1522  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2016, 09:49:06 PM
how we could motivate women to use Bitcoin because I tried several times to explain what it is and how to use Bitcoin ...was very difficult and have not really managed only once ..

Give her a btc and then show her what she can do/buy with it.. should do the trick.

Would be baller if you could include some footage with the song like anime or whatever  Grin though the song itself is awesome.. just needs some extra flavor seeing that people are visually focused as well
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it legal to earn and hold bitcoin ? on: July 03, 2016, 09:45:52 PM

1526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please teach me how to grow my bitcoin on: July 03, 2016, 09:41:30 PM
Hello guys please i would love to learn how to make a living through bitcoin... I don't have much but $200 to invest in this, a regular computer with Internet and a very good head for learning thanks I think anything from 2Btc weekly is perfect... I need a source of income badly

Btc is a form of money, the same as usd and other currencies even though the mechanics of it are somewhat different on many levels. Just doing any kind of work that pays in btc should do it, just like a person would do work for another currency ..
1527  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2016, 09:39:47 PM
Hey guys,

I just spoke to a guy over chat who told me his plan was to get 100 BTC, wait for the price to reach $5k per BTC and retire after that. Since he lives in a third world county, that might be possible for him. I know this is a simplification of the problem but I d like to know what s your plan. How many BTC is your goal, at what price and what happens once you reach that goal. After all, we have all been involved in a dream, why not dream it a bit more.  Grin

Just have to remember that by the time bitcoin reaches $5k (if ever) then the daily living cost will also probably be higher. Prices go up all the time, over time. so bread costs $1 today, and $10 usd in 10 years time. If bitcoin reaches $5k in 10years, then the new target for cashing out should be adjusted as well
1528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: no faith in bitcoin (ddos) on: July 03, 2016, 09:36:58 PM
Why would I trust a coin that drops in value massively when sites selling it are getting DDoSed?

this means it has no credibility at all, people can choke it with DDoS and then short it over and over again

too bad, it was a good coin

When one centralized coin exchange gets it's head chopped off just create another.

HYDRA.

BTC is getting ahead of itself by centralizing as fast as it can.

This tells you that the greed and lust for power is strong.

This is the old paradigm showing its ugly face by tainting the pure with "value".

This reply deserves some recognition .. I salute you!
1529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: July 03, 2016, 09:35:39 PM
Do you think that people hate bitcoins why?
Are you hate bitcoins or like it.........
But my answer is I LIKE BITCOIN.

People hate what they don't understand. If they don't understand bitcoin, then sure, they could hate it and thats why we that do use bitcoin have the responsibility to try to educate people and turn their opinions around. The more everyone puts into it, the more everyone will get out of it in the long run.
1530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Carry empty paper bitcoin wallets with you on: July 03, 2016, 09:31:26 PM
If people inquire about bitcoin perhaps give them one.

I was at a shop last week and he asked how I would like to pay.  I said bitcoin or Visa, he said oh that is still around?  Explained a bit and gave him 2mBTC.

Spread the info to those that are interested!  (I also have made a bitcoin for beginners cd LOL!)

Almost want to say that I'm proud of you! For people that use bitcoin ~ to take a few minutes to educate others about it and give a small incentive is the logical way to spread awareness.
1531  Other / Archival / Re: Where you get Bitcoin ? on: July 03, 2016, 09:29:40 PM
Faucet ? Cloud Mining ? Mining ? HYIP ? Any more ?

Deposit only, one day though hopefully I don't have to deposit anymore.
1532  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: July 03, 2016, 09:28:57 PM
for me Bitcoin allows me to hold some saving out of the banking system and the hands of the government.

Almost instant in most cases, and of course very very easy to make/receive payments.
1533  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many people are considering selling after the halving? on: July 03, 2016, 09:28:16 PM
I have concerns about lots of people exiting bitcoin once they reach a target before or after the halving,  what price will you cash out or will you hold strong?

The major risk of cashing out is that the train doesnt stop and you get left behind.

Selling half before the halving, and keep the other half to no matter what, but I will never sell everything.
1534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you allow the Government to look into your bitcoin wallets? on: July 03, 2016, 09:26:45 PM
In the coming days when the government will legalize bitcoin and puts up regulatory rules and policies on the use of bitcoins it is a prerogative of the government to monitor the bitcoin transactions as well as your bitcoin wallet. For how many years bitcoin has been operating outside the hands of the government and many illegal operations especially in the black market is taking place without being traced. This coming events may be helpful to the stability of bitcoins in its operation and security.

I would move to Panama, or some place where they don't try funky stuff like that. In time most people will move to safe havens and the old governments with wither away due to the lack of btc business =)
1535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had suddenly 500 BTC on: July 03, 2016, 09:25:01 PM
How would you transfer the btc to your bank account without making the banks / OCED ask questions?

Why would you want to convert those BTCs to fiat?
Just buy what you want with Bitcoin. Smiley

Yep, great answer, why convert when you can simply spend it right away without hassles?
1536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People deserve to lose their Bitcoins ? on: July 03, 2016, 09:23:53 PM
I honestly don't mean to be rude or anything but seriously ?

A lot of services scammed or really got hacked (Mt gox , Bitfinex , Poloniex , Bter , Purse.io , Coinapult , BitStamp , Scrypt.CC , Bitcoinica , Bitcurex and much much more)

Till now and after getting people losing thousands/millions of dollars , people still don't understand that they shouldn't keep their coins in Exchange for long term.

If we speak about Cloud mining companies , I think we are giving shitload of warnings when someone ask about cloud mining ... Still , people keep investing there and then cry when the service "claim" that they got hacked and never comeback.

Example :   HashOcean (lately) , Cloudminr , Cloudmining.website and a lot more !

So I really want to hear your opinions on this one guys.

PS : Halving is coming , you may want to start withdrawing your coins .. just in case ?  Roll Eyes

Agreed. There are many desktop wallets out there like https://multibit.org/ which doesn't require the user to download the entire Btc ledger, and the software has been verified and is trusted. I would go as far to say don't trust online wallets if possible. We have the power to do it ourselves now..
1537  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to buy bitcoins by paypal? on: July 03, 2016, 04:49:07 AM
One of the biggest issues today in Bitcoin is the fact that you can’t buy it very easily. Even though Paypal has been very favourable of Bitcoin in the past 2 years, it’s still an issue to find credible places to buy Bitcoins with Paypal in 2016. Why won’t Paypal allow this ? Simple. There are numerous chargeback cases created by scammers who buy Bitcoin with Paypal from you and then claim they didn’t receive anything. This way they get to keep their money and their Bitcoins
1538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please teach me how to grow my bitcoin on: July 03, 2016, 04:43:58 AM
Lend BTC on Chinese exchanges

To help BTC traders with their margin trading without a large commercial entity, regular Bitcoin users can now double as a lender.

Unlike lending on a peer-to-peer service, both borrower and lender will not know the other party’s identity.

And as a lender, you may offer BTC at an interest rate and maximum period of lending you specify, to be used by a margin trader. Borrowers may or may not take you up for it.

Both Bitfinex and BitVC do not have deposit or withdrawal fees.
1539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you recieved random BTC, would you return it? on: June 28, 2016, 03:15:04 PM
Let's say you wake up some day and you get like 1 BTC. For me this is a lot. What do you do? You return back the BTC to the owner, do you keep it? and why.

I don't know what I would do to be honest. I mean who knows if the guy that just sent you this is a criminal or a good man? Very tough decision. For someone like me that has a small BTC wallet and is trying to make as much BTC as possible before its too late due price going too high, it would be hard to return it, but I would feel bad to keep it too.

It would depend on how lazy I am at that moment. I'm usually very lazy overall so no, it's my coin now. If it happened on a gambling site and someone tipped me a coin by accident, then of course I would send it back instantly..  Grin
1540  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: June 28, 2016, 02:49:52 PM
Hello guys,

how many of you are earning for living just with bitcoin based projects? If some of you do, can you contribute what do you do?

I mainly gamble. Have been paying for rent and all types of goodies with gamble money for the past 7 months. I cash out everything I have, spend it all and start from scratch. Recycle and repeat  Grin
