that occurs though, doesn't Cryptsy make a percentage off of each trade, meaning a trade of 1btc worth if Infinitecoin would equal the same profit for Cryptsy as a trade for 1btc worth of CGB? Interesting discussion nonetheless.

I really do not know what the deal is with CGB and Cryptsy Cryptsy is the only exchange that I have approached to add CGB because Cryptsy is my home and where I trade! I have been told for weeks that CGB is "on the list", then "high on the list", then to see numerous other currencies added ahead of it...? Just yesterday I received notice that CGB was "on the list". Downgrade from "high on the list" I have no idea... I know some of the CAP/BTG community does not like CGB because it is also a PoW/PoS clone. Are these people influencing Cryptsy to view CGB in a negative light? I hope not, but you never know. I know some at Cryptsy DO like CGB and can appreciate the differentiation of a 1 million coin cap with the subsidy halving after every 50k blocks. Ultimately, however, my understanding is that Vern makes the decision and I do not have a read on his view of CGB. All of my inquiries have been answered by BitJohn. Believe me when I say that I am pushing as much as I can for addition and hope it will be soon. My recommendation to supporters and those who want CGB added to Cryptsy is to: 1. Request CGB on the Cryptsy thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=246679.02. Request CGB to be added in the Cryptsy chat box: https://www.cryptsy.com3. Request CGB be added via twitter: @Cryptsy 4. Start and contribute to threads about CGB and CGB/Cryptsy on this forum 5. Change your avatars to CGB logo 6. Mine CGB 7. Create services for CGB if you have the skill - I will pay for contributions I think the only way to make this happen is by an unrelenting push from the CGB team and supporters applying unyielding pressure on the Cryptsy crew to add CGB!
With regard to getting CGB listed before too many are mined, I personally do not think this to be too much of an issue. I think the real value and attention to CGB will occur after the first 50k blocks are mined. At this point the subsidy will halve and the value will spike. Just my opinion. - CGB team
