1522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do altcoins sell for different prices? on: October 19, 2016, 08:51:41 AM
One word: speculation.

No altcoin has a real use today. You can bet on the future of some of them.

I agree and like this response.  It is pretty much pure speculation, betting on the potential of the given coin rather than it's current state.
1523  Economy / Goods / Re: [Pre-ANN] Qrypto | The All-in-one Bitcoin Card [Reservations Open] on: October 18, 2016, 07:21:10 PM
Nice project, I'm wondering are there any other associated fees for this card?  for example a monthly fee as we see with many other cards, I understand this is slightly different.
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is there a kind of Bank for bitcoins ?? on: October 17, 2016, 07:45:38 PM
There are no bitcoin banks as such, you will find wallet providers such as Coinbase, Circle and many others.  Coinbase has a long term storage called the Vault but being similar to a bank you won't find any service being offered.

You need to be your own bank and secure your bitcoins yourself, if you do use one of the providers you need to keep in mind that they own your coins as they control the keys, and there is always the risk that they may go offline, get hacked, or end up running away with your coins, the chances of this happening to the larger ones like Coinbase although slim it is still something you need to be aware of.

I have seen a few sites offering interest on bitcoins invested and showing huge ROI, these sites should be avoided if you want to keep your coins as they are mostly ponzi schemes.
1525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NetBet Becomes the UK's First Licensed Gambling Site To Accept Bitcoin on: October 17, 2016, 07:38:12 PM
Bet365 also accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment for a long time and bet365 is also a United Kingdom based gambling company so how can they claim to be the first licensed gambling site.It is good too see many sites accepting bitcoin as i dont want to use my credit card for gambling

I am pretty sure they do not accept bitcoin, I am a user of Bet365 and have not seen this option unless I am missing something, can you provide more information on where you see this in Bet365?
1526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Beyond the Void's ICO on: October 17, 2016, 11:34:38 AM
This looks pretty promising, JWL has been a success so far and this looks good also.  Will see how I stand when it launches, see if there are a few pennies I can put together.
1527  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: My Coinbase account is hacked !!!!!! on: October 17, 2016, 09:34:52 AM
Then I have for support and they reply that, "Now you can login"

can you show me where in their reply they said "Now you can login"?!!!

the reply is obvious enough. probably because you have not been using your account or possible used it with a new IP address than before, or any other similar suspicious activities they disabled your account (the first line) reply this message and answer the 3 questions and if it is really your own account it will be enabled again!
Yes you are right. I am trying to login into my account after two month.
Then this thing is happen.

Here you can see, they reply. Then I change my password as they describe. After that when I try to login to my account. Same problem occur again.

Looks like they are just trying to make sure you account is actually being used by you before they reactivate it, this is a good thing although it might be painful right now for you having to take these extra steps.

The message says to change your password and then respond to them, I would guess that once you change your password if you reply to them they can then check and confirm it was changed and then perhaps reactivate your account.

You could always use another service if you are unhappy with them, Circle for example are another similar exchange.

1528  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: blockchain based game , play with your luck on: October 14, 2016, 09:34:25 AM
This is poor, more than likely a scam especially with no history.  There is a similar site doing the same thing and seems to be legit so far as there are payments going out and you have a 1 in 16 chance of winning, your game just seems completely shady.

I have tried the above a few times with no success, not trying to hijack your thread but I would rather point people in a direction away from your obvious scam attempt.
1529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Integrate Bitcoin payment in Facebook on: October 13, 2016, 08:28:49 AM
That would be great, suppose the only way to do it right now is via a btc address, would be something pretty cool if it was done via a bot as I've seen elsewhere.
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Someone converted 0.0698 BTC to 1.1168 BTC on BitcoinBetting.website !!! on: October 12, 2016, 08:45:09 PM
This is a pretty cool idea, I have never tried these games, might give it a quick shot and see how it goes.
1531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the primary lessons you earn after you gamble? on: October 12, 2016, 08:37:07 AM
I think one of the main things learned after gambling is just how quickly you can lose your money.  Myself too many times I get trigger happy and end up losing my winnings thinking I might get lucky, instead I should really only put a % of winnings back in and at least come away with something.
1532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A month of bearish altcoin market? Why? on: October 07, 2016, 03:08:40 PM
Just one of those things, they'll turn green at some point.  Not a bad time to pick up your favorite coins for a cheap price right now.
1533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looks like Ethereum will be hard forked... again. on: October 07, 2016, 03:05:59 PM
This is starting to become a joke, they might get away with it again but anything further then it will really hurt them or maybe not, people seem to be okay with the previous one, myself I am dead against this path it just mocks the whole idea.
1534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: October 07, 2016, 08:04:17 AM
Early on when I first came into bitcoin I had a few XAI coins (Sapience) and they were doing quite well and then in total I had 1.7 BTC, me being new to the game just believed that it would continue to go up and up so I left it and then came back a day later and it was dumped hard.

i think this hope and perhaps a bit of greed can lead to silly mistakes in trading and also gambling.
1535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple Pay vs Bitcoins on: October 07, 2016, 06:56:51 AM
Apple pay and Android pay is available in my country at least, it is true that bitcoin payments take a bit of time but there are a couple of apps / coins that go around this.

Plutus is one I think and there are a couple of others, they allow you to use contactless paypoints and they will exchange the bitcoin to fiat behind the scenes so as far as the merchant is concerned you are paying using the local currency.

I have not tried any of these, I just came across them in the forum.
1536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how many sites can show the proof of ,how much btcs they have? on: October 07, 2016, 06:45:26 AM
All of them should be able to really, well the legit ones anyway.
Can I suggest you change the title as BTCS is or at least was an altcoin and might cause confusion.
1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth Behind New Altcoins on: October 06, 2016, 03:33:27 PM
True, but there are some if you can wade through all the rubbish that do have something to offer, but definitely nowadays if you have been around for a while you can tell a scam straight off.
1538  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUMP VS HILLARY Crypto Betting HAS OPENED!!! on: October 06, 2016, 10:33:59 AM
Probably a good idea to stick to the well known sites that are about and where you know you will be paid out if you win, this pop up shop/site is a bit dubious.
1539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best altcoin exchange? on: October 05, 2016, 07:36:49 AM
Personally I prefer Bittrex, Poloniex from time to time but I am used to the Bittrex interface and they have a good variety of alts, not too much that they end up like Yobit but a decent amount.
1540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin quantity go down? on: October 04, 2016, 04:32:49 PM
Very strange, I have only ever used Bleutrade for altcoins and had no idea this happens to bitcoin, usually it is simply the value of the coins that change, I suppose in a way it could be good if the value goes up but I wouldn't hang around to find out.

Safest thing is to remove your coins and put them onto another exchange as this sounds shady.

Depending on what you intend to do with your coins you have a good choice of exchanges, the Coinmarketcap link that was sent before will help you, if you click into bitcoin and then markets it will list the exchanges for you.

Bittrex and Poloniex are good choices if you wish to trade your bitcoin for other coins.
