1521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Pros and Cons of Bitcoin Gambling on: June 24, 2022, 06:57:43 AM
It's not private anymore if a casino will require us to comply with the KYC.

Though there are still a lot of casinos that really offer anonymous gambling, the moment they get a license, it's just like they are turning into a fiat casino because they are already regulated, hence gamblers have to comply with the regulation.

It's only private if it's a "real decentralized" system that we are using, unfortunately, it does not work that way becuase bitcoin is only a payment method and we still follow the typical type of gambling.
1522  Economy / Gambling / Re: hello Players!! on: June 24, 2022, 06:15:52 AM
To be honest, I'm not attracted with the UI of the site, like they said, "first impression last", so I suggest you improve your UI so you'll be able to compete with the popular gambling sites in the space. It's very important that the gambling site is very pleasant to the eyes of the gamblers, appearance is very important as that's the first thing they'll notice.

I thought it's only me that has this challenge. Any site that I visit, I check out gor two things and choose if I will remain or leave immediately. The aesthetics of the site, which happens to do much with the choice of color. With the variation knowledge of colors, a good site should have just two colors (primary and secondary colors), the third color should be for tweaks using it with opacity.
What again I look at is the user friendliness. If I see myself search for a particular icon for more than 30secs, the site is not user friendly.
For start ups, the first things matter, UI is a welcome address.
OP has to improve it or change the UI so it will be attractive, our standard now is high because we were able to play with other gambling sites with good UI and they also have a lot of promotion, that's why the competition in the market is really tight.
1523  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Casinos Vs Ethereum Casinos on: June 24, 2022, 05:39:28 AM
Apart from transaction fees and transaction time, Ethereum is not anyhow ahead of Bitcoins.
The main reason for which people choose Ethereum Casinos over Bitcoin Casinos is due to the low transaction fees of Ethereum.
On the other hand Bitcoin is widely popular and in almost all crypto casinos it is accepted.
If you ask me for my opinion, I would still go for Bitcoin casinos over Ethereum in this bull market also.
This opinion might vary from users to user, but yes as a sole Bitcoin lover, I will prefer Bitcoin casinos over anything.

As of the article below, the average transaction fee of ETH is 0.7358 USD, that's affordable but the moment the market is in bull run, that will just increase and gamblers won't be able to afford on the fees again.

https://ycharts.com/indicators/ethereum_average_transaction_fee

Most gamblers like a fast and cheap(affordable transaction fee) because most of the gamblers does gamble only a small amount of money, and they frequently make deposits and withdrawals.
1524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 23, 2022, 03:29:04 PM

so, even though i am a gambling addict but i understand that winning is impossible so i can control myself
but don't you have the will to win?
i have the will to win, but not expect too  Smiley
sometimes i get emotional too when several times i place bet on blackjack, always losing, the desire to win makes me even more angry. but when i'm emotional and angry, my friends and wife always remind me by saying "control your emotions it's just a game".
so with my habit of always being given advice from friends or wife when angry, i became used to it and when i lost placing a bet i calmed my own mind by saying "this is just entertainment"
Myself doesn't really need any advise yet I could able to control myself yet I've been putting into my mind that stop immediately when I'm at deep loss or spending the funds which aren't supposed to be spent on gambling and when you are a type of person who do have this kind of behavior then you do really have a good self control of everything specially on gambling situations. We do always mind about winning but entertainment should be your main priority.
Self-control is a hard challenge but when you master controlling yourself then you would be in a much different phase, much different from a person who's a slave in his mind. Personally, it's just a matter of mind over body and if we don't want to see ourselves in a rough situation then I guess we should try to control ourselves more often. That's right, entertainment is the one we should covet and if we had some winnings along the path then just consider it as a bonus because we came for entertainment and surely that comes with a price.
1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 21, 2022, 07:19:43 PM

That was an arranged fight, we can really expect a mismatch for Tagoe and Garcia..

How do you know it was an arranged fight? I mean tagoe was like 32-0 and who's boxer losses his mind to sell his precious career record for a lose?
That was clearly a mismatch, it wasn't arranged, it was cherry picked. People were deceived by Tagoe's record as if he's worthy to beat as an opponent for Garcia. That guy Tagoe might have fought a bunch of mediocre boxers.
Obviously, he has no chance on winning fighting toe to toe against a faster and younger Garcia.

Maybe he finds arranged and cherry-picked synonymous with each other, but each word has its own distinctive meaning as the correct term for that was Oscar cherry-picked Tagoe. We can remember that it was an interim fight for Ryan Garcia to get him back on track after his mental issues and inactivity after he fought Campbell.

Oscar thought that Tagoe can be a big challenge to the kid so that Garcia will be ready to fight Kambosos Jr. but Tagoe was very disappointing to see running in the ring.
1526  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Brand Name Vs Site Functionality? Or Both? on: June 21, 2022, 06:24:28 PM
There are already thousands of Gambling websites online and to start one and beat your competition, you need to be far better than already existing one's.
I would say name doesn't matter that much as compared to site functionality. If I am able to Deposit, Withdraw and perform all the operations with ease, I would choose that website.
Also, having able to deposit/withdraw in multiple assets/methods helps a lot.
It is true the competition on the gambling industry is fierce but at the same time it is precisely because of it that you need to find any single edge you can.

And while without a doubt the functionality of the website is the most important aspect of the businesses operation, a good name can make the marketing campaign way easier and cheaper to run, something which is not a small accomplishment at all as the bigger and most powerful casinos spend a great deal of their money on finding ways to promote their brand.

Indeed, both site functionality and brand name are definitely important but site functionality comes first as it's the most important in the site because gamblers are surely looking for some casinos which offer comfort, a reliable service, without a single bug, a good customer service and of course, some freebies that gamblers would surely bite. The brand name on the other hand, also needed to be created carefully as they surely wanted a name that will etch in the customer's memories for a long time.
1527  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: June 21, 2022, 05:49:02 PM
Looking for more crypto casino options, used to play on stake but had kyc asked over,is there any that has absolutely 0% chance of that being asked ?

ps: if you are a winning player (i know its rare or impossible) or won a big jackpot on any crypto casino, i would like some tips if you can,i can pay for your time,my telegram is @ ellieljonzz
Like what you said above , it is rare or impossible if you are a winning player so by any chance you already knew that there is nothing we can mention because all online casino will require you KYC in whatever they wanted to ask and that is the situation in gambling since the abusing and cheating take place, casino nowadays are more vigilant and monitoring each accounts activities for possible abusing.

Not all casino but mostly, but I do recommend the OP to pass that KYC because that's for his/her own good and the casino is just making sure that their rules are strictly met and you're not just a random kid who's way below the legal age to play in casinos. Anyway, you won't have to be afraid if you're not guilty of something. Just be careful giving your details though, and if KYC is asked, make sure it's a reputable casino so that your information is safe.
1528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 21, 2022, 05:26:58 PM

It was a punishing moment for Joe Smith Jr. he really never expect what will happen to him if he came toe to toe with Beterbiev, and it was the wrong decision in my opinion to get really close to Artur and challenge him in a brawl, on the 1st to 2nd knockdown, Joe Smith Jr. is now feeling the side effect of those punches of Beterbiev, but he realizes that he needs to score more, but the 2nd round will be his demise and that Joe Smith Jr. Realizes that Beterbiev is a much advance boxer than he thinks he is,

I never expected this to be one-sided, we are caught by surprise at how easy Beterbiev beat Joe Smith Jr., there was a huge discrepancy in power and skills it made me think if this is really a light heavyweight against a light heavyweight it looks like heavyweight against a middleweight, every punch that connected has a serious impact on Joe Smith Jr. and to think Joe Smith Jr. is a much younger fighter, this fight makes Beterbiev a very dangerous fighter 18-0- 18 is just an awesome record.

We can somehow say that but we can't also deny Beterbiev's record. Also, is Joe Smith Jr. really up for the job to put an end to Beterbiev's KO streak and put a single loss on his record? That question alone will give us a hard time believing the latter could really give a defeat to Beterbiev. I mean Smith is good and according to his record, he's a decent one with a high KO percentage but Beterbiev is really different as only few selected boxers are born to have a heavy punch Beterbiev had.
1529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: June 21, 2022, 04:37:57 PM
So this is going to be his biggest pay, if my theory is right. So probably guarantee of upward to $8 million, and Spence around $10 million.

Agree with you. Since there is no doubt, that this will be Terence Crawford's biggest fight in his career, expect that this is also the biggest paycheck he might receive regardless of the result. Errol Spence Jr. is considered as the King of PPV and will surely grab more audiences making the purse big.

If I remember it right, back then, when Crawford was offered to fight Pacquiao, a guaranteed $10 million is being offered to him, win or loss. It stated that amount will be the highest paycheck that Crawford will receive in his entire boxing career. Just correct me if I'm wrong here.

Here against Spence, he might earn more than that even the purse split will be 60/40 in favor of Spence Jr.

No doubt, Crawford will really earn good and receive a pretty handful paycheck whether he's the hailed winner or loser in this fight because the Crawford-Spence undisputed fight will surely be the biggest match of the year. Actually, he doesn't even need to try and sell the fight because Spence already got that covered for sure as the PPV King.

And yes, you're right that Pacquiao offered Crawford a guaranteed $10 Million if the fight will materialize but Bob Arum didn't approve the offer knowing that Bob always wanted wanted more and a $10M ain't making Bob interested.

1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 21, 2022, 04:07:28 PM
Mark Magsayo will definitely understand and respect the fact if he will really be listed as the underdog in the fight as per sports bookies against Rey Vargas, but I don't that will happen because he's the defending champion. On the other hand, that might be good as his odds are far more greater if he'll be listed as underdog though.

Being the favorite or underdog, both boxers might not bother to think about it. Nothing special for them if they will be listed as either of those. In other words, they don't actually care for bookies' decision in providing odds for them. Clearly, Magsayo as a champion should be the slight favorite regardless of how strong Vargas is.

And besides, they are both undefeated and how come it can be a basis on "who's the stronger between these two"?

For let's say, if ever that bookies will consider Magsayo as an underdog, then it's good for us. Not just here in PH but other countries might put a bet on Magsayo too as I think it's a rare case where the Champion is an underdog. The fight is just around the corner. We should expect more odds previews in the following weeks to come.

Yes, being listed on either favorite or underdog won't matter to them as they aren't the ones who put some bet on these bookies. Magsayo being listed as an underdog will be an advantage to our sides as a bettor even if it is just a slight of odds as an underdog will always have the prettier odds than the listed favorite.

Being a champion won't be a basis to become a favorite, I think we already know about that part because we've seen enough champions listed as the underdog.
1531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 20, 2022, 07:21:58 PM
...
This reminds me of the Garcia's previous fight against Emmanuel Tagoe who're experienced with 33 fight with only 1 lose, but after the fight... all we can see is Emmanuel Tagoe is just running away and avoid to punch Garcia. Even Tagoe is unknown fighter, but there's some replay of his old fights that show he can box. I'm sure they have an agreement to make easy win for Garcia and I think Fortuna will so same.

Garcia claiming his next fight will be against Tank, if this will come true and let's say Garcia win, then he's deserve it since Tank isn't a dumb fighter who only looking for money.

Might be mate but we can't know for sure Grin Just give Javier the benefit of the doubt as he's more of a professional fighter unlike Tagoe who's just a local boxer from his country and suddenly got exposure when he was cherry-picked to fight Oscar's Golden Boy as an interim. I agree with @YuginKadoya, Javier might be the boxer who could push the kid and bring him back on track, Garcia just needs a wake up call from his inactivity which Tagoe cannot give.

When he fought Tagoe, it was like a mismatch. So I don't know if Tagoe couldn't really fight Garcia in a toe-to-toe scenario or there was a prior arrangement. That for sure, we won't know. But with Javier, I hope he will give him a lesson. Much better if he can beat Garcia so Golden Boy promotions will see what they are grooming here. So yes, for me, Javier is not the same caliber with Tagoe. I am hoping he will give a much better fight inside the ring.
That was an arranged fight, we can really expect a mismatch for Tagoe and Garcia. But this fight with Javier, although to say that Javier gains higher winning expectation, yet for sure Garica won't let that easy as he also wants to prove something to the crowd. Likely, this fight won't disappoint us, it was indeed a match fight and only the best man win.  Anyways, I put my bet to Garcia...

It was indeed a mismatch, remember that Oscar dela Hoya himself picked Tagoe just to have fight with his boy. That fight was a no brainer because we can say that the fight is already decided who's the winner, but winning wasn't the only goal in Garcia's camp because they need to prepare him up before they decide to face him with some good names in the industry.

Even if Tagoe would try hard at that time, Garcia was really too much for him. If he go for a toe-to-toe, I'm afraid he'll just be knocked out giving Garcia a nice result.
1532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Session That Lingers On Or Keep Staying On your Mind on: June 20, 2022, 06:41:36 PM
There is such a psychological feature of the human psyche - a person experiences more negative experiences from losing than joy from winning.

In gambling, losses and winnings are distributed approximately equally (50/50).  In this case, the player experiences more negative emotions.  This can lead to nervous breakdowns and depression.  In particular, a person may begin to suffer from insomnia.  He may be haunted by disturbing thoughts about past gambling.

All of the above applies to beginners (experienced and professional players adapt to this feature of the human psyche).
Such psychological impact on our mind never lasts longer, it eventually vanishes in time especially when we experience some good moments after worse events. Of course, to remember those days that we've lost is a normal interaction and it keeps on our minds for a few days. I'm not sure if this is weird or not but this makes our minds even work and changes our mindset. It helps us to even realize that losing from gambling is natural.
That's the thing when we experience losses along the way as we gamble especially if we did lose some good amount, so for sure we won't have a comfortable nights to sleep good, and that thought will linger and haunt us while we're laying in bed. But I agree, that will cease and eventually we will just get used to it as we will harbor new experiences day by day. The important thing is that we will always choose to move on and we will just think at those memories again to remind us.
1533  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: June 20, 2022, 06:11:31 PM
It would be cool if we added the ability to play games with other players. Board role-playing games like Mafia or Spy come to my mind. Making money playing favorite games would be great!

I really don't think you can play Mafia or spy on an online casino because there are things that you need to put into considerations
(1) The cost of running a server for that kind of heavy graphics game will be huge for the house, if the Casino is willing to pay big money for running and maintenance, will you be ready to wager a big amount to play.
(2) If the games are high dedicated graphics, will you be ready to pay to subscribe for a large amount of internet bundle, you will likely spend more to play these kinds of games in Casino.

Lets PS5 and Xbox handle this, you can invite your friends over or play multiplayer when connected over the internet.

I agree, that's too much for a casino to add because the clients would of course ain't playing something like that as they are more looking forward to a mini-game that would be over in 10 minutes or less, but let's say that they will come along, the problem is will there be someone willing to play it in like daily or weekly basis.

That's right, let them come over and do some bets. That's much comfortable rather than going to the casino just to play simulation games.
1534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 19, 2022, 07:44:23 PM

That's 100%, Butler is not even a better fighter than Donaire IMO, so there's no way he will beat Inoue, I see a KO in the early rounds. If Butler would choose to run, still the same result, it's still a Loss and the belt will be taken by Inoue for him to become an undisputed champion.

I Agree, and from that Naoya Inoue VS Nonito Donaire 2 fight many were really shocked that the match will end in the 2nd round, Many think that Donaire would last for longer rounds, and give us an amazing fight like the last time, but it's just that Naoya Inoue now is on a different level since their last fight, and from that 1st fight Donaire was down as well, because of Inoue's body blows, but because of Nonito's determination during the fight he lasted until the fight ends, and it was a totally different fight from the last time,

All of the fans were astounded by what happened, we never have taken some thought that Inoue could finish the fight much earlier than we expected, well even Donaire didn't as well. The thing is, Donaire did his best to even their standing but Inoue was just a different fighter, a lot of improvement since their first fight.

That said, I won't be surprised if Butler would be sleeping through the canvass if he chooses to taste some of the punches from the Monster.
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: June 19, 2022, 07:20:44 PM
^^ I think it will back fire on Crawford if this fight will break down just because he wants more or at least 50/50. He is a good fighter no doubt, but his PPV numbers are not that good compare to Spence and he should accept that fact.

So we can say that Spence is the A-sde and could be dictating the terms. But that should be fine with Crawford. What is foremost is that this fight is going to be made without any manager excuses on the side of Crawford. Because that has been the sticking point ever since, Bob Arum doesn't want to deal or wont allow Crawford face a PBC fighter. That is eliminate since he is managing his own career now.

Spence has nothing to lose if Crawford will choose not to make this fight happen, both are still undefeated but based on the number of belts, Spence has an edge and most of his opponents are quality opponents compared to Crawford. He should not be greedy here, be smart and take the chance even if he only gets 40% of the total purse or revenue.

Spence won't ever be considered the best if he doesn't fight Crawford.  This fight needs to go off for both fighters, otherwise there will always be an asterisk next to theor name and belts.  Imo Spence shoukd consider himself lucky if this fight doesn't come together.  He doesn't want any part of Crawford
Crawford and Spence need to move to another step which they need to fight in order to know who is the best in their division we all know that Crawford has a lot of matches than Spence in their career but still if a player has a strategy focus and plan then he will be te champ and that's Spence in my perspective he can defeat Crawford even he can not knock down Crawford at least via split decision is enough hoping that he win .

And that's what they are doing right now isn't it? Trying to negotiate or maybe it's really done by this day. Maybe the only issue is the venue, but I heard rumors that it will be in Las Vegas.

So if this fight came into reality, not sure who will be the favorite, maybe just a slight on favor on Crawford. So it's really up to Spence to show up in this fight and maybe motivated if he will indeed the underdog as he has better resume and opposition and has more belt in the table that could swing the 60-40 purse split on him.

Maybe it's the other way around because they certainly would not want their fight date to be near with the Canelo-GGG trilogy fight, so the date is really crucial for both parties and they wanted to make sure that the dates won't conflict with each other. About the place, yes, there's a rumor that the venue will be at Las Vegas where both of them is neutral.

I bet Crawford is the one who tries hard to negotiate the fight because he knows that his numbers are getting older while Spence is still on his peak, time is his enemy. 60/40 split is still a win-win situation for Crawford as he knows that Spence has more belt on the table and the latter can maximize the PPV revenue than him.
1536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 19, 2022, 06:58:35 PM

Just one of those random odds here:

Quote
Predictions: Who Will Win?
Latest Odds

    Magsayo to win: 1/2
    Vargas to win: 2/1
    Draw: 19/1

https://champinon.info/schedule/magsayo-vs-vargas/#pred

Yeah, most of the time it's really hard to understand how bookies put someone as favorite. This fight is close, but again as I have said, we should take advantage specially if they are going to put Magsayo at 2.x odds and higher.

Magsayo is 1/2, which means our $100 will only win $50,.. I think the odds are just right, he is the champion so he should be the favorite to win. However, I like the odds of Vargas here because he is also a great fighter, and he has a chance to beat Magsayo if he could box him right.

That's right, it would be a disrespect for Magsayo if he will be listed as the underdog in this fight. I think we should wait until these odds are available on our favorite bookies so we can confirm that it's the correct betting odds, also, we can bet early if we see some value on the odds provided.

1537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 18, 2022, 10:40:37 PM
The last game of the series was really emotional for Curry. He made a really high effort this time after that poor performance in the fifth game. He led the team to the victory and the championship also. But I wouldn't like to show it like only he tried. Warriors really impressed me by a big team effort so far. Generally they would have relied on Curry to save the team but now things are a little more differen than that. Poole, Wiggins and Thompson also take the responsibility which is very good for them.
Yes... that's true and I also agree with that!
It seemed to me that Curry "lifted a weight off his back"

I believe that came to mind that image of the finals that the Warriors lost to the Raptors, Thompson suffer his ACL injury and unfortunately Curry couldn't "carry" the entire team into those finals! (2018-2019)

Once again he proved that he is an excellent player and he may even have been inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame!

No doubt that he will be included in the hall of fame, and after Curry's retirement, I expect him to be in the top 3 list of the greatest NBA players in history if he cannot dethrone MJ in the number 1 to take the GOAT award. Curry will continue to make history, he is still healthy and there's a big possibility that the Warriors will again make a back to back championship.

I'm not aware that sportsbet.io have that feature, I have been using this gambling site but I have not seen that they are offering this kind. Can you at least guide us here on how to access the live streaming on the said site?

Well they have streamed some events with twitch a couple of years ago https://www.twitch.tv/sportsbet_io
You can have a look from their promotion page https://sportsbet.io/promotions/sportsbet-tv
But it seems that actually they have closed their service Sad
post updated! thank you!

This is the message prompt from the link.

I see they are not offering it anymore so there's no other option now but to just enjoy the stake.com live streaming because, in crypto, they are the only one who is offering it I guess. Also, I have not tried Playbetr live streaming service yet, I will check that one too.
1539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: June 18, 2022, 09:53:40 PM
Are there any updates about this fight? Hopefully, they can announce it before the end of June.

Terence Crawford gives Errol Spence Jr fight update

Terence Crawford himself gives an update recently that they are still trying to make the fight possible.

And I quote from the article:

"What makes things difficult is the 34-year-old Crawford only has one belt to Spence’s three, and he’s not a huge pay-per-view attraction or ticket seller like him. Although Crawford is ranked ahead of Spence in Ring Magazine’s pound-for-pound list at #3 to his #4, there’s not enough of a cushion to help in the negotiations."

It's clear that the main subject here is maybe the split. Spence may be demanding a much higher split above 60-40 because of his pay-per-view revenue and multi-title in possession. That seems reasonable to be demanded by Spence. If everything failed, Crawford may consider moving up weight instead and forget fighting Spence until the latter calls for him.

So what is happening in this fight? I thought this is already settled and there's already a date of the said fight. Well, 60/40 should be a good split, Spence Jr. has more belts and he deserve a higher cut of the revenue, I hope Crawford will understand that because if he wins this fight, he will be the undisputed champion.

Crawford should take the smaller financial take on this fight?  Man I hope this fight goes off now.  A pissed off disrespected Crawford will whoop Spence's ass.  Crawford been disrespected his whole career, and all he does is completely wreck everyone in the ring.  This should go off at 50/50 with the winner getting the belts.  I see no other way this will go off.

Well, we have our own opinion regarding the split, but based on record they are both undefeated while Spence is holding more belts than Spence, so there's no way this fight will go 50/50 unless Spence will agree to that, but if Spence will demand a higher percentage, I think he deserves that.

This is business, it's not about the records or how good you are, it's all about your market value and Spence has been a better PPV attraction than Crawford, so he can say take it or leave it and just move up in weight.

You guessed right about the art contest. This is the newest art contest from Roobet Art Contest "Summer '22" | $4950 Up for grabs! Ends July 31st!
...
Speaking of the devil! LOL!

Well, I guess since the contest is currently up and running, I highly advised that everyone should take their time conceptualizing on how their artwork would look like especially now that all participants are fully aware of each others art style/composition. Not only the contest improves our skills, but creating a "well-designed" piece is another way of giving gratitude to the whole management of Roobet.

So yeah! Best of luck! And I hope that the announcement reaches those people who have difficulty being updated with the contest LOL!!

Roobet has been so consistent with the art competition. I think this one is quite different compared to the past as participants can submit 2 entries and could win 2 prizes, so this is really good, especially for people who have talent in drawing. I have a feeling that @Maus0728 will again be one of the winners.  Grin
