1521  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which kind of casino affiliate programs is better? on: August 13, 2016, 12:15:37 PM
About affiliate programs - I wouldn't rise my hopes high. I had affiliate link of great, reputable casino in my signature for a long time and I didn't earn a single penny from it.
To learn affiliate money you either need to have large base of gambling friends, be lucky with new people who follow your affiliate or spam it everywhere and expect that someone will click it.
1522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: England Championship Prediction Thread... on: August 13, 2016, 12:30:50 AM
In first macth newcastle lost from fulham
i think is this weekend batle hudesfield town in play home newcastle can easy win
It is never easy win. I studied English teams and on paper some of them had clear advantage over their opponents.
But in this league even clear victor could be taken out by an underdog. That is why you don't want to be on winner-losers here.
Use other betting options instead, handicaps, over, under, totals etc.
1523  Economy / Gambling / Re: SPORTSBET.IO - Place where you can bet with bitcoins on: August 12, 2016, 11:46:05 PM
If you have more than 4 tickets for the next Raffle then it is perfectly fine. It is the compensation from sportsbet to people who miss previous lottery.
Sporsbet's lottery winners are determined by hash of mined blocks and that certain block was mined earlier than expected causing some people to miss previous raffle.
1524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Matched betting (risk free) with bitcoins? on: August 12, 2016, 11:37:43 PM
If you want to know more about matched betting I recommend this site (among others): http://www.guidetomatchedbetting.co.uk/matched-betting-tips/making-a-living/
It is a nice comprehensive guide. But you won't find any info about bitcoin sites there. So I am not sure if serious profit could be earned from bitcoin powered sportsbooks.
1525  Other / Off-topic / Re: Make a Living Sports Betting? on: August 12, 2016, 01:22:53 PM
Some facts to consider:

1. You can bet on parlays with low amount of money and expect a huge win, but it is very unreliable strategy and more of a wishful thinking.
2. You can play with big money and bet only low odds matches - but it is not possible to win 100% bets, sooner or later you will gonna lose.
3. You can try to focus on arbitrage betting, the only system which guarantee that you will profit every time.
1526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: England Championship Prediction Thread... on: August 12, 2016, 12:37:15 PM
My previous predictions:

Fulham VS Newcastle United -  Fulham seems stronger here Win

Nottingham Forest VS Burton Albion - Equally paired teams, high draw potential Loss

Reading VS Preston North End - Preston N.E. seems better Loss

Derby County VS Brighton & Hove Albion - Definitely Derby County here N/A

Ipswich Town VS Barnsley - Ipswitch clearly in favour here Win

Huddersfield Town VS Brentford - Brendtford to win Loss

Birmingham City VS Cardiff City - have zero idea who will take this one N/A

Bristol City VS Wigan Athletic - same here, teams seems pretty much on par Loss

Rotherham United VS Wolverhampton Wanderers - another pretty even matchup Win

Blackburn Rovers VS Norwich City - I think easy win for Blackburn here Loss

Conclusion: English League is very hard to predict...
1527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: One month free TIPS on: August 12, 2016, 12:01:35 PM
I will follow and verify your betting history Op. If you prove yourself reliable source of tips then I will consider tipping you after a month.
By the way this is 'trial version' of your services, so how much your price will be after that free tips time is over?
1528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: August 12, 2016, 11:16:32 AM

Was planing to invest on a gambling site since they said its a gauranteed profit since the house can't lose but I'm still skeptical about it, i don't have much BTC so I have to make sure whether its going to be profitable for me.  What possibilities could happen to the gambling site i wanted to invest into and how am i going to lose my investment in such a manner?
No one said that it is a guaranteed profit. If you found gambling site with investment option which says so.
Then they are either lied to you or you failed to interpret or understand their investment description correctly.
I've seen people losing while investing in casino bankrolls, there is always a possibility of some lucky whale playing.

General golden rule. If you don't have spare money - you don't invest.
1529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: August 12, 2016, 02:32:49 AM
Simple rule, one absolute rule - if you want to gamble and be serious then set clear goals and limits. It is laughable when people ask when to stop.
Set X amount as your bankroll and play with it. When you lose all these money then it is time to stop and go home. Never break this limit.

If you do then know that you are being obsessed and greed and addition is taking over you.

1530  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH by July 2017 on: August 12, 2016, 01:19:30 AM
it will definitely be sooner than next July, for many many reasons but sure look here, kim dot com wants to make bitcoin explode presumably by working it into file sharing
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1576150.0
Yeah, I was really hyped about this project. But I guess he just said that BTC will reach $2000 mainly to self promote his idea and receive support and recognition of crypto community.
I thought about it an there is little chance that his Bitshare will spike up price that high, it is not that game breaking invention. But I think $1000 is perfectly possible.
1531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: August 12, 2016, 01:10:59 AM
I will state something highly unpopular but very true - if you want to profit from gambling then the best way is either don't gamble at all - therefore you won't lose, save you money.
Or the second way - be a casino owner - thus have the advantage over players, because games are designed in a way to favor the House.
1532  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betballer.com - Online Sportsbook & Casino on: August 12, 2016, 01:02:59 AM
I can tell from my experience with 'fully regulated' casinos, that they usually need hell of a information from you before you can use their services fully.
KYC procedures they aply usually require you to send them scan of your ID. They might not ask your about it right away, but when you win something and try to withdraw you money it most likely happen.
1533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Skill Work? on: August 12, 2016, 12:57:34 AM
Actually in every task it needs strategy and skills so as in gambling,it needs skills and strategy.Once you gamble right from the start you have your plans on how you can win and earned, not that just by putting up to something without even thinking.Don't just say it was just for fun ,once your into gambling to earned and win matters,so it takes skills.

I don't think gambling is skill-based. Just a few categories, like sports betting. Except them, it's all about luck.

I don't consider BlackJack being a skill-based game either, not even partially. There are still random cards, you never know what you're going to get.
Actually in Blackjack there is a strategy called 'counting cards' which can bring you real advantage over the casino.
In real world casinos if staff realize that you are counting cards they will most likely ask you to leave. So yes, they are afraid of it.

More info about it here: https://www.blackjackapprenticeship.com/resources/how-to-count-cards/

And it was concluded as a Loss. But according to Wikipedia German team was 2nd, so why did I lose this bet? Someone care to explain it to me?

1536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: where can i bet presidential election? on: August 10, 2016, 12:02:16 PM
where can i bet on the winner?

Try williamhill, they are pretty big.

yes, williamhill and bet365, which are top 2 casino in the world. Their odds are much higher than directbet, i recommend you guys bet on fiat casinos, not directbet.
The whole idea is to bet with bitcoin, not for FIAT. With old fashioned money you will have to use your credit card to deposit money.
And give casino your personal information, name, address etc. For some people that is totally unacceptable.
1537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 0.01 Btc – 1 Btc Bet Challenge on: August 10, 2016, 11:49:57 AM
Hey man, this is just for fun. You could always try again. I lost my 1st bet too. But last season I went 36 wins before losing.

I understand this challenge is mainly for entertainment purposes. But loosing your first bet is not different than losing your 36th.
With your rules in the case of 1 failed bet you will lose your entire bankroll. Good luck with this. I will watch your progress.
1538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how many gambling sites have been hacked? on: August 09, 2016, 11:23:05 AM
Yup, why Gambling sites will put more effort into security, Because they will invest a lot to create their site. And once they lost repute in the market, Then no player will choose that site. But in exchanges, if we compare to Gambling sites the security is very less. That is why Gambling site is better than exchanges.
What is totally strange for me that I don't hear about  obvious casino hacking incidents but we hear all the time about exchanges being targeted and funds stolen in a process.
So my question is - either hackers don't care about casinos or they really have amazing security...
1539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins true potential on: August 09, 2016, 11:13:05 AM
Bitcoin for now is like subsidiary currency. Fiats are dominating and it is only possible to view bitcoin price in direct comparison to them.
But bitcoin is much more that simple paper money. It can be used in many ways, for example to store important information in the blockchain.
This feature alone, if used correctly and with plan will made 1 BTC worth more than $10.000.
1540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: August 09, 2016, 10:58:04 AM
Hello, my name is Junko and I am addicted to gambling.

Unlike many however, I have embraced my gambling addiction - specifically my poker addiction. I love playing poker. I play poker everyday. When I'm not playing poker, I am watching videos and reading all things about poker. When I'm not playing, watching or reading/studying poker, I am thinking about poker. When I sleep, I dream of poker. I am obsessed and consumed with poker.

I enjoy playing the game of poker, studying it, working to improve my play, competing against others and of course, winning. But even when I lose, I enjoy the game just the same.

I exercise disciplined bankroll management and tilt control so my risk of ruin is essentially zero. My poker addiction has never caused me to miss work. My social life and relationships have not been affected by my poker addiction - at least not as far as I can tell. Nor have I ever not been able to meet any of my real life financial obligations/responsibilities.

If anything, my poker addiction has helped me better manage and keep track my finances as weird as that sounds.

Just thought I'd offer my perspective as an addicted gambler.

Degens unite!
General golden rule says - it is addiction when it causes more problems for your and your loved ones.
If you can perfectly balance your excessive poker mania and you are happy with your life and family.
You have no money trouble and can still manage your daily routine and responsibilities.
Then I gees it is not addiction in traditional sense of that word. Rare case I would say.
