I'm a bit disappointed with the ratings it has in play store right now but I will never know once I already played it. I have fun with it I might try suggesting these to my friends and my family while we are still on quarantine.
1522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Holders actually bought BTC during the crash? on: March 27, 2020, 03:25:35 AM
I think the decline is the right time to buy, yes some people do that with the belief that the market will be better in the future. But remember, we cannot buy without research results.

People should always check the price charts.

With the price dumps, obviously people would be taking that for granted and obviously, people would be checking first the chart for some indicators using some strategies like a candlestick. Always remember that doesn't mean the price dumps, you will be buying immediately since we never know what might happen, it might just be the start of the dump.
1523  Economy / Economics / Re: India - Complete Country Lockdown - Is it on the Verge of Economic Crisis ? on: March 27, 2020, 02:46:49 AM
Respected Prime Minister of India has declared Complete Shut Down of "India"

It is very big decision by PM of India and this shut down is not for one day, one week BUT its for whole 21 Days!!

Moreover, internal sources suggest that this lockdown is going to be extended further more if situation of corona doesnt follow within control. This is crazy decision has shaken the whole India for sure and its gonna create economic crisis! People wont be having any money after a month to spend for daily needs, industries wont be paying to employees because there is no business, which means no money outflow-inflow!

What would be the outcome of this unexpected situation of India and people in it?

This is not really surprising.

This should be the correct reaction to the pandemic that is happening. Obviously it will affect the economy and it would be a risk to continue accepting people outside the country since it would affect more if there will be a case. Here in our country, our capital, Manila is in lockdown, still, a lot of people are so annoying and not following the policies to be followed. People are struggling and the government is doing their best to provide for us. These are all expected in a pandemic, people should follow since this will also be for their safety.
1524  Economy / Economics / Re: The Corona Pandemic economic guessing game on: March 27, 2020, 02:21:57 AM
Which country's government will be the most affected by the COVID-19 global pandemic, and be the first to go bankrupt, and default?
Ofcourse, the countries that are most likely affected by the pandemic of corona virus or covid-19 are the ones who has a huge numbers of people who are infected and died in their population because maybe a lot of business man, politicians, or rich and popular have died due to the virus.

Businessmen? Politicians? Rich people? I don't think so.

These people you are stating have the power to be the first ones to be tested. In our country, those politicians are the first ones on the line being tested and not even prioritizing the people that are already positive to the virus. These people are sacrificing their people for their own good, because of them being prioritized, test kits are being short now for those people that needed it.
1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: March 27, 2020, 01:40:25 AM
COVID-19 is still spreading all over the world, there are so many people affected by the virus, there are a lot of people who can not work anymore because of being afraid to go outside.

We should do something to prevent COVID-19 from spreading to each and everyone, if we want to play gamble, please do not go outside and find any nearest casino building just to play. I know that real life casino is better when playing because we can interact to anyone and we can also feel the ambiance of the real life casino but as of this moment, it is better to play online gambling than real life casino, it is better for you to stay at home to avoid contact to many people.

Let us help each and everyone, by simply obeying our authority by staying at home, do not go outside. Let us start stopping the virus, it will all start with ourself.

So true.

Gambler or not, there are a lot of people just wanting to go outside not fearing what the virus can do with the families and loved ones. The OP is right, people should follow those policies being said by the government, it is for our own safety. A new song about coronavirus that I just heard says," people are the possible solution".
1526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: March 27, 2020, 12:43:38 AM
As you may know, casinos all over the United States and the world have begun closing their doors to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus. While this has taken a financial toll on casinos, cafes, restaurants and hotels, etc, it has put the kibosh on problem gambling or at least made a serious dent in the lives of hopeless gambling addicts.

What will most gambling addicts do when they can no longer gamble at casinos, and what do you think they'll do when the casinos reopen in several months from now? Will most of them be finally cured of their gambling addiction, or will most of them return to their old ways?

Why are the OP only focussing on the US while almost all the casinos around the world already banned going to these kinds of places because of the pandemic?

Though it's been more than a week since casinos are closed in our country and we don't have a choice but to work at our homes and obviously, gamble online. To be honest, I am getting sick of working at home and then gamble after that. I am getting tired of it so after working I do some workouts and have some bonding with my family. I still gamble no problem though I am not addicted and I think despite their addicted they are quarantined in their houses right now doing other things than gambling.
1527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does good side of gambling overcomes its negative side? on: March 26, 2020, 01:52:11 PM
Positive:
1. Gambling will let you think analytically and logically.
3. It will let you interact with other people which is good for socializing.

This depends on people and where they are gambling.

Since we are using cryptocurrencies, I can assume that we usually gamble online either fiat or cryptos. Number 1 would not be included if a gambler is betting on dice games since that is a lucky-unlucky situation, you don't really need to think. Another thing is that most online gamblers don't usually talk at chats, usually, they are busy and just letting the bots do the betting.

Negative:
1. It will make you unproductive in other things.
3. It will lessen your time spending on your family.

Number 4 is inevitable and other else is obvious.

1 and 3 can be lessened. As I said, a lot of people here are betting online and most of them use Bots. In that way, they can lessen their time in front of their PCs or laptops and focus on what they need to be done. They are still productive and at the same time, they have time with their family.

It made me realize, do positive things will let you stay from gambling?

Yes, I will.

I am gambling for a while now and I am not really addicted so I have no problem with it. The problem in my case is that I am spending most of my time, more like wasting my time since I don't have that much money to start with and I am just using faucet sats that I can get. Still, it is entertaining and a good thing to relax, I do auto-bet too but it will be lost so quickly.
1528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not as risky as many think. on: March 26, 2020, 12:50:12 PM
One of the main points many Bitcoin naysayers are quick to bring up whenever you question them on why they are so anti bitcoin is that bitcoin is ‘volatile and risky’. The truth is that Bitcoin is no riskier than any other asset and it may even be safer.

Here’s why Bitcoin is safer than most assets: https://www.cryptopolitan.com/bitcoin-is-safer-than-most-assets-stop-treating-it-as-risky/

What are your thoughts?

I do agree that Bitcoin is risky.

But then again, that is one of the reasons why I invested in it the same as decentralization and anonymity. Gold is even said to be not that reliable, how much more is a volatile investment. Let them think what they want, they are the ones missing out. If we will be calculating the profits we had in the years we are here, it can show the profit we had and that will show them they are wrong.
1529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: March 26, 2020, 12:05:57 PM
I think diversification is the best.

E.g. hodl some, trade some

As I said this depends on the person.

They might be focus on getting a well-diversified portfolio but then again, what if that person doesn't have the money to invest in that kind of portfolio. Not all of us here can do that, some even just hold money to get a profit.
1530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin declined 3% as the coronavirus spread in italy on: March 26, 2020, 10:37:44 AM
I think we should not let ourselves be affected by this article.

The fact that Bitcoin kept on staying at $10K last month amidst the coronavirus means it is not related to it at all. We are talking about Bitcoin increasing amidst the price meaning it is affecting the price positivity and then when the price fell we will be talking about the pandemic affecting the price negatively, I mean, it is just a coincidence. It fell 45% last week and a 3% fall is the main thing? No, Bitcoin is just volatile because of this fall. They can just say that it fell because of what's happening in Italy. Oh yeah, the price fell after I posted this, I think it is affected by it.
1531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading by Italian Banks on: March 26, 2020, 09:56:01 AM
It's confusing how people that doesn't really use bitcoin will be able to own bitcoin.

That is so true though.
We have massive information on that with the help of the internet.

I think would just use fiat right now to live through the lockdowns and the community quarantines that are happening in our country. They would not be thinking about the investment they have, they would be thinking how would they be able to survive for example in Italy where a lot of cases are happening. They would not focus on using Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, they will think how and where would they buy essentials for them to be safe.
Although I think bitcoin was made for situation like this, we can't just tell people or even us to use digital currency because of the threat we are facing right now. The fact that we don't have much bitcoin supporting businesses and machines already disorients the idea of using bitcoin in times of crisis. However they could use bitcoin to store their monetary values but the thing is people does really need money to buy their essentials right now.

But the problem here is the acceptability.

People are definitely buying a lot of essentials are groceries and even if people are prone to get the virus using fiat they will keep on using it since there are not that many groceries accepting Bitcoin. They would not even think of using it since they are more focussed on buying the essential and keeping theirselves alive inside their houses for the rest of the quarantine.
1532  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc going to 2k or 3k or 7k or 9k on: March 26, 2020, 04:30:10 AM
Suprisingly, the price of bitcoin is slowly increasing it's price back to $7,000 and there are a lot of theories again on what are the possible reasons why bitcoin makes a sudden change to it's value. All i know is it is a good news for everybody who have buy bitcoin in a low price and holding bitcoin for a long term.

That dumps should really teach people how Bitcoin behaves.

A lot of people are doubting that Bitcoin is a scam and every time Bitcoin falls, a lot of people are talking about how right they are and people should distance themselves to such schemes(I knew some people said that with the recent dump). Right now, the price is going back to normal and I know, a lot of people are having regrets not buying at that dump.
1533  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy would benefit if all crypto work together on: March 26, 2020, 02:53:08 AM
It would be easy for the adoption to happen if all the team will work together and partner up. I think this will soon be possible once teams realizes they need the community of the other coin to grow bigger.  All of the coins, though they have different technology behind their projects can be united for the adoption.

Some projects can be connected without problems, though there is this main reason why wouldn't this happen.

People are creating their coin for the purpose of people investing in them. They want to popularize their idea of a coin, and despite the cause of the coin, people want to earn money. We are naturally greedy, we have our own ways of showing them. If they started partnering up for a certain project, that would be great but there might be a problem in the long run.
1534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: March 26, 2020, 02:25:19 AM
Not only on the current ESL pro but also in Dec 17th - Dec 22nd 2019 ESL which Vitality won that tourney. They might be top #10 at the moment but they are a strong team.

I think they might even win the series.

They just lost yesterday to Astralis and I do understand that since it is Astralis, one of the best teams in the league right now. They are leading the score in this league and followed by other teams including Na'Vi and Team Vitality. I hope this will be a good tournament for the rookie, this is his first tournament, hope it would really improve the team as a whole and not just focus on their superstar, Zywoo.
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 3 Online Casino Sites Considered as the Oldest on: March 25, 2020, 12:16:58 PM
And this is the oldest crypto currency gambling website and casinos,

1] Freebitco.in - 2013
2] Primedice - 2013
3] Bustabit - 2014
4] Cloud bet - 2015
5] Bitcasino - 2013
So the oldest is in 2013? Haven't heard about this crypto casinos, I wonder if they are still in operation. When we think about it, crypto casinos are still not that old because in the list the oldest is only about 7 years from now. When compared to the traditional casinos that have started far older than crypto, crypto casinos are still young.

It seems theres another site that is much a year older than that.

NitrogenSports - 2012
Directbet - 2013
Just-Dice - 2013

I knew Freebitco.in for a long time since it is the first-ever site that I tried using cryptocurrency, specifically Bitcoin then I also tried PrimeDice but stick to FreeBitco.in. I did not invest that quickly to it, I just get free satoshis using their faucet and at that time that I am gambling there, I can always see the price at $700, and boy I hope I kept on gambling at that time and just save it until now. As far as I know, I won .1 BTC there from the free satoshis I got but also lost it because well, I got greedy.
1536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: March 25, 2020, 04:31:20 AM
That's a very clear explanation, I get your point, I realize that most of the tournaments are done through LAN so that means they are not allowed anymore under a more strict policy of lock down, and we are left with less interesting games to bet on if in case it's still available.

Thanks for that and that is so true.

Most of the games right now are not that good to bet on except for the ESL Pro League CSGO is having right now. I am still betting on it since the games are really great, I'me with Na'Vi and Vitality right now but I'm a bit disappointed with Na'Vi losing to a lower-tier team even with simple getting 81 kills in the series. That tournament is still ongoing right now so better bet while it lasts.
1537  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: March 25, 2020, 02:44:04 AM
Each of us have different experience when it comes to trading and holding. Some prefer to be a hodler while others find trading more profitable and suits them most. So it depends on how we deal with it because it can be both profitable depending on our strategy and plan. I already tried both and for me holding is way better because its not complicated as long as I chose a good coin to hold and set a target price on when to sell then its good enough.

I think this depends on the preference and the money of that individual.

As people are wanting to get a profit out of the volatility of cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin, not all of us can afford to lose. As people have a good amount of money to put in cryptos. I think most of them prefer trading than just holding. I am not saying that most of them don't prefer holding, they are also holding but focus more on trading. Those people who prefer holding are those that can't really invest since they can't afford to lose, meaning they don't have that amount to invest and just buy popular cryptos and hold it for some time.
1538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW LOW BTC CAN GO? on: March 25, 2020, 01:09:06 AM
At this moment, BTC is moving sideways +- $400. The possibility of it moving to either direction is very likely which of course no one can say for sure. I believe in BULL at this moment but I can't ignore that there are some sudden factors causing dumps which is further causing panic sell. Hence, this is totally speculative at this moment. Therefore, I created this poll to understand the mindset of the people involved in this. Hence, I request everyone to fill this poll.
If you have any explanation to any of the theories you believe and you want to explain me, please don't hesitate to leave a message so that we can discuss more where I can also input if I can Smiley

I'm a bit late but the price is getting better and better.

This proves that a lot of people take advantage of the dump and I don't see Bitcoin falling from $6K again in this pre-halving situation. We might start at $6K at pre-halving, and that would the best thing that would happen for those people who reinvested and took the opportunity. I think we should ask the opposite, how high would it go before halving.
1539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this the best time to teach about bitcoin? on: March 22, 2020, 12:13:34 PM
i think this is the best time to teach people about bitcoin and get some potential new investor or holder in the future
but the big question is HOW?

I understand your goal here but I don't think this is the best time.

People are now focussing on how they would be safe in their houses. At these times, people would be investing their fiats into essentials, to things their family needed to be safe and be free from the contamination of the virus. I would be happy to teach people about Bitcoin if they ask me but I think it is the wrong time to teach people right now. They are scared, they are thinking about the safety of their families and I guess we should too.
