@Trofo @cryptofrka My answer for #5 needs to be corrected to a draw please check, I got the same answer as my opponent, but mine was marked red.

I guess my answer looked similar to the ones above me that went for Rune since we all answered in the same order.  Wink

I think that these organizations have got money to do that and apply them to have another passport if these problems have already been foreseen but we'll see the development and news about it as we go near to the date of the major which we still got 3 weeks from now.
If only it was that easy to fix we'd barely see teams needing a substitute, but I don't have high hopes when even OG who has a lot of money to spend was forced to play with a stand-in during the Berlin Major.

The highlight to the first day of the tournament were Imperial Esports who beat the hot squad of Team Vitality who were just coming off their championship win in the Paris Blast.tv final
I watched that series and Team Vitality were caught sleeping after that dominating T-side Overpass from Imperial and then their struggles continued in Vertigo. I guess they're not as hungry to get a high placement for this tournament since they already qualified for the World Finals.

Now the upper bracket matchup should be a cruise for G2 since they looked solid against Cloud9, and this is a much easier matchup as I think Vitality doesn't care as much playing into this tournament.

West ham vs Fiorentina ended in a 2-1 victory for the english side winning the Europa final in a rather easy win.
I thought the match would go through extra time when Fiorentina quickly answered back, but West Ham found their second goal around the 90th min and held on for the win.

Also, I landed this nice special bet (2.5 corners and 2+ yellows) boosted from 2.15 to 2.50, and finally ended my losing streak.  Cheesy

BOL on the NBA bets i'm only watching atm, but the total seems to be on pace for the under as the game is slowing down by a lot.

1524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 08, 2023, 12:03:28 AM
so for me my pick will be the Denver Nuggets
I also have to side with the Nuggets because the last game came down to three-point shooting, and even though they're playing at Miami, they're more likely to regress after shooting that successfully behind the arc. And to get the best value possible on my Nuggets bet, i've picked the handicap because i've heard whenever the handicap is this close, it's usually one way or the other. It'll be Miami winning outright or the Nuggets winning by several points.

1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll management discussion on: June 07, 2023, 06:55:16 PM
I mostly bet on a fixed percentage, but there are times when i'll break that rule and go for bigger bets. It also depends on the game i'm playing because on slots, I usually bet on the smallest amount you can place per spin because they're much faster, while on the live table games, I go for slightly aggressive bets that are around 5% or even higher as each round lasts one or two minutes long. I don't always withdraw my balance whenever i'm in profit because i'll have moments when I still want to play the next day.
1526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: June 07, 2023, 05:43:31 PM
It's good to feel remorse once in a while so you know where to draw the line, but when it's most of the time, then you may have to look back on what happened in your previous session. It's better to be alert at times, but it's best when you have a specific set of rules to follow so you don't go through the same problems in the future. Sometimes I get carried away when i'm having a profitable day and would start to place dumb bets that shouldn't have happened if i'm more disciplined enough.

^^
Rangers won last night but didn't cover for the bet to hit. MLB bets I have made had not won on my betslips either. Most teams records are at .500 so not easy to know the ML even for the best of teams.

I'll be sticking to the rest of the NBA season for my next bets and the French Open since they have a few more days left of the tournament.
It sucks they had to ruin the spread and give up one run at the 9th. Tongue It does get pretty random at times as some teams would just crumble against one of the worst teams in the league like the As.  Cheesy

There's also the ECL finals between West Ham and Fiorentina later today. I don't have any idea which markets to bet on, but i'll wait for the special lines and see if Sportsbet will bless us with some great props or boosted multis.

Also, here's a nice surprise from Suspect
With esports and sports listed on the same page means they're now under the same provider right? If that's the case, that's bad news for me since I liked the old provider that always offered better odds on the handicaps.

On the bright side, it's nice to have the ability to put both sports and esports in a multi-bet since the other sportsbooks have the same limitation when betting on their esports markets.

Sometimes I wonder if we will ever see a time in which Korean teams stop dominating League of Legends tournaments. Because for long years this hasn't changed even a bit. Actually not only Korean teams, Chinese teams have also improved themselves a lot. The last MSI tournament was a perfect example for the thing I'm saying.

We saw only Korean and Chinese teams in final rounds of the tournament. EU and NA teams still don't learn their lesson from this at all. They can only beat each other but there is no such thing nearly all the time when it comes to doing the same to Asian teams. I see a big lack of discipline and strategies in EU and NA teams as a result.
There are still a lot of veteran players in the LCK and LPL, so it might take several years to see the western teams dominate the international tournaments. The gap is only widening because the EU and NA veterans are slowly retiring, and the remaining veteran players are underperforming while it's the opposite for the LCK and LPL players. There's still a bit of hope through imports as some of the NA and EU teams are starting to recruit players from the LCK, but it'll take years to build a more competitive team that can match the top teams like T1 and Gen.G.
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: June 06, 2023, 11:07:17 PM
The ban would only limit my options in selling my bitcoins but i'll continue playing in crypto casinos because i'm currently in a signature campaign that pays in bitcoins, so i'll still have to sell them regardless of the ban or not. Nothing would change for me in the gambling part since most crypto casinos won't be affected, and if I have to spend my bitcoins, it's always better to sell them first anyway.

There's also Azure Ray securing the final slot in the CN Div1 after a three map series against Xtreme Gaming yesterday during the tiebreakers.

I hope that all of them win against any VISA issue that they might face going to Indonesia.
This is unavoidable for a few players because a few weeks ago, there was a discussion about 33 not attending the Bali Major due to his nationality and Fly would be affected as well.  It's unfortunate for both players if this is true, but on the bright side, they're already qualified for TI anyway so their teams don't have to perform as much.
1532  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 5 Advantages of Bitcoin Casinos vs. Traditional Casinos on: June 06, 2023, 01:33:10 AM
The explanation behind the first advantage isn't true though. I haven't used a traditional casino, but from what i've seen on other gamblers, they don't hide these odds, and they shouldn't because it'll ruin their reputation. Some traditional sites might even be superior because they have a few features that aren't available on crypto sportsbooks.

The "original games" that most Bitcoin casinos have might give them the edge in terms of game variety, but overall it's still not that big of an advantage that'll encourage gamblers to switch casinos.
1533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which League Makes Sports Betting Easy to Win? on: June 06, 2023, 12:35:18 AM
There's no good league that's consistently easy to predict, and if there is one, then the bookies will probably juice it out until there's no value on the odds. You can pick any of the European leagues as a start, but it's best to bet on fewer leagues as much as possible so you can focus on them. For me, the European leagues are entertaining, but betting wise they're not easy to keep up with because there are always those unfortunate rounds when underdogs would take points away from the favorites that don't make sense, or sometimes the favorites would lose momentum and perform mediocrely in the next three or four matches.
1534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: June 06, 2023, 12:05:08 AM
@ralle14
It really came down to the wire last night in the 4th quarter.
Once the 9th minute hit it seemed that Denver couldn't land their shots and Miami defense kicked into another level.
Jokic from what I remembered had 39 points but was getting fouled alot near the end. No triple-double since his assists only got to 4.
Missed the very last few minutes but it looked like they were only 3 points down, so probably a clutch three pointer didn't happen. Usually Jimmy Butler takes those to win Miami their games. But Murray wasn't the hero that night for the Nuggets.
The over did hit for us but the Nuggets failed us in the fourth.  Tongue

Miami's 4th quarter was so deadly in the first few minutes they suddenly go on a 19-2 run and the three-point shooting from Miami keeps hitting while for the Nuggets nothing was landing up until the last 2-3 minutes. The Nuggets had to rely on Jokic to score most of their baskets and unfortunately, it wasn't enough.

While waiting for the next game, i'll try to hit this one last free bet on the Rangers.

That one-week break was so fast it felt like the last day of season 1 was just yesterday.  Cheesy

I already submitted my answers, but I don't feel too good about them since they felt too obvious to be the right choice (still took them anyway).

Hopefully, my opponent submits on time so we get a fair rematch.  Wink

It might be possible for Secret to pull out a new team or at least to say goodbye to a couple of members because yesterday Gorc said that it was a big discussion on their channel yesterday with Yammich , Boom and Armel and a lot of board members from Secret because they relegated to Div 2 again and something is really going wrong there and I hope is not Puppey because he is Team Secret after all but I would not be socked to see Puppey going in NA with Arteezy once again as the bromance is still there between them.
It's expected when a team fails to get good results, and it's better to make changes right away since the TI qualifiers are not that far off. I doubt Puppey would lose his spot in Team Secret because there aren't many players that can match him in terms of being a captain in the team. Those three players might have plans to play with a different team that's why they're in discussion with the board members so they can find a replacement ahead of time.

I missed the grand finals of the IEM, but it's well deserved for ENCE after almost losing against Faze in the third map that was close to reaching 60 rounds.
1537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things that still make feel awkward with some online casinos on: June 05, 2023, 01:42:47 AM
@pawanjain Stake.com used to have an exchange for exchanging coins which we thought was more comfortable to use for gambling but unfortunately I forgot the name of the exchange a little.
It was Coinswitch, and from what I remember, their service was one of the best since the rates you get are coming from the big exchanges.

Hopefully, in the future, many casinos will think about adding exchanges in their casinos to help their members who want to convert their coins before sending them to other wallets. And yes, it is an additional source of income for the casino too, by owning that exchange.
Instead of an exchange, they should introduce a feature that Duelbits currently have and give the gamblers the option to pick any crypto to withdraw from.
1538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: European Sex Championship 😳, Will you Bet? on: June 05, 2023, 12:47:51 AM
I already bet and follow too many sports, so i'd pass on the thought of betting on the sex championship. Also, there are better tournaments and leagues to bet on this month (NBA, RG, NHL, CL, MLB, etc.) that includes a promotion, but I can imagine a few bettors placing bets on these events just for fun, as most bookies nowadays accept smaller bets. I still don't see sex as a form of sport because there's no chance this would be added to a big event like the Olympics.
1539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: June 05, 2023, 12:03:51 AM
NBA Finals game 2 are coming up to wrap up a weekend filled with sports from start to finish.
Have Denver Nuggets to win and over 215.5 points for a combo @2.35x odds while these have been the same since yesterday when making my selection for this match.
I also have those two on my betbuilder and a Jokic triple-double since he always hits it at home. It's rare to see the first game going under, but the over is prime and ready for this game because there's a better chance that the Heat will go for at least 100 points.

And for those who are placing more than two bets don't forget to use the extra price boost as I only found out about it after I already used all of my free bets.  Tongue
