Yeah, the match is completely with CSK. The team made the right decision to bowl after winning the toss. The start isn't bad, because the team managed to score 70+ runs in 10 overs losing just 2 wickets. Once after that players weren't able to stand wicket as well as unable to score. Only in the match against KKR it performed well. Even in that it was Brook and Markram that performed. A combined performance is a must and SRH needs improvement as the fight for the top position is already red-hot.
It is encouraging to see CSK succeeding and choosing wisely in the current competition. Despite some hiccups in the middle overs, they still managed to score a respectable total. To watch if their bowlers can defend it will be interesting. On the other side, today's games between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujrat Titans and Mumbai Indians vs. Punjab Kings are equally promising. Top teams are competing in both games, so cricket fans can expect some exciting encounters. Despite having an excellent squad, the Kolkata side did not perform well. However, Delhi and Hyderabad teams are in very poor condition. Both teams are very weak in both batting and bowling. In every match, we see poor performances from both the teams. They have very little chance of climbing the points table.
Even if it's true that the teams from Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Delhi have had difficulties in the IPL thus far it is crucial to keep in mind that the competition has a long way to go. As for the FA cup semi-final, it will be easy, it's just that they have to be prepared for the final because the opponents next door will be struggling, Brighton and Manchester United.
Although Arsenal has a lot on their plate I have faith that they will rise to the challenge. They are capable of overcoming any obstacle with diligence planning and optimism. But Avesh Khan and Stoinis bowled well. Also, Naveen ul Haq gave only 19 runs in 4 overs. Due to the controlled bowling of the bowlers, they won even with a low target of 155 runs. In the ongoing season each and every team is strong enough to chase 180+ runs. In such situation winning a match with such a target is really great thing as mentioned. It is all the batsmen of Rajasthan Royals and the bowlers of Lucknow Super Giants that put LSG win the match amidst the first wicket fall of RR at the 12 th over of the match.In the last five overs the RR managed to score 40 runs while the requirement is 50 runs. Unable to score 10rpo at the end overs with the batting line-up till the end is really bad. Of course, if we take a closer look every team in the IPL has a chance of hitting a target of 180 or more. In prior matches, some teams have even scored 200 or more points and chased it down. The match today is in my opinion, quite unfavourable for RR. The bowlers of the Lucknow Super Giants should be commended for their excellent work in limiting RR's scoring rate throughout the last five overs. In a high scoring match, it's difficult to defend a score, but LSG's bowlers did a fantastic job. By reflecting on their errors, RR can attempt to raise their run rate in the last overs. Overall, it was a thrilling match in which both teams showed off their skills and prowess. |

Big winner so far seems to be Newcastle United. I wonder what the mood is like in London at Arsenal, the proud league leaders in the EPL, but things could have been even better if they had just won both games with a 0-2 lead. Then the world would have looked very different and they would have had 4 points more in the current position, those are crucial points that they have now left behind. You can still become champions, but I think City is now the favorite to win the title. I think Arsenal are just not good enough to continue at this level until the end of the season, but maybe I'm wrong.
Even while it is possible that Arsenal dropped some significant opportunities in recent games it is vital to keep in mind that the season is lengthy and there is still time to make up for it. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will be motivated to reverse the results this time because Rajasthan Royals were undefeated in the previous two games. Rajasthan Royals matches appear to be in the lead thanks to their outstanding tournament performance thus far. Mumbai won this match because of Cameron Green's performance. He was able to play an excellent innings of 64 not out. And the important thing from this is that he bowled well in this match. He gave only 29 runs in 4 overs. Behrendorff also conceded 37 runs in 4 overs, but managed to pick up the crucial two wickets of Rahul Tripathi and Harry Brook. All in all, Mumbai's bowling was very organized in this match. However, their batsmen had a chance to perform a bit better.
It's wonderful to see how Mumbai won this game thanks to Cameron Green's outstanding effort with both bat and ball. His undefeated 64 run innings was thrilling to witness, and his tight 4 over bowling performance for just 29 runs was outstanding. Even though he gave up a few runs it was nice to see Behrendorff stepping up and getting important wickets. Mumbai's triumph was greatly aided by their overall disciplined bowling performance. Even though their batsmen should have performed better the team's determination to win with such an all around effort is praiseworthy. |
