Lately, I've been putting a lot of work to educate myself toward Bitcoin, going through ressources from hope.com / 10hoursofbitcoin.com / Essays / Well document articles...... im officially down the rabbit hole.
I have the feeling that i am starting to understand deeper what Bitcoin truly is, what it brings, how it changes everything, what hope it brings, and mostly, how HONNEST it BTC is.
I am more and more amazed by it, to the point that i've lost almost any interest toward any other crypto «currencies».
To put it in other word, i want to add more bitcoin to my portfolio but with current near ATH price, i am not sure how to proceed from here.
We all know buying at/near ATH is not the best move. On the other hand, people will suggest « DCA DCA - long term long term».
Yes I've been doing DCA with BTC. I've stopped doing so at 2 weeks ago, at 59k. Thought it was getting high to buy.

Just popped in to say that I am very happy with the recent changes to the BTC withdrawal fees with low priority close to $0.7 which is awesome considering the fact that it was close to $10 recently.
This change helped me realise the fact that Roobet does listen to their community and I hope they can get rid of the mandatory KYC too in the future.
Are they now covering the blockchain fees? Or it is just that the current Bitcoin transaction fees are low? Yes, it's another way to gamble your money since you are not sure if you are going to have profit after you purchase NFT but for me I think it's investment and not a gambling like placing bet. If they are promoting something then they are getting paid for doing that. That is how they make so much money. Those who follow them will blindly do whatever they ask. It is quite common now days that influencers are basically paid promotores.
There are a lot probably. But not all influencers are like that. They became one of the most important 'asset' of a project since they are almost always able to encourage (shill) the project to their followers. It becomes easier for the devs since there are also lots of "blind" people that follows these influencers that they will here and probably obey what these influencers are saying. One solution probably to avoid being a victim of this kind of fraud is just learn and don't follow this people when it comes financial things. |

KYC's are needed specifically when huge money is deposited in the wallet and needs confirmation of identity when cashing out payments or retrieving funds from the accounts and these is not done officially by every site as you said though
The bad part is that some casinos only enforce KYC once their player starts to request for a withdraw and not the other way around. That's true, and it's really unfair because if they are honest with their service, they should have required KYC from the very beginning. I read some of the cases in scam accusation board on some gamblers unable to withdraw their money as they are suspected of cheating, and as part of the requirement, they are forced to submit documents proving they are the person, I think the essence of anonymous betting is gone and they are used to cheat the bettors. As for me, you can buy now. Even on a small exchange rate difference, you can make good money.
Depends on how much will you buy and sell. Given that the exchange rate was very close, it will be hard to make good profit out of it. Unless all of your trades on that certain time are all profits. Meaning you all buy those coins low and sell them quite higher. For me this kind of trading is time consuming but I think it is worth it if you learned how to do it efficiently. Better hodling tho if we are talking about bitcoin. |
