1521  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: another scam: nitrominer.com? on: October 25, 2013, 07:51:40 AM
Anyone claiming to sell custom ASICs who hasn't posted an announcement in this forum is most definitely a scam!  If they were legit, they would post here so knowledgable people could vet them.  Scammers like this are praying on the ignorant and the ill-informed.

This.

1523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM]unofficial jhPrimeminer thread on: October 23, 2013, 06:20:04 AM
I've been mining at yPool with jhPrimeminer-T11.8-AVX.exe. Don't recall where or why, maybe just first I found when I wanted to try XPM mining.
Is jhPrimeMiner_RdBBeta3.zip the best XPM miner to use now  Huh

(Edit: Is primeminer_v06_rc2_x86_and_x64.zip the XPM miner now? I think this is Xolominer for the beer joint.)

I'm wondering the same plus which miner does work with the wallet itself, thus support GetBlock?

1526  Local / Suche / Re: [S] ruhigen, stabilen GPU-Miner für vanitygen on: October 02, 2013, 01:04:24 PM

1527  Local / Biete / Re: [EU - BPMC]Blue Bitfury - Paypal and Bitcoin accepted - Invoice on: October 02, 2013, 08:24:51 AM

Down to 5 coins per block now Smiley
Glad to see the coin moving along nicely.
C'mon folks. Lets get this puppy on an exchange! I would love to soak up a few more before the block reward goes down to 1.25.

Aaand i'm out - lets see if this one hits any exchange...
1530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PPL] PeopleCoin | Scrypt | PoW/PoS | No Premine on: September 20, 2013, 03:37:05 PM
Still a fair amount of hash power ticking away on this for a new coin, however the pool is all but dead.
Is there another pool around?

Just mine solo unless you got less than 1000 khs...
1531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PPL] PeopleCoin | Scrypt | PoW/PoS | No Premine on: September 18, 2013, 01:08:38 PM
Woke up this morning to 150 Peoplecoins, so happy with that.

Found my first block after 2h with 1300 khs solo Smiley
1532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PPL] PeopleCoin | Scrypt | PoW/PoS | No Premine on: September 18, 2013, 09:39:24 AM
Beware, all my mined PPL coins was automatically sent to a strange address "PPVFXzdxcH5TpGCLCUXPyCQkdu4RQ5xfNQ".

PPL client was downloaded from Github and compiled under Linux so i think the PPL Devs are secretly stealing the coins.

Are they credited in your wallet? My XPM get credited to different addresses all the time, they are taken from your addresspool, nothing to worry about.

Anyone got a working testnet node?

I'm running some testnet nodes. Try adding this to your primecoin.conf:
Code:
seednode=primeseed.muuttuja.org

That's working - thanks Smiley

1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin High Performance on: September 03, 2013, 05:02:22 PM
I'm hardly finding any blocks this week compared to the last one, unlucky or did something major change?

I found one since I started mining on my personally-owned server about 3 days ago.

Okay - i found 9 blocks last week, then none for 4 days, 3 yesterday and thats it - but since i'm still way above ypool avg of 4 xpm per day, still good Cheesy
