I currently only have 1 IPv6 connection on my node. I will probably stop my node next days if Cryptsy doesn't take AMC out of maintenance. You might want to try the below to get it synching: addnode=157.161.128.55 addnide=[2a01:4f8:a0:3174::2]:9056

franko wallet down for 'maintenance' for almost 2 weeks on cryptsy
wtf is going on at that site??
It's not the only coin that is obviously healthy but down for maintenance since weeks in Cryptsy, there are countless others. It's a pity that FRK is on no other exchanges.

Unfortunately retarget in Alphacoin does not deal with multipools which leads to diff jumping wildly and therefor the blockchain being stuck for days before some good soul throws in a few hundred MHs to get the blockchain moving again. IMHO to survive, Alphacoin needs a revised difficulty adjustment formula very soon.

On suprnova GEN pool it says boldly: This coin forks a lot, make sure your wallet is on the same block as the pool and stop mining immediately if you feel something is wrong - this coin needs a fix for that urgently I wonder what the problem is/was and if this has been fixed. Maybe one of us should contact ocminer to find out what he thinks should be fixed on GEN? but i never experienced any obvious problem on binpool or ipominer, or they just kept silent Me too, I have mined quite some GEN on gen.suprnova.cc as well as solo and I never had any issues with both. But then again ocminer will probably have good reasons to say that. And I don't know if related but Yobits GEN wallet is in maintenance since weeks. I'll shoot ocminer a PM to ask for the reason, I am sure if he can he will help out. In any case it is nice to see Genstake move forward!

Mark,
Your firmware doesn't support overclocking, correct? Any chance you'd consider adding it into your next version? I want to try your firmware, but I run my A2s at 1300MHz since the W/MH scale very well and my power is cheap enough.
What kind of performance/power usage are you seeing at 1300MHz? I'm seeing about 9.58W per MH on one of my units, and about 9.14W per MH on another unit. I don't have stock fans in my A2s, so my numbers may be a little different than others (the stock A2 fans are nearly 25 watts a piece, so I put in some more efficient fans). My A2s all have ~19/17W fans (12V/1.6A or even 12V/1.4A). May I ask what kind of fans you are using now?

This maybe a noob question but....a rasberry - pi can control an asic....but can it control a graphics card?
No.

Goto the "Receive" Tab and check the address which holds your coins that you can't spend. Then right-click and if there is an option "Unfreeze", select that. After that you should be able to use these coins/funds.
Maybe you made the address that received the funds frozen accidentally while exploring electrum.

4x A2Box 84mhash Scrypt I might be interested. Could you supply a bit more information regarding the above item and its current state as well as your price idea? Thanks.

Thank you for the quick fix, much appreciated! Seems as if it resolved my problems - first blocks have been found with scrypt merged mining here now ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Not really related to the ANX firmware, but make sure your miner has a default gateway set and can reach the internet. HTH

2015-09-26 10:59:36.833000 > Error while calling merged getauxblock on http://192.168.0.1:10889: .. 2015-09-26 10:59:36.833000 > twisted.web.error.Error: 403 Forbidden You might try to restart the wallet, I had similar messages in my pools log before I restarted myriadcoind today. Or try myriadcoin-cli getauxblock and see if you get an auxblock template or an error.

I tried merge mining MYR with scryt this morning after block was > 1402000, hower I am getting errors when I find blocks: 2015-09-26 11:02:08 ERROR: Aux POW parent has our chain ID 2015-09-26 11:02:08 ERROR: AUX POW is not valid
Is anybody successfully merge-mining MYR? Do I need more in the conf than "algo=scrypt" now? Thanks

I had this once on a 88MHs A2 Terminator but it went away with a power cycle. You should first check the power and USB connectors going to the problematic blade, I could well imagine that they became lose in transport or in the first hours of operation from vibrations. Also check if the problematic blade gets warm (= has power). Checking the output of lsusb and dmesg in the RPi might give you further hints on whats wrong. HTH

How does your idea compare to existing decentralized concepts like Yacy?

block reward is very important going into the future but what is even more important is the amount of network hash going after those rewards - only time will tell if the block reward is significant or not.
Totally true. But about the max supply, I must admit gjhiggins and notsofast had me doubting for a while, so I checked with other devs just to make sure and you know what ? The max money is well... the max money. static const int64 MAX_MONEY = 2900000 * COIN;
MAX_MONEY limits the total number of coins allowed in a single transaction/fee NOT the total number of coins. @Graham : Wrong. You're just full of fud! Strong words, I am sure you are sure you have the facts to base that accusation. Would you eventually enlighten me as where in your sources MAX_MONEY limits the total supply? Oh, and maybe you could use a dev-tool called google and end up with a link like that: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/6197/filesOr you could consult this very same forum and find https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=331069.0*tsktsk* @Graham: thank you for your repeated insights and helpful posts, I learn a lot from them!
