Why consider litecoin as to purchase for investments?its better to take bitcoin and as is specially nowadays when we have no assurance about the future prices since market is going up and down. I suggest if you really want to diversify your capital then buy ethereum or ripple because this two has good potential this year I agree with you, I already use litecoin as my other investment besides of bitcoin because I believe that litecoin can increase too like another coin. but now, my focus is still on bitcoin and ethereum and I think this two coin will rise in the short time. ripple can also a good choice to buy because I think ripple can get increase again in this year like the last year. so I think you need to decide by your own so you don't just listen with others suggestion to you and the best is if you can analyze the coins before you buy. On a contrary ripple has been in good position now and being a banking cryptocoin i believe that sooner this coin will be the transaction currency of every bank since they know that having crypto community now they are in the middle of nothing if they don't adapt this electronic currency. I have now heard a lot of people talking about they are waiting for bitcoin to drop, so that they can buy bitcoin. But these guys might have said that since 6k$ and are still waiting. What do you tell those people, to try and make them understand that waiting for a drop can cost them huge percentage gains?
Instead of waiting for bitcoin to drop the price i rather buy some altcoin first while the bitcoin still in high,from this i can gain another amount to invest in bitcoin when the price drops. I think only BTC could be think as a long term investment; other are blockchain projects. meanwille take a look on the reseach at www.crypto-compass.io : free access, no adds This looks like an add to me.  As for the long term for crypto being 2yrs I agree completely. Many of the alts will die out in a year or so. Too many bad alts exist. It is never a good thing to sell hastily.
It is never a good thing to sell below ICO price.
It is not also good to sell at exactly the ICO price.
There were times sold when i was not supposed to sell. Just because of the excitement of receiving tokens through bounty participation and perhaps through airdrop, i was eager to cash out.
Most of the times i did this, i always found out that i later ran at loss, not considering my effort and the time spent in promoting such project.
I could have also had 2x and sometimes 10x the ICO price, but impatience made me to loose the opportunity.
My last experience was on a token i received. Mentioning the name will be of no use, but for crypto enthusiasts to also learn from my mistake. Ever since then, i have learnt to hold and this has been profitable to me.
No matter how you got your token or coin, always try and be patient enough to hold until you are in profit.
Well this same reason why most of newbie in crypto community fails,becaus of being impatient ive been like you once Mate and its really frustrating when you saw those coins you sold now having huge value. I use to have almost 1k litecoins before but just like you i sold it when the price grows 15$ and now imagine how big money i am having if i have some patience |

I'd like to share some trading tips for beginners.
When I start investing on cryptocurrencies I only use few dollars.First time I have invested 0.008btc (6400ETN)on Electroneum ICO.And when electroneum gets listed on cryptopia I sell my ETN at 0.00001200sat each ( 0.0768BTC) My money was doubled many times over.So after I sold my 6400ETN at 0.0768BTC I bought some undervalued coins like XLM,XVG,XBY,DGB.I diversify my porffolio for each of them.So far I have earn a lot from these coins multiples times.I bought XLM at 300sats,XBY at 250sats,XVG at 200sats and DGB at 150sats.See much profit I get now.But I'll suggests it's safer for beginners to hodl.Buy and Hodl.I hope my tips could help for beginners.

I found this out just now, I have been involved with Bitcoin for 2 years.
So, from today I started trading with satoshis. I don't care anymore about the Dollar, because the dollar value can go up without satoshis going up.
BUT you also can trade with $ value + Satoshis.
If you sell your crypto for Tether, you get $, and when the Bitcoin price goes down, means now with your Tether you can get more Bitcoin (Satoshis).
Let's say you just care about Satoshis, you can trade your crypto (altcoins) for Bitcoin and the satoshi value will stay the same. (Because 1 BTC is 1 BTC)
What we can do is, if an altcoin is paired with dollar, when BTC price goes up, but the satoshi value of that specific coin stays or goes up a bit, you can trade that specific Altcoin for dollar (or Tether).
And when the dollar value goes down, re-buy it again. The satoshi level will stay same (rather close) but you will now have more of that crypto.
If you're lucky, the price in $ will go up, the satoshis too, so what you can do is trade for BTC, then for dollar/Tether and wait for the dip. When it dips re-buy BTC and buy that crypto again.
With this method I believe you will have more satoshis/crypto.

Transactions usually use a very small Bitcoin Bitcoin (BTC) = 100,000,000 satoshis you can replace the transaction if they are convenient for you. For me Litecoin is one of the most popular coins with a huge marketcap, I prefer Litecoin favorites to be $ 1,000 this year, So you can try to invest there
