1521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's next for cryptocurrency? on: September 18, 2022, 01:59:20 PM
There may be a correction and an increase in the bitcoin price but don't expect more than 25,000$ at the moment, the market is not yet ready for a big rally for many reasons, the best thing is to hold and wait until the end of the year you might see very good news.
The market is not always as we expect, for example, the expectations were a large increase in the price of Ethereum after the merger, but the opposite happened and the price is still bearish so far, so waiting is the best thing.
Apart from the bear we also have a correction which happens from time to time, this is why the price never sustained their gains and they haven't experience to break out on that $25k barrier. There are economic problems that the world is facing right now including inflation and recession. They are among the reasons on why the market is having a hard time to do a rally.

Hodling is already given there to survive and avoid us from losing but other than that, we can also team it up with buying. I think it's true that the more you expect on one thing the more your expectations won't occur and it happened many times already here in cryptos.
1522  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does anyone think it will be much harder to buy bitcoin later on down the road? on: September 17, 2022, 12:23:10 PM
Just wanted everyone's thoughts on how easy it is to get bitcoin now, and what getting bitcoin might be like in the future? For example, I can simply go on cashapp and buy btc, send to a wallet I own the keys to. I can also use localbitcoins, paxful, I mean the list is kinda endless. Will that list become...not so endless in the future as the value gets higher?
In terms of value, yes because I expect that the value of btc will became very expensive in the future although bears are still there. If you have a patience, you can always wait for it to buy at a less cheaper price. Now in terms of accessibility, it will only became more easier to buy bitcoin as it's going to be more popular in the future and so many merchants or companies are going to support it.

Right now, I've seen a couple of fiat wallets that support cryptocurrencies but the approach is like PayPal. You can only buy and sell cryptos within their app but you can't send or receive a crypto. I hope they will revise it soon and I won't hesitate to use them as an alternative.
1523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 16, 2022, 08:02:46 PM
Arey bhai kaise karwaoge test match October mein?

We have T-20 World Cup starting from 16 oct and it's almost 1 month affair. I like ICC bashing but thoda bahut maryada aur logic ka bhi dhyan rakhe lol  Grin
Fuck!! Forgot man. I was checking the time table and got inquisitive as to why ICC wants to have a lot of test match in a single month? Thanks for the reply.
It's alright happens sometimes..

Anyway In regard to your latter observation. South Africa has a habit of pulling off a strong performance in Australia every single time but this time current proteas team is new and kind of weak when compared to the previous squads but they do have fair amount of match winners (bowlers) who are capable of change the tide singlehandedly, given conditions are favorable. IMO this should be a good contest although my money would be on Aussie.
After watching their performance against England and now announcement about departure of Mark Boucher as coach after this T-20 world cup most chances I have no positive feeling about them in Australia because they can't survive against them in Australia even their bowling attack is doing good, but their batting is surely needed good improvement which is not possible in these months.

Still we can expect much better competition between these two teams because Australia is also having habit of collapses again and again which is going to be good for them but here if their batting done good job then surely this is going to be amazing stuff and with this both teams can go through into WTC final 2023.
1524  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to proper trade in you asset in this market situation? on: September 16, 2022, 12:48:30 PM
In my opinion i think that the ratio of money which you esteem that will not use in everyday works so it will be ideal for you to put that differently in separate tokens, when the price reaches to grand level then sell them one by one. Short term investment in bad market is associated with positivity  but it will be useful for some expert buddies not for everyone.
Diversification is a great thing in the investment world wherever you are. I personally do not believe in putting more than 10% into any coin honestly, but I do not follow my own investment advice because 50% of my coins are in bitcoin, and nearly 30-35% of them are in ETH and another 15-20% are in BNB, so I am not really following my own advice.

But if you find something that really worths your money then you should put a 10% in there, and keep doing that with as many as you can, maybe put like 25% to bitcoin and 20% to ethereum because those are giants of the market and that is reasonable levels, but aside from that keep it on 10% and diversify your portfolio for sure.
1525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: At what Bitcoin price do you think altseason will start? on: September 16, 2022, 09:33:03 AM
I think many altcoins we have now move along with Bitcoin so it all depends on the altcoin we are holding or trading. All altcoins do not move the same way all everything always depend of the project team if they have what it takes to make more investors to keep holding there coin or keep investing in that project.
The market is becoming unpredictable now for investors and no one want to make loses from trading or holding a particular coin that is we the market seems very silent with better movement.
Bitcoin is not moving well too so.it had affected all altcoins from having the optimum momentum that will keep them moving.
Yeah, altcoin season have started last time and I think that's when the price of btc reached $23k. This seems unexpected because that price was still low but usually we think alts season will start when the bull run starts or when btc surpassed it's previous all time high. What if it's not really btc who triggered the alt season? Because, there is also eth on the side that is doing great and some of us are thinking that it was the fault of eth and as we can see, btc is falling again while the momentum for most altcoins are still there.

I am not complaining about this but it was nice actually since we can now worry less. We can make profits in the side with the help of alts while we can stock up more btc.
1526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum (ETH) on Its Way to $2,100, Top Trader Says ! on: September 16, 2022, 08:28:05 AM
When Ethereum reaches ATH, the Ethereum price has a chance to go up, the price is $2.1k I think -50% of ATH, but the current situation can increase the price, where the Ethereum Merge is taking place and the next announcement of sharding is a new history for this achievement, currently the market is more dominant towards Bitcoin, Altcoins will definitely follow and we just have to wait a little bit
No doubt that it can increase. The merge is done and if there will be future updates, it's going to be more interesting now that ETH has now a limited supply.
It's seen that ETH is becoming now more deflationary but on the other hand, it's now also more centralized. Unlike before, it was semi-centralized. Now, it has fully become centralized.
Ah so that is one of the effects of the merge? Where eth supply is now going to be known. If it's possible for it to pump before when its supply is unknown or unlimited, then how much more when it can become scarcer over time? 2.1k is going to be a piece of cake for eth and we can't even consider it as an increase but it's only just a normal recovery.

Eth is already known as a centralized coin so even though the merge can it more centralized, it won't really be that shocking. We still have many decentralized coin out there and one of it of course is bitcoin.  Eth can only be good as an alternative if we want to experience the different functions of a crypto or blockchain technology.
1527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [POLL] After the merge the price of Ethereum will go? on: September 15, 2022, 07:18:07 PM
As at now the merger is complete and every one now has is eyes on ethereum. The celebration will continue today and may affect its price (might slight increase) but is it just an hype and can it move up without depending on bitcoin?

My vote is after the merger celebration is gone today Ethereum will still depend on bitcoin's rise
I'm sure there will be lots of talk about it tomorrow.  So far it seems like things went off without a hitch.  I'm guessing a lot of confused ETH miners are going to wake up tomorrow and wonder why their GPU fans aren't loudly spinning.  ETC is already seeing a massive hashrate increase and Ravencoin is seeing price/hashrate increases as well.  It will be an educational experience watching how different networks are effected by this.
Them as an experienced miner I think they already expected this but only those who are newb and aren't a fan of reading the news are going to be confused about what's happening with their eth miners, and maybe some of them will think it was broken already.

That is right, they say that hash rates of eth are going to be transferred on other coins and ETC is going to take most of it and then followed by ravencoin as these two coins are also a popular altcoins which miners are mining. Not only educational but can also be interesting for a less experienced person to see how stuffs will work or will be affected such as the networks right after the merge is done.
1528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Opened another business were I accept Bitcoin on: September 15, 2022, 12:42:29 PM
It took over 35 minutes before the transaction was finally successful and arrived in my wallet. Due to the delay, I started thinking 🤔 its a scam but I was also convinced that it might be a congestion in the Bitcoin network.
Afaik it wasn't a scam as long as you see that there is an incoming transaction in your wallet. You shouldn't worry anymore by there because the coins will always arrive even if it takes a long time due to the network congestion or to the fees that is set when sending the btc.

The fact that I want to teach my employees things about Bitcoin and also accepting and exchanging Bitcoins for customers, do you think it's a risk am taking and should i discontinue the Business?
Every business has a risk but according to what you are doing, you will be just fine because you educate your employees properly. They will now be aware if what they should do in different scenarios. You should not worry and don't ever think of stopping this business because we all want to see it grow and maybe some of us will help you support it because we also love the idea of spreading the word btc in your own ways.
1529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trading strategies how to turn 50$ into 100k$ in a month ? on: September 15, 2022, 11:02:19 AM
people who managed to get hundreds of times the profit in one project and the short period of time is a lucky person. they also never know that the project will generate a lot of profit before it happens. so to chase more profit it's actually impossible unless you are lucky to get a project whose hype is very big.
It really was luck on the side and things like that of course wouldn't always come,
with conditions like this I think it is difficult to find a project that can provide hundreds of times of profit,
back again it's all inseparable from luck
Honestly, we do not need it neither, people are looking for extra riches that they shouldn't. It’s clear that most people could find 100-500 dollars, and if they can find something that makes it go up 100x that means it would be 10k-50k price range and in most parts of the world that’s life changing amount and that is why they are looking to find it.

Reality is that if you could find even as low as 50 bucks to invest into bitcoin and do that for 20-30 years, you are going to be wealthy anyway, why not do that? I know people want to be rich right now, but if you are under 40, then 20 years is nothing, and if you are 40 then it is still a great retirement plan for sure. Only if you are 60 or above that could be a bit futile idea.
1530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: COME HERE>> hear me out.... don't miss this on: September 15, 2022, 08:41:06 AM
The last time was worse than this time, before, the cryptocurrency market was not recognized by any country.. and it is only a matter of time until people are convinced that cryptocurrencies are the only escape from the economic damage caused by wars and chaos
True, the last 2018 it's like 80% of the market was wiped out, this time it's lesser and also lesser in pain. More adoptions have came and more will come while we go pre and post halving.
I think 2018 was the biggest dump in the history of cryptos right after that first crypto pump which happened on 2017. Many people think it was the end but they are wrong because the market have recovered later on. There's a new dump that happened this year but that didn't get severe because people are already in control of the situation.

There's less panic that is felt but time many people are only buying because they know what can happened next. No doubt that more adoptions have been declared lately and this can help the price to stabilize or to prevent from dumping further but the best part of it is of course, new ath is going to be seen.
1531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you think blockchain gaming technology will have evolved by 2030? on: September 15, 2022, 07:48:38 AM
in short term i think some of game developer will ad nft to their platform and longer therm they will change in-game currency that we usually buy with real cash turn into cryptocurrency and funding from community will be a lot more than from a large companies
Metaverse platform already have this and most of the games now have their own NFTs just like with Axie Infinity.
I see most of the games now are still struggling from the bear market, some are still down and didn’t have any update yet. Though some games are already working with Web3 as well which is a good improvements. The future is still good only if they continue to exist in this market and if they continue to develop. Not all games today will last longer, they must continue to adopt and innovate.
Metaverse is just a word, the reality in the minds of people are much different. A world where you can live instead of real life will not happen for many decades, it is not a technology for today. Yes the technology world grows fast, but not all the time, look at the VR world for example, it has been around for a decade and it is still not something we have in our houses for all of us, some do but not all.

This is why I believe that we are not going to live the metaverse everyone imagines anytime soon, that ready player one type of world would probably only happen after a lot of years and so far any project that promotes a new world would always end up with a problem for sure.
1532  Economy / Economics / Re: Age as a factor depreciating some people of their dreams on: September 13, 2022, 08:47:02 PM
Age may be a factor for some people while it is not for others. Age is what some see as a factor not to take step and for orders, it can't stop them. A procrastinator see age as an excuse not to work while he who is not lazy get to try, This is a simple analysis of whet it is with age . Procrastination is the factor that can hinder dreams and not age.
Age may be a factor for some people, while it's not for others. Every dream is not for any age, so for some kind of success, age really matters, but it is not the end of life. Because sometimes keeping plan B is a good thing too. Setting goals makes people more enthusiastic at every age. If we consider age is really a factor in depreciating people's dreams, then experience is questionable here. Remember this, every experience makes you grow.
I think it depends too if what is the career you are trying to pursue. As we can see most of the careers in the op are writing. That is because there is no age limit in writing. Young or old, you can always do it or get hired with it but of course as long as you have a passion for it. There is one guy in the list who do business.

There is also no age limit in doing a business but in fact many businessmen/women are adults. Right that there is always a plan b when we can't fit with the plan a. In short, try those careers who don't have an age limit and who knows, you might also like them and you will be shocked that you have a hidden talent at it.
1533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mine a Bitcoin or buy a bitcoin? on: September 13, 2022, 06:38:24 PM
I'd only mine if there is no other way of acquiring Bitcoin like being unbanked or underage. Or if I got solar panels and free electricity. Otherwise buying is probably more profitable.
Underage does not seem appropriate here. Giving money in the hands of kids is a wrong thing to do but I guess most users are going to be of age in this sector. Kids should focus on building their career and education first to get a stable job.

Solar panels are expensive - the major concern of mining is to reduce the investment so as to maximize the ROI. You are not going to buy something that costs too much reducing the budget allocation to something else. Some miners are using it but they have much bigger farms and the number of ASICs here are making the difference.

Even then, with the huge hashpower struggles between mining pools, indie miners have very little scope to ROI. On the other hand, buying bitcoin is way easier.
Underage can be under 18 years old and we know that many centralized exchanges requires a kyc now. I think that's what he was worrying about but let us not forget that there are dexe's too which doesn't require a kyc and we can safely buy btc's there if we are not in the legal age.

I believe so many underage people are involved in cryptos right now due to the promised profit and also to that play to earn games. If he is unbanked that means he doesn't have any cash with him so how can he be able to mine a btc that way? Unless if he already have a miner with him or he uses someone else miner like his brother, father, friends, and cousins.
1534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: September 12, 2022, 07:48:00 PM
It was a really horrible day for Besiktas today.

They had 21 goal attempts but only 2 of them were on target. N'Koudou and Gedson Fernandes had two absolute goal chances but they both couldn't benefit from the chances. Basaksehir scored on their first shot on target and the goal came because of making a mistake in the midfield. Basaksehir are on a such a great run these days by the way. They still haven't conceded any goal in the league matches and sharing the same statistics with the leader Konyaspor.

After all those weeks with very effective performance in offense, Besiktas couldn't even score one goal here. This was an unlucky day for them at the same time. But their next match is going to be against Istanbulspor so they can make up for this loss by a solid win I guess.
Surely a day which Besiktas and their fans never want to remember because they lost match and have one of the worst performance with no goal from 21 shots and have first defeat of this season against Basaksehir which is right now at second spot in League table with no lost and no goal against them in five matches only two top teams are doing things like these right now which is amazing in presence of few good teams in this league as well.

Basaksehir can go at the top of league with their sixth match which is going to be played against Karagumruk this season is going to be good for them as their first game in Europa Cup was also amazing against Hearts and now having big win against Besiktas is giving them double enjoyment with good stuff from all players.
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 12, 2022, 05:20:58 PM
Tomorrow Liverpool Ajax match tomorrow will be a defining event for the club as the atch will determine how far they willl go in both premiere and the champion because their match with clubs like Everton was bad and their are below average and Liverpool is not in the top 5 in the premiere table and if their did not win the tomorrow championship gae against Ajax that will be a bad day for Liverpool because their players motivation will be killed and it may lead to further defeat for Liverpool .
Come on, it's too early to judge Liverpool's struggles
Jurgen Klopp needs a little time to restore his team's confidence after failing to win the Champions League and Premier League titles last season. Despite finally winning the FA Cup, it is undeniable that the UCL and EPL are the biggest dreams of various clubs, including Liverpool.
We as fans need to support Klopp so that the players are motivated to fight again in the various competitions they are undergoing this season.
Agreed about this all as right now very early stage of this season, and we can't judge things very quickly with recent results they are struggling which is just because they need some good results for having good confidence and better results surely coming out in weeks which are not far long away mostly Klopp is happy with Premier League or Champions League which are no easy but still reachable even they have two cups in last season which were not big achievements but still acceptable as they have done good job.

Now in this season, we can expect good change which can happen in coming day's departure of Mane is surely having some impact and Nunez is also not settling, so it's going to take sometime then surely things could be positive and good just need some support from their loyal fans in this difficult time.
1536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino Stake.com sued for $400 million on: September 11, 2022, 08:35:30 PM
400 million dollars is never a small amount even with a billion dollar company such as Stake. However, the number of 400 million dollars is what the plaintiff or the former partner of stake demanded and it will never the final amount whether he won his case on the court. A lot of things are needed to be considered during trial for a fair amount to be decided.

Anyways, I don't think the former partner has a high chance on winning his case but still wanted to proceed with it to gain money against Stake.
If the company's worth is only a billion then yes 400 million can be considered to be large because that amount is almost 1/2 of their entire wealth but if we are talking about hundred billion dollars like close to becoming a trillionaire then 400 million can still be paid without worrying a lot. So, 400 million dollars is only just a minimum amount but the amount can still grow? Dang but what if the guy is defeated by the opposing party?

I think stake wouldn't paid him anything but stake will only pay the lawyers and other people that helped them sort this issue. They can save a lot of money because I think the overall cost will not reach 400 million dollars.
1537  Economy / Economics / Re: Which city deserves to be the blockchain capital? on: September 11, 2022, 06:06:54 PM
Sounds so obviously ironic, its not a centralized standard.  Surely there should be no center or any aim to direct the blockchain in that way even if it were purely publicity.   You could argue maybe the countries with BTC as a national currency deserve the first attempt at such a title but the whole world is the ideal.
But for some reason blockchain events are held more often in some cities than in others. Why do you think organizers choose 1 city more often?
Than in other what? Events? Organizers choose more than one city because not all people can attend the event as they are too far. @STT common man it's only just an event or a meeting to help spread the word blockchain so let us not take things seriously.

This does not affect the decentralization of the blockchain but it is still fully decentralized. We can just treat this the same to those countries who are titled to be the first to adopt btc or to make btc as a legal tender. London got 26 events so far but I think Dubai and Singapore will be a better venues for this. Not only about cryptos or blockchain but Dubai is known for business meetings while Singapore has a good ambiance. It's clean and there are great scenery there.
1538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have started teaching Bitcoin to my Neighbors on: September 10, 2022, 09:01:50 PM
Very good job indeed! I never did something so semi-professional but whenever a neighbour or relative asked me about Bitcoin and its price I always try to explain them what blockchain technology is, what are benefits of that technology, how to send or receive money etc. In overall it helps people to change their lives. Many people started asking me how to trade stable coins when there are issues with banking etc. Most people her learned about Binance and Bitcoin through young people like us.
I think what you are currently doing there can be already called as a semi professional because teaching someone in a precise way is not easy but it takes patience and time for your students to learn as they can keep on asking you repeated questions. It's nice that those people start to realize the importance of cryptos right after they experience an issues with their local banks.

Well, banks are unreliable even at the start. Many elders are also interested but younger people got them covered since they are more knowledgeable when it comes to this while I am not totally underestimating the ability of the elders as there's also elders who got involved on crypto first before us teenagers.
1539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: September 10, 2022, 04:31:58 PM
It was possible way back in the ICO years and it can still happen now but for just rare circumstances. You will have to be keen on looking out for gems in the market and it's going to be hard work with full efforts at checking every cryptocurrency, especially the new ones.
There are many "too good to be true" and you have to avoid them. Filter the ones that are picked and then filter them more until you find a small number of candidates to invest with.
Also, keep in mind to never use your emotions by doing so.
ICO's have been replaced by a better version such as ieo and ido but along with this is the profitability of the investors did also decreased. How is that possible? I think that is because most ico projects are just a pump and dump but nowadays it's easy to choose a legit project and usually legit projects can take a long time to bloom. There are no ico's now but there are still pump and dump coins in the name of meme coins.

If you are lucky, your hundred dollar investment can bear you a thousand more but that's the same as pure gambling. It's too risky so better if we avoid it and let's only take the hard route but with a better chances of earning a profit.
1540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's biggest flops are now pumping ? But why?! on: September 09, 2022, 07:19:54 PM
Terra Luna Classic and Voyager are two projects nobody expects to attract a lot of investors anymore. Yet they're going parabolic ? Right at the bottom of one of the worst bear markets crypto's ever had ??
This is madness.
Actually coins pump and dump depend upon the News rumour. Some days ago we seen best project Tornado Cash down from 32$ to 12$ because of bad News around there. Now Luna Classic pump reason is also new of tax burning. This burn will decrease the supply of coin. This is the reason all investor now investing in this coin.
Not news alone but it's one of the factors for the ups and downs of the cryptos. Take note that it must be a real news and not only a rumor but investors are crazy if they believe instantly without verifying if the rumors are real or not. Anyway, the effect is still positive because the price had rise but this shouldn't last longer if there won't be really a tax burning that will happen regularly.

You already state a reason on why luna classic is rising but what about the other coin called voyager? Never heard of this coin before but I think this coin is not worst as lunc so I am not offended if the coin is rising. Maybe they deserve it because they did something well.
