All, below is the writers guide. Ken has been a huge help, with his writing experience and brainstorming ideas. Please provide any feedback and suggestions.

Summary
DCEBrief is not a news aggregator that merely reports dry facts, but instead provides an analysis of news and facts as it relates to digital currency, explaining why certain news and trends are important to the industry.

DCEBrief always looks at the positive aspects of a story and does not believe in negative media or attention as a means of gaining readership.

DCEBrief has no interest in attacking governments, banks, or others whose cooperation will be essential at some level if digital currency is to succeed. While it is perfectly acceptable to question those entity's policies with respect to digital currency, the tone of that criticism should be one of respectful disagreement wherever possible.

Every news story should be able to address one of several relevant issues:
How this topic positively impacts digital currency
How this topic promotes or otherwise furthers public acceptance of digital currency
How this topic promotes public awareness of digital currency
How this topic promotes usability of digital currency

Key Beliefs that DCEBrief articles should not go against:
DCEBrief is respectful of all individuals and groups, their ideas, and projects.
Digital currency will play an important role in our future and is a benefit to mankind.
Blockchain is a revolutionary technology that will forever change the way data is stored.
Digital currency is a new paradigm, it requires a new perspective that is not strictly adhering to existing social economic systems and theories.
Healthy regulation designed to protect consumers with minimal impact on technology and innovation is ideal.

Common misnomers to avoid:
Digital currency is not a good vehicle for nor does it promote criminal activity, such as money laundering and illegal purchases, all digital currency transactions leave a trail that can be followed. It is used by criminals, just as any other currency, because it is not directly tied to a financial services account.
Digital currency transactions do not identify individuals on the blockchain. "Accounts at a money service business or financial institution can certainly be linked to identity, but the individual coins (or coin subunits) themselves cannot be."
Digital currency theft has not been the result of an inherent technology flaw. The thefts or hacks have been the result of improper management of the currency.

Keywords to use in articles:
Digital currency
Bitcoin
Cryptocurrency

I think you've done a wonderful job with that overview. It will be very useful for ensuring that we all stay within the bounds of DCEBrief's editorial vision. Take a bow!

Here it is ^ to a well deserved team! Smiley We can not tell others what to do but we can certainly show them DCEBrief's editorial vision with a different twist.

I received many emails from around the world every day. Here is one I love to share with you and welcome your feed back. You might remember that the only CRISP program we have not launched is "CRISP For Charity". It has been delayed for strategic reason. We wanted to wait for the most opportune time, like almost everything else we do. Positioning is the key word to our over-all strategy, hence our highly scalable building blocks that are strategically linked. This could be another classic case of the DNotes' difference. If it works out, DNotes can be one of the key drivers for their success. Can you imagine the possibilities? Love to have your inputs.

As of today, we have a full length film being edited for public distribution. Join us in anticipation of the release soon to come.

The Foreign Big Brothers is a project that aims to bridge the gap in education around the world, starting in rural China. We are five brothers from 5 countries spanning four continents around the world, united by our common desire to make a resonating impact for a better world.

We have decided to pursue the opportunity of creating a TV show in China. The first step in our goal to bridge the gap in education for Children around the world has been to find a school in rural China, go to them to discuss their needs, gather needed resources, and to return to the school for a transformation. The weekend of April 24-27, 2015 marks the first successfully completed transformation at Dalishan Primary school, located in the mountains around Longyou, Zhejiang Province, China. This transformation is a good step for the school, the volunteers, and shows a bright future for all the children who have yet to be reached.

In order to accomplish this change we have met with officials from the Zhejiang Government, University, and TV channels;visited the local school; and received permission to make the change. We utilized the logistics systems available, Taobao, to gather resources, and hired the help of some locals to assist our team of volunteers with supplies and expertise at the distant school.

Thank you for all the kind support from the volunteers, the locals, and all who support us by word or deed. May you have a great day and give a little brightness to the world.

Yes, this is perfect and just in time for 2016. I believe the launching of the CRISP for Charity could be a tremendous turning point for DNotes. If China sees what DNotes is accomplishing, I believe the market will wake and actually notice what is going on in the cryto world, especially with DNotes. As you put so perfectly it will be a key driver for their success, but it will definitely be a DNotes success story as well!

Marc, you are spot on. 2016 is looking to be a fantastic year for DNotes. If all goes well there will be many international projects DNotes will be participating in. China will be a significant part of it.

The vast majority of people, even within our industry, don't quite understanding that DNotes is much more than a digital currency. It is a trusted global digital currency with its own ecosystem, designed to be self sufficient, and self sustaining. To understand the true value of DNotes, one must understand that it is a completely integrated system built with a business model that would support massive global expansion and the expect appreciation of its currency value. It is not merely hoping for mass acceptance of DNotes one day, but built into its long term strategic plan for mass acceptance one day.

No digital currency can assume that it has reached a level of mass acceptance without the participation of China or without the full participation of women. Consequently, CryptoMoms is a vital and an integral part of our system.

Every time I hear about a charity like this, I always think about how DNotes could benefit them.  I love these types of charities that operate at a grass roots level so to say, as opposed to the ones with 80 - 90% administration costs, with little left over to help their cause.  Just imagine what they could do with donations of DNotes that are held in a timed send contract, or set for release in 5 years like the CRISP for Retirement.  Even a small donation of $5 or $10 worth of DNotes now (or when CRISP for Charity launches), could be worth a significant amount in a few years.

Good luck to Foreign Big Brothers and I hope we can be a big help to you with our CRISP For Charity when it launches! Smiley

Thanks, Chase. There are hundreds of "grass roots" charity organizations. This one stands out because they are also education oriented, involving children of early stages in their education. I am personally very committed to help alleviate global poverty at the grass roots level starting with children at early ages. This is one among many things, that motivate me to put in long hours everyday.

The p2p nature of crypto means getting DNotes into the hands of young students in rural Chinese provinces should be possible with but 1 computer with internet access in each locale, or even smart phone with nearby satellite connections. These charitable donations could be held long-term until maturity where they could really make a meaningful impact on students' lives. I can see another alternative where CRISP for charity accounts can be made on behalf of rural Chinese children who do not have access to internet. These accounts could be managed by a partner charity group who could release the funds when the DNotes are either spendable locally in China, or could be sold in stages on the open market for resources that would make massive changes to their quality of life in their villages. All we would need would be the names of children, and somebody prepared to create the accounts and make the deposits. Each name for a child at each village could be given a rather generic name [Name][Location][Birthyear] at an auto-generated e-mail address with 1 - 10 DNotes automatically deposited via a script that requires only the children's names.

Form with Name, Village, Birthyear and associated charity [World Vision / Foreign Brothers etc]

Example:

TeeGeeWellington1988@ForeignBrothers-DNotesVault.com
DYNAChicago1946@Oxfam-DNotesVault.com

These could be managed by the partner charities who would probably also quite like the exposure having their charity name associated with these future children's successes. The e-mail that helps identify different students with similar names and birth years will also act as an advertisement. From there it's just leaderboards (grouped by charity) etc. We could try and get a program running where DNotes community / company contributes 50 cents for every dollar that the charities give us to invest in crypto on behalf of students in the future up to a set maximum. It would make their money go even further.

Excellent, suggestions, TeeGee. There are a lot of things we can do. I like to wait for more feed back before I share my vision.

Imagine a world with hundreds of national currencies, as they are; supplemented by thousands of digital currencies and tens of thousands of complimentary community currencies. This is what PayServices is about. It is a bridge between the new and the old world where anything of value can be traded and used as a medium of exchange.

Hyper-connectivity, by way of our smart phones, with geolocation apps, enables your neighbors to easily pinpoint your offer to sell or trade items they are interested to acquire. This is your garage sale of the future. Digital currency or any digital asset can be used for the transaction just as easily with your neighbor or someone else a world apart. That is the power of the ingenious distributed public ledger consensus system of the Blockchain technology everyone is talking about.

This is a Big Bold project. DNotes is proud to be a member of PayServices large family of currencies. Our mission is to be the trusted global digital currency for everyone worldwide to participate.

Congratulations, Mr. Danenberg. Great job.

Resilient cities can use local complementary community currencies to
improve the lives of their inhabitants. Here's how:

Oct 11, 2015

Written by:
Willy Danenberg
Founder, PayServices

Cities that are resilient combine the best of both worlds: Local production of food, goods and services and their local consumption as well as the creation of sufficient added value in goods and services to exchange it for goods and services not produced locally using usually FIAT (conventional) currencies.
In fact, any value exchange locally or not can be done either directly as a barter deal i.e. one product exchanged for a service without going to the additional expense and complication of exchanging not only the goods and services but also exchanging currency. Currencies are also used when the information and know how of goods and services availability for an exchange is not perfect and also to store the value for an exchange to be done later.

Today technology improves the timing, opportunities and availability of the information and permits a much more perfect market thus reducing losses in transport time and costs or reduced freshness of perishable goods in any market.

More perfect markets reduce the impact on the environment and is easier on the budget due to reduced costs for getting what is needed from the seller to the buyer or from any participating party to the other along the supply chain.

Currencies in general can have a huge impact on society and people's life if they are created, managed and used as a medium to fulfill unmet needs with available unused capacity. If the need is social, economical, ecological, educational, health, food related, etc. it is often also designated as an Impact Investing Currency.  A currency used in transactions and businesses that provide at the same time a good financial Return On Investment (ROI) and at the same time a return for the common good (RCG).
Today, it is a growing trend. In France for example it is estimated that around 2-4 new currencies are created every week. All over the world, cities, communities and tribes are creating new activities and Impact Investing foundations and funds are financing such projects.

This trend is not only for a consumer to consumer type of transactions but can also be profitable for businesses doing business with other businesses. A good example is the currency called CLIX which is now launched in Tucson Arizona using PayServices Inc. MEOS system.

Also, with the growing importance of such projects, a growing trend is that municipalities designate now departments and name CSO's Chief Sustainability Officers to work and develop such projects.
Foundations such as the Rockefeller Foundation fund such cities and support globally the Resilient Cities approach. The CGI - Clinton Global Initiative is also a very good example of such high profile activities and support it now gets around the world.

By comparing a local citizen that wants to buy a book. That citizen can buy the book on the Internet and get it delivered to his home. The money he pays with his credit card will leave his community and will become the money of the corporation to be spent somewhere else. If however he buys a book at the local book store, the owner's bank account will benefit and the owner, being also a neighbor will use the money from that sale locally to buy bread from the local bakery, who may buy its flour from the local farmer who in return will buy bread from the baker using the flour he provided.  Only local currencies especially digital ones, can make sure that the money in circulation can only be used locally and will not leave the community and at the same time be scaleable and easily replicable benefiting from experience gathered elsewhere and also in turn benefiting other communities.

In the same way, let's say that the municipality of Miami wants to provide incentives to foreign companies to come and invest in Miami. If they provide such incentive in USD, the company receiving such an incentive may spend the money in Atlanta Georgia. However, if the money can only be spent in businesses in Miami, then for each unit of currency it will benefit probably much more than the one unit of currency in question since it will circulate from one business to another through the local Miami businesses. Complementary Community Currency tends to exchange more hands locally than Conventional Currency.

Many efforts are in place today but many are small in scale and may only represent a social experiment and are difficult to scale up. The reason is that for many it is part of a learning process and are a social experiment.

Blockchain technology is also being tested as the medium for making public all transactions and adds another technological layer and hurdle for a successful launch. It is not certain, although there is a lot of hype around Bitcoins and similar currencies that this technology is to be used locally efficiently.
The smartphone revolution, also has impacted this since now not only you may want paper currency, but also tools that you can use with your smartphone, your web browser and using a Point Of Sale Equipment. Also, exchanging such currencies to other currencies is in demand.

The only available full set of easily implementable and scaleable technologies that can provide such solutions is the PayServices Inc. MEOS - Multi Exchange Operating System which is already used internationally by a growing Impact Investing, local communities, Resilient Cities, municipalities and tribes providing for a complete toolset scaleable turn key solution. You describe your needs, PayServices.com provides the currency design and tools that will provide the technology to enable for an easy and real time exchange, management and benefit for the local community and the common good.

A new central reserve currency for a community can be created and implemented not in months or years but within minutes or just a few hours and your community and its users is ready to roll.

This is an incredible giant leap for Resilient Communities and is currently also available in 23 languages. More languages can be added as needed. Costs are very low and some of the costs can also be paid in your new local newly created currency. Isn't it great?

The images on DCEBrief are a huge part of the design of the site, and more important than you may have thought. Just like the social media contest I have been delaying because I haven't come up with a good social media graphical flyer as of yet. Images are part of the marketing, they grab the users attention and interest.

I had a couple ideas for the weekly recap images and would like your opinions:

1) We can do an image for each individual mini article, and make a collage out of it.

2) Come up with the best visual representation of the category, and reuse it every week.

Each have advantages, option 1 is a larger time investment but will be more relevant to the individual topics as well as something new to look at each time that may draw their attention better. Option 2 is more relevant to the category, and when they see the image the will immediately know what it is for. The third option is a new category image each week, but that will be impossible to find good ones each time, si I've ruled it out.

For reference, I started with option 2, the digital currency one the best one so far in my opinion, but the other two may need improvement.

Digital Currency

Bitcoin

Blockchain

The first one is a destined award winner. The other two are very good as well.

A nice find, and a very good summation of the Press Release. Nice to see.

You evidently use your internet search time in a much more efficient manner than I do... my haul today has consisted of two pictures of dogs playing poker, and a poorly written article about the forgotten health benefits of tator tot casserole. But at least they've given me an idea for tomorrow's dinner.

No, not the dogs... the other thing.

Thanks, for the good laugh. I hope someone from the White House is not reading this post.

Trying out a new article format on DCEBrief and would like to hear everyone's comments. The idea is to cover the most important news of the week. I think it would be a good way to cover more important topics, while we ramp up DCEBrief.

Bitcoin Weekly Recap 10-9-2015

http://dcebrief.com/bitcoin-weekly-recap-10-9-2015/

We will also have one for blockchain and digital currency as a whole.

I really like that format. It's great to have a weekly roundup for people that don't want to check each day to see who has said what about crypto in the last week. I like that the articles for the most part are 'informational' rather than just news, people walk away having learned something. This is sometimes combined with news pieces, so it isn't just straight reporting as such.

Fantastic! How about that - it is of great value to me personally too, because I no longer have the time to read every industry article. This is perfect, and as always, Ken did an outstanding job. Keep that up Ken and it will be my must visit site for Executive Briefing!!!

Probably a good thing that we played it straight then. So much for my idea of doing a Daily Show version of the news...

Probably, though a daily show version would have been fun.

We won't likely has as many items for the blockchain and digital currency versions, but I'm sure they should be great as well.

Not having much luck creating the social media flyer design as of yet. Soon as I do, I will be ready to launch the campaign.

It makes sense to let publications in our industry, that are better positioned, to report on daily news, though I wished that some of the reporting is more positive, accurate and unbiased. Our team of writers at DCEBrief has already been doing a super job.

At times we may want to focus on a specific issue or area, and write a series of articles on that. A good one to start off could be education and students with mention of the importance of savings for education and the significant of CRISP For Students, as well as preparing students for our industry growing demand and opportunities for high paying jobs.

Australian Bitcoin-Exchange Closures

‘A whole bunch of stuff is slightly untrue in really important ways.’
Ian Ridgwell

“Two pioneering Australian fintech companies were off and running on Wednesday under the pleased eye of trumpeter of innovation and Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull.”
 http://www.afr.com/technology/malcolm-turnbull-on-hand-as-new-ipo-investment-app-launches-20151007-gk3ci5

Storm in a teacup . . . almost.

The Reuters article is not very accurate. The attack is real, but exchanges aren’t being closed so much as having to scramble for every fewer accommodating banks. There’s very very little discussion or awareness of what’s going on.

The overall situation remains one of agitation, but far from wholly negative – for example, three of the banks involved in the closures are trialing cryptos, and check the article referenced above.

Interestingly, campers, what Ian and I found ourselves eager to say is:

Australians are lost and exhausted deep in a postmodern maze of corporate gobbledee talk and leave-a-message-after-the-beep and debt-fueled-affluence time-poverty.

What this will ultimately mean for cryptos we don’t know, but we agree that great efforts must be made to ease the way for The 99%.

Mark

Thanks, for the post, Mark. Very informative. DNotes has a clear vision right from the "get-go" that we must build a trusted brand, if the currency were to have sustainable value. Time is on our side, as long as we stay the course; demonstrating absolute integrity and trustworthiness. We must plan our destiny and govern our destiny. Only with that can we remain with a high level of confidence that DNotes will one day be the trusted global digital currency for everyone worldwide.

DNotes is the only digital currency with its own ecosystem being built block by block and 100% funded by some of its stakeholders. This is no small undertaking in terms of cost or efforts, but, without a doubt, the right thing to do for the best interest of all our stakeholders and our industry.

We recognize that our world is not perfect and will never be. There will always be the inherent tendency to protect one's own self-interest before others; occasionally at the cost of others. Banks and credit/debit card companies are the incumbents that will be most seriously disrupted by Bitcoin and other digital currencies like DNotes.

They are now reacting, out of fears, and pushing back. Over the long term, that will hurt them more than help them. I am glad that you confirm the fact that, "The attack is real, but exchanges aren’t being closed so much as having to scramble for every fewer accommodating banks."

We believe that there will always be some "smart banks", just like, there will always be some "good guys." Those could be our best friends and we are on a mission to find them. If all failed, we will be our own bank. We govern our own destiny; hence all that extra efforts and costs to ensure that we are building a complete system that can collaborate or be self-sustaining by itself.

As fast as I can type:

Australia's crypto scene was shockingly weak before the banks' attack began. Many sources -- gotta note Coindesk -- have repeatedly published articles with unsoundly rosy conclusions.

Australia makes a fine testing-ground for this model, a collusion of bankers (vested interests) against the generally positive position of the . . . whatchamacallit . . . actual regulatory bodies.

IMZ has taken plenty of flack over time for our hillbilly commitment to a cryptocurrency dynamic that consciously keeps one foot firmly in the P2P arena. We are not disrespectful of communities like Dnotes', which are compliance-committed; but we do see a need to cover all bases.

We are sleeping on mattresses by our keyboards, trying yet again to contact active Oz krypto geeks, to get up-to-date info.

And Cryptsy, eh!!??

Mark, we have great respect for what you (edit: and your team) are doing as well. It is a different approach and we should face digital currency acceptance on all fronts.

Mark, you and your team have our full support.

I hope Australia's setback is temporary.

To quote the crew of the Galactica, "So say we all."

Welcome to DNotes, KC. We can use all the support to make a difference.

I appreciate the welcome. I hope you'll feel free to call me "Ken."  Wink

Yeah, that "Ken" ... still swamped and catching up after a week of unavoidable distractions, but wanted to stop by and say "hello" to everyone.

Thanks Ken!

Ken is a writer for DCEBrief, a supporter of what DNotes is doing, and has been a huge help in many our latest projects including the latest press release. We really appreciate everything Ken is doing.

Hey welcome Ken, love the "How I learned to stop worrying and love digital money" article. Forwarded that on to a couple friends who didn't care much about cryptocurrency, and some of them now have brought it up a few times when we were talking. Wink

Thanks, Kanus. I wish I could take sole credit for it, but I have to give Joe his rightful due. It was he who provided the topic idea, after all. And, of course, Chris deserves praise for adding the first four words to the title. The final title was much more enticing than my original, but that is no surprise. Chris' titles are always attention-grabbers. The entire team at dcebrief has been unbelievably helpful...

It is heartening to hear that the piece has been of some small use, so thanks for that.

Good morning, Ken. We are very proud and appreciative to have you, Chris, Tim, Thomas, and other very talented writers on our team. Consistent with our philosophy, we want to see greatness across the board. You, Joe and our team of writers made it seemed easy for us. I know that you all have put in a great deal of hard work behind the curtains, including our very talented silent editors. Thank you all. This is just the beginning of many great things to come.

We have taken upon ourselves the role of building a completely integrated system as a model for the best of our industry. This is being done block by block. They are all strategically linked and highly scalable; any and all can to be geared up rapidly to reach global scale. That is the power of the system approach we incorporated in our business model. This can remain as a lean mean machine, a power tractor, or the moon rocket. It is just waiting for the fuel and the mission to accomplish. It is still months away, but we are already positioning 2016 to be a great year. In case you missed it, read our last press release very carefully.

To quote the crew of the Galactica, "So say we all."

'Twas a good show (watched all 73 episodes in 5 days... yup, I didn't have a lot on during the uni holidays of 2010).

The Galactica was the last surviving human battle-ready ship after the Cylon attack on Earth. Ironically, the humans were wiped out due to a backdoor from an 'internet of things' - a blockchain could have solved this!.

Now, KC, (welcome by the way) Australia are in a better position than those on the Galactica. Australians are in the middle of their own battle for Crypto survival, the Cylons in this case are the banking institutions and their pocketed bureaucrats.

You could also arguably say that our crypto-sphere is a algorithmic improvement (Cylons) that humans are trying to destroy before it becomes too powerful. It all depends on which point in the series timeline you want to compare our situation to.

Either way, it all worked out for both cylons and humans in the show, so clearly cooperation is key - our war will just look a little different; rather a game of chess. Our game of chess is really interesting; it is one between two players (crypto community and bankers) and a referee (the regulators). I'm sure most people here have played chess before, but this one is quite different. Rather than the traditionally accepted rules understood and agreed to by both players, the referee will change the rules depending on which of the two players can pay them the most money. Suddenly, one players King can move 2 spaces instead of 1, the Bishop can move like a Queen can, and the Queen can burrow under the board and pop up on any square on the board of the same colour.

I don't think anybody is going to enjoy a game of chess like that, but appropriate foresight has yielded some "Trump" cards of our own (No, not that Trump - but he does fancy himself as winner). Websites like DCEBrief.com have been made to educate executives, philanthropists, and regulators on what the ramifications of crypto may be, and to encourage the general populace to use crypto-currency as their preferred choice of monetary exchange in the future. This battle is one of information, and websites like DCEBrief make sure the correct information is out there. Just winning information wars isn't enough though, service delivery must also be superior to that of present capabilities, and people need an infrastructure that is worthwhile enough, or offers them something they aren't getting from their state money. DNotes already has a family of CRISPS investment plans that take advantage of DNotes' long-term price trajectory that cater for every demographic, and what's better is none of the value of anybody's savings in those plans is lost to inflation from artificially created new money.

Those are but a couple of examples.

"So say we all."

Very well said, TeeGee. "So say we all."

Just wondering --- would it help if we can get a "King" to be on side? We are not counting on it. That might explains why our community has been working like slaves. We got a lot done, though. Any volunteers? We can use a lot more help.

From CryptoMoms Forum:

Quote from: Kelly on Today at 08:56:20 AM

It will take me about a week to get trhough all of this but I will. Killer thread!

Quote From Shepherd Today:

Kelly, if you have the interest, it is well worth your time. Digital currency is not complicated. It is just digital money - the future of money and it is already here. Like money it has value and can be used as a medium of exchange for things of value. It is being traded 24/7 for other digital currencies and fiat currencies.

What makes it challenging is the technology the underpins the digital currency. But that is what will make digital currency, like DNotes, far superior to fiat currency one day.

To be able to harness the full potential and capabilities of the future of money - DNotes, we have been doing all the extra - going many extra miles to create our own ecosystem like CryptoMoms, our family of CRISPs, DNotesVault, DCEBrief and more, so that no one, interested to join this technology revolution, is left behind.

We are building the trusted global digital currency for everyone worldwide to participate. This is a generational opportunity that a negligible amount of regular savings could be of significance one day. We are mindful that majority of the population are in constant financial struggle, unable to save any meaningful amount and, consequently, ended saving nothing. Our family of CRISPs were specifically created to provide the savings opportunity that could make a difference even for the smallest amounts saved on a regular bases. Be sure to check out our family of CRISP for children, students, employees, business owners and others. There is a self-directed savings program for everyone.

Excellent! Hard to believe DCEBrief is just over a month old and doing fantastic.

Quote From DNotes:

Same here Marc, it has only been a month and it is already taking off. We have been very fortunate to have found so many talented people and help from our community.

This press release, and next one to come, are the big ones and should provide some insight into where we are heading.

DNotes has been all about foundation building. Even I am amazed how much our team has accomplished in a very short period of time. Yet, we are significantly more than just DNotes the currency. We have been building a whole ecosystem. It was cool for me to do a Google search this morning and saw the the following result:

We are building a complete system; a lean, mean machine as opposed to just a couple of components. That is why we are so certain that we will get to our ultimate destination - the trusted global digital currency for everyone.

WOW! That's all I can say... Excellent!

"WOW" is probably the best choice of words. We do not just dream big. We have been demonstrating that big tasks can be accomplished by common people like us because we appreciate the little that we are privileged to have and make it go far. By doing so, we are mindful of the billions of people who have been struggling for better economic equality, many of them much less fortunate than we are. May be one day, we can change the mind of just one big bank, a state or a nation to share what we passionately believe is a much more noble deed for the better good of mankind.

Guess the digital currencies are now in a middle of a race. this is a race toward being independent and un-tied to the Bitcoin, before the Bitcoin might slide down the hill.  In one hand Bitcoin is in a bad shape, and on the other hand non of the DC or non of a group of DC may play the market on it's own if Bitcoin is gone even gets badly weak. Now, what would happend if goverments around the globe would decide to copy the Australian decition to limit up to death the Bitcoin: A heavy efforts of us and many other coins will fade out and gone. This can be so sad. My opinion: We must make a move to face this danger. My suggestion: Let us gather 200 leading coins in a special meeting in New York this winter, and create together the DC and the NEW economy leadership. This move might take the DC industry out of being the satellites of the Bitcoin toward an independent life. DNOTES leads the industry with so many innovative initiatives, DNOTES can lead toward this new association as well. New York, Winter 2016

Bitcoin gets very bad media all over the world. the image of this coin is going down the mountain and connected more and more with negative news. further, even if part of these news items are not correct, there isn't any focusing and strong team behind this coin to prevent it's falling down the mountain. one of the evidence for this amazing deteriorating is the rate of Bitcoin which decreased 80% on the last 2 years (1150 USD to 230 USD). the problem is that all other coins are connected to the Bitcoin as it's satellites. yet there aren't any independent strong coins which can carving a new road for the Digital Currencies path and maintain this amazing innovative tech and field. so in this moment, if the Bitcoin is fade out, it could jeopardize all other coins. hope DNOTES steps can make it an independent coin with the very needed image and shape of reliability and honesty.

This was in my inbox today and thought how silly. Of course bitcoin is struggling in Australia when the banks don't allow exchanges to do business. What business can accept it when they can't freely convert it back and forth to fiat at this stage? All this is doing is slowing down progress.

Maybe one of our Australian supporters can chime in, is it even possible to do business in digital currency there?

Bitcoin flounders in Australia as regulatory worries bite

* Australian banks closed accounts of 13 bitcoin exchanges

* Businesses wary of currency's potential crime links

* Australia estimated to hold 7 percent of bitcoin's global value

By Byron Kaye and Swati Pandey

SYDNEY, Oct 4 (Reuters) - Australian businesses are turning their backs on bitcoin, as signs grow that the cryptocurrency's mainstream appeal is fading.

Concerns about bitcoin's potential crime links mean many businesses have stopped accepting it, a trend accelerated by Australian banks' move last month to close the accounts of 13 of the country's 17 bitcoin exchanges.

The development is a blow to hopes of bitcoin fans that the currency can play a significant role in everyday business transactions in developed economies, with Australia once seen as one of its most promising markets. It is estimated to hold 7 percent of the currency's $3.5 billion global value, a sizeable figure in a country of just 24 million people.

"We've got a squeaky clean reputation, and that's actually worth a lot more to us than dipping into this," said James Snodgrass, principal of Sydney's Forsyth Real Estate, which ditched the currency in late 2014 after the firm was investigated by the federal tax office.

Forsyth had offered to collect home deposits and other realtor fees via bitcoin to cater to international buyers. The tax office probe found no wrongdoing but Forsyth was burned by the negative publicity and bailed out before ever taking a bitcoin payment.

Although most mainstream banks in Europe and the U.S. already refuse to keep bitcoin-affiliated accounts, developments in Australia represent the first coordinated shutdown of bitcoin exchanges by a country's banking system.

The move makes it much harder for people to convert regular currencies in to or out of bitcoin, threatening its long-term value.

"It really runs on people using bitcoin, and if nobody uses it then it's worthless," said University of Technology Sydney senior finance lecturer Adrian Lee.

Mati, I am afraid that you are quite correct, although I believe that Bitcoin is not going away anytime soon. I still feel very strongly that what is good for Bitcoin is good for our industry.

Unfortunately, Bitcoin lacks an individual or a group of individuals with sufficient invested interested to protect and promote Bitcoin. There is no leadership to help unite or lead our industry, making us a easy target for the disrupted parties to push back. We correctly pinpointed Bitcoin's weaknesses and industry threats before launching DNotes in February, 2014 allowing DNotes to be built from ground up with a new improved model. I am very confident that we will gain the leadership position one day. Our press release today will be very telling. Read it very carefully. What we need is a worldwide grass root movement to build a trusted global digital currency for everyone. Irrespective of how we feel about national fiat currencies, it is healthy for the people of the world to have a choice; an alternative not to have to put all their nest eggs in one basket.

Good morning, Mati. Thanks for your support and voice of concern. The Australian situation is troubling and will put doubts in the minds of some people. That unfortunately is the power of the media. Personally, I believe that the death of Bitcoin in Australia was stretched with a hidden agenda, to serve some self interest. Our industry should be concerned and begin to build a united front to promote and protect the best interest of the entire industry. DNotes will support that effort 100%. Unfortunately, we are not in the position to take the lead. We already have a very full plate.

DNotes started out with a very different strategy from day one. We highly value the strengths and integrity of a decentralized global digital currency for everyone worldwide, not as a replacement to national fiat currencies, but as an alternative in case nothing is too big to fail.

We passionately believe that it is a worthy cause to offer viable choices not just for the rich but also the less fortunate to have a choice in saving a small portion of their earnings for rainy days and their retirement. That being the case, we believe that it is imperative, if DNotes were to play a meaningful and worthy role, it must be built with trust and integrity. Additionally, there must be a group of individuals or an entity with sufficient invested interest to promote and protect the self interest of DNotes, the currency. Hence, we as a community, with the very generous support of our stakeholders, we have built DNotes as the global digital currency with a trusted brand. This trusted brand will be further re-enforced with a for profit global enterprise as outlined in our most recent press release:
